My group ordered a bunch of things to share. Overall, the charcuteries boards were tasty! They were a tad heavy on the bread but it was also delicious. The dessert with various dipping sauces was a highlight for us. The staff were very accommodating with requests for sides or extras of various items. The only con we all noticed was the music got quite loud after about 7/8PM to the point we had to kind of yell to hear each other. The vibe of the restaurant overall is very cozy and casual so that is a plus. The music volume took away from that just a tad. Overall, would definitely come back here. Tasty food, great service, and cozy!

Excellent food, atmosphere and super friendly service. The bruschetta was amazing! The wine choices exceeded expectations and well priced menu. I will definitely be back again!

We had a great happy hour here! We love Postino Boulder and were looking forward to trying the Austin location. Great drinks (& prices!) and delicious bites… the meatballs were especially delish! Very friendly service (from Tony, i believe?) in the lounge area last Saturday. Highly recommend 🌟

We had an amazing experience at El Postino on South Lamar! We tried a variety of their boards and dishes, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We started with the Brie Apple Pear Fig board and the Sweet and Spicy Pepper board — the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and a little heat. The Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato and the Salami & Pesto boards were also outstanding, packed with bold flavors and top-quality ingredients. The House Meatballs & Goat Cheese were a standout — tender, savory meatballs in a rich pomodoro sauce, paired perfectly with the creamy goat cheese and fresh focaccia. Absolute comfort food done right. We also loved the Shrimp Scampi — buttery, tender jumbo shrimp with artichokes and a kick from the Calabrian chilies, topped off with a light chablis spritz. It felt both decadent and fresh at the same time. Finally, the Chicken & Mozzarella Panini hit the spot — warm, melty, and super satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Perfect spot for a casual night out or a long, leisurely meal with friends. We’ll definitely be back!

Not just good food, it’s an experience. This was the perfect charming restaurant for an intimate girls night. We got to share appetizers and drink good wine. Definitely recommend Postino for something a little different.

Google
A stylish, relaxed spot with a standout wine list and must-try bruschetta boards—12+ flavor combos, with hits like goat cheese with pepper jam. Daily happy hour ($6 wine before 5 pm)! Ask for Tony—he’s friendly, knows the wines, and gives great pairing tips. Cozy patio, good vibes, perfect for a casual night out.

Last week, we celebrated Mother's Day here. The service was prompt and the meal was excellent. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere as well. The bruschetta and other types of board that we ordered were excellent. Overall, a positive experience.

Really chill spot with amazing food! Unique app options bursting with flavor! Parking garage attached and super easy to get in and out! We went for a birthday dinner and it was a great option!

Yelp
Food was overall great and unfortunately the service from Madison was sub par. Got sat outside and asked to get the heater turned on due to the fact that it was cold and we asked Madison to turn on the heater and automatically we were shut with "no the winds had been blowing it out all day". The wind was not blowing it out the tank was empty while there was 3 other heaters that she could have offered to switch but did not even try and by the end of the meal she finally replaced the tank. Also took her 10 mins to greet us and when she got the drink order it took another 20 mins for it to touch the table. I work service industry and me and my girlfriend were surprised with how she handled the situation almost immediately. Would come back but if the service is like that again, we won't bother coming back.

Yelp
The service was great, the food was incredible. The paninis are delicious, and definitely get the French toast ice cream situation! Also, great music.

Yelp
Upon arriving at Postinos they greeted me right away with great energy. The place was a more modern casual wine bar which is great! They played modern music and everyone seemed to be having a great time My server Kai did an amazing job letting me know about their selections and their 6$ dollar pitchers of beer during happy hour. The food came out so fast and all the servers made sure I was doing okay. All in all would come back here again!

Yelp
Postano South Lamar is a newer Austin gem that i'm happy I found! Whether you're in the mood for a cozy Italian dinner or just looking to unwind with an amazing happy hour, this spot delivers on all fronts. The food is outstanding--authentic, flavorful, and made with love. The meatball appetizer, bruschetta, and italian beef panini were all incredible. I'm told the soups are great too. But what really sets Postano apart is its incredible happy hour! You can't beat $6 beer pitchers and wine specials--it's hands down one of the best deals in town. Pair that with some appetizers or bruschetta and you've got the perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening with friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, I'm a bar guy but there is an outdoor patio with heaters and a beautiful fireplace. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. One experience with the General Manager left me feeling that this restaurant is very well run, he introduced himself, asked about my food, told me about the original Arizona location and his excitement to enter the ATX market. Whether you're here for a casual drink or a full meal, Postino wont disappoint. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Bug is the BEST served- ask for her. The food is perfect for an easy date or girls night. The rotating bruschetta boards are all yummy and the wine selection is nice, too.

