Postino WineCafé Is Poppin’ Bottles in San Diego’s Little Italy and Del Mar | Eater San Diego

"I can do the same at the One Paseo location in Del Mar, where the design draws on the Del Mar Turf Club’s 1930s Hollywood Regency period and the Del Mar Skate Ranch to marry skater vibes with Hollywood artifacts. The same seasonally rotating menu highlights bruschetta and charcuterie boards (including the bacon, arugula, and tomato board; warm artichoke spread; and mushroom and marscarpone bruschettas), along with soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and vegetable or chef’s-choice charcuterie and “table cheese.” The nationwide wine program curated by advanced sommelier Brent Karlicek offers exclusive in-house labels and winemaker collaborations, roughly 30 verticals by the glass, plus local beers on tap and a short list of classic cocktails. Local vintage pickers GoGo Modern, Mid Century Store, and Klassik also contributed to the One Paseo design. Happy hour goes until 5 p.m. daily with $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer, and hours mirror the Little Italy location." - Courtney E. Smith

New Restaurants and Bars Opening in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"Postino is expanding to San Diego with outposts at the mixed-use 2100 Kettner development in Little Italy and at One Paseo (across from its fire pit lounge), both serving an all-day, shareable menu open daily for lunch, dinner, and weekends that includes panini, salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards alongside a beer and wine list offering 30 wines by the glass." - Candice Woo

Really really good. Huge wine list and 6$ glasses all day until 5pm. Food was good. Something’s were memorable others were not. Really good were the meatballs, bruschetta board Staff were insanely knowledgeable about the menu and drink options but I feel they were short staffed or busy with big parties maybe I would come back here again and again 🥰 really great time. Definitely a snack and drink and hangout place

Postino Del Mar – Unbeatable Happy Hour Vibes We came to Postino Del Mar for happy hour, and it was simply unbeatable. The $7 pitcher of beer is an incredible deal, honestly hard to match anywhere else. They also offer a solid selection of wines, which adds to the laid-back yet refined atmosphere. We ordered a charcuterie board to go along with our drinks, it looked nice but was a bit underwhelming in flavor and variety. Still, the overall experience more than made up for it. The ambiance is fantastic, beautifully designed and full of good energy. Whether you're stopping by for a casual drink or a relaxed evening out, Postino Del Mar is definitely worth the visit.

Similar to the location downtown, but this location has more of a brunch in the suburbs vibe. The downtown location is more industrial looking. I got the Riesling I usually like and my friend and I shared the bruschetta board and the West coaster panini. For the board, we got the sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese, the burrata bacon arugula, ricotta dates and pistachio, and the mushroom with mascarpone. I had previously tried the goat cheese and the mushroom bruschetta and they were as good as the first time around. The ricotta was better than the burrata, but the burrata was surprisingly good. The sandwich was decent but I have had better paninis elsewhere. The service was ok. They were nice but not overtly friendly or anything. This is the closer location for me, so I will be back mainly for the board and the wine.

Postino was fantastic! Today, we tried the roasted cauliflower, hummus board, and crunchy hazelnut bar. We were blown away by roasted cauliflower, it was roasted perfectly with a flavorful sauce. Hummus board was equally good with two types of bread and onions, cucumber, mint, dill leaves, etc. To finish it up, hazelnut crunchy bar with peanut mousse for dessert was splendid!

Located in the One Paseo shopping district in Del Mar off Paseo Place, this restaurant has a fun, casual vibe to gather with family and friends. The menu has a variety of appetizers, bruschetta flavors, charcuterie, and paninis. We ate there for lunch on March 14. We ordered the roasted mushroom fondue with crostini (amazing!); bruschetta board with 4 flavors (12 options): prosciutto de parma, fig, mascarpone/smoked salmon, pesto/sweet n spicy pepper jam, goat cheese/salami, pesto (every flavor was delicious); Italian beef dip panini (YUM!); prosciutto and brie panini (WONDERFUL!); PREAM bowl w/ steak skewers (so good!); and the kids picnic meal (sliced chicken, grapes, cheese, apples, and chips). They provide crayons with the kids menu that has activities for kids to complete. They have happy hour deals on wine for $6 a glass and 32 oz beer pitchers for $6. The hostesses, servers, and manager will all friendly and personable. We found out that there is also a Postino’s near where we live and were very happy to learn that info. Parking at this location is available in the free garage. We did not have a reservation so we had to wait for 45 minutes when we arrived at 12:40. We walked around some of the nearby shops while we waited for the text that our table was ready.

Postino Del Mar is one of my new favorite spots. The restaurant itself is super cute and trendy while still being relaxed and chill. When it’s sunny out, their outdoor patio is perfect! They have wonderful service and great happy hour specials. All the food I’ve tried so far has been amazing. I absolutely love their bruschetta boards, they’re so fun and allow you to mix and match the flavors. Other items I’ve really enjoyed are the Crunchy Cauliflower, Roasted Mushroom Fondue, and the Nine Iron Panini. They also have amazing kids plates! I would highly recommend stopping by!

We went (8 adult and one kid) for late lunch. 9 for one table was little inconvenient. When I tried to make reservation online the option is for 6 people or less. Food was ok. Our group had sandwiches, Greek hummus board, Fish on board, skewers and I had raspberry chicken salad. Sandwiches and salad were like deli food. Our server was amazing. She had smile and very attentive.
