This place is fun 🍿 Popcorn is one of my top, favorite snacks so when my husband found this place, he decided to take me on a trip here. You really will feel like a little kid in a candy shop. There's old fashioned candy, sodas, and of course the ABUNDANT flavors of popcorn. We left with about 13 different flavors to snack on at home. So far Dill Pickle and Toffee Almond are my favorites... I'll be back to try more :)

Olivia was AMAZING! Letting me and my date in at the last second, giving us the rundown of the place, giving recommendations, and even giving me a Pappa Corn's sticker!!! When I asked for one. She was truly wonderful and so helpful. Loved my whole experience. And I LOVED the popcorn I got. We ended up getting some classic kettle corn, buffalo chicken, and fried pickle. Buffalo Chicken was my favorite, but all were awesome. I highly recommend this place. Thanks, Olivia.

😍 the funnest popcorn shop with tons the fun candy! Get the Strawberry Cheesecake! There are so many pop corn flavor to choose from, savory and sweet! Get some just for you or for the office. They offer lots of sizes. And they do Fundraising as well. This would be a great choice for a client thank you gift. Just check out their website for flavors. But definitely stop in. Bring the kids! I love their popcorn! So many flavors...but my favorites are probably dill pickle, kettle corn, jalapeño cheddar, and spicy buffalo. The owner, Keith, is super friendly and welcoming. The store also has a large variety of candy and chocolates.

My favorites are the buffalo and the full pickle. The other flavors were not as enjoyable. However, the customer service is very warm and welcoming. Oh, and the popcorn is very fresh! I was concerned it wouldn't be as other places tend to not have fresh kernels but that is not the case here. If you happen to have a sweet tooth, you'll enjoy all of the nostalgic candies to select from.

Oh my god, this is popcorn heaven! Went here this afternoon on the recommendation of my co-worker and wow am I glad I listened. The owner and his employee were very kind and seemed genuinely happy to be talking to me about their popcorn! I decided to get 2 savory (cheesy ranch and bacon cheddar) and 2 sweet (blueberry cheesecake and sea salt caramel). All of them are delicious. I had to stop myself from ordering every flavor on the menu. I can’t wait to come back and gift these to friends and family for the upcoming holidays. Had the privilege of visiting this place last night. It was maybe 15 minutes before closing. However they were so nice, you would have thought it was middle of the day. Which is a welcomed feel. I purchase a square of the best fudge chocolate fudge and popcorn. For the popcorn I mixed White Cheddar and Spicy Buffalo in a Junior bag. AMAZING!!!! Fresh and Flavorful. I’ll certainly be a repeat customer.

Man!!! I can't say enough about this place it is so nostalgic. When you walk through especially if you're with somebody you say "hey do you remember these ?" or you take pictures and you send it to people. They have drinks candy snacks chocolate every snack food thing you've ever eaten 20 years ago or as a kid. The young men running the counter were so helpful and I actually met the owner he was so funny and so kind and very helpful I've had I've loved every flavor of popcorn I've gotten from here. I am a popcorn connoisseur. My favorite is their Sriracha cheesy popcorn. It's nice and cheesy and he's got a mean kick to it. I've also had the caramel And the one name for the area the store then I can't remember but I love everything about this place The parking isn't the best but I've never had a problem finding a place to park it doesn't have its own contemporary parking area but there's parking on the side of the building and worst case you can park in front of somebody's house as it is right next to a residential neighborhood. This is a great place to go if you're not even in the mood for popcorn but you just want to do something or you want to go somewhere new and have a new experience

This place is magical. It's like stepping back in time to the candy store of yesteryear. There is a selection of sweets for every generation (candy I didn't even know they still made!) and the gentleman (I am assuming Poppa) is a gem. My granddaughter, age 2, was wearing her 'princess dress' and tiara and the magic appeared - Poppa welcomed her "Hello Princess. So glad you are here" If you are looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth (or popcorn tooth, there must've been 20 different flavors!), or want to be treated like royalty, THIS IS THE PLACE.

Great popcorn and easy ordering and pick up. I did individual popcorn bags for a girls night with 20 ladies. Gentleman who answered the phone took a lot of time with me to get the best flavor selection and choose the right size. He even persuaded me to try the dill pickle which I am so glad I did. Cute store too. Had to get some vintage candy when I got there. Papa himself checked me out and parking was easy. Popcorn was ready when I requested and flavors were handwritten in all the bags. Thank you and I will be back especially for the dill pickle popcorn!