Yelp
Love it here, we are always here lol Parking - covered garage, directly behind the restaurant with an elevator to go up Wine list - pretty decent wine list; they even have a non alcoholic wine! Wish they had one more option for that. Their orange wine is a fun choice Food - skewers and bruschetta are recommended. For bruschetta, the French onion has to be one of the options. Service - always friendly and attentive Space - inside area is modern outdoor area is comfortable but faces the busy street (luckily the music drowns out some road noise)

Yelp
Visited Postino a couple of months ago with Yelp and have been thinking about when I could return ever since. I finally made it happen this week, and am happy to report it was just as great as my first visit! I came with my friend and we split a bruschetta board (of course) with the French onion, prosciutto, warm artichoke spread, and burrata bacon and arugula bruschettas. To drink, I tried the Tré Cucumber cocktail and my friend ordered the espresso martini. The bruschettas were warm and tasty, with crunchy bread and delicious toppings. They could have used slightly more toppings on the two edge pieces of each bruschetta, but they were still good. My cucumber cocktail was very refreshing, and the espresso martini was perfect before a night out. We sat on the patio which was loud as expected (it fronts S. Lamar) but we still enjoyed the lively atmosphere and people (car?) watching. I think Postino is a great spot to meet up with friends for their great happy hour, or for snacks before going out to bars. The location is prime for South Austin, and the free parking is a real perk (not sure if it will remain free or if this is only while the building is under construction). Overall, I'd recommend Postino. My new favorite happy hour spot!

Yelp
Food was okay but the atmosphere was great. A table of us shared a caesar salad with the bruschetta board. The anchovies in the salad dressing were extremely fishy, per everyone at the table. Also it said garlic dressing so this felt even more wrong. I'm a huge caesar salad fan and I have never had this comment. Bruschetta was decent. Got the following 1. French onion, was cold but good flavor 2. Warm artichoke spread, decent 3. Sweet and spicy pepper jam, was my favorite. Great if you like a sweet and spicy jam 4. Burrata Bacon, this was was good as well Overall would go back for the ambiance, great for a group or a date, but wouldn't go back solely for the food. However am open to trying more.

Yelp
Absolutely love the ambiance of this restaurant. I wish the lights were a little brighter considering it was so dark at night. The service was ok. It took a long time for the server to make his way over to us and I found myself trying to signal him several times. Another irritating thing was the available wine list wasn't updated so every time I looked over the menu to try to find a bottle to purchase, the server told me it wasn't available (this happened with like 10+ bottles I was inquiring about). Going to give them another shot because I had to join the wine club so I will of course be returning to pick up my wine lol. I would give 5 stars alone for the wine club as it's such a great deal and features 4 different wines, along with a bunch of other specials upon signing up. I would def recommend the wine club to anyone interested.

Yelp
I was here for a work sponsored happy hour and it was a great time! There was about 40 of us and Postino gave us the back room. There were plenty of tasty hors d'oeuvres and small desserts, and someone at a table pouring glasses of red and white wine for us. The employee who was assigned to us (I wish I remembered his name!) was extremely kind, fun, and knowledgeable about the wine selection. Postino let us spill out to the patio when the room got full which was nice. The music on the patio was too loud so I hope they adjust that. Overall really nice experience and I'll be back!

Yelp
I can honestly say I've loved everything I've tried so far at Postino. We visited on New Year's Eve because they have a special on Mondays and Tuesdays that after 8 PM, a board of bruschetta and a bottle of wine is only $25! My absolute favorite item on the menu is the mushroom fondue. It's rich and creamy and I love it. Their bruschetta boards are legit. They have a variety of options to choose from. You get four pieces on each board. They cut each piece into four slices to make it easy to share. My favorites are the Brie apple fig, the prosciutto, and the tomato bacon arugula. We also ordered Nick's charcuterie board and everything on it was delicious. We especially loved the pretzel and the pimento cheese spread. Both bottles of red wine we tried were solid choices. Service has been great. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
First, before you even head to Postino, make sure to sign up for their newsletter! By doing so, you'll get a FREE Bruschetta Board to redeem when you come in. If that doesn't persuade you, here are a few more reasons to visit: Happy Hour is EVERY day--from opening until 5 PM, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a PITCHER of beer for $6 each. If you miss happy hour, that's not a problem. After 8 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays, you can grab a bruschetta board and a bottle of wine for just $25. Clearly, the Bruschetta Board is the star of the show and the perfect starter for your group. I've been here a few times, and my personal favorites are: 1) French Onion 2) Prosciutto di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone and 3) Brie, Apple & Fig. I had no idea I was such a fan of fig--but now I can't get enough! It balances the salty richness of the bread with just the right touch of sweetness. Parking was a breeze, as Postino has its own private lot--though that might change once the building expands.

