The best sandwich I've had in years! Have the roast beef sandwich with the "onion rye" - such great, fresh flavors. The spinach salad was fresh and light with feta and a vinaigrette. Delicious. Was not expecting this level of food when I entered!

Google
Ordered a roast beef sandwich and a bagel. Food was decent. However, the wait time was RIDICULOUS. We waited for 45 minutes. They told us they only had one grill and there was a line and roast beef needed to be grilled for 5 mins. I asked after 40 mins of waiting, the bagel was not even ready. The bagel had only some tomatoes, veggies and spread. It shouldn’t require anything more than 2 hands to make this. However, after 40 mins, the bagel wasn’t even ready yet. Coming from the East Coast, I’ve never waited for more than 10 minutes in my entire life, for a bagel with only raw ingredients This is ridiculous, and they should really warn their customers if they know the wait time is going to be ridiculously long.

A true Seattle gem. As a nightshift nurse, this is the only place open I can get a post shift cocktail and yummy breakfast, as well as coffee and dinner before work. So vibey and everything they offer, from food to cocktails to coffee, is genuinely so good and never disappoints. Everything is fresh or made in house, which is obvious in the taste. Food wise, the cobb salad is the best I’ve had and my go to is the buffalo chicken, hot turkey, or creating my own bagel sandwich. For drinks, the flatliner espresso martini is delicious, michelada is the most authentic I’ve had in the city (even have tamarind straw), but as a tequila girl, a spicy mezcal marg is a classic. Tuesday they do bingo and Friday karaoke, which is always a good time. A perfect spot truly for anything - watch a game on TVs and projector, sit outside and people watch on broadway, work from home, chill by yourself or with a group, etc. Since moving here from Chicago, Post Pike has been a home away from home.

Google
Great for a quick bit and drink. Limited seating, full bar, breakfast and lunch bagels, sandwiches and salads. Got a bagel and lox, it was amazing. Service was fun and attentive.

Kyuwon Lee

Google
Funky cafe bar with some loud tunes and limited lighting, serving pretty decent sandwiches.

You have to go on certain days to get food worth the price. For $16 I at least expect the sandwiches to have enough meat to reach the entirety of the bread. Instead, whoever works on Saturday/Sunday making sandwiches really needs a new job or some training. We ordered two days in a row and they were the laziest, most wimpy sandwiches we've ever had in Seattle. We thought they were just having a bad day but the next day we ordered they were even worse with even sadder looking food. The ingredients where just piled in one spot with barely anything but a shit ton of sauce. There was ONE piece of roast beef on mine which was disappointing enough but my husbands looked like it was ran over with 70% sauce just smeared into one big blob of mushy bread. You get one bite with actual ingredients and the rest is just mushy bread and sauce since everything is piled in one spot smack dab in the middle of the bread. Honestly, Jimmy John's is more worth it. Definitely not worth the price for what they give you. However, who makes the sandwiches on Tuesday, knows what they are doing. If you're looking for overpriced, underwhelming food with a long wait, this is the place.

Google
It's been a while since I've felt so insulted by the existence of a restaurant. This place is like, biblically greedy. A 4.75 turkey surcharge for an already 11 dollar bagel sandwich?? And the lowest tip option defaults to 20%??? And it takes them like 20 minutes to make??? All for that for the breakfast sandwhich to be diabolically mid. It's rare that I eat something from a restaurant that im certain I could make better myself with stuff from trader Joe's. I'm convinced every good review is from a woman who thought the owners/employees were hot. It has to be a psyop dude. The atmosphere is kinda cool I guess?? Surrounded by FAR better bars and far better coffee shops. Just go to one of those instead of this weird oddity that does both poorly.

Jace D

Google
If you have to bus your own table and can’t sit down and order but have to queue for a line then the lowest tip option shouldn’t be 20%. Pay your employees more. If I’m going in for a single pint or two and bus my own stuff then what am I tipping for? Also, tipping before you even get your food and drink makes no sense. The tip should reflect the quality of service, so why tip before the service?