Omgosh, what a gem I am a self-proclaimed popcorn lover. I stopped in on Sunday afternoon for the first time. Store was empty and I was able to talk to the worker about his favorite flavors. I was able to sample whatever i wanted. There are a ton of flavors, toppings and glazes. I snagged spicy Buffalo, dill pickle and Parmesan garlic. Two were recommendations from him. The popcorn I received in the bags were big, fully popped pieces and they each tasted like they had flavor on every kernel. Will definitely be back!!

I decided to take my partner here for a quick birthday outing and we had the best time! We spent about 15 minutes talking to Poppa (the owner) about candies and then picked out 13 items for ourselves! We were surprised at how reasonable everything was, the total was only $25, plus their rewards program is amazing (we're already close to getting a free mini savory popcorn). This is a beautiful family friendly gem and I would 100% recommend you check it out (and try the chocolate covered gummy bears)!

Poppa Corn's is a fun little popcorn and candy shop in Kirkwood. They specialize in MANY popcorn flavors, but they also have some candy that is difficult to find at other stores. My favorite is the Kirkwood mix, which is a spin off of Chicago mix with cheese and salted caramel popcorn flavors. They are following COVID protocols by only allowing one person/party in at a time since the shop is so small.

I enjoy popcorn and my wife found this place online. I must say that I am very glad that she did. It offered an expansive selection ranging from the standard caramel and cheddar options to the atypical Oreo and dill pickle flavors. I got the opportunity to try quite a few different flavors and each was very good in its own unique way. An added bonus to the delicious popcorn was the owners enthusiasm for his products. He was very eager to help us out and let us try lots of flavors. Solely based upon the popcorn, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

My boyfriend is basically obsessed with popcorn, and when we finally went to this place he was SO EXCITED. TLDR; Great popcorn, but somewhat pricey. But a HUGE variety of flavors!!! The owner is very passionate about popcorn, which is really fun and sweet. My boyfriend and I are slowly working through the menu. Current popcorn recommendations: - Dill pickle - Spicy buffalo - Salted caramel Don't need to take my word for it -- you are free to sample the popcorn flavors before you purchase!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I certainly would! When you walk in, it smells like warm coconut and sugar. The smell is heavenly! While I don't eat all of the flavors that Poppa Corn's offers, I've heard from friends that I've turned on to the spot, respond please, saying that the corn is scrumptious. I've tried their original flavor and I've had friends venture out and try the caramel and cheddar option. Each piece of corn is light, fluffy and flavorful! Not only do they have corn in a variety of flavors, they add color and nostalgia to the store with their wide selection of candy. From jelly beans to candy necklaces to Pez, they've got you covered on candy. Their soft drink/soda/cola/pop selection is pretty impressive too. While I've heard and read some folks note that the corn is a bit pricey, I'd say that it is absolutely worth every penny! The only negative about this place is the parking. Sometimes finding a spot can be a challenge. But the good news is that if you have to walk a little farther than the few desired steps, the walk back after you've gotten your fix, is a way to burn off the calories. :-)

I've had popcorn from here previously but this was my first time in the store. Service was great! You can sample the flavors before buying. They have tons of popcorn flavors and candy that will take you back to your childhood! The owner always makes a point to "pop" (pun intended) his head out to speak if he's in the building.

if you are looking for the best chicago mix (cheddar and caramel) in atlanta, look no further. i tested out a few shops in atlanta, and i am rating 5-stars based on: covid procedures and cleanliness, friendliness of staff/service, popcorn quality, and value for the price. poppa's is only letting one party in at a time for a private shopping experience. if you arrive while there are patrons in the store, you'll kindly be asked to wait outside until your turn. there are social distancing markers on the ground if there's a line as well. poppa corn is like the willy wonka of atlanta. he can tell you all about the different flavors and is gracious when answering questions, even when you have a lot to ask! he is patient and never rushed me during my shopping experience. onto the popcorn: the caramel has a light, sweet flavor, with subtle salt content. you can eat a good bit of it and still feel light afterward, it is great for a treat after dinner. it rivals garrett's out in chicago. the cheddar is not heavy handed and has a slight butter undertone, so that the fat from both really complement each other. lastly, value for the price was competitive with the market. you get what you pay for and compared to other sweet shops in the area, poppa corn's is right on target. there are A LOT of sizes and flavors to choose from, and you can browse the website beforehand so you can go in knowing what you want. highly recommend!