Yelp
Postino South Lamar has a great low-light dining atmosphere, where it serves different drinks alongside toppings on toasted bread. We got the Bruschetta board, and it comes with an interesting selection of flavors, of which I would recommend the prosciutto and salmon ones. Overall, the taste was great but the Bruschetta board is more of a tasting menu rather than an actual meal (you probably won't be full). I will say for the area, the parking is really easy and they have a nice parking garage on the lower level.

Yelp
I used to love visiting the Postino's location in The Heights while living in Houston, and I'm thrilled to say the South Lamar spot in Austin does not disappoint! The service here is always top-notch. I've been three times now, and every visit has been exceptional. During a recent bottle-and-board night, they even treated our birthday group to a surprise dessert, which was a thoughtful touch. The Centario Cabernet was a standout for me, pairing well with their bruschettas--honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Highly recommend for their $25 bottle & board deal on Monday and Tuesday nights after 8:00pm. The patio is lovely, though it's a bit close to the sidewalk. Adding a greenery wall or some plants could make it feel more secluded. Inside, the ambiance is cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out. Cannot recommend enough for anyone looking for great wine and delicious food.

Yelp
I had been to Postino in Denver before, so when I heard they were expanding to Austin, I knew the city was in for a treat. I first visited during their friends & family event, and I loved the experience so much that I've already been back twice! If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, I recommend the bruschetta board paired with your favorite bottle of wine. With 12 bruschetta options to choose from, you can't go wrong but my personal favorites were the prosciutto and French onion. If you're craving something more substantial, the West Coaster panini is an excellent choice. It's hearty and comes with your choice of soup or salad. As a wine bar, Postino truly shines with its extensive, seasonally rotating selection of wines from around the world. I tried the Stagedive Pinot Noir from California, which was light yet had enough body to make it memorable. A fun tip: all glasses of wine are just $6 every day until 5 PM! For those not in the mood for wine, they also offer a selection of beer and cocktails. The ambiance at Postino is warm and inviting, with a cozy color scheme and unique design elements, like their eye-catching keychain wall. There's also a lovely patio with heaters, perfect for Austin's chillier nights. The service was fantastic and really rounded out the experience. I'm already looking forward to becoming a regular and can't wait to see what future expansions they have in store!

Yelp
Came here around 7 on a Friday night and it was JUMPING. We were quoted a 45 minute wait for an inside table and ended up waiting just over an hour. Note: tables on the patio and seats at the bar were turning over much faster and the hostesses offer those as they come up. I also like I can track my place online. They do have a little cute seating area to wait with waiter so we just sipped a cocktail while waiting. I went because of a Yelp elite perk, so unfortunately I can't rate the items I got for free but we did order and pay for a round of wine (Tempranillo and a Zinfandel) as well as the mushroom fondue starter and Nick's board- which is like a German type board with sausages and mustard and pimento cheese. RUN don't walk for that mushroom fondue- it was so rich a thick and melty and seasoned perfectly. My only critique is that they give you a nice hearty cup of it and just 4 measly little pieces of bread. Thank gosh for the lard having pretzel bread on it to use because the fondue to bread ratio was not right. I did enjoy our board but you get 4 teeny tiny, like smaller than a mini hot dog sausage pieces and only three of the other sausage. Plenty of the pimento cheese which I felt was really good but I would expect a bit more meat for the price point. I love the corn nuts but they just scatter them across the board to take up space and they kept falling off and again- take up space that should have meat! I did loooove the peppers on there. I would order again because it's unique. Service was quick and friendly- would absolutely come back here again esp for their board and bottle nights!

Yelp
Starting off the year right! This place was recommended by our friends and it did not fail! Such an amazing place for "Snacky Things" and needed drinks. Starting off with the parking, which is located in the back of the building plenty of space, take the elevator or stairs. Free and very convenient! Began my journey with an expresso martini, 10/10. At first it looked strong, but the smell was very sweet. Every sip was strong with a bit of sweetness. One of the best I've had! We didn't know it was happy hour before 5pm! $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer. I had to get us aka me a pitcher! Food was delicioussss. Started with the board which is cut up into 4 slices. We ordered and ranked in this order (French Onion, Warm Artichoke, Apple Fig Spread and Bacon Tomato. We also tried the "OMG grilled cheese" indeed it was OMG. Along with Skewers, very soft which was a great choice!

