Poppy's Bagels

Doesn’t deserve its 1.9 stars in my experience 😂 quick to be seated, quick to be waited on, food came out hot & actually really good (got the breakfast burrito + tots). I’d probably switch to bacon instead of sausage if I did it again but overall can’t complain about anything.

Early morning flight and looking forward to a pleasant breakfast. Unfortunately we did not find it here. The bacon, two strips, was hard as a rock and the scrambled eggs tasted like an omelet broken into pieces. I had to request fresh bacon. The avocado spread was oxidized and dark in color.amd the coffee not good. The waiter was pleasant.

Almost $25 just to watch one of the cooks eat the fruit he was preparing for me—with zero regard for ethics or food safety. You can see everything from the outside—come on! The worst part is that other employees in the kitchen were witnessing this and didn’t even say anything to the young man. SMH!

A place for quick bites at Lagardia airport. Didn’t really like the egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Tater tots were good. Coffee was regular. Service was good and prompt. Prices were reasonable too compared to other breakfast places at airport.

Surprisingly a great food outlet in LGA Terminal C by gate 80s. And the crispiest potato tots I’ve had for breakfast. Servers are efficient and attentive. Love the multiple TVs and full bar concept. Air travel is stressful!

Reading other reviews made me think things have changed because I haven’t had to deal with any waiter. They use OTG app and there’s a QR for each seat. I sat and ordered from my phone, the order came right away to my table. I took a plain bagel Avocado, turkey egg and cheese and it was very tasty. On the expensive side but it is expected since it’s in the gates area literally steps before boarding.

The was decent the bagel was dry and the egg wasn’t seasoned properly. But the tots were good. I felt the place was unhygienic because I saw them using the same spatula for meat and just regular food and for me as a vegetarian I didn’t like it.

I sat down here exhausted at 5:47am awaiting my flight to cabo. For context, I am writing this review from seat 31B, touching elbows with two strangers. We are bonded forever. Big shoutout to Delta though, I bleed Delta blue. Poppys bordered my departure gate, and the menu looked decent enough for airport food so I decided to pull the trigger. You sit down and scan the menu and order on your phone, without interacting with a waiter. Interesting. I got Turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, wheat toast, and star shaped tater tots. I can't lie, the star shaped tots were a nice touch. Brought me back, now I want dino nuggets. The turkey bacon was ice cold by the time it got to me, but the eggs were suprisingly tasty and hot. For cutlery, they gave me a stainless steel fork but a plastic knife. This really confused me this early in the morning, but I persevered like all great champions must. Had a bite before catching a flight here since they do have seating and it was just ok. Airport prices are always ridiculous and the food is usually not that great. I shared a turkey, egg, cheese and avocado with my sister and two iced coffees and paid $32. The good thing is the sandwich came with tater tots which were a bit too greasy. The bagel itself was not toasted and did not have the usual bagel texture, it had more of regular bread texture. The iced coffee was actually the best thing about the meal. It was strong and did not have a lot of milk which I hate when there is so much milk. Don't have super high expectations for this place. Will not be eating here again.

Disappointing airport food...half a bagel with a smear of cream cheese. Bagel was dry and cost almost $20 .

Bagel is not a delicious one like what you think you'd get in NY. It's not a bad spot to grab something to eat but it's just average. The menu and pay is online via QR code for convenience. The pineapple juice is nothing special and tastes out of a can.

Delicious bagel and for an airport restaurant the seats were very comfy, the tables were very clean and the service was excellent. They were serving poppy's bagels in a variety of different ways, all delicious and with fresh hot crispy tater tots. The food came out pretty fast and nicely presented. Overall nothing but good things to say for this airport cafe!

Not good. Tastes like stale frozen grocery store bought bagels and the eggs are flavorless. Additionally it's card only with no way to get a receipt even if you put your email or phone number in; don't expect to ever see your receipt. Customer service is also dreadful. They lack empathy or a drive to help you in any way. I'd suggest avoiding this spot.

Delicious quick bites at La Guardia airport. I got the sesame turkey breakfast sandwich with tots. Quick and affordable

Service was sweet but they were out of half the bagels offered, and didn't have ham for the breakfast sandwiches. I didn't love the ordering style but it's new gen post covid...

Super helpful and friendly one of the waitresses helped my mom and I order today we were super tired from our flight I think her name was Cynthia would definitely recommend

Fast with the food but...Because I ordered from take out line they would not let me sit down to eat. All the seats were open but they would not let us sit.

SLOOOOOW service. Good thing I had extra time for my flight. Asked for onion bagel, got garlic. Bagel wasn't cut in half and as a New Yorker, that's a minor crime of sorts. And expensive. Do better.