OMG, this is some of the best popcorn I've tasted! Just walking into this lil store is like taking a step back into your childhood! They got some amazing old school candies! Like Oh Henry bars, and Chucky bars, just to name a few! Oh and they also have Pez and the Kinder eggs! They even got candy cigarettes in the lil box.....WOW! But they have some pretty interesting popcorn flavors! Today I got a mix of Cayenne cheese, Tutti Frutti, and extra cheesy! Can I just say there is a party of sweet and salty goodness with a hint of heat going on in my mouth......OMG! I also saw some old school chewy sour balls that I use to eat when I was a lil kid! This place is a real treat and will put a new twist on the old Easter basket! Stop by and check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Okay to start off this place is not for the mean bullying kids type. Lol. Not unless you want to sweeten them up. You can smell freshly popped popcorn on the outside of the store. Mmmmmmmmmmm Back to my review the popcorn flavor variety OMG is at least 40 or 50. I've tried about 6 today but I will be back. Then they have Jelli Bellies OH MY STARS....... Water taffy, oh yeah the Sour Balls ... and then the gummy snacks. It's all just down right childhood goodness in one clean clutter free place. So mommy's and daddy's if you have been good take yourself to this place and tease the kids if they have not. This message is not approved by the keep sugar from kids society but I approved the sweet treats inside this store. Oh yeah, They do have unsalted, no butter, original, lite butter and extra butter also.

I enjoyed my experience there the customer service was excellent great job and the pop corn i tried was great the parmesan and garlic was good the spicy buffalo was also good but I got caramel and the bag is about gone

My husband and I stumbled into Poppa Corn's opening weekend while taking a walk through Kirkwood. The owner (who helped us during our visit) was so nice and it was easy to tell that he was/is passionate about both popcorn and his community. The popcorn was super reasonably priced and we ended up taking up a candied mix, dill pickle and salted caramel mini-bags. All three flavors were authentic and remained fresh for some time. We tried a few other samples while we were there (Dr. Pepper comes to mind!) and they were also all very good. Definitely recommend for people looking for a unique snack or a unique gift for friends/family.

We've driven by this place a million times and finally decided to stop by. We were so surprised to see that along with a TON of popcorn flavors they also had a variety of candies and sodas. Friendly and helpful staff offered samples of flavors. The popcorn tastes great too. Would definitely return to try more popcorn flavors!

This is probably my favorite place to dive into my sweet craving. The popcorn variety is amazing (check out the dill pickle, the sea salt dark chocolate or super cheesy) if you're lucky enough to be in one of the days they have puppy chow available, make super to grab some. I don't think they can keep it in stock. Also available- jelly beans separated by flavor, old school sodas, holiday themed gift baskets and other fun candy

Occasionally my co-worker will go by and get our tin refilled. I am ADDICTED to Poppa Corn, especially the dill flavor! If I lived in the neighborhood, I would be there at least weekly! I just wish they delivered.

If you want to feel like a kid in a candy store then this is the place to be. With a wide variety of candy, soda, and popcorn you'll definitely want to try everything. The best thing about the place is absolutely the customer service. The owner truly knows his stuff about popcorn, you can just tell by the passion and excitement in his voice when he describes a flavor of popcorn. This is the epitome of mom and pop shop. Will be back for sure and I'm not a big sweets guy.

Walking distance from my house? Dangerous! We stopped in on a Saturday and tasted a number of popcorn flavors before settling on Mac & Cheese and Birthday Cake. We seriously devoured them in just two days. This popcorn is legitimately delicious. The owner was super friendly and the candy stock is great - perfect for a gift or for a movie night. We will become regulars here, no doubt.

My fiancé and I have been here three times now, tried almost all of the flavors, and have nothing but great things to say! The employees are very friendly, always greet us when we arrive, and you can try any flavor you want before buying anything. We bought some popcorn as family Christmas gifts as well and the family all agreed, this is great popcorn! Great flavor selection and great service, definitely worth stopping by.

I have the caramel drizzle (caramel popcorn with white and mill choc drizzle) and salt & vinegar popcorn. The owner is really nice and friendly and there's lots of nostalgic, hard-to-find candy. I truly felt like a kid in a candy store!

Great neighborhood spot with delicious popcorn at a good price. We tried dill pickle and the Kirkwood mix, which is sea salt caramel mixed with beer cheese. I will definitely return to try more flavors and maybe pick up some candy or unique sodas for a treat!

