Postino WineCafé Is Poppin’ Bottles in San Diego’s Little Italy and Del Mar | Eater San Diego

"I can do the same at the One Paseo location in Del Mar, where the design draws on the Del Mar Turf Club’s 1930s Hollywood Regency period and the Del Mar Skate Ranch to marry skater vibes with Hollywood artifacts. The same seasonally rotating menu highlights bruschetta and charcuterie boards (including the bacon, arugula, and tomato board; warm artichoke spread; and mushroom and marscarpone bruschettas), along with soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and vegetable or chef’s-choice charcuterie and “table cheese.” The nationwide wine program curated by advanced sommelier Brent Karlicek offers exclusive in-house labels and winemaker collaborations, roughly 30 verticals by the glass, plus local beers on tap and a short list of classic cocktails. Local vintage pickers GoGo Modern, Mid Century Store, and Klassik also contributed to the One Paseo design. Happy hour goes until 5 p.m. daily with $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer, and hours mirror the Little Italy location." - Courtney E. Smith

Postino Del Mar is consistently delicious with a trendy, welcoming atmosphere—great for groups or a casual meal with a friend. I booked a lunch reservation for seven, and we were seated at a spacious outdoor table perfect for sharing. I’ve tried most of the menu—cauliflower, grilled cheese, bruschetta boards, paninis, salads, and soups—and everything has been great. The grilled cheese bites with the smooth, warm tomato soup are especially perfect. Parking is easy during the day but fills up at night, so arriving about 10 minutes early helps. Big shoutout to Alex, our amazing server. He was gracious, knew the menu well, kept track of our large group’s orders, and his recommendations were spot on. Ask him for his favorite bruschetta picks!

Google
Went here on a Tuesday for their $30 wine and board special such a great deal! You get four bruschetta of your choice, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the mascarpone & mushroom and the salmon one absolutely perfect with the wine. Super cute spot for a girls’ night or a cozy date. Definitely coming back! 🍷✨

Postino Del Mar – Unbeatable Happy Hour Vibes We came to Postino Del Mar for happy hour, and it was simply unbeatable. The $7 pitcher of beer is an incredible deal, honestly hard to match anywhere else. They also offer a solid selection of wines, which adds to the laid-back yet refined atmosphere. We ordered a charcuterie board to go along with our drinks, it looked nice but was a bit underwhelming in flavor and variety. Still, the overall experience more than made up for it. The ambiance is fantastic, beautifully designed and full of good energy. Whether you're stopping by for a casual drink or a relaxed evening out, Postino Del Mar is definitely worth the visit.

Google
Similar to the location downtown, but this location has more of a brunch in the suburbs vibe. The downtown location is more industrial looking. I got the Riesling I usually like and my friend and I shared the bruschetta board and the West coaster panini. For the board, we got the sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese, the burrata bacon arugula, ricotta dates and pistachio, and the mushroom with mascarpone. I had previously tried the goat cheese and the mushroom bruschetta and they were as good as the first time around. The ricotta was better than the burrata, but the burrata was surprisingly good. The sandwich was decent but I have had better paninis elsewhere. The service was ok. They were nice but not overtly friendly or anything. This is the closer location for me, so I will be back mainly for the board and the wine.

Google
Really really good. Huge wine list and 6$ glasses all day until 5pm. Food was good. Something’s were memorable others were not. Really good were the meatballs, bruschetta board Staff were insanely knowledgeable about the menu and drink options but I feel they were short staffed or busy with big parties maybe I would come back here again and again 🥰 really great time. Definitely a snack and drink and hangout place

Google
This might be my favorite new location. The staff seems actually excited to be here. Rachel took care of us and she was incredible. So friendly without trying too hard & somehow knew exactly what we were in the mood for. The food was quick (we slipped in late, starving) yet everything was fresh and Rachels wine rec was on point. Had a really good playlist too to top it off!

Google
I love Postinos for a glass of wine and some food! The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is personable and chill. I had Jackson as my server and he was knowledgeable about the menu and I appreciated his friendly demeanor. He had a fun vibe that matches the restaurant! I will be back with my girlfriends during the holidays!