Yelp
The indoor restaurant space is so aesthetically pleasing and well decorated with beautifully arranged wine bottles, colorful chandeliers and a large, open seating area. We ordered the pick 4 bruschetta board, mushroom fondue, a glass of wine and beer pitcher. The food was delicious with my favorite bruschetta being the fig pistachio. What a delightfully different taste! Our server was very attentive and fun to talk to :) Highly recommend this spot for your next date night.

Yelp
The vibe here strikes a perfect balance between modern and cozy, with a lively energy that's ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual date night. The standout menu item is definitely their bruschetta boards, offering a variety of creative and flavorful options. My favorites were the Chef's Choice--almond hummus with tomatoes--and the mushroom mascarpone. Both were absolutely delicious! For drinks, we ordered a $6 beer pitcher and a glass of red wine. I'm still amazed at the $6 beer pitcher--that's roughly three glasses of beer! I'd definitely come back here for happy hour without hesitation.

Yelp
I've always said it, Austin needs more well priced wine bars. My prayers have finally been answered! This place is amazing - spacious great atmosphere for girls night or date night, vast wine and snacks/food options, well priced and great service. The parking was easy and free in the garage too! Really nothing more a girl could ask for. Ps. The French onion bruschetta was phenomenal, it's like someone transported a warm French onion soup onto a nice piece of toast

Yelp
"Drinking wine at lunch is not a crime!" I love their slogan and I definitely partook in "wine-thirty." I am a HUGE fan of Postino and have been to all six locations in Houston. I am so happy that Postino finally opened in Austin! No matter which location I visit, I always have a wonderful experience. Parking: The parking garage is currently under construction, however it is free to park (for now at least). There's plenty of signs in the garage to guide you to the entrance of the restaurant. I love that every location has a unique themed art wall. Postino SoLa has a wall full of keychains! There are so many and the wall is huge! I actually had fun looking at some of the different keychains. The decor overall was just really cool and on brand with Postino. Nathan was our main server, however all of the staff shares tables. Nathan was so sweet and helpful with suggestions. He also asked if we had any food allergies or dietary restrictions which we appreciated. The menu is basically the same across each location, though I think there may be some slight variation with the wine offerings. I've had many of the menu items and I've enjoyed just about everything I've tried. I went with one of my faves: the Tuscan Tuna on Ciabatta. My mom had the Caprese Panini on Ciabata. We both opted for the side salad over chips. I tasted a bite of the Caprese and it was delicious. In addition to the Tuscan Tuna, one of my other faves is the Smoked Salmon. So delicious! Wine: Take advantage of the free samples! There were some wines on the menu that I've had before (Perfekt Riesling, Ebbio Sparkling Rosé, Altura Rosé). I sampled the Famille Perrin White Blend and the Stolpman Love You Bunches Orange Wine. Orange wine is hit or miss for me. I didn't really care for this one, but I liked that they had an orange wine on their menu. I ended up ordering the White Blend as well as the Leitz Einz Zwei Zero Sparkling Rosé. The zero proof rosé was actually very good! My mom took my suggestion and went with the Ebbio which she enjoyed. If you aren't a wine drinker they do have a full bar as well as NA options including delicious lemonades and teas. The Cucumber Honey Lemonade is so tasty and refreshing! Nathan informed us that they will start serving brunch in mid December. If you visit during weekend brunch, be sure to try a Bellini as that is the only time they're offered. Other helpful tips: -Bottles to go are $20 which is a steal! You can usually get your bottle chilled or room temp. Nathan informed me that the bottle of White Blend that I ordered was room temp which was perfectly fine because I wasn't planning to drink it immediately. -Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 pm are $25 board and bottle ($35 for premium bottles of wine). I love this special and you can also order this to go! The smoked salmon bruschetta is my absolute favorite! -We went at lunch time and they had HH prices for the wine and beer which was a nice surprise. They offer $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer until 5 pm daily! -If you order a bottle of wine while dining in and aren't able to finish it, they will recork it for you. -They're open late! 11pm during the week, 12a on Fridays and Saturdays. My mom and I had a lovely time and we are already planning another visit soon. Thank you Postino SoLa for a wonderful lunch! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Postino, Austin, claps, claps, claps. I'll admit, I had low expectations due to the nature of Postino being a chain. Regardless, I was excited to try the new location here on South Lamar. Staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in, confirming that parking is free until January 1. Hopeful that parking will be validated after that date... Cool decor, one side of the restaurant offering a more laid back environment and the other side offering more of a cozy environment (appropriate for both hang out and date nights). Check out the hundred of keychains, hanging as wall paper! Very 90s nostalgia. Bartenders Timothy and Andrew were awesome. Both very knowledgeable about the menus, wine and food, and providing exceptional recommendations. Without asking, we were offered to try a sample before making our final wine choice. We, honestly, look forward to returning to the bar seats! The Bruschetta Boards are quite dense (in a good way), meeting the value of the price. It's clear that the restaurant values customer input, as some of the choices were inspired by customer feedback and preferences. Such as the French Onion Bruschetta (my personal favorite). Favorites: - French Onion - Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil - Prosciutto di Parma, Marscopone - Burrata, Bacon, Arugula, Tomato Oh, and don't sleep on the Skewers (served with one steak and one chicken, on top of a bed of house-made Tzatziki). We will be back to try to the meatballs and other glasses of wine soon. Pro Tip: Happy Hour until 5 PM, $20 bottle of wines after 8 PM and an end of the season Vintage sale. Postino makes it a priority to give their guests a good wine experience at an affordable price. If you're wanting wine, they may even have Trader Joe's and HEB beat for the value. Cheers, Postino!

