The biscuits were so good ! We had the vegan avocado and the vegan sausage, egg and cheese biscuits and they were absolutely delicious. The place is usually full for weekend brunch would recommend having a reservation. The patio seating was cozy and cute. Also a good place to go since it caters to vegans and non vegans with more or less the same number of options :)

Tasty food and exceptionally friendly staff. The biscuits and gravy were rich, buttery, and satisfyingly filling. While I wish the sausage had a bit more seasoning, the dish overall was solid. A heads-up—the biscuit portions are massive, so definitely come hungry. The real highlight, though, is the hidden backyard. It feels like a secret garden, giving off vibes of a more spacious city like L.A. Highly recommend this spot for a laid-back brunch with friends!

Egg biscuit was amazing. Biscuit very fluffy, lots of clear layers, top layers had a nice burnt crunch (in a good way, the flavor of that plus the almost undercooked inside was insane) and also ginormous serving that was perfect for someone hungry like I was. The egg and cheese oh my gosh was so good. The chicken sausage was okay, would have liked to order without. The service was not great, pre ordered at 10:30 and wasn’t ready until 10:46 and I had a class, very unprofessional when there was no one else in the restaurant…but the hostess was very nice about it. Overall, I would def order from there again or go sit down for sure. Oh and the side salad that they give you was so good for no reason.

I can't tell you how amazingly delicious the 'biscuits' are! Here in Scotland we call them scones. Post biscuits are ginormous and have a lovely light texture and dreamy creamy flavour. The chicken sausage and gravy are so tasty and hearty. I didn't eat for hours after this! We ate brunch here 3 times when we were visiting NYC for 2 weeks! Really cool and fresh vibe in the restaurant, lovely staff and amazing food! 💯😁🔥

DO NOT MISS COMING HERE FOR BRUNCH!!! The food is absolutely BOMB! The fried chicken biscuit is an absolute must eat and so are the pancakes! The chicken biscuit was huge and so yummy I came back and had to try another variation (choose the fried chicken biscuit over the bacon biscuit). The pancakes are crisp on the outside and mega fluffy on the inside! The huevos racheros are a fan favorite. Great coffee, really great tea, and the mimosas were nice as well. Definitely come here if you even have a thought about it! Both times I made a reservation beforehand as a heads up :-)

I had a lovely breakfast here with my partner. It was such a cozy and intimate dining experience. The staff were welcoming and pleasant throughout our visit. I really enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros served fresh in addition to an order of biscuits and gravy. Total comfort food! I would love to come back again soon.

Such a cute little spot in the East Village! I made a reservation for two a day before and there was plenty of availability for Sunday morning. The vibes of the place were nice and the bar area looked awesome. I had the post breakfast and my friend had the french toast. The post breakfast tasted super fresh. The eggs were cooked well. The portion of the avocado and potatoes were amazing. I think my favorite part though was the charred tomato. We were skeptical of the french toast because it was made with a baguette but the flavors were absorbed well without the bread being too hard or becoming soggy. The blueberries were to die for! The waitress was super nice and though we were there for a while we were never pressured to leave. Definitely check out this spot for brunch!

Dropped by POST for a brunch on Saturday morning. i had heard great things about my friends who lived in LES so I was excited to try it out. The reservation process online was simple enough and I was able to snag a table for four. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. The decor was very modern, cute, and chic. To start, I decided to try the grapefruit mimosa. It tasted as expected and was refreshing. For my main, I went with the sausage biscuit. I usually don't love chicken sausage but I will say, this one tasted like the real deal. However, to me, the breakfast sandwich itself fell a bit flat. Everything was well made but the sandwich was well...basic. There weren't any standout flavors and it was a bit dry. I did put some hot sauce on it, which helped the case, but overall, I was not impressed. The salad on the side, however, was super yummy and I would love to get that again. In summary, POST is a solid brunch place. I just didn't think it was anything overly unique.

Stopped in on a Thurs early afternoon for a quick brunch after an appointment I had in the area. Restaurant and a few patrons. I was greeted quickly and was able to sit in the backyard. Really cute space. I ordered pancakes with a side of eggs and a margarita. The pancakes were delicious and the drink hit the spot. Everyone keeps saying outside is expensive and it is true. My breakfast with tax and tip was about $46.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and both times everything was excellent. First time I had a salad. It was fresh and well dressed. The second time I had the fried chicken biscuit. The biscuit is incredible.