Google
I enjoyed an excellent caprese panino at this Postino location. I loved the way they toasted the panini bread. The bread had excellent texture and tasty flavor. The caprese came with fresh arugula, fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced Roma tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic, and a very good delicious basil pesto sauce that brought the panini together nicely. The panini coast $16.25 plus tax. As a side, I ordered the seasonal potato soup. It was very well made and tasted delicious. I was certainly a fan of it. The service was very good. It was very friendly. Being at Paseo One, there's plenty of parking at the dedicated parking structure. They offer a variety of wines, paninis, salads, and open faced items. Postino is a great place for lunch, dinner, and brunch.

Yelp
EXCELLENT staff, all of them. This was my favorite spot in Scottsdale AZ for the longest time and I was ecstatic to see one open here in CA. The food is to die for, the wines are phenomenal & the ambience is superb. I forgot my waitresses name (long dark hair), but she was an expert on the menu. I had such a great time dining with her as a server. I also got the pleasure to meet Kyle (manager) and he was exactly what'd you'd look for in a manager. Kind, personable & accommodating. In addition I met Calvin (think that's his name). It was a young man at the host stand. He was very funny and friendly! A true stand out spot with excellent food & excellent employees!! It's not often you run into a place with service as great as the food. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I love going here! We always have the best experience with the workers and other guests. JD, Suzy, and the rest of the crew are the kindest people and always make us feel at home when we're there. The food is amazing, the bruschetta boards and mushroom fondue is unreal. the overall vibe of the outdoor space keeps us coming back every time. BEST happy hour in San Diego. this will continue to be our number 1 spot to go to in SD.

Yelp
My family loves going to this place. Good food and wine. We love Susie, she always makes us feel super comfortable and makes sure everything is perfect.

Yelp
Came here for a girls night and it was the perfect place for it! We came at 3:30 during happy hour, and sadly realized happy hour is only for their wines and beers but no food included. Nonetheless we still ordered food and had a great time. My grilled cheese and tomato soup was sooo yummy. Huge fan of their tomato soup. We shared some bruschetta boards - our fave toppings were the salmon and pesto and the artichoke spread! We also ordered the hazelnut bar for dessert and that was great I've never had a dessert quite like it! It was like a hazelnut wafer chocolate bar with a peanut butter mousse. The service here is also just very friendly, the vibes on the outside patio are great.

Yelp
Great experience! Picturesque and soothing vibe, nestled in a quiet village in Del Mar. Attractive menu, and promising wine offerings. The perfect casual date venue.

Yelp
The food at Postino Del Mar is consistently delicious, and the whole place has a trendy, welcoming vibe. It's perfect for group dining or a casual meal with a friend. I made a lunch reservation for seven, and we were seated at a great outdoor table with plenty of space--ideal for sharing lots of dishes. I've tried a good portion of their menu over multiple visits, including the cauliflower, grilled cheese, bruschetta boards, paninis, salads, and soups. Honestly, I haven't had a single item I didn't enjoy. The grilled cheese comes sliced into small portions--perfect for sharing--and the tomato soup is smooth, warm, and incredibly comforting. Truly a flawless combo. My favorite panini is the prosciutto and Brie. Yum. This was my second time at the Del Mar location, and parking is pretty easy, especially during the day. In the evenings the lot can fill up, so arriving about 10 minutes before your reservation is a good idea. Huge shoutout to Alex, our server, who was fantastic. He was gracious, knowledgeable, and somehow kept track of everyone's order--even with a big, slightly chaotic group. All our food came out on time, and his recommendations were spot on. Definitely ask him for his favorite bruschetta spreads! He also had wonderful recommendations for those of us who are not drinkers. The non-alcoholic selection here is amazing.

Yelp
Met a friend here for a late dinner and the service was great. Since there were a few tables open, they let us choose where we wanted to sit and checked in on us every so often to make sure we were comfortable while also giving us the privacy to talk. My friend and I shared two bruschetta boards and an OMG grilled cheese, and all of it was so good! It's the perfect wine bar for light food and a romantic atmosphere. Our favorites were the prosciutto, fig, and mascarpone and the fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. They didn't have a huge selection of wines, which might be the only downside if you're looking for an extensive wine list, but I really liked the red I chose. Overall would definitely recommend for a night out with friends or a date!