Yelp
I first discovered this place through Yelp and have been wanting to come back ever since. They stay busy! Even on a Thursday evening with a 7 PM reservation, the place was packed. Our server was attentive and fun, adding to the great experience. You have to get the bruschetta boards--ordering three lets you try all the flavors, which is perfect for a group of 3-4 girls along with 1-2 sides. We went with the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was so good--highly recommend! The atmosphere is lively and a bit loud, with lots of people celebrating. There was a large group party in the back, and I couldn't help but notice the walls covered in keychains--I'll have to look up the meaning behind that. The food was delicious, and I loved how the bruschetta was cut into easy-to-eat slices that didn't fall apart--just two bites per piece. We also got dessert and literally fought over the last bite--a rich, fudgy brownie with vanilla ice cream. They're known for their wine selection, so I treated myself to a glass of bubbly. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual and fun night out with friends. Oh, and as of this review, garage parking is free!

Yelp
What a great girls night with nice staff, beautiful vibes and delicious food! I was able to sample wines until I found exactly what I wanted. Got a fresh Chardonnay! And for my bruschetta boards I tried (and in favorite order) 1. Burrata, bacon, arugula, tomato (perfect traditional vibes with fresh ingredients) 2. Sweet n spicy pepper jam & goat cheese (soooo different but soooo good) 3. Fresh mozzarella, tomato & basil (also very traditional and fresh) 4. Salami and pesto (different but great for lovers of pesto, I do wish it was more pesto) Cannot wait to go back for date night or girls night!

Yelp
Visited on their opening week and was so excited to find a beautiful, comfy patio right on south Lamar. The menu includes a lot of sharables, tapas style, and the prices are fair to go and split with friends. For the 2 of us, 4 glasses of wine, a board, and 2 snacky things (that's how they call it), we were at ~$50/person. Honestly not bad for ATX. Let me tell you about our order. Some were a little bland, I think a little more cheese wouldn't hurt The board included: * BURRATA, BACON - just ok, not enough burrata * my least favorite SWEET N' SPICY PEPPER JAM & goat cheese, I couldn't taste any goat cheese * PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA, FIG - yummy * SMOKED SALMON & PESTO was my favorite Next time I want to try the French onion and the mushrooms and mascarpone For the snacky things we go the shrimp scampi and I would happily skip that next time but I would FOR SURE get the mushroom fondue again, more please!! Bathe me in it! Overall it was a lot of bread and we were full. I would love to try more of their menu! The wine was also reasonable and they had a really good list. Their cocktails looked good and I look forward to that. It finally got chilly in ATX and we were chilly by end of night. I hope they add heaters soon, but at least they had a nice fire with comfy couches. The parking situation is also a big bonus, it's always hard to park on south Lamar but they have a big covered parking lot. I look forward to being back!

Yelp
The vibes of this place is really top tier. I would say the ambiance doesn't match the menu but that is a good thing - they stand out! You can wear chill clothes or even upscale clothes for a date/birthday night!! The service I received was between a few people but would prefer just one server but they were all nice! I recommend coming here for their wines/drinks and the boards! Loving the Salmon pesto and artichoke bruschetta! Everyone raved about the apple one but it just didn't sit right with my taste buds. The coffee brownie was a bit dry to me so I would skip out on that. Other than that I really enjoyed this place!

