Port and Park Bistro & Bar

I’ve walked past Port & Park a hundred times and decided to give it a try for dinner! Their menu has a wide variety of food and it was hard to choose because everything looked so good. I went with their Shrimp Risotto Special and it was very good! The risotto and shrimp had very unique but tasty flavors. The outside patio is very cute and felt peaceful despite being right next to Irving Park. I would love to go back another time for brunch or appetizers!

The Port and Park Bistro & Bar is a two-sided bar and restaurant combo; one side has the bar with seating options and the other side has the restaurant with more seating options. Reservations are recommended for both sides. The staff was very kind and helpful, the atmosphere nice and homey, giving a comfortable vibe; and the food was great and filling. I definitely recommend a visit!

I’ll ask again - why did I wait so long to come here? Passed it a million times and thought it was cute but never stopped in. So glad I did. Their happy hour is excellent! $8 for select apps and then wine for $7 and $8 classic cocktails. Excellent food! Their bartender Tommy is amazing and imparts the best customer service and conversation. Will be coming here for dinner soon and maybe brunch! Check this spot out!

Why did l wait so long to come here? Such a great place in the neighborhood. Delicious food, comfortable ambiance, and wonderful friendly service. Vito is the best! It makes such a difference to feel genuinely welcomed. Glad l didn’t just walk by today and finally came in!

My best friend and I came to visit Chicago this weekend and came to the Port & Park Bistro and it didn’t disappoint. We had heard that Chicago was known for their food and the Port & Park proved that. We came from brunch and had bottomless mimosas and our service was phenomenal. The food came out and we were even more pleased. It was amazing! The food for both of us was SO good. I got the avocado toast, she got the california frittata, and we shared chocolate chip pancakes. As someone who normally doesn’t care enough to leave reviews for places, I had to for this place because it was genuinely so good! Definitely come for brunch if you are visiting!!!!!

Had the last reservation for Chicago restaurant week and it didn't disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed the lentil soup, P.E.I mussels, middle eastern burrata, lamb chop, shrimp and grits + dessert. Thank you Port and Park, we'll definitely be back. Service was great, Kelsey was awesome! Thank you.

Port and Park Bistro offers a fantastic dining experience with a menu full of delicious options. I had the pleasure of trying their steak and fries, which were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Another standout was the Moroccan couscous salad, a refreshing and vibrant dish that paired beautifully with the rest of the meal. There was a small hiccup with my order as they initially forgot to include the salmon with my salad. However, the owner personally apologized, cooked the salmon quickly, and even brought out a complimentary appetizer while I waited. That level of service really made the experience special and showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, the food was excellent, and the attentive service made it a great evening. Highly recommend!

Great place, great food and great service! My wife and I started with a delicious Manhattan and a glass of wine. I ordered the Chicken Milanese which was out of this world. My wife had shrimp tacos that she could not stop talking about. To Top it off, we had Mike the fantastic bartender! He was terrific from the moment we sat down at the bar. He was very welcoming, personable and provided outstanding service. We're looking forward to our next meal there.

Another amazing Friday at Port & Park Bistro! I was a little hesitant about the happy hour prime rib burger. But boy was I wrong! It was a gourmet tasting burger with a b very fresh soft bun for $8! The Founders Rubaeus (Nitro) was so tasty, I drank three glasses:) The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. I'm in the neighborhood and will make this my go to spot for quick Friday/weekend bites and drinks. Speaking of drinks, check out their cocktail menu! Yummy.

Came for brunch w grandson. We had the mimosa flight. Wow 5 different juices and a bottle of champagne. A nice way to try the combinations. I had the chilaquiles. One of the best ones I've had. Crispy chips. And huge portion with green chili sauce. Portion was large. I couldn't finish the whole thing. The service was outstanding.