Yelp
I came here as an event and it didn't disappoint disappoint. Where to start?? Great location. Parking was easy, and easy to find. The staff were amazing as expected at Postinos. Friendly, helpful, attentive. I got the Riesling as the free glass of wine and it didn't disappoint. Next I got Nick's platter. Such a variety. The giant pretzels were soft and warm. The pickles were spicy. The sausage was fantastic. And the pimento cheese hit the spot. I finished my visit with the free dots. The three dipping sauces were heaven. Susie was my waitress and she was amazing. So relatable.. she was attentive, but not hovering. You can tell that she's a true professional. JD the manager stopped by the table. So friendly and fun. I will definitely be back. This is such a great addition to this area. If you're just looking for a quick bite while shopping , a place for you and your friends to grab happy hour, or date night on a Saturday. This is your place.. They have a great happy hour btw.

Yelp
I usually come just for the board and bottle deal on Monday and Tuesday nights, but this time ordered some extra apps. Super glad I did. Everything was delicious. The garlic shrimp was fantastic and full of flavor. Meatballs were pretty tasty as well. Love this spot for a cute little girls night.

Yelp
I love the vibes at Postino Del Mar! Perfect for dates with your friends or significant other :)! Service went smoothly and my friend and I went at a not so busy time! Definitely the bruschetta boards were a hit! Our faves were the fresh mozzarella and prosciutto with fig! Ooh and I definitely enjoyed the OMG Grilled cheese with that side of tomato soup dip! Least faves for us was the squash special and Brie, apple, fig, but you know what, that's just cause we had so many options to try haha. So what wasn't the best for us may be the best for you ;) Be sure to try them out!

Yelp
POSTINO @ DEL MAR Parking is available in their lots, I'd recommend parking across the street to Urban Plates & Omomo, there are more spots available and less crowded! This was my second time going to Postino! The last time I went was for a Yelp event at their Little Italy location, so I was super excited to check out the Del Mar spot. We got seated right away, and I instantly fell in love with their outdoor patio, it was sunny and beautiful for a Saturday evening. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and we were given water and menus right away. Their happy hour deal is seriously amazing! They had $7 pitchers, and of course my boyfriend couldn't resist ordering one. It filled about two full glasses of beer, such a steal! We decided to share the bruschetta board, which comes with four pieces for $20. They had a great selection of flavors, and we ended up getting two of the smoked salmon & pesto, one tomato bacon, and one tomato mozzarella (a total classic!). Everything came out within 5-10 minutes, and the bruschetta was so good, the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The toppings were super fresh and flavorful, and I loved that you could mix and match. My boyfriend really enjoyed his pitcher too, and we both left happy and full. Overall, I'd definitely come back to this location it's such a cute spot for happy hour, and the atmosphere is perfect for a casual weekend date night!

Yelp
Wow, can't believe I never reviewed this place. $7 glass wine for the whole day is hard to beat. I've enjoyed the cauliflower, mushroom fondue, and bruschetta board of your own creation.

Yelp
Great place to go with friends! It's a great location, easy to get to. I've been here twice. I would keep coming back for the location and price point on items alone. Sour: The food is decent. Definitely not my favorite but it has good variety. Can't complain for the price point. I've had the different boards. The options sound better than they taste. It's a good shareable option just nothing spectacular about it except its light and nice pairing option with your wine. This time I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's a good size portion. They serve you 2 grilled cheese paninis and soup. The grilled cheese itself was only ok. There was something about the texture it seemed off. Could have been the cheese but I do like all the cheeses in there. The tomato soup was very good but it was a little cold. Sweet: It's more of a wine bar but it's nice that they serve other cocktail options if you aren't into wine like me. They have a variety of cocktails that are light and refreshing to choose from.

