Post Pike Cafe Opens with Bagel Sandwiches and Cocktails | Eater Seattle

"After months of preparation a new cafe has opened on Capitol Hill aiming to attract both daytime diners and the nightlife crowd: Post Pike Cafe & Bar on Broadway East (East Broadway), right off the light rail and near the post office. I found that it serves a variety of bagel sandwiches—made with bagels from partner Westman’s—and espresso brewed with roasts from Vashon Island–based Pollard Coffee. There’s also a full bar offering takeout cocktails such as margaritas, palomas, and bloody marys topped with vegetables pickled onsite, plus beer, hard seltzer, and shots. Co-owners Onjoli Dela Torre and Max Lovelace, who met working at nearby Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge and Comet Tavern, hope the menu will appeal to commuters and people working from home and plan to be known as a coffee-and-bagel spot by day and a favorite neighborhood bar by night once indoor dining is allowed; they expect to expand food and drink offerings in 2021.