Yelp
Just to clarify, this review is for the Georgetown location of Post Pike Bar & Cafe. I have never been to the Capitol Hill location, but the Georgetown location isn't on Yelp, so adding the review here. I work in Georgetown and we desperately needed a cafe on the main strip (Airport Way), so I was thrilled when they opened. Food is great and the cafe atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. They have a full bar, TV, couches and games. Menu is great for all types of eaters, they have sandwiches, salads, pizza and more with GF and vegetarian/vegan options. My only issue with this location is the unpredictability of the online ordering system and cafe hours. I order a lot of food for meetings, etc. and need a reliable partner for catering and lunches.

Yelp
I was visiting Seattle and made plans to meet a friend of mine who lives in the area. We arrived just before 7pm and found the restaurant fairly empty. The vibe was laid back and comfortable. My sister and I both had the Post Pike Punch, which was okay. Neither of us would order it again, but it was decent. We didn't order any food because nothing on the menu jumped out at us. We ended up going over to Dick's Drive-In after we left. Our friend had the roast beef sandwich and a beer. She said the sandwich was really good. We just sat and talked for a couple of hours before heading out. The front door of the restaurant was open, but it still became increasingly smokey inside. So much so that my eyes began to become irritated and burn. My sister said the smoke didn't affect her, though. Other than the smokey haze, it was very comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves. The two staff members I encountered were pleasant as well. The two drinks cost nearly $30, which is probably on par with Chicago, so I wasn't complaining.

Yelp
Went for a quick snack, it's pretty small with a couple of booths and a bar top. The service was nice and friendly, pretty quick as well. I thought the mocha was really really bad, I couldn't taste any chocolate or anything. My friend tried it and agreed and said it just tasted like coffee with no flavor. The mimosa was pretty alright and the bagel was alright too but for 15 dollars for a bagel sandwich and 11, it feels a little pricey to me. I would go again, just not for the coffee though but maybe for cocktails it'd be better.
google avatar

Milan K.

Yelp
I stopped in here with my family for a quick beverage to warm us up. The ambiance was like your favorite dive bar -- cozy and eclectic. The staff was beyond accommodating since we had 2 Pomeranians with us. The hot chocolate was perfectly sweet, clearly made with milk instead of water. I would come back!

Rulloff G.

Yelp
The food is good but basic, and the prices are off the mark--by a lot. I'm not just talking about general inflation, Post Pike is much pricier than almost anywhere else. For example: A bagel with plain cream cheese at Rubenstein's is $5.25; at Eltana $4.50. Post Pike: $7.50. That's 43-67% more. A basic breakfast sandwich is $14 with bacon. Next door, at Kitanda, they're $5.39. Post Pike is 160% more. One at B-Side Foods is $8.50. Post Pike is 65% more. Lunch sandwiches are on the higher end as well, around $14-16, for Boar's Head deli meats. The same can be had at Thomas Market & Deli for $11-13. Or for a similar price, you could go to Honeyhole and have house-roasted tri-tip.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by Post Pike Bar & Cafe. The SIL was dropping off some records to sell nearby so we stopped in while they were being reviewed. I expected full on bar food, but it ended up being much closer to light cafe fare. The honey ordered a sandwich and I ordered a delicious hot chocolate with peppermint and a cookie. The seating wasn't that abundant since it's a small space, but we sat at one of their few booths and enjoyed our snacks. The service was prompt, and the experience was good. I would definitely drop in again.

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
So cute. Came in for an early lunch and was not disappointed. It was cool and dark inside. Great AC. I had the Flatliner to drink and the warm turkey sandwich. Both were great and prompt. They staff seemed warm and cheerful. I'll for sure be back!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and a consistent good time whenever I go in , the staff is a delight and the interior design is outstanding.

Yelp
This place is legit. If you can't find something to eat/drink here than you just don't like eating out. They have everything from cold and warm sandwiches to coffee and cocktails. For the morning they have breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and mimosas. If you come for lunch, they have a sandwiches, salads, and beer. They even have 3 different kinds of espresso martinis! The prices are reasonable, especially for Capitol Hill. The vibe is super chill, staff is great, sandwiches are tasty. Love this place!

Jay V.

Yelp
It's a cool place with a nice ambiance, but the food takes so long. They told us it would be 15 minutes for a sandwich. One hour in, it's still not ready. They don't tell you any kind of update. I asked the cashier, and she said it would be another 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I finally got food. If you have the time, I suppose it could be worth going to.

Travis T.