Yelp
When I tell you, I love this restaurant! Me and my friend have went at least five times. Every single time we go we mix and match to try different bruschetta boards. We also tried their charcuterie as well! First and foremost I love the vibes. They have a lot of great happy hour specials, but unfortunately, we've never made it there early enough to grab them, but the service was phenomenal. Every single time we go the servers are so sweet! Their wine is also delicious! My favorite is the wrestling. It was so light and airy and crisp and sweet I have absolutely no words to say about this place that are negative! As soon as the sun sets, it gets a little bit busier and the restaurant gets a lot louder. But it is a place to just have fun and relax. Every time me and my friend go, we are literally in there for hours just chatting and catching up, and this is one of our go to spots! When we don't know where to go, we go here. And since it's in one Paseo, it makes it even better because we get to walk around, look at the shops let our food digest, and everything about this area is beautiful! You don't have to worry about parking, because every time we go on the weekend and it's totally fine. My favorite bruschetta on the menu was the pistachio and date, there was also a prosciutto, a traditional bruschetta that had bacon on it, and the Apple One is really good as well. Then for the charcuterie, they had this whipped feta that was so creamy so light so fresh! Needless to say, I will be coming back here 1 million times.
google avatar

Madi S.

Yelp
Love Postino! They have great happy hour deals on wine, so I usually try to go at that time. They can get very busy so be sure to put your name in as soon as you arrive at one Paseo, and then spend some time shopping while you wait.
google avatar

Dee C.

Yelp
this is a great place for a lite bite and a cocktail or even a full on dinner. Lots of fun choices. They have specials and happy hour too.
google avatar

Kylie P.

Yelp
Big fan of Postino. I've been here twice and love the emphasis on shareable bites, especially the bruschetta toast boards. Restaurant overall has a great vibe for both a casual lunch and evening wine night. And of course One Paseo is just a great location. Will return!
google avatar

Julia R.

Yelp
This is a fun little spot in the middle of the one Paseo mall. They have great music playing, a nice patio with heaters, and nice indoor ambiance as well. Their wine is delicious, and they have some good happy hour deals. Their Panini was pretty good, although next time I come back, I will have to try their claim to fame of the bruschetta board. The service was good, the server was attentive and she kept coming back.
google avatar

Perla R.

Yelp
Everything at Postino was great for a happy hour outing, I tried the Pinot noir they had available and it was good very light & smooth! We ordered a create your own board with 4 different options my favorite was the mushroom/mascarpone. We also tried the mushroom fondue it was rich and flavorful. For a sweet treat I tried the hot doughnuts with caramel, chocolate & vanilla glaze which was really good! The waitress Suzi was extremely helpful and patient with explaining items from the menu since it was our first time visiting, I can't wait to try more items from the menu!

Carol S.

Yelp
I'm so confused by Postino. I love going there. It's so close to home. I love the vibe. The food is good. But the last two times I went, I ordered the bruschetta where you get four different flavors on the bread. I even asked the waitress this time if $19.50 (approximately) was the full price for the order and she said YES. Yet, when I got the receipt last night as well as the time before, there is an extra charge on just about every item ordered, where I am charged separately for the topping. What is $19.50 if added fees are going to be tagged on for each item? It's happened twice to me--last night and a few months ago. This hidden fee practice makes me not want to return. Did I miss something on the menu pricing? It seems wrong to quote one price and then charge another. Otherwise, I enjoyed the place. Just confused by the pricing and "add ons" for toppings.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Came for their happy hour $7 glasses. Wasn't busy, and got the perfect amount of check-ins by the server. This was my first time at the Del Mar location and it's In a really boujee area with all the other nice restaurants and stores! We ordered the "warm" artichoke, brie apple, bacon bruschetta, and spicy goat cheese. They were all very good but the warm artichoke was quite cold :((( . Other than that, everything was fine. Cute set up
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Updating my review: so postino Del Mar has been open for a while now. Things are still going well over there. They did raise their happy hour (until 5 everyday) prices from $6 to $7 for wine and small pitchers of beer which I think is a steal - especially for the beers. They also have a bottle of wine and a board of bruschetta for $30 on Monday and Tuesday after 8... They raised the price on that too but it's still a solid deal. I went last night for the board and bottle deal. it seemed like they lowered the volume of the music which is a lot better. Also. The wine club is pretty good. You get a comp glass of wine monthly (wish it was two) and other perks... And they do let you swap out wines in the quarterly shipment. Cool spot
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
I love postino and the del mar location is really nice. They are located in the one paseo shopping district. They have a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. We came for drinks before 5 and was sad to see the prices increased to $7 instead of the $6 it used to be. Our waitress said it was changed for all of California back in May. That being said this place is still great. I got a pinot noir but was able to try a couple before I committed to a glass. My partner got the cab sauv and liked his. Service is so friendly and they were very nice to my pup. Love that they're so pet friendly.

