Posta do Sol

"A restaurant-marisquería with plenty of character and decorative details inspired by the local region. Fish and seafood are the specialities here, along with the “empanadas” (the scallop empanada is a particular favourite!)." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely fantastic. Top fish and seafood. If something isn’t fresh, you won’t see it in the menu so rest assured, you get only brilliant stuff. Menu is long but inconsistent because as I say, they only serve you top quality/fresh fish so the daily market dictates the menu in a way. I’ve been going for years and it’s a must when I’m around. Coffee liquor is probably the best I ever had in my life.

Excellent seafood! Goose barnacles were fantastic, as were the clams "a la gallega" and the turbot. Scallops very nice. Very friendly service, and a good wine list. We can also recommend their own "aguardiente"

A nearby winery suggested this restaurant for lunch. We were welcomed by the proprietor who provided wonderful service. It was all locals enjoying lunch. Charming atmosphere. Good food. Very happy.

Just great food, reasonable prices for all. Fish and seafood tasted really good and fresh. Large portions and friendly staff. Highly recommended to try their "Empanada de Vieiras"

We have been there on my birthday looking for some fresh seafood. This wasn't cheap, but of exceptional quality. Almejas a la marinera (clams) very well made, with only a decent hint of garlic and pimentón. Enourmous cigalas (Dublin Bay prawns - or Scampi), only steamed to keep their incredible natural flavour. Finally Scallops baked with traditional breadcrumb-onion topping. All very good, thank you for a perfect birthday dinner!

Pure Bliss, just I have no words to describe either the food or the place . Best Spanish Secret. The selection of real fresh fish ( no sad fish and chips) is from the other planet. Order as starter potaje gallego and then any of the gorgeous fish selection!

Went here on the recommendation of all the glowing reviews but came away disappointed. A lot of the menu wasn't available and the fish and shellfish we ordered was well cooked, but bland. Overpriced considering 80% of the plate is boiled potatoes. Friendly service but (not a criticism, just a warning!), no English spoken.

This place is INCREDIBLE. I've been to many places is Spain, and this restaurant is one of the best. My family is from Galicia so I know good food. If you're in the area GO TO THIS PLACE. Manolo is the owner and his service was perfect. Try to go between 2-3:30 before they close at 4:00 pm because the restaurant will be slow and it will give you a more personal experience with him.