Yelp
Loved this place! Came here to try their toast board (around $18) and they were all amazing. I shared it with a friend and it was more of a snack vs a meal, but if I ate it all to myself I think I would be satisfied. The staff were very friendly and helpful when deciding the flavors you want and the restaurant is beautiful decorated. There were a lot of different items to choose from as well as wines and different beverages. I had the prickly pear lemonade which was really good as well. Sweet but sour. One thing I would request is for the spicy jam and goat cheese bread, there be more jam since the goat cheese was overpowering the flavor of the jam, but that may be a personal preference. Overall amazing and will be back!

Yelp
Love how they decorated the place! Feels very warm and inviting; a place to catch up with friends or have a date night. There's an outdoor patio (with heaters) and a bar top to sit at. I had the bruschetta board and the Mixed Green Salad (took this to-go). You're able to get 4 bruschetta's on the board and it's definitely a "for the table" option. The 4 I picked were, 1) French Onion, 2) Brie Apple Fig, 3) Smoked Salmon Pesto, 4) Mushroom Marscapone. I loved the French Onion and Mushroom Marscapone! Postino will now be on my list of South Austin options and I'm looking forward to trying more items on their menu! PS: There was a stamp on my to-go bag that said beer pitchers and glasses of wine were $6 before 5pm. RUN!

Yelp
Hooray, what a great find - thanks Yelp for directing us here. The restaurant is super cute and the service from our server (Jackson) all the way to management staff was terrific. The menu is not what we expected, but in a good way. It is heavy on sandwiches and boards and bruschetta and that actually works great, especially in an area like South Lamar. We actually ended up joining their wine club because they had a special going and it will give us a good excuse to come back at least three more times over the next year. And a giant A+ for having easy, free, covered parking! Pro tip: like a glass of wine you had? Take a bottle home, almost all of them are 20 bucks to go. I particularly liked the Holly's Way Chardonnay.

Yelp
I went to Postino for the Yelp Elite deal and was pleasantly surprised. I love a tapas style dinner and Postino was great because it had a good mix of both mains and shareable items. The decor is amazing, it's perfect for a girls night out or date night. They also have a few happy hours worth taking advantage of - $6 wine until 5pm and bottle and board Tuesdays. Food: We got the bruschetta board, meatballs, and skewers. My favorite bruschetta was the prosciutto and fig. It's the perfect sweet and savory and sweet. The meatballs were amazing, especially if you're a goat cheese fan. The skewers weren't my favorite, I would pass on those if I were to go again. Service: Everyone I spoke to was amazing! Everyone was very attentive and welcoming. The manager, Adriana, even came over to our table to check in and offer her suggestions. Parking: There's a garage behind the restaurant with plenty of spots.

Yelp
- 4 all gender bathrooms - music is a bit loud, place is a bit loud as well in the evening, will have to yell to have conversations but maybe that's a part of the vibe - happy hour seems worth it but only lasts until 5pm - service was kind but not very attentive, don't expect them to refill your water when it's empty, but do expect decent conversation and a few joke The board was absolutely delicious. Perfect arrangement of flavors and textures. It was so hard to pick a flavor because they complement each other all very nicely. I didn't expect to like the sweet n spicy pepper jam with goat cheese but it was a perfect combination. I'm so excited to go back and try different combinations of boards.

Yelp
So happy we have a Postino's now! They have the best $6 glass of wine/pitcher of beer happy hour!! Parking - you can park in the parking structure attached Ambiance - cute interior with lots of space, we sat outside on the patio since it was nice out. There is 1 fire place outside. Food/Drink - went for their happy hour - such a deal! i had two glasses of a rosé that I loved, and we shared their Burrata plate and sweet potato fries, super yum. Service - waiters were friendly, service was fast when we first arrived but slower towards the end but we did not mind as our group was chatting away. Will be frequenting this spot a lot and need to try out one of their boards!

Yelp
There was some confusion with the staff/host? Was kind of awkward. I got there before my larger group, asked if I could still sit before they arrived to work and that I'd utilize a free board I had. She checked me in, told me to let my server know, and let me take the front couch area which was perfect.... 15 minutes later I still had not even been greeted. I walked back up and asked if that spot had a dedicated server or if I needed to put in my order somewhere specific as I have never been here before. I got "oh, would you like something now?" Uhhhh, yes? Even if she assumed I wanted to sit there for 30 minutes without ordering, the server should have still checked in, confirmed and introduced themselves, water perhaps ‍ Then it got weirder, the host then came over and set a happy birthday card on my table.... No one's birthday, never mentioned a birthday, never asked if it was my birthday. Then halfway through the main meal with 7 other friends comes over and interrupts asking what name my reservation was under. What?? So awkward. We had already been there for a while and multiple boards and bottles deep. The wine was great and the boards delicious! Can't beat the $25 bottle and board on Mondays and Tuesdays!! Jackson once started was great! Overall, I'll likely try again. Side note: The chandelier looks like attached together used crack pipes as well which was entertaining