Yelp
Brunch at Postino Del Mar was an absolute treat! We sat out in the beautiful patio. We tried the "What the French" -- a focaccia-style French toast soaked in a secret batter, baked in a cast iron skillet, and topped with toasted pecans, caramel drizzle, and a scoop of ice cream. It was warm, crunchy, sweet, and seriously unforgettable. We also had the P.R.E.A.M. BOWL loaded with warm heritage gains, grilled chicken and beef skewers, soft boiled egg, broccolini, avocado, parmigiano reggiano, romesco, and toasted hemp seeds. Fresh hearty and full of flavor - basically brunch goals. The vibe was relaxed, the delicious cucumber honey lemonade, and the service super friendly. If you're into creative twists on classics, this spot deserves every bit of its 5/5. Highly recommend adding this to your weekend brunch rotation!

Yelp
Great happy hour deals! We came and got the shrimp scampi, olives, nick's board, and the bruschetta board with brie apple and fig, smoked salmon and pesto, sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese, burrata bacon arugula and tomato. The scampi and olives I would skip next time, the scampi was okay and the olives weren't pitted (more of a personal preference since it made it hard to chat at the table). The bruschettas were all delicious and the smoked salmon with pesto and sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese were both my favorite. The boards were great to share and they also have a great happy hour deal on wine and beer! They even let me try a wine before committing to a glass, which I really appreciated. Definitely will be back to try more wine and boards!

Yelp
The food is so good! Came here for a work lunch and their flatbread selections were so delicious! I ended up ordering the chicken bowl and it was very good and healthy. Service is quick and they kept checking to make sure we were ok. This is such a cute place to grab brunch or have a work meeting. I would recommend this to anyone.

Yelp
Was walking around in One Paseo and stopped by with a friend at Postino for a small snack. We ordered the Chefs Charcuterie board which consisted of some cured meat, cheeses, whipped feta, charred artichoke, olive, roasted peppers, hummus, and crisp breads. The meats and cheese were of good quality and the crackers were crisp and yummy. Overall an above average charcuterie board. Will try the food here the next time.

Yelp
The place is very nice with a fun vibe. Very welcoming and the staff sat us quickly. Our waiter was thorough and knew the menu well and gave us great recommendations. We sat outside but even with a little cold air the fire next to was great. The meatball appetizer was a good size for two and was very tasty but different with the goat cheese. The salad was super tasty and loved how it was actually more of a chicken salad mixed with crunchy almonds and such. Not just chicken dropped on the salad. The nine iron was so tasty I almost wanted another half but I was full. Everything just was better than decent and when you have good food staff and ambiance. What more do ya need.

Yelp
This is a consistently good experience. The wait staff was great and the bruschetta board was delicious. The wine selection was good and the happy hour is very generous. The patio was nice and offered a nice outdoor experience.

Yelp
Seating was easy for a big party with a reservation. We came for brunch on a Sunday. I did want to mention that the price on the menu does NOT match the actual price. I ordered a Pream bowl off the brunch menu. Said it was $17.50 for chicken OR steak. I ordered the steak and the bill came out to my dish being $18 + $2 extra for steak option. The restaurant that afternoon was also very disorganized with them forgetting my friend's whole plate as well as getting a bruschetta option on the board wrong. But they were very accommadating by giving us wine on the house as well as a discount. The Pream bowl was nothing special, a bit lacking in flavor in my opinion. Yet the buschetta was very tasty. Bread was so good and soft. I defintely recommend the smoked salmon pesto and burrata, bacon, aurugula, tomato!

