15 Essential Restaurants in Deep Ellum

"A great stop for wine lovers, Postino has a carefully curated collection, and you can pick up a bottle there as well as uncork for a glass. The bruschetta is heavenly; go for the prosciutto, fig, and mascarpone option. So are the myriad possibilities for a cheese and meat (or straight vegetables) board." - Eater Staff

My friend and I went for Saturday brunch and we were blown away! The staff was incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful! They know so much about the wine and the food they serve. I personally have to eat gluten free and they were able to accommodate that so easily! The atmosphere and aesthetic is beautiful and fun and in a great location! I highly recommend checking out Postino in Deep Ellum!

After strolling about Deep Ellum, we decided to pop into Postino for a quick bite. The place was packed, with not everyone seeming to observe mask discipline (which was a bit of a red flag). The food we ordered was pretty tasty, especially the cauliflower. The people watching from the patio is top-notch, which is a large portion of this places charm.

We went to Postino in March, 2022 and we loved the food, ambience and service. Everything was to the point. So we recommend this restaurant to a lot of our family and friends (free publicity) The best dish was crispy cauliflower. We went again yesterday for Valentine’s Day and we order the crispy cauliflower and they served it burnt one. Also, service was not good at all. Felt like they are running the restaurant for the sake of it.or may be they changed the chef and management but it was a bad experience this time. Not gonna recommend it to anyone anymore.

First the entire staff is great to be around everytime we visit. Especially Ken who never misses a beat with his service, and has become our favorite server. This place is a wine bar with amazing food. We frequent Postinos and you won’t find a more unique food selection or better drink deals in Deep Ellum (6 ‘till 5 iykyk)

Can't wait to go back! Really loved the warm welcome and chats from Brian and Andrew. For starters the crispy cauliflower, sweet potatoes wedges and mozzarella and tomatoes were dalish. We did a bruschetta board and thankfully they had gluten free bread. We've been to the one in Phoenix and love it. So glad Dallas finally has one! Next time: dessert! Note: staffed parking is across the street

Checked this place out on their first Friday night open. Just fyi, it was very busy and very loud. I had to yell to be heard by the server. It might chill out some, once its not so new. Overall, this is a fun place to hang out with friends and drink some good wine. Not a place to have an intimate wine dinner. It definitely was a good time. I spoke to several staff members and they were all knowledgeable about the wine, which is appreciated. I definitely will be back.

We were so excited to see this opened near us!! We had it in Arizona and their sandwhichs were some of the best I've had. This new establishment was beautiful. The staff was so kind and attentive. They have a great happy hour! $5 pitchers and $5 glasses of wine. The food we had was so-so. (Should have got a sandwhich) I loved the Bruschetta though. Can't wait to come back and try more food.

This restaurant has been on my go-to list for a while and I finally went for my birthday brunch. The food was amazing, it didn't matter if you got the brunch or regular menu. It is a wine bar with beer, no liquor, which is good to know beforehand. I got the croquet madame and my boyfriend for the meatball shakshouka. I would recommend getting a reservation if you have a party of 6 or more. If you're in Deep Ellum, come to Postino!