Yelp
The service was amazing especially from the doorman he went above and beyond his duties and is probably the sexiest bouncer in seattle
google avatar

Evette F.

Yelp
Great neighborhood surprise. Had a tuna melt on gluten free bread and a hot turkey. Those hit the spot for both my lunch companion and me. Very friendly, genuine smiles from a welcoming crew there. Service was efficient and the space was clean. Try it!
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Lox bagel is filling and tasty! Bagel was right amount of filling and smoked salmon imo. Would've been nice to have capers. There was lots of dill and cream cheese. I like it better than Einstein's Bros fo sho
google avatar

Danielle R.

Yelp
I wanted to grab a quick breakfast, so I stopped in here! They have a small amount of seating but also have a bar and room to stand. I ordered a lox sandwich on an everything bagel. I love lox bagels, but unfortunately this one was a bit disappointing. It had too many pickled onions and not enough salmon, so it didn't really feel like a lox bagel. Though I wouldn't order this sandwich again, I would go back to try some of their other menu items!
google avatar

Yelp
Iced latte/service review: When you order a 16 oz latte and get a 12 oz latte instead because the cashier rings you up for the 12 oz, and then you're gracious about it because you don't mind taking what you paid for, but then the barista says, "Oh, are you sure? I don't mind just adding more milk..." after you had already mentioned that the amount of milk was way too much and the color was basically white.

Yelp
This place bomb! Great atmosphere with locals just chilling. Great food. I've had the salads and bagel sandwiches are memorable as well.Friendly service.

Yelp
My first time in Seattle and we stayed at Capitol Hill area, which is a cute area with a lot of great shops? Parks and restaurants within walking distance! Post Pike Bar & Cafe was one we frequented, and all the times we stopped by the service was phenomenal. They were very attentive and gave us great recommendations. They are open until 2am so one night we went and Joey & Max were so great! They served us drinks and recommended the espresso martini with bourbon (I forgot the name of the cocktail but it was very interesting haha) If you're staying around Capitol Hill area, I recommend this place both as a breakfast coffee AND bar place.
google avatar

Casey S.

Yelp
I went to Post Pike for a breakfast bagel, so the bar is for another time. While things are a bit pricy, these are legit bagels - no Noah's Bagels here! Ended up getting an everything bagel with egg, bacon, and smear and ate well.
google avatar

Sanjna S.

Yelp
My friend and I wanted a quick bite so we ordered the hot tuna sandwich and the turkey sandwich for take out and we both loved our orders! It was super fresh & flavorful - we recommend both sandwiches and will be coming back!

Lush L.

Yelp
Post Pike has established itself as a community hub. Max and staff create a welcoming environment for all that stop by, and they have some of the best deli and drink options in the area. They are a true gem of the neighborhood.
google avatar

Riddhi P.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for about a year consistently and getting the same order. I've always enjoyed their bagels. Recently, not sure what's changed but the service has been pretty bad. They get my order wrong about 50% of the time which makes no sense as it's just a bagel with cream cheese and egg. The staff were extremely rude after telling them the order was wrong and refused to believe me even though it was clearly on the receipt? Can't believe this is how they treat long term customers. Will not be coming back after repetitive wrong doings over something so simple.
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
Got a quick bite here in the morning. I ordered the Lox Sandwich, and it was pretty good but nothing too special. It was pretty small - I thought it was gonna be bigger considering I paid $12 for it. If you're craving breakfast food, want something fast, and don't care if it's worth the price, it's not bad.
google avatar

Rob W.

Yelp
Walked to this lil place from Glo's diner (1 1/2 wait) and ordered turkey egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel!!! Absolutely delicious!!! Thanks guys!!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
Wanted a cortado and a place to sit while I wrote out a card to drop at the post office next door. Got what I wanted and got to borrow the pen I forgot to bring. Expansive menu, great bar.

Yelp
Went to this place a few months ago, I had just landed in Seattle to visit a friend and stopped in here for a drink. Very nice bartender, good crowd -- I got the Rosemary's Baby and it's quite literally the best cocktail I've ever had. Seriously, I felt compelled to write this review because ever since then I haven't stopped thinking about it and I keep trying to find a drink that can compare to it and nothing's even come close. This place is gonna be a mandatory stop for me whenever I find myself in WA. Here's hoping that'll be soon !