Yelp
Have visited a couple more times. This last visit I had received my $10 birthday voucher! that was such a nice surprise...i had no idea i would get that. I generally don't even use all the bday freebie's that come by email, but this was good one. hubby and i shared the cauliflower and a sandwich/fries. Both were amazing!!! we happened to be there during their famous $6 / glass wine happy Hour (basically all day before 5) so another great deal stacked on top of that! We started chatting with our server and he mentioned that he's a new Yelp elite!!! wow! so cool. so we chatted it up and I even saw him at an event later that week. looking forward to a return visit.

Yelp
Stopped by for a light meal and glass of wine. The bruschetta boards were perfect for this, where you pick 4 to make up the board. Perfect with a glass of wine. My son enjoyed the grilled cheese and side of tomato soup/dip. The service was great. We sat on the patio, where it seemed to have more room than inside. Very comfortable. We will definitely go to the one near us in OC.
google avatar

Sophia N.

Yelp
This is my new favorite place. The build your own board is a great deal and every single one I've tried is so good. My favorites are the apple fig and the bruschetta with bacon. The wine happy hour deal is so worth it. Came here for my birthday this year and will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Great for what it is, a quick casual lunch place. Hummus was decent but underseasoned Steak was under seasoned and had a char with a bad after taste Salads were excellent Service was a tad slow but pleasant

Yelp
I went for lunch with a group of girlfriends. Most of us got the bruschetta board which was incredible -- so flavorful and beautifully presented. Each topping had its own unique taste, and everything was fresh and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my new favorite spots to relax, enjoy great food, and share with friends.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning for brunch with a big party. Outside seating was pleasant and service was great. The bruschetta was an awesome item to share and all of the flavors were good- I got the salmon, mushroom, Brie, and tomato ones. And a west coaster sandwich, soup, and salad. Everything was fresh and good vibes. When it rained though mostly everyone moved indoors because outdoor only has umbrellas as sun cover and we had to move our own tables ourselves. Overall, good place for fresh American brunch fare, especially outdoors for a more quieter casual vibe.

Yelp
I've been to Postino in Little Italy a couple times but this was my first time at the one in One Paseo. Food was amazing as always - I got the select 2 with the nine iron panini with focaccia and green garden chicken cobb salad, and shared a bruschetta board between 4 people. Everything was delicious! I always love their food and the portions were great and filling. The only thing is that I would note was that I requested to remove cilantro from the salad which they said they could do, but I did still taste it in there. Service was very friendly, but at one point during the meal, it started raining and we were sitting outside. No one came to check on our larger party of 9 probably for about 10-15 minutes and they didn't offer to move us inside, but I did notice that they checked on other parties and had moved them inside. I think we would've appreciated an earlier check in and/or an offer to move (though I recognize our party was large), but our server kindly moved over an additional umbrella to help cover us from the rain. All, to say, I do love Postino and will still come back! It's also a great spot for groups to meet.

Yelp
I've really only been here for happy hour after work for a quick bite and a drink, but at $6 for a pitcher of beer or glass of wine, this has to be among SD's best HH deals. The pitcher is huge and pours out at least two pints of beer. They always have a pretty good selection of rotating beers on tap as well. And as a wine bar, Postino curates a wide selection of wines from all over. The bruschetta board is delicious and be on the lookout for the chef's seasonal selection. The staff is always great and gets out orders quickly. And another bonus is I've always seen them broadcast the padres on tv (both during the season, preseason, and offseason)!