This was our last stop for restaurant week 2024!!! We had 2 different brunch spots booked and ended up deciding on this restaurant over the other. Went with this restaurant cause we wanted to try a restaurant in the different neighborhood. So often our default is eating in Fulton market or West Loop, so wanted to try something different. Awesome value for $25 to have brunch, dessert and a cocktail. This establishment has been a part of this neighborhood for a significant period of time. The owner (Steve) was present to and jumped right in with servicing the brunch time rush. It was definitely very busy from 11 AM until about 12:15. Once the establishment got there groove on regarding brunch things started to roll out pretty promptly. For food I got the grits and shrimp brunch item. That was definitely tasty and filling. The quality of the grits were definitely better than most. 4 drinks I got a glass of Prosecco which was chilled perfectly. Additionally I got a Greek liquor Spritz, named Ionia Mastika Spritz. Both drinks were really good and refreshing, I would come back for happy hour as they have some deals. I could see this place being really cute with the patio open during summer. All in all a very enjoyable time, I will say that they have 2 separate areas a bar and dining area. We sat in the dining area and it was very acoustic.

A group of us came in after we did the Chicago Hot Chocolate Run. Mike was absolutely perfect. The espresso martinis were on point! The burger with truffle fries hit hard as well! We will definitely be back!

Don't Walk... Run!!!! To Port & Park!! This New Menu Item - Stuffed Potato is to die for!!! I actually ordered a 2nd Plate and took my Delicious Special of the Month - Dijon Chicken w/Potatoes dinner home!!! (Which is also a 10!!! Every meal here is absolutely delicious!!! If you haven't been, this wonderful place is a must!! From the amazing owners to the awesome staff!!!!

What an awesome bar in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. J can always judge a great bar by how they operate during the day. Port and Park was a great afternoon visit for us. We were having a few drinks before taking the Red Line into Chinatown for dinner. Very nice on the inside. Laid-back vibe. Not divey by any means, and everyone knows how much I love dive bars. Awesome service! The bartender on this afternoon was nice and fast. They weren't busy. I had a really nice lighter beer and then had a bruiser of a beer called Sidewalk Surfer. It was good and strong. The food here looked really good as well, although we didn't eat. Finished up and headed for the trains. Port and Park is definitely a bar I'd like to visit again.

Enjoyed brunch here! Service was great, food was nothing crazy but pretty good, price wasn't too bad. It was weirdly confusing to get in, as the front door is not in use and you need to go around to a side door, but other than that no complaints.

A fun and lively neighborhood spot! Went recently with a group for brunch and had a great experience. Staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly even with our large party size. The mimosas were solid and the bulk of the menu was definitely reasonably priced by Chicago standards. Everything looked delicious and it was difficult to decide what to order! After much internal debate, I ordered the avocado toast and was really impressed by how fresh the ingredients were and how well the dish's components were cooked. I was excited by the intriguing combo of pesto and herbed cream cheese, but wished that those toppings were more heavily applied as the flavors were lost a bit. I will definitely be back to try some of the sweet menu which looked fantastic! Overall, this is a very solid brunch spot that I would recommend to anyone.

I recently went here while in town visiting a friend. I got the Bloody Mary and it was okay, would get it spicy next time. I also ordered the vegan tacos and those were really good. I'm not vegan but it sounded interesting with a vegan chorizo. It was two tacos with a green salsa and French fries. All of it was really good. The tacos were seasoned really great. The atmosphere was neat and decorated for Halloween. The service was good as well!

My spouse and I had a nice quick dinner here on a weekday evening. We ate in the rear dining room, which was very nice. Our waiter was very friendly and competent- a real professional. I had an excellent blonde ale on tap. We decided to economize so we had sandwiches for dinner. My wife liked her burger. I thought the gyros were OK and tasty, but not spectacular. The fries were limp and a little too greasy, but they had a good flavor. It's a friendly neighborhood place and based on this visit I'd rank the service and atmosphere higher than the food, but I probably need to try the entrees or the popular brunch.