I came here for a late brunch on a Sunday. We sat in their back patio, which was sunny and bright, with string lights and trees. The tables had wooden slat tops. There were pretty big gaps in between the slats and some were uneven, so it was a bit precarious for glasses and utensils. To drink, I had the post champagne cocktail. Despite apparently having rhubarb and bitters in it, to me it just tasted like dry champagne. I still enjoyed it. To eat, I got the avocado biscuit. This was a very filling dish. The biscuit was large and square with about five or six fluffy, flaky layers. It was nicely complemented by the fried egg and avocado. I could've done without the tomato. It was a tiny bit on the dry side so it would've been perfect with a sauce. We did ask for hot sauce and they brought both a red and green option. The red tasted like sriracha and the green was okay, but not very spicy. Overall though, I enjoyed this dish. My sister got the fried chicken biscuit and it was also a generous portion size. We shared the truffle fries. These were crispy and tasty. I enjoyed the rosemary seasoning and accompanying aioli. I wish the parmesan adhered to the fries a bit more. Definitely a good option for brunch.

Psst excuse me!! Was what my friend and I heard while trying to find a place to eat (after walking out of a different place we decided not to try). A random woman on the street suggested "her favorite" Post restaurant. We checked out the menu and headed over. Two guys were holding down the fort lol and doing a great job considering the volume of patrons. Nice music playing in the background and not too loud which I don't like (no one wants to shout at each other while eating). We were seated quickly, 2 glasses and bottle of water was given to us immediately and the menus. It appears the one popular item and what most of the customers ordered were the meals with biscuits. I am not such a biscuit fan but after seeing three plates being bought out I on my next visit might want to reconsider ordering it (the dishes looked really appealing). My friend ordered a burger with fries that looked delectable but sadly I am dieting so I couldn't order the same I selected the hot honey salad. The salad consisted of arugula, pickled onions, yam cubes and a hot honey dressing and let me tell you the dressing was hot a good hot (spicy). Our waiter did tell me the dressing was in fact hot but I didn't believe him.....I think I drank the equivalent of 2 liters of water as my friend laughed at me the entire time lol. Restaurant is brightly lit painted all white and sparsely decorated but they make up for it with freshly made, perfectly spiced quality meals. Everything we ordered from food to drinks was exactly how we asked for.....the service was perfect.

This place is a great spot for brunch! It's a cute little place with a nice patio outside, but since we cane on a super hot day, we decided to sit inside. My friend got blueberry pancakes and I got the vegan avocado biscuit. I liked that it came with a side salad. The portions are pretty large and we were both super full after eating. The service was pretty good and we got our water refilled without asking.

BEST BISCUITS IN TOWN Great breakfast and atmosphere. We waited 30 mins for a table, but so worth it. My sandwich was so big and filling, even the salad you see was flavorful (because of the dressing) We got the pancakes as well and they were actually perfect. Thick and flavorful. This place gets busy and it's hard to get a spot on a weekend brunch hour but will definitely be back!

We had a seat on the back patio on a gorgeous day. ( nothing fancy ) Service was attentive , but lets be clear i'm hear for the biscuits !!!! Unlike most every other restaurant known for breakfast with biscuit sandwiches , we were so excited to finally have someone make the biscuit big enough for the fried chicken and every other form. I loved the bacon, egg and cheese . They were generous with high quality thick cut bacon, my fave . My friends were just as happy with the fried chicken biscuit. And last but not least hot crispy fries .

I went on a Sunday with a res at 11:45 and got the chicken sausage biscuit. The biscuit was incredibly filling and the biscuit itself was delicious, although the side salad was minimal. It was a little cold outside, but the patio was still really cute (bonus: no bugs). It felt like a secret peaceful little paradise in the craziness of the city!The service was great, and we were sat immediately.

Such a cute spot! Love the outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant. It's a nice little escape from the city. The biscuits are incredible. I got the sausage breakfast sandwich but I highly recommend the fried chicken breakfast sandwich (I tried my boyfriend's and it was even better than mine). The servers were very accommodating despite how busy it was and were able to get us a table for 5 people without a reservation.

Was in the neighborhood for a haircut, called this place asking if I can come by for brunch, was told that there were bar seats open or a wait of 30 mins for the table. I walked for 20 mins to get here, walked into the restaurant and asked to put down my name for the table as I was okay with the 30 min wait. Was basically told I could only sit at the bar. I am guessing if my skin color were different, I'd probably have gotten a different answer. If you want to take your money and spend it on this racist and conceited place...sure go for it.