Yelp
I'm happy I found Postino. MUST TRY: bruschetta board, a solid 5/5 stars. This is probably the best on their menu. The portion is decent and all the different options are incredible. My husband doesn't like goat cheese but he loves their goat cheese bruschetta for some reasons. Just try out all options on their menu. It won't disappoint you. 3/5 stars for the Sweet potato wedges: I wish it has been more crispy on the outside. 4/5 for the panini Tuscan tuna: it's good but can't compare with the bruschetta. The wine selection is good as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and polite. The place is good for a date night or a group.

Yelp
AMAZING. Bruschetta is one of my favorite Italian Antipastos, and let me tell you this establishment does everything very well. Each item on the board I ordered was amazing, the one with Mascarpone, Pistachio, and Figs was very nice. Highly recommend coming here to enjoy food in a relaxed environment, with very friendly staff. The service was outstanding! Will come here again to try more menu items!

Yelp
I've been to Postino 3 times now. I love this spot. It's very chill and the staff are attentive and friendly. Their bruschetta board is a must try! There are so many options. We also had the grilled cheese and tomato soup dip which was so yummy gooey and warm. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
YES times a million. I am SO glad this location is finally open. Was a regular at the Heights location in Houston for years after it opened and missed it IMMENSELY after moving to Austin in 2021. I fully expect to make regular stops here, too. We sat on the patio. The service could use an uptick but realize it might be slow to start having just opened. It wouldn't keep me from coming back. Ordered a board immediately and savored every bite. I haven't had the Hi-Rise sauv blanc since my time in H-Town and it brought back so many good memories with old friends that I miss dearly. So excited to share Postino with my Austin friends. Traffic is louder than I wanted it to be but that's sitting on any patio on South Lamar, I guess. Ample parking which is hard to come by. Love the decor. Love how huge the bar is. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
I'd been to Postino in Denver, Colorado and enjoyed their happy hour, so I was excited to see Postino opening in Austin! I think this is going to be a great addition to the South Lamar neighborhood (though I think that area needs more like this, perhaps something to reduce the speed of traffic to really become a destination). Tonight was part of their soft opening and I think the staff impressed. When I walked through the front door, I was greeted w/ a really lively atmosphere. If anything it was too loud (but much better than being dead). Initially I asked to sit outside, but after checking the temperature, asked to switch to inside, which the staff happily accommodated. I hope they add a few heaters and maybe some hedges to improve the outside atmosphere, but I'm sure they'll continue to improve their already nice patio. We had the smoked salmon board, half caprese panini/half brussels salad, and shrimp scampi. The scampi was the highlight! Well-cooked shrimp (not overcooked), tasty artichoke & calabrian chili pan cooked in butter. A few pieces of toasted bread. Overall really flavorful with a pleasant hint of spice The smoked salmon is also on the "recommend" list. Two ways: cold smoked (think lox & bagel) & hot smoked (like we normally do to brisket), with some pickled onion, cornichon, capers, whipped feta, cucumber & a tiny side salad. Definitely something to look into if you're a smoked salmon fan. The caprese & Brussels salad were fine (Brussels seemed healthy - it was mostly kale), I'd probably try something else next time around. I'm a beer drinker, and that's what I order to quench my thirst. Postino does have a very good local and national draft list. The key here is happy hour: $6 32oz pitchers until 5pm?! There is no better deal in Austin My girlfriend tried 2 cocktails, which were a bit watery, but we're delivered very quickly and were not too sweet, just like she ordered. All in all, we'll be back! Probably for happy hour, on a nice day, on the patio

Yelp
Do you like toast? How about Hipster toast? Tis good! I'm pretty simple and got some of the avacado, Brie. This was really good. But it's not my kinda spot personally. After all I have a toaster.

Yelp
Man, I love Postino! Their happy hours are literally the best. If you go before 5pm, they have $5 wine glasses, half off wine bottles, and $6 pitchers of beer! It's a great way to try new wines out- I got the orange wine and loved it! The service is always amazing and everyone is so kind. Can't wait to go back :)

Yelp
The decor is gorgeous, especially the light fixtures. Service was prompt and attentive. The roast beef sandwich was delicious, and the au jus served with it was amazing. The chips were not great- bland and not very crispy.