Yelp
The Yelp Elite event brought us here the first time, and then their free bruschetta brought us here the second time. If you sign up for their postino club, you have 30 days to order your free bruschetta. Their ambiance and friendly service is what will bring us back for a third time! This spot hits for a night out; even the lighting is perfect. We enjoyed our bruschetta platter. Our favorite one so far is the brie, apple, and fig spread. We also enjoy the pepper jelly and goat cheese. We ordered their grilled cheese shareable, which comes with their delicious and creamy tomato soup. Their grilled cheese is sooo yummy with the melty goat cheese, gruyere, and white cheddar. By the way, their caprese panini and chips is a great plate. For dessert, we were intrigued with the hot donut holes. It is served with a chocolate sauce, vanilla glaze, and caramel sauce. The donut holes are made with ricotta, but we didn't really catch that flavor. Maybe it made the texture more like a pancake? Which isn't a bad thing because it was good, but it's not quite like a cake donut hole. My partner also thought a raspberry sauce would've added some freshness. So although it was good, I'm not sure I'd order it again.

Yelp
In the Del Mar area there are very few spots that are open past 9:30pm so when in this area we decide to stop at Postino for a night cap since we know they will be open and later in the evening it is easy to find parking in the structure. At night time this place is pretty dark inside with dim lighting everywhere. We grabbed some seats at the bar and were greeted by Mike who was super friendly and fun to talk to. We each just ordered a glass of wine but I always take a peak at the menu as well and it looked like there may have been some newer dishes that I have not seen before. Mike was amazing and really was the definition of a great bartender. See you again soon Postino!

Yelp
Just had a delicious dinner here! We did the $30 bruschetta flight with a bottle of wine and the crispy cauliflower which were all delicious! The crispy cauliflower was vegan and 10/10, highly recommend! We sat at the bar and JD and Carley served us and they were so kind! Delightful experience!

Yelp
I've been here so many times and taken so many people I should get commission. I just love it so much! They've got a great happy hour with $6 32oz pitchers and $6 glasses of wine (every day before 5 PM), and you can't even get a pint for that cheap anymore! They do get you with some of the food prices, but hey it's still worth it to me. Get a pitcher, a few bruschetta boards and have a good time. I've tried all of them, and you can't go wrong. Pick whichever ones sound good to you and enjoy. I personally am a big fan of the Brie, Apple & Fig one, as well as the Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese one. I was going to list more but I think you get the point by now. The Nick's board is great too, but I may be a bit biased You probably won't be stuffed but hopefully you'll be happy Staff are pleasant and it's always a good time here.

Yelp
Postino Del Mar We had the pleasure of lunch at Postino in the El Paseo center. We arrive a bit early for lunch but we were glad we had. By 12pm the restaurant was full indoors. The cool weather forced everyone indoors. It was too cold for outdoor seating so everyone needed to dine indoors. We did not realize that the Happy Hour is offered throughout the day until 5pm. There were three of us for lunch. Two of us ordered the 1/2 Panini 1/2 salad, one of our group ordered the salmon board. The meals were delivered promptly and they were excellent. I was surprised at how nicely the salad was prepared. My colleague was very pleased with the salmon board. Overall an excellent meal with great service.

Yelp
Paid by card. Postino is located in One Paseo and offers parking garage parking. I've been a couple times now and sat outside both days. (They offer indoor and outdoor seating.) The host and servers are always so nice. I like getting the half salad and tuna combo, creating my own board, and the Late August white wine. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back!

Yelp
I'm so happy I was finally able to make time to come here. A girlfriend and I had a catch up session, and what better way than to have some girl time with some wine, bruschetta board and charcuterie board to split? The location is ideal -- easy parking, amazing selection of wine and other items on the menu and the service was impeccable. Amazing cafe both inside and outside. We chose to be outdoor because the weather was amazing. We split the chef's charcuterie board and selected four different kinds of bruschetta. The Pinot noir we had was not pictured, but boy did we have a time. I definitely can't wait to come back here!

Yelp
This place is a vibe! Service is extremely fast & beyond friendly. This place has so many delicious items...I love their bruschetta board concept. You get to choose 4 of your own & they slice each toast into 4 pieces, ready to eat. I felt like such a princess! I would definitely come back here and sample their other toasts & paninis. My fiancè enjoyed the roast beef panini w/Brie cheese. He was drooling! And for those of you who are Gluten Free, you can get their spreads on gluten free bread, with an up charge of coarse.