This is a solid brunch spot in East Village. We went on Sunday at 10 am, and there were people already lining up. We had a reservation and I would definitely make one if you're visiting on the weekend. We were sat in the patio, which was cute and they had jazz playing. There were a lot bugs and mosquitos though, as other reviews mentioned. The interior is cutely decorated with date night vibes. I ordered the fried chicken biscuit and it was $16. It's pretty expensive for what you get, but it's filling. The chicken was cooked well and the biscuits were nice and flaky, albeit a little hard. It came with a side salad, but it was almost laughable how big it was. It was maybe 2 bites. Overall, it's a cute place. I probably wouldn't come back as the food isn't particular spectacular or memorable. However, if you're in the area it's worth a try!

Great food! Great host. The ambiance was welcoming and hospitable. The biscuit, sausage and egg was cooked to my liking with a side of crispy bacon. A slam dunk if you looking to endulge one day on breakfast. Especially, if its your favorite meal of the day. I plan on going back for seconds. 4Sho!

POST was a really great spot to grab brunch with friends. We sat in their back garden which was very cute, and more quiet than inside if that's something you care about. Their food was decadent, and we got a feast. We got two orders of the french toast, which was one of the most unique takes on french toast ive ever had. It was basically a deep fried baguette with blueberry compote. Very rich, and something you basically had to split, but amazing in small portions. Got a salad which was good, but I thought there would be more white beans because it was advertised as a white bean salad. And then a chicken biscuit sandwich, which I told was good but the biscuit got a little soggy. We also got an order of fries to split, which came with a yum aioli/mayo. The fries were hit or miss for people, I enjoyed them but my friend just thought they were okay. Depends what you want out of a fry! Great for the vibes and service, and queer owned which is great to support for Pride Month (and all year long of course).

I can't possibly write enough great things about this place, my experience was incredible from start to finish! I was seated quickly on the patio which felt like a secret oasis and was extremely quiet for the city. The atmosphere is clean and modern, but still welcoming with interesting artwork in the bathroom. My server, Nick, was friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure I was enjoying my meal. He told me that they recently started serving dinner and I'm so glad they did! I ordered the salmon which was tender, cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned and served over the best risotto and asparagus I've had in a long time. The best part is that they had a decadent gluten free brownie for dessert. This will now be one of my staples and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

POST is a really cute brunch/light lunch spot that's one of my new favorites. It has a great private outdoor patio space that gets tons of sunlight (the tables are shaded by umbrellas) and there's accommodations for small or large parties. Their matcha latte was not your average, it has ginger blended into it and all of their tea drinks have an interesting flavor profile/creative twist. The almond milk latte was well done too and they have a good selection of your usual brunch cocktails and wine. I had the Avocado Biscuit sandwich (most of the menu is variations of their biscuit sandwich, they are delicious) and it was the perfect bite. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, they even let me stay there for a while to do some work during a busy brunch rush.

Cute little place that is kind of hidden. The server was very nice and very attentive. The place was super casual, seems like a nice down to earth place. You have to try the biscuits. There are so many options, avocado biscuit, pork, fried chicken and more. I got the avocado biscuit which I liked, and it kept me full for the whole day. For drinks they have a lot of teas I want to try next time but my friend got a chai that he said he liked.

My boyfriend and I popped in here for a quick breakfast and I'll start by saying it was not quick at all. There were barely any other customers in the restaurant (I'm talking like 6 customers total) and they completely forgot about our food. We weren't served until 40 minutes after we ordered a basic breakfast sandwich. When our food finally did come it was so scalding hot that it burned the roof of my boyfriends mouth so bad that it blistered. The food was unnaturally hot and had me questioning if they microwaved it. After all this there was no apology or discount to our meal. Absolutely terrible experience.

Was excited to come to Post because of the rave reviews and the photos of the food. I love a good biscuit so I couldn't wait to have it. Made a reservation because the place is small and it gets packed. We had a nice server who was fairly new. So to drink I had the blueberry margarita which was pretty good. It was a small drink that didn't pack much of a punch but it had a good flavor. For food I shared the hot honey sweet potato salad which was very good. I had the biscuits and gravy which were pretty underwhelming. I felt that it lacked flavor and the food came out cold. My friend got the vegan biscuits and mushroom gravy and thought the same thing that it lacked flavor. Both biscuits were hard and not moist. I was pretty disappointed and underwhelmed. While the pancakes looked great and I wanted to try them, I don't know that I'll be back.

the service was great, it was a busy Sunday during brunch and indoor seating was full so we (party of 5) had to be seated outside midday in 95 degree sunny weather. Not complaining, just a note that you should make a reservation unlike us who came unprepared to be seated outside. Even as we were seated outdoors in the heat, the staff moved around shades and fans to make our experience tolerable. Im not a fan of gravy ,which is one of the stars in the menu, but the biscuits are TO DIE FOR so buttery, fluffy, and not too salty. The blueberry syrup on pancakes was delightful too... the food is great. the little salad next to the avocado biscuit is a tad lackluster but besides that, food was great! -- the strawberry mint margarita was awesome too, the people who ordered it in our party ended up ordering a second round of them.