Yelp
5-stars for the amazing ambiance! I recently visited Postino on South Lamar to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! My order: Bruschetta Board: Fig spread with apple (must-try) Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Warm Artichoke Spread (must-try) Burrata, Arugula & Tomato Panini paired with soup Hazelnut bar (dessert) Though we waited about 30-45 minutes for a table, the lively ambiance and friendly atmosphere made the time fly by. Once seated, we kicked off our meal with their signature Bruschetta Board, selecting four unique flavors: Fig spread with apple, Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Warm Artichoke Spread Burrata, Arugula & Tomato. Each bite was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We continued with a delicious panini paired with soup, which was hearty and satisfying. For dessert, we couldn't pass up the hazelnut bar, which was decadently rich and the perfect way to round out our meal. Parking was easy with their private lot, but I imagine it could get busier as the area develops further. Overall, Postino was a wonderful choice for my wife's birthday celebration. The delicious food, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
I love Postino! I went to a Postino in Arizona about 7 years ago and I'm so happy we have one in Austin now. Pick a bottle, build a bruschetta board to your liking, pick a few additional snacks and have a great time!! The prices are very reasonable. You can really relax here for a lunch or a charcuterie type dinner. They have free garage parking which makes the whole experience easier. There is a giant wall of keychains you could spend hours looking through, and it's also a really cute conversation starter. I've already notified all my friends that Postino is our next meet up!

Yelp
As of this writing, this place has been open for about a month and there is still a lot of construction going on next to it in the form of new apartments. This place has the right formula going for it, attentive staff, quality food, and reasonably priced drinks. It is also spacious with lots of seating inside and outside with plenty of parking behind the place. So if you're coming from the burbs, you won't have to drive around the neighborhoods looking for a kiosk to plug your credit card into. They definitely have the art of making great bruschetta with some fine wine to partner with. The menu is not extensive, but it is eclectic and fresh. Great vibe with pleasant music playing overhead, but not too loudly. Definitely a great neighborhood asset for all those folks that live in all the new apartments in the immediate area. 10 photos included.

Yelp
Postino is a chain that started in Arizona. I've been to a couple of locations across other states and was overjoyed to see that we were finally getting our own. Right in the heart of downtown off of south Lamar sits the new location. They have a lovely patio with fireplaces & umbrellas, indoor seating, and bar top space. Not to mention, free parking garage! We were sat right away, and our server Jackson was awesome for all recommendations and making sure we were taken care of! We ordered a glass of the New Zealand sav blanc, and a beer. For mains we shared a bruschetta board which is what they're known for, along with nicks board, and a Brussels sprout salad. The salad ALWAYS hits. Seriously wish I could eat this every day. For bruschetta they have tons of flavors but we narrowed down to artichoke, Brie/fig/apple, burrata/bacon/kale, and a pesto & salami. The bread itself is so light with the perfect crunch, but the toppings are really what makes it. The Brie was my favorite I think, felt like a ratatouille moment with all the flavors combined, but honestly you can't go wrong. Nicks board is like a southern comfort with pimento, pretzels, sausage, pickles & popped corn nuts. The pretzels & pimento are some of the best I've found in the area. Somehow some way- it's gets BETTER! They have a happy hour every day of the week from open until 5pm with $6 glasses of wine, and $6 pitchers of beer. Needless to say... we'll be back this weekend. Cheers y'all!

Yelp
Came for a Yelp elite event but also ordered a prickly pear margarita and a Nick's board to split for our date night! This place is trendy and classy, perfect for a date night or girls/guys night out. It's a bit louder because it's busy, but still manages to feel intimate. We arrived around 7:30 on a Thurs and there was a 40 min wait for two, but the servers kept us hydrated in the comfy lounge area and the hostess checked in with us, which made the time pass quickly. We love bruschetta and snacky boards for date night because we can try so many different items. Both the food and drinks were pretty affordable, and well worth the price. Truly though, our server Xias made our night by being so genuinely down-to-earth and making us laugh throughout the night. Such a great experience, and one that makes us eager to return!

Yelp
Four stars might be a little generous considering the service wasn't awesome, but the boards were fantastic and the drink specials were great. It's a very trendy almost hipster vibe, which isn't my favorite, but they also aren't kicking someone out for wearing sweats so very Austin. Our table tried dang near all their boards and there wasn't one that anyone refused to eat. The mushroom, the salmon, and the caprese were the table favorites. There was a wine professional in our group and she was impressed with the wines offered on their half off bottles menu. They also have a full bar and the old fashioned was well-made. On a night with better service, this place might verge on 5 stars, but they need to up their service game to match their food. The affordability pushed them to 4 stars for me.