If you're looking for a new brunch spot, this is the place! $17 bottomless mimosas that were truly bottomless during our time at Port and Park! Our server Michael was phenomenal and very attentive with the refills and checking in to see if we needed anything. Two of us ordered the Ultimate PNP Omelet and it was ah-mazing. normally I'm not a huge fan of omelets as I find the eggs drown the other flavors however this dish was full of flavor and every bit was rich and delicious. It was suppose to come with toast that never arrived but the dish was so good without it. Our vegan friend, ordered the vegan tacos and said they were delicious. Full of flavor and pretty filling. 10/10 on the service and will definitely be back!

Went for a brunch last weekend with a few friends. Not very crowded Sunday around 11:30 and we were seated inside quickly. The inside was nice but a little on the darker side, especially because we were placed in the far back corner. Our server was friendly and attentive, but I don't have as positive things to say about the food. I ordered the corned beef hash, but it was about the blandest food I've ever gotten from a restaurant. Had to dunk it in Ketchup and salt for it to have any real flavor. Another friend got the Benedict and was not impressed as well. The only plates we did like were the chicago skillet, lemon ricotta pancakes, and strawberry French toast. 5 stars for the service but 2 stars for the food given the price. Not sure I'll be coming back.

Recently, this has been my go-to for brunch. They have great service and an extensive menu of brunch options, ranging from savory to sweet and traditional lunch. During my past few visits, I've ordered the Denver omelet, which came with home fries. I've also had the Park Double Burger, which comes with lettuce, tomato, and a side of fries. Overall, it is a consistent brunch spot that offers great service, ability to seat groups, and a large menu.

We stopped in here for happy hour on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise! Good deals for a Saturday. We were very pleased with all of our food!

This was a reasonably priced place with a varied menu. The three of us had the pork chop, the salmon, and the fish and chips. I had the fish and chips, which was the least good choice. Delicious breading and fries, but the fish itself wasn't great, and neither was the tartar sauce. The salmon was deemed excellent, and the pork chop very good. Service was friendly and attentive, with water glasses refilled without asking. We got a parking spot right out front, which was a bonus. Our friend/host told us that she rarely has a problem with parking there. I wouldn't avoid going back, but I'm not dying to, either. A nice choice in the neighborhood.

Fun place for brunch in a great location- recommend for game days! Bottomless mimosas were great.

Went here during Restaurant Week. Very disappointed. We were seated and then ignored. Table was awful. Of course we were punished because we were a twosome. Finally found someone to pay attention to us. Asked for coffee which when was brought was cold. Food was prepared nicely but was also very tepid. And it is so noisy. Too expensive for nothing.

Love this place for brunch. The service is top notch, food is great. We love it and our kids love it.

Port and Park Is a lovely corner restaurant that is busy but never feels cramped. It's spacious and the music is at the optimal level to enjoy brunch. The food is pretty good and depending on the bartender, they make delicious mock tails. They also have homemade lemonade that is also pretty good. I give it 4/5 stars because this is the 2nd time I've come and the order arrived not as ordered. We each ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and both arrived with fried chicken. I let the runner know as soon as he brought it and he said that he wouldn't take the food but would bring us the chorizo on the side asap. After 10 minutes, there was no chorizo, so decided to eat what we had before it got too cold. It never came and there was never any acknowledgment about it. Overall, I would return. Food and service is solid.

Cute brunch spot we came to one Sunday. They had a good mimosa kit package so that was a win for us. We were able to get bottomless mimosas and our choice of juice. For breakfast I had the Chicago skillet and I was still hungry after, so I ordered the chicken strips and fries. Both were VERY delicious. Service was prompt and they kept the mimosas coming. Our cups were NEVER empty.

Cute spot! Went with friends for a birthday brunch and they can definitely accommodate groups. Took them a few minutes to seat us though! I ordered the chicken and waffles, which were okay! It was cold, so I feel like I didn't get the true experience, but it wasn't bad! I'd rate it a 3.5/5! Now the mimosas... we were expecting to get way more juice lol. Our mimosa kit came with a few bottles and then a CUP OF ORANGE JUICE, and then 3 cans of other juices... it was underwhelming lol. Nice staff though!