We live locally and went here for brunch with my husband. I ordered the biscuit and gravy. It was good, but heavy. He had the avocado biscuit which was dry and didn't have much flavor. The place has a decent ambiance and our waitress was nice and helpful, which is a lot more than I can say for the host/owner who sat us down. We called before heading over and the person who answered told us there were some open tables in the garden and inside, too. We got there 2 minutes later and told the host (also an owner) that we had just called about an open table in the garden. After having snapped at us for not making a reservation ahead of time, he reluctantly sat us at a crappy table near the bar despite other open tables that remained unseated throughout the duration of our time there. His personality alone makes us uninterested in returning. He was nasty and rude. As a native New Yorker, I am well aware that better options are available elsewhere. We won't be returning.

I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was not very crowded, so we got seated right away. I ordered the post breakfast, and my fiancé ordered the huevos rancheros. Both dishes were so fresh and delicious. My fiancé repeatedly said how much he enjoyed the huevos rancheros. The hot sauce they offer is good but the bottle is awful - so hard to pour it. Service was good - nothing to write home about.

Visiting from LA & from the ambiance to the food, highly impressed by Post! My boyfriend and I have weird annoying orders and they accommodated everything with no hassle! Music was amazing while eating. I loved it. But really the food... so good. Thank you for a great lunch date Post! P.S. Im keeping my post card that came with the check in my NYC memory box forever! So cute! Sunny our waitress was very nice too!

I got the Avocado Biscuit, and it was so good! The biscuits here are definitely their specialty. Every layer of the biscuit was so crispy. The eggs were made perfectly, and the parmesan gave it a good texture. Service was good; food came out pretty quickly. The outdoor seating was also very nice. I will definitely come back for more of their biscuits!

Post is a seriously underrated, delicious brunch spot in the LES. Biscuits (decadent) and pancakes (huge--crispy on the outside, buttery and fluffy on the inside) were outstanding. Tons of vegan and veggie options as well. Our service was a little slow (might have actually been the kitchen being backed up), but they more than made up for it by providing a generous discount and free coffee without us even asking. The place is a great vibe with truly outstanding food.

We came on a Sunday at around 1pm without a reservation to a packed room. The host put us on the waitlist, and 40 minutes or so later, there was an outdoor table ready for us. The drink menu was limited and affordable. I actually admired its simplicity. We each got a mimosa for 8 dollars. I got another one for free as a lantern fly decided that my mimosa was its personal bath. We shared the sweet potato fries which were amazing. Perfect size and crisp. I wanted to get the fried chicken biscuit but they had already run out of fried chicken. Not sure how that happens. I feel like I would really stock up on chicken on a Sunday at around brunch time. So I opted for the sausage biscuit. It came with a side of salad. It was simple and good. My friend got the pork biscuit. She found it a touch heavy. This is not a bad option for brunch in the East Village. Definitely check it out if you're into biscuits.

Amazing food. Homemade baked biscuits make such a difference. Get the biscuits and gravy for brunch or the pulled pork biscuits as a dinner appetizer. You won't be disappointed.

We came on Sunday for brunch with a reservation. It was the first warm day since the winter so the place was packed. That said, the service was very slow--food took almost a full hour to come out and we didn't have a consistent server. HOWEVER this place has the best matcha I've ever had in NYC and the flavor of the huevos rancheros along with the blueberry pancakes was amazing. I will say the texture of the tortilla was a bit tough and I wish the pancakes came with a compote but solid place. I would come here on a weekday to avoid the rush. Get the matcha with oat milk. Truly life changing!

We had such a great experience here last Saturday morning! We came in at around 1, But we had to wait a half an hour for a seat which was fine since we didn't have reservations. What we ordered: I got the avocado biscuit And my boyfriend got the post breakfast. My biscuit was perfectly crumbly. It is probably one of the best biscuits I've had a New York! My partners breakfast was deliciously filling. The stand out was the tomatoes! Great service and great food for a fair price!