Kris W.

Yelp
Needed to drive into the city and stopped by this place for breakfast. Post Pike did not disappoint. Delicious bagels and coffee!

Yelp
I recently saw the Eater article about this sandwich place opening up nearby and had to go check it out! I think it's super cute inside and the person who took my order was very friendly! I ordered the #8 hot Turkey Sandwich with chipotle Mayo and a side of salt/vinegar chips! I'll start by saying I thought the sandwich was delicious; great combo of meat, cheeses, and toppings that made it work very well and I enjoyed the bread too. I will say it took longer to make than I expected for a sandwich, even a hot sandwich which required a panini press to warm the cheese but I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush that day. I also felt it was a bit expensive for the size of the sandwich I received (could just be the panini press flattening it completely?) Anyway, I definitely see myself returning occasionally as I'd love to support a local business near me and I think the sandwich was delicious! Maybe I'll try a breakfast one next time

Austin F.

Yelp
Keep in mind I specifically came here to try the bagel Vibes: little dark and spooky in here but kind of cool 6/10 probably good on a rainy day Bagel: I ordered the prosciutto sandwich (kind of a risk) on everything bagel. but it was very yummy. The actual bagel was a 5/10 not super fresh but the overall sandwich was good 7/10 Overall 6.5/10 I'd rank both rubensteins and westmans over it. But it's better than cherry street Want to return and try their espresso martinis, cool spot tucked away on Broadway

Johnny N.

Yelp
Great spot! Great drinks, food and to watch games! Will definitely recommend to anybody

Katherine C.

Yelp
Everything about Post Pike is top tier! Worth a stop for coffee/snack on the go or dine-in for a cocktail with friends.

Terry R.

Yelp
Walked in was greeted warmly. Walked up ordered my bagels and Expressos and a blood Mary. No judgement for ordering a bloody at 9:15 am. My kinda of place.
google avatar

Noriyasu L.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite bars in seattle. Is it the best cocktails? Maybe yes, maybe not. Is it the best ambience? Maybe yes, maybe not. Is it the best place to get a drink? Maybe yes, maybe not. But you can count on 1) awesome staff and bartenders, 2) awesome people and patrons. 3) awesome beers on tap and cocktails, 4) awesome food and bites, 5) I mean if you want to spend $20 per drink at some bar that you'll get mediocre service and next to questionable people be my guest or go to post like an have a great experience :)
google avatar

Troy C.

Yelp
Delicious!!!! Finally a good bagel on Broadway with a cocktail, yesss! Love everything about this cafe. The team are really nice and the food very good. Selection is simple but I think that is a good thing. If it's gonna be simple it better be good. Def money spot!!!
google avatar

Trevor M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick beer and snack. Really friendly workers and good prices for Capitol Hill too.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in a great location! I've been there three times already since they opened & each time everything's been delicious. The lox breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel... YUM. It's so hard to find breakfast sandwiches / bagels in Seattle, but Post Pike has helped solve that problem. I'm pretty picky with coffee but theirs is amazing! I'm so happy I don't have to go to separate locations for coffee & breakfast. Can't wait to be able to get drinks at the bar, but at least for now they have tons of to-go cocktails! You don't wanna pass this place up.

Allison O.

Yelp
Ordered a breakfast sandwich and latte for takeout. Was served latte first, and then the breakfast sandwich took a long time AND was wrong and not to-go. Took them so long to make another sandwich -- several people who came in after me got their orders before me -- the coffee was cold before I was finally served. The person behind the counter saw me come up but immediately turned her back on me and walked away. It really looked like she thought she could avoid me. After waiting for her to finally come back to the register, all she had were excuses, not even an apology. Would have at least expected an offer to repour the coffee. I hadn't even touched it while waiting for the rest of my order. For a takeout order, they should at least serve food at the same time as coffee, so it's still hot. The service here was awful. I told her it was my first time in and that I won't be back. More defensive excuses. Just wish she could have at least pretended to care. I gave her a chance to do the right thing, but she wouldn't/couldn't figure it out. DO NOT recommend this place for takeout orders unless you like standing around for a good 20 minutes for your food and lukewarm coffee. Disappointing.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Great bar, great bartenders, amazing food with amazing menu rotations, great bar regulars. Please visit this place - you'll be pleased..