My party came here for brunch on a Sunday and we sat outside. The food here was delicious! I had the berries French toast with a side of sausages. The French toast was very good with a good amount of berries. The maple syrup was also warm! My only alteration would have been for slightly thicker bread, it was a tiny bit flat/thin to me. Otherwise very good though. The sausages were also very delicious! The rest of my party also greatly enjoyed all of their dishes as well. Overall highly recommend!

Super cool brunch spot in Uptown! My friend and I went for restaurant week where we spent about $25 on an entree + dessert, as well as an extra $9 for bottomless mimosas. The portions were great and well-worth the price! The staff was super friendly as well. I ordered the eggs benedict for the entree. The sauce on the benedict was amazing with a hint of truffle. The hash on the side was perfectly cooked as well, crispy and not too dry. We also got the dessert, but I forgot what it is called. It's kind of like an empanada with ricotta cheese on the inside and topped with honey and powdered sugar - super good! Definitely check this place out! They have a super cute outdoor seating area and definitely gives off cute family restaurants vibe on the inside. It's right next to the Graceland cemetery as well, so you can brunch and then walk it off at the cemetery!

Went here for restaurant week and enjoyed most of what I had chosen! I started with the cheese curds and who doesn't love friend cheese!! So I recommend that as a starter. I then had the chicken tortilla soup which as a whole was good, but brought out warm, not hot. So I was able to eat most of it before it got cold. The pork was amazing for dinner! It was really juicy and cute perfectly. Last was the tiramisu! That was to does for. I wish the piece was bigger! 100% will return!

I don't know what happened to this place but the brunch was gross. The food was subpar and took such a long time to arrive at our table. Our waiter seemed miserable and would barely communicate with us. Their brunch cocktail list is minimal, and when I asked for an alternative drink, was simply told "no" without any other recommendations of something similar. The juice we ordered came 3/4 full each time and the tables have these cheap, uncomfortable stools that feel like you're eating at a fast food place. They also crammed everyone there for brunch into the main bar area despite having another room, so it was packed, super loud and difficult to even get up without running into people. Would not recommend.

3.5/5 Definitely a cute place for brunch and good service. The folks who greeted us were super welcoming. Had the chilaquiles and beignets - Chilaquiles 4.5/5 - these were delicious - the chorizo is a must. Definitely tasted like homemade fried tortillas - diff than tortilla chips to me per se bc they have more crunch and sometimes a double layer, so they definitely made that right - some places get lazy and use premade. Beignets - honestly really disappointed- these were super tough - good beignet I expect to be soft and fluffy - this was like tough bread - the outside was over cooked for sure - more like a tough crusty bread than a fried pastry... My buddy ordered the tacos and apparently didn't like them so much they didn't touch their food. I think ideally someone would've checked in on how they liked the food given they didn't touch it but they didn't want to make a big deal about it. So maybe...don't order those?

So here is another discovery for not only brunch but a variation on a theme for bottomless mimosas. So two things made this visit a winner for me, the menu and the mimosa kit for 4 (four juices and 2 bottles of sparkling wine plus $10 for additional bottles). Brunch is absolutely my favorite meal and food group, so I am always happy to find new places to satisfy that need and Port and Park hit that sweet spot. I ordered my tried and true, Chilaquiles, but with a twist....fried chicken. That was interesting and tasty. The Queen and I split the Berry Compote French Toast (stuffed with vanilla mascarpone and topped with berry compote and crunchy granola). No syrup was required as far as we were concerned. The Doctor got the Corn Beef Hash and The Queen got Steak and Eggs (her tried and true). Both cleaned their plates with no complaints. The mimosa pack was a winner. The juice situation was four juices in cans and that worked for me. Juices were replaced as needed as well as bottles. Service was great. The woman that waited on us was on top of us as far as making sure we had what we needed and another woman (the owner I believe) stopped over a couple of times to check on us as well, which was ver nice. The only SNAFU was after the meal. I made a reservation through OpenTable and when I arrived, I did check in at the host station. But I found out later in the day that the host had not checked me through OpenTable. I love OpenTable and they are on point with following up, so I got an email after the meal about the fact that I had not checked into the restaurant. I was able to follow up with OpenTable to let them know that I had not flaked on my reservation. OpenTable responded back that same day to let me know that they did check with Port and Park that we were in attendance, so no harm, no foul and I have already made a reservation to go back with the fam and my BFFs.