Great little place for breakfast or brunch. Everything was fresh and delicious. One of if not the best biscuit I have ever tasted. Super soft and flakey with a ton of flavor. Paired with gravy or butter and jam they are superb. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Great overall experience for brunch.

I love a good breakfast sandwich and I love biscuits. POST combined them to create the beauty that was the bacon biscuit that I got here. It was stuffed to the brim with a fried egg, bacon, arugula, and cheese. The biscuit was buttery and delicious but could be on the dry side at times because of how thick it was. That, in addition to the fact that the sandwich itself was thick (super hard to decide how to bite down on), made it a little hard to consume sometimes but I loved. Would eat again. I also ordered an iced matcha, which was a little on the watery side but all was forgiven because they add a little kick of ginger to it that elevated it. We were seated outside in the area that they call the "garden" which really wasn't very garden-like BUT it was this beautiful outside space that was all that we could ask for on a warm day. I'm not sure if it was just because we were seated in the outside area, but the service was a bit slow. There wasn't too much traffic in and out so it was slow on water refills and such, but it wasn't too big of a deal. I had to trek here from the bleecker street station, but it was worth it!

Such a gem!' I really like the food, decor and overall ambiance. Very chill and every time I came the waiters are really nice and attentive. I've tried a few biscuit options and loved them all. Very filling and for me, it's a breakfast/lunch portion all in one bc of how filling it is.

When it comes to a vegan/vegetarian brunch Post got it right. The coffee and mimosas were excellent. The mimosas came in a big glass . Their vegan sausage biscuit is spectacular. Chef Bobby was very kind and came to speak to us at our table. It was easy to see that he cooks with passion. He truly puts his heart into creating perfect plant based dishes. Post has a cozy patio that would impress any person you take there. We can't wait to return.

Growing up in Nashville, I have a grad degree in biscuits and gravy. Going into Post, I was skeptical about their biscuits and chicken sausage gravy offering. You can't find biscuit and gravy greatness in NYC, right? Wrong. It. Was. Amazing. Even better, their Bloody Mary rocked. It is the best homemade Bloody Mary I've ever had. Not too thick or thin and with just the right amount of zip and spice.

A cute small cafe that focuses mainly on biscuit breakfast items. I love how they have vegan friendly options and a good variety of coffee and non coffee drinks. Their portion sizes are perfect and quite hearty ~ I don't think anyone really cleared their plates. I would recommend that one make a reservation as it seems like they're often busy!

This spot has a really fresh fell because of all the white decor which was perfect for a Sunday brunch moment. I went here to catch up with a friend and noticed other folks doing the same. The service was a bit slow once service picked up but the pancakes DID NOT disappoint. They were crisp on the edge with butter and fluffy on the inside.

I came to Post for a brunch with 4 others and ordered the sausage biscuit with chicken and a chai. The biscuit bread itself was quite moist, but there was too much biscuit for the sausage, which I also thought was a little under salted. I also ordered an iced chai, which they didn't have so I got a hot one that came in a bag. It was fine but could've been a lot more spiced. Overall, a fine experience food-wise made better by the company and cute minimalist decor.

I made a reservation for 330pm and found out that the kitchen closes at 3:45pm which made ordering a bit rushed for me and my friend and I was running a little late as well. Strange enough when the bill came, they did not allow me and my friend to split it for some reason maybe because her part was a small portion. I got the fried chicken biscuit, which was delicious. Definitely impossible to eat with your hands and very messy so I ate it with a knife and fork. However, by the time I got towards the second half it was a bit cold given the AC which I'm not complaining about since it was pretty humid that day. I would suggest that they don't have such late reservations when the kitchen is closing so soon or maybe make a note of that. I can't say much about the ambience since I was there for a pretty short time. I didn't feel rushed, but it was also pretty empty so I was a little uncomfortable staying. my friend got the Afghani chai and loved it and the side salad that came with the chicken biscuit was great.

My server Nick was so nice and attentive. I went on a quiet week day so the inside was chill with some good air conditioning and lounge type music. I had an ice tea with the vegan biscuits and gravy which were delicious! I want to come back to try their pancakes and dinner menu. I didn't go outside into the backyard, but that's also an option.

Biscuits, biscuits, biscuits! POST is the go to spot on the Lower East Side if you want anything on a biscuit. Whether a sandwich on a biscuit or biscuits and gravy or just a biscuit alone, POST is the place to go. With Prune closed (hopefully only temporarily), POST is the spot for brunch on the LES.

Food took a while but it was worth it!!! Great for big groups, definitely recommend making a reservation.
