Portobello Juice Cafe

It’s hard to find a home away from home…i mean a cafe away from home. The juice cafe has been my go to healthy takeaway for years. This place wouldn’t be as great, if they didn’t have a good owner and amazing employees. I just wanted to share this with everyone, this is definitely a place you want to add to your cafe list.

Ordered two lentil soups from them and got this nasty vegetable soup. I’m here adding seasoning to it. I’m sick and was looking forward to the lentil soup. They should’ve asked me if I was okay with substituting the lentil soup with vegetable soup. Highly disappointed.

This place was magic! The best service I’ve experienced in London with superb fresh food, they really are what they say they are. Fresh, organic, beautifully put together menus, juices, smoothies and if you want something different, they will put it together for you 💕💕💕 Make sure you get your butt down here as soon as you can!

The quaternity of eggs, meticulously crafted into an omelette, exhibited an acceptable culinary performance. Nevertheless, the culinary symphony could have achieved greater harmonious heights had the onions undergone a more extended culinary voyage before their integration into the omelette. Their raw introduction left an ephemeral, yet perceptible, aftertaste that detracted from the overall gustatory experience. In juxtaposition to this, it is worth noting that a verdant accompaniment, reminiscent of the depicted tableau, did grace the presentation. A delightful divergence, however, surfaced in the realm of fruit selection – a culinary triumph that deserves unreserved commendation. The pancake ensemble, while commendable in flavor, bore a subtle hint of aridity, a characteristic that could potentially be attributed to the rigors of transportation and subsequent reheating. It is imperative to commend the gastronomic rendezvous with runny honey, which lent a mellifluous counterpoint to the pancake composition.

This is one of my favorite places to visit when at work. All staff are so lovely and always so welcoming. Not to mention all the tasty smoothies and more 😋 😏. You guys make my day and I always leave with a smile ☺️💞

Previously I had left a short positive review on this place. Unfortunately my last visit ruined my views on this juice bar. I’ve been coming for months now whenever I am in the area about 4 times so far and really liked our visit and drinks the first few times. The juice though pricey was great. Super fresh and unlike any that I tried. I always go for Dr Detox for a gingery drink. But my last server who we saw for the first time, different from our previous visits, was obnoxiously rude when we are asking about potential substitutions and tried charging us extra for it despite it being a substitution due to allergies and not additional fruit/veg. When we explained this he rudely and begrudgingly accepted but made our drinks incredibly watery and truly disgusting I think he overused the celery as I hardly saw any fruit that was taken out of the fridges like our previous super nice server shows us when we go. I came out somewhat lucky as my friends drink was absolutely vomit-like and we sadly couldn’t do anything about it since we were too far driven away. We get large sizes every time since usually it’s super nice but he didn’t put ice in our drinks, which was normal for every other visit of ours, and made it unbearable to drink. I thought having a small menu meant the drinks could be reliably tasty but it’s sad to see despite such a small set drink list that only after 5 visits did we run into quality consistency issues and makes us really doubt going in another time to waste money on watery warm disgusting garbage. I only wish I caught his name so that I could avoid him as it is really a shame since we really liked our previous visits. At the end of the day if you are taking a gamble each time you go for taste then what’s the point of making a detour for this store. Would avoid.

I ordered an açaí bowl takeaway for £13 and was quite disappointed. First, they forgot to add the almond butter I requested. The fruit selection was very limited, and the granola felt stale, with raisins that were hard and unpleasant to eat. The açaí itself tasted overly sweet and diluted compared to other Brazilian açaí places I’ve tried. For the price, I expected much better quality.

Best juice shop in the world—but it’s not just the juice: it’s the way you’re welcomed into their family. They’re genuine people who honestly care about their customers. Drinking juice here is like drinking with your family. Thank you for the love and generosity 💚

I was very lucky to live near Portobello Juice. Their smoothies and juices are super refreshing, and a lovely way to start your day - especially if shopping along Portobello. I've only seen one person working at a time, so it might take a second to get your drink, but they're always busting their a$$ off and super kind. My only regret was never sitting outside to people-watch while they enjoy the market. The Green Machine and Coffee Banana drinks were my fave. ^_^

Got delivery from this place and loved it. The green juice was fantastic the fruit bowl really nicely cut and even distribution of fruit. My fav was the build your own salad could eat this every day and the peanut butter pot was incredible!

This place was incredible! Best omelet I've ever had, good service, nice environment, amazing juices, good vibes! I wish it wasn't thousands of miles away because I'd go regularly otherwise. & by regularly, I mean a few times a week! This is the best juice bar I've ever been to and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend!

Apologies if this sounds like a bit of a rant, but £2.75 for a single shot, watery, boring cappuccino - this is the worst example of Notting Hill style "I saw you coming" rip off. And it took two people to prepare this delicacy. Oh well, one grumpy guy taking the money - he didn't even state the price but placed a bill on the counter without a word - and a slightly less unfriendly woman operating the coffee machine. Avoid, avoid, avoid, at least if you like a decent cuppa. I don't think I'll be back for a juice, having had a similarly average one a while back.

I needed a little break from the hustle and bustle from Portobello Road Markets and happened to stop right in front of this little place. The thing that caught my eye was the cool deck chairs out the front and the words "juice bar". I managed to get a seat out the front and was handed a laminated menu which contained a huge collection of juices. There were sooo many to choose from, i needed more time than the waitress offered. I decided on a beetroot, celery, apple, and ginger juice. It arrived to the table in a massive glass garnished with a slice of beetroot. The juice was super refreshing, and delicious, the only issue i had was that it would have been much nicer served with ice. As the juice was just at room temperature. All in all the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and the drinks were tasty. I would definitely stop by here again if i was in the area.

I moved to the area 6 weeks ago and come here twice a week for the delicious Fit Shake - protein packed and yummy for under £4. I've run into 2 A-list celebrities just sitting in the shop post work out drinking my juices. Would love to keep this place a secret but I need to share

Beautiful decor very friendly staff - amazing vast array of different healthy and I mean seriously healthy stuff on order I had the crazy date - must visit.

A lovely little juice bar! Very cute and all the food smells delicious when you walk in. It was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. I had the carrot, orange, apple, and ginger juice which was really yummy. You could see all the fresh fruit being blended. Would definitely come back to try the food.

The salads here were amazing. The fact that you can mix and match as many choices is great for people like me who can't decide what they want. I especially liked the broccoli and chili. I'd definitely come back.