Walked to this little corner store from my daughter's house in Kirkwood. Their popcorn is so delicious, so many great flavors! Now, we will serve it as a midnight snack at my daughter's wedding in June. It's festive and fun.

Today was my first time coming here, and they definitely have a returning customer. Super clean and nostalgic when you walk in. You are greeted with tons of candy, jelly beans, licorice, etc and friendly staff. I got the mini bag of popcorn which was actually a good size for around $3! I got cheesecake flavor and it was perfect. It was sweet but not too sweet and it actually tasted like cheesecake. Will be returning for more !

We got three bags as a gift from Poppa Corn's and they were delicious! I'm a popcorn fan and really liked their flavors. We tried 'Fried Pickles', 'Parmesan Garlic' and 'Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt'. All three were great and I found the flavors to be very authentic compared to their names. If we lived closer, we would definitely be by again sooner! We will stop there next time we are in town.

Love it! Really cool vibe. Like an old candy shop. The staff was friendly and patient as we tried a dozen different pop corn flavors. It was tough to decide. So we ended up with four different flavors! The pop corn was fresh, big and fluffy! It was obvious that it was made in house and not shipped in, like some stores. We will definitely be back!!

The popcorn is delicious and I got to sample some flavors before I purchased. The blackberry popcorn was delightful. There are so many flavors to choose from it is hard to pick just one so I picked three! Caramel Toffee Almond, Chicago Style (caramel/cheddar mix), and Blackberry/Strawberry mix. The candy assortment was good too. We also got to see Poppa Corn! Now I am ready for my Netflix and chill night.

This place is so cute and the owner is extremely nice! They offer a variety of flavored pop corn. There's a lot to choose from! They give samples so you can try things and pick something you like. There is a huge variety of sizes so if you want a variety you can get a bunch of different small bags for 2.50ish a piece. You can also get massive bags if that's your thing and you know what you like! They also sell every variety of jelly bean known to man and a ton of different old school candy bars and assorted candies/taffies. This is a great place to buy a quick gift :) support your local Edgewood small business owner!! Really like this place a lot :)

This place is amazing. I came across poppa corn one day because I was craving Chicago style popcorn. This place has every flavor of popcorn, plus it's a candy store with tons of old school candies. My kids and I love this place. When you go, make sure u sign up for their rewards points program. You earn a point for every dollar you spend! Totally worth it! Every visit I've gotten something for free!

I have been looking for another gourmet popcorn shoppe since my local shoppe closed down. Great customer service and great popcorn flavors. In addition to gourmet popcorn there are many old fashioned and novelty candy options.

Found this cool, unique store on a roadtrip from Chicago to Atlanta. So many flavors of popcorn to choose from, all freshly made in store. (There's a peep window into the popping room.) After trying a couple samples, I left with several bags as the prices were conducive to trying out various flavors. My husband loved the beer cheese and Parmesan garlic. My absolute favorites were the dark chocolate salted and salted caramel. Omg, killer good! The store also has a wide selection of bulk candy (jelly bellies, Swedish fish, etc.), and a bunch of cool nostalgic candy items, all with decent pricing. Love that you can make your own gift baskets with any combination of popcorn and candy. They have popcorn tins, too, which can be filled with any flavor(s). We stopped here again on our way home to load up with gifts for friends who were watching our house while we were away. And, of course, I had to reload my personal stash of salted chocolate and salted caramel. It was so fun to watch several kids in the store who were excited to select their own flavors and fill candy bags. Kudos to the very friendly staff who helped me with selections. Tip...if you are going to order a lot, it's probably best to call ahead as they bag everything as it is ordered. Popcorn is not pre-packaged.

I love this place! They have about 100 flavors of popcorn, and the ones I have tried so far have been really good. The popcorn is well coated, and extremely crispy, and the pricing is very reasonable - a minibag of most flavors is 2.95 and is more than enough to snack on for a day or two. Sizes go all the way up to gigantic XXL bags that I could only imagine using for a fundraiser or a large party. So far I have tried caramel, confetti, and sour cream and chive. Caramel was great and crispy, the sour cream and chive was delicious and had a strong flavor. The confetti is mixture of about 8 different candied flavors, and the best 2 are the light blue (coconut) and dark blue (blueberry- which tastes just like booberry cereal). The yellow flavor seems to be banana and tastes like a banana runt, I didn't care for that flavor at all. Overall I love that this place opened, it's very unique, and I plan to stop in for a minibag or two on my way to the movies every week - they are the perfect size for concealing in a coat pocket to sneak into the theatre :)