Really loved our experience at Port & Park! The restaurant is located on the corner of Southport & Irving Park (hence the name), but despite being on the corner of a busy street, the patio seating is nestled off Southport and is surprisingly quiet. There are bistro lights strung above the patio space and it feels very cute and quaint. Also: dog friendly ;) Our server was a delight and so accommodating. We started with cheese curds and fried calamari (we did NOT come to watch our figures). From that point on I knew this place was going to be a winner. The curds were served with a jam which was SO good and complimented the flavors perfectly. Why have I never had cheese curds with jam? Seriously elevated the entire experience. Calamari was tasty too, though the breading is super delicate so we had to be careful picking it up to make sure we didn't drop it in the sauce. For the main course, I went with the burger. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The flavor was so good that I can only assume it's char grilled. It's a double patty burger and has bacon, aioli, tomatoes, and caramelized onions on it. Needless to say, it's huge and will get you through lunch the next day too. Fries it came with were crispy. My date ordered the fish n chips and as a self proclaimed fish n chip connoisseur, I was a bit worried. But he LOVED it and is already talking about coming back. Kicking ourselves for not visiting Port & Park sooner!

Port and Park has quickly become my go to place when I want outdoor sitting or meeting up with friends. I have visited the restaurant three times in the month of July! I love that you can make reservations so easily on Yelp and they also have enough sitting that you can find as table (depending on the size of your group). I have seen them quickly accommodate a large group of six plus on a Sunday after 1pm. I came with a party of four on a Sunday during peak brunch hours and easily got a sit. They do recommend you calling ahead if you have a party of six. They offer outdoor sitting and indoor sitting. They have a few tables that are by the windows so if you aren't 100% with dining inside just yet that is an option. The staff is very friendly and I've seen the owners around the few times I've been. The owners seem to be committed to making sure customers are enjoying themselves. They are also following some moderate COVID practices since the city fully opened up i.e. offering hand sanitizer, spaced out tables, limited capacity, etc. I've had the brunch twice and dinner once and haven't been disappointed. Port and Park does not play about their mimosas. The champagne to OJ ratio will make you asking for a little more OJ. I would highly recommend getting the bottomless mimosas but it does require a purchase of an Entree. The menu is a classic American style menu. It kind of all over the place, they offer hamburgers to chilaquiles to bagel and lox. I've been to the restaurant with different groups during my past three visits and they seem to offer something for everyone. The pancakes unbelievably delicious. It's one of the dishes that I will not past up if visit during a time that they offer them. The prices align with Lakeview prices but some dishes are smaller than expected such as the Chicago skillet but the Park Burger will easily give you two meals. I would highly recommend checking out Port and Park especially for the brunch!

Absolute gem of restaurant within walking distance of the Music Box Theatre! Our film ended earlier than expected, and we couldn't get an earlier table at the Italian place I'd booked in advance. But a quick call to this lovely spot and they sat us straight away! No wait at all, even in a busy day with an street fair and a Cubs game! I was able to score some fantastic vegan tacos that came with a surprise side of delicious fries! Generous portions, all very flavorful. I ordered the Mango Tango cocktail and it was perfect. The outdoor seating was comfortable and thankfully covered, as it started to rain. Service was perfect. Friendly snd helpful, timely but not too present. It was just right!

Picked this spot on a whim for drinks after work and loved the experience! Service was spot on- friendly and attentive. We were celebrating a few birthdays and they even brought out a sampler plate of desserts, complete with candles. My dog was so welcomed and even got a milkbone treat, which he gobbled right up. If you're looking for good drinks, comfortable atmosphere, and bomb bites, this is it.