Yelp
Saw an article in Eater and made the short trek up the hill on a sunny winter Saturday. When I got there, there was one person in front of me, however they were swamped and I waited over 15 minutes to even place my order. Once I placed it, it took another 25 minutes to get my two sandwiches. During covid, there were quite a few people hanging around and waiting inside which made me a bit nervous. It was also uncomfortably hot and smoky inside I brought the sandwiches home to eat and they were delicious. I got the Egg sandwich on a salt bagel (yum!) with bacon and cream cheese. My fiancé got the hot turkey and commented that the yellow peppers "made the sandwich", although the tomato made it a bit soggy. Would definitely visit this neighborhood spot again, but wait until they iron out the wrinkles of a grand opening. I also would hesitate to visit during covid since a lot of waiting INSIDE was involved.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
Visited last weekend and ordered the bagel and lox and the classic bacon egg and cheese bagel. The bagel and lox was pretty phenomenal. The lox melt in your mouth and the everything bagel was fresh. The bacon egg and cheese on the other hand was just so-so. Personally I'd prefer a traditional crispy strip of bacon over the chewer bits of bacon incorporated into the sandwich. Overall good spot and I'll be back for the bagel and lox but can't justify the price for the egg and bacon sandwich.
google avatar

Kimmi G.

Yelp
I had the avocado and tomato bagel sandwich on everything bagel. It was good! The bagel was definitely tasty. I think I would try the lox or a regular veggie sandwich next time. I think the tomato threw me off. But everything tasted fresh and the place is really cute! Looks like you can also grab beer and cocktails. Thankful for a new spot in our neighborhood!! Definitely will be back.
google avatar

Billie L.

Yelp
Literally so delicious. Walking by, had never been here and checked it out. They had Guinness so my boyfriend was sold. I got the hot spicy red pepper turkey sandwich while my boyfriend got the prosciutto breakfast bagel. We both devoured our food and couldn't believe how tasty it was. I will definitely come back for more.
google avatar

Michelly E.

Yelp
The ambiance is a bit strange (as is the concept) - do you want to be a bar or a cafe? It would perhaps be more coherent if it was a cafe that served wine, instead of beers and liquor. Regardless, the sandwiches and coffee are good, a little bit slow service-wise. There were two employees working and they were doing each order one at a time. It's fine if you're planning to dine-in, but for quick bites on the go it's sub-optimal. Overall, I would say it's fine to try, but not to go out of your way for.
google avatar

Coolie C.

Yelp
My go to spot for morning bagels and a little hair of the dog. Staff is friendly and chill.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Best composed Lox bagel sandwich I've had so far in Seattle. Just the right amount of everything and their BEC bagel is decent too.
google avatar

Lauren F.

Yelp
Wow! What a great find! This bar/cafe not only has great food (I had the spicy club for lunch yesterday and it didn't disappoint) but it also has great prices on drinks and food. We came here to watch the Eurocup finals and the place was full of soccer lovers! This is a great spot for your morning breakfast and coffee, or even your evening drink. Cannot recommend enough.
google avatar

Marco P.

Yelp
Love the concept of this place! The bagels are amazing and the coffee is great. I think the idea of having a bagel and a beverage (if you choose) is great. Wish they had one in LA!

Eli M.

Yelp
Food is good, the space is cute and a very good idea since it's has breakfast, lunch and is also a bar + coffee!! I've been here twice and both times was not made to feel welcome; staff did not greet me when I walked in, just simply stared at me blankly waiting for me to begin ordering. Staff said zero words to me the entire interaction and I was definitely was not left feeling like a place I would like to frequent. Several businesses have unsuccessfully opened restaurants at this location & I fear this business will sadly not stay open long if staff can not figure out the basic customer service skill of making costumers feel like a patron instead of an unexpected/uninvited guest. Just my honest impression and I hope they succeed!!
google avatar

Megan P.

Yelp
Concept is super cool bagels are delicious and their drinks are amazing! The cream cheese is delicious and the bagels are soft and toasty

Zach R.

Yelp
Update: Went again and got a lunch sandwich. Nothing missing this time, no wait at slightly off-hours lunch, and tasty and friendly yet again. Looks like they added some tape to act as covid line markers.
