Wow! What a calm and colorful place! I happened to come here because I live in hotel nearby and was impressed to realize that there are Farmer’s Market just around the corner. The market is hosted in the beautiful very relaxing park nearby. You can find here many vendors selling fruits and vegetables, bread and pastry, salami and nuts. Many stands with fresh flowers add a certain beauty and vibe. I was very happy to find red currants here. The variety of fruits and berries is splendid. This market runs on Mondays to Wednesdays till 2:00 pm. And then vendors start to pack, so if you still come at 2:10pm you can find a good deal here. There are also few stations of cooked food vendors nearby, so you can enjoy having a tasty meal sitting one one of plenty of wooden benches in the park. Park is wide and have two alleys with many benches to sit on. The shade is provided by crowns of very leafy and tall trees. I also happened to witness a wedding this afternoon, that was a very romantic touch! All the busy life in this oasis was accompanied by a gorgeous saxophone music done by Edward English! I’d definitely recommend you to stop by the Portland Farmer’s Market and check it out!

Lots of fresh produce and friendly vibes. Picked up some cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cherries and pickles.

Much smaller than my imagination. Is it bigger on other days of the week? Still a cool place to visit. They have a brick pizza oven food truck. So cool.

Great farmers market for mid-week. This one is fraction of the Saturday market but is still full of beautiful farmers market produce and spoke really good ready to eat food. The setting is green, lush, with refreshing cool air. There was a concert when we went, which really asked the atmosphere. .

Plenty of booths to stop at for baked goods, fresh fruits, and several options for food. The tamales stand in particular was stellar.

What are delightful farmers market located right in a bit of the city. The food vendors were wonderful and unique. The produce was very vibrant and delightful. There was music that was very calm and soothing. The vibe was very good and people were super friendly. I had not realized that they had set up picnic tables for people to eat and so we decided to sit along the art institute.