Port and Park has a trendy location with good food, but the service is disorganized and at times made us feel uneasy. I visited Port and Park for brunch on a Sunday morning in a group of six. Upon arriving, I entered the main door near the bar area. I was asked if I had a reservation and after sharing the name, was told by the bartender that I was the first in my party to arrive and asked where I wanted to sit. I chose to sit on the other side of the restaurant and to my surprise found some of my party sitting and waiting at a table already. Our waiter stopped by and asked if we wanted to start drinks and we asked for a few minutes to look through their touch-free menu. Two more in our party arrived five minutes later and our waiter stopped by again. We asked for a few more minutes to decide and solidified what we each wanted to order in the next four minutes. Approximately 20 minutes after that we started to get a little antsy and look around for our waiter. We met eyes with the bartender and he came over and took our drink order. We felt a little relieved until the waiter came to take our drink order 20 minutes later and we let him know the bartender already had. He began to walk away when we asked him if it was okay that we still order food. He started at one end of the table, but one of my friends asked if he could start at the other end and our waiter said "No, we're going to start at this end" in a terse tone. We were all a little uneasy at that point, but ordered. I chose the eggs Benedict. A few minutes later, the waiter brought our drinks and let us know that he couldn't believe the bartender didn't put the drink order in and he had to do it. We again felt uneasy as we didn't want to get involved. The food was good and came out quickly. I loved the creamy sauce over the English muffin and crispy potatoes on the side. I was also happy to see masks being worn by staff. We didn't see our waiter again for another hour until we flagged him down via the food runner to ask for the check. Unfortunately, this also meant the bottomless mimosas my friends ordered turned into one mimosa at the start and another they had to flag down via another waiter, which wasn't a great value. We don't see ourselves coming back unless we heard from others that the service had gotten better, which is a shame because the food was pretty good and the bottomless mimosas seemed promising.

Tried Port and Park Bistro for the first time last night and it was great! We were craving a burger and the lure of PandP's two for one burger coupon brought us in. It was beautiful Saturday night, and the Cubs were playing, so we were surprised that the restaurant was not busy at 8:30pm. We were able to get seated right away in their outdoor dining area. Although the host seemed to be more interested in his phone than acknowledging me and another customer waiting to be seated, the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress was delightful, and several times during the evening, other people checked in to see how we were doing. To start our meal, we ordered the watermelon salad...a delicious combination of watermelon, frisée, mint, cucumber, pickled onion and feta cheese. It was huge and filling. I ordered a Blue Mojito cocktail and it was pretty and refreshing. We both ordered burgers and they were absolutely delicious...moist and flavorful. I had nice house cut fries with my burger; my husband had a side of green beans and squash. All in all a wonderful experience with delicious food, pleasant service and in a comfortable surrounding. I highly recommend Port and Park.

Had a great restaurant week meal here! A friend and I visited Port and Park, and if you've been to SIP (it's previous name) the inside will feel very familiar to you. I've always loved the separation of bar and dining room areas, so if you want more of an upbeat vibe or a laid back atmosphere, you can come to one place that caters to both. Staff were very friendly and welcoming! We had the following selections from their restaurant week menu: cheese curds, burrata, tortilla soup, French onion soup, stuffed chicken, pork chop, tiramisu, and flourless chocolate cake. The only criticism we had were that the soups were pretty underwhelming and bland and we would probably pick something else next time. The stuffed chicken was an absolute standout! The flavors were so delicious and there was such an awesome ratio of protein, vegetables, and potatoes. The dessert was awesome but if you don't love very rich, decadent chocolate then the chocolate cake may not be for you. The tiramisu was so lovely and something we would get on our return. We're excited to return to try their brunch menu in the future!

Decent food, bad service, overall not worth it. Went with a party of 5 -- ordered brunch and food took over 50 minutes to come out -- they apologized for the wait but didn't do anything else. Others tables food came out before ours because, "they were just a 3 top so all of their food was easier to run faster because we have to time all of your dishes"... weird excuse when we ordered 15 minutes ahead of them. After getting food the server checked back around 10 minutes in and said "was the food worth the wait?" Which was an odd way of making light of their service error. Then asked the my friend who got the steak and eggs if her steak was cooked correctly -- she asked for medium and it came out well done -- she politely said it's over but it's not a big deal as she had already been eating it for 10 minutes. He then argued and said it was medium and she just doesn't know what medium looks like because "there should barely be a touch of pink in a medium steak".... Ok man then why ask? She didn't even prompt to complain. Then he dropped the check and told us gratuity was automatically applied -- a bit weird because i didn't see it on the menu listed anywhere -- but ok. Seemed off as we're were just a party of 5 -- I think he did it because he was afraid we wouldn't tip on the service. Of course 20% is the minimum anyone should give but I was surprised we never really got any sort of apology or table touch by a manager for some good will. Definitely don't recommend and wouldn't go back.

Made a dinner reservation here for a group of friends on a Friday night and was very disappointed about the service. We arrived on time to our reservation and there wasn't a single staff member at or near the host stand for 15 mins. My group of 7 people was standing there crowding the space with no host in sight. When we finally got seated we were told that they were busy so the service might be slow, it wasn't super crowded for 8pm on a Friday night either. We had nothing on our table until water jugs came 20 mins later (with no cups so we just sat there staring at water jugs). We ordered 3 sangria pitchers that came out 30 mins after we ordered them, they were pretty good. The most redeeming thing about the night was the food because it was really good (and a great price too - all under $16 per plate). If the food wasn't this good this review would be a 1 star. We spent over 2 hours here and didn't get our main courses until 1 hour and 45 mins in. I don't think I'll ever eat in here again but I might order out because of the good food and the fair prices. Service was awfully slow but they were at least apologetic.

After reading the Yelp reviews, we stopped by Port and Park Bistro while in town for a Cubs game. We just had appetizers, but what we had was sooo yummy. We had the cheese curds which were served with a raspberry dipping sauce and the BBQ wings. Both were delicious. They had the best Bloody Mary ever! Our server/bartender, Michael was fantastic. Great personality. Funny & engaging. Overall, great place! They are known for their brunch and we cannot wait to try it next time we're in town.

Food was solid not spectacular. The service was not the best. Waiter didn't communicate much and would disappear. Didn't feel appreciated as a local customer.

Amazing brunch menu! HUGE variety of food for any taste. Make sure to: 1-make a reservation 2-get a bottomless mimosa 3-skip the herb omelet (it's like a weird pesto-patty mushing around in your mouth) Otherwise, you can't go wrong. The portions are perfect, the service is amazing, and it's a fun and relaxing place to meet. (I had the Chicago skillet and loved it). Cheers!

Updating this review because when a place remains this predictably wonderful it deserves additional accolades. We came for their very cute pajama New Year's Day brunch and as always, the service was attentive, friendly and prompt. The food was, as always, delicious. We brought our 3 year old for the first time and she loved the holiday decorations and lights. I look forward to coming again soon.

Great place for an early-ish family dinner (2 early teens) with diverse menu selection both in variety and amongst apps, handhelds, salads, mains. A good compact selection of beers, with several cocktails I would have liked to try. Service was excellent - although attentiveness did slightly lag as the place filled up. Cozy atmosphere - but tables well spaced out. Prices are reasonable compared to many that charge a bit more since it's Chicago. Will definitely come back. Looking forward to warm weather and their sidewalk patio.

I had been here once for brunch and it was great- about a year later we decided to wing it and try for dinner. Was not in the least bit disappointed. Food was fantastic, service was great, and prices were amazing. Honestly going to work this place into the rotation. Impressed and genuinely excited to come back. A+ experience. Keep up the good work. This place is an asset to the neighborhood.

Port and Park is a great neighborhood restaurant for brunch. All staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. I've been 3 times now and will continue to return. My friends swear by the eggs Benedict with truffle. I'm more of a French toast person myself which is delicious here. The $15 bottomless mimosas are a great plus too. Unlike some places who are too OJ heavy, these are a perfect balance. It's not rowdy like a typical River North bottomless brunch restaurant though. There are families and groups of all ages here.
