Old New York style for a very nice restaurant. Nice and quiet with good value for food. Go for a very thin crust pizzas. Comfortable place. For newyorkers. No much tourists.

Most underrated pizza place! The happy hour deal is incredible and so is the everyday value of their pizza. The most prime ratio of thin crust to generous toppings make for a great pie. Don't sleep on the apps - the buratta is solid!

The meat lovers pizza and fresh salad were superb. The service was excellent, and the bread pudding is absolutely a must‑have.

Have always loved this place. Its has gone down hill tremendously. Ordered half shiitakes and half kalamata. Not good. I could barely taste anything but the toppings. I wanted got taste the cheese, sauce and dough. Sadly all I got was shiitakes. I literally had to scrape off the mushrooms because their were way to many. I won’t say anymore. I’ll stick to the plain pizza there because they obviously haven’t mastered the art of making a pie

I recently tried their 9" Shroomtown pizza, and it was outstanding. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp, providing the ideal base for a generous amount of sautéed mushrooms. Each bite is packed with rich, earthy flavors that complement the cheese beautifully. At just $20, it's a great deal considering the quality and quantity of toppings. The mushrooms are abundant. Whether you're a mushroom fan or just love great pizza, this dish is a must-try. Highly recommend!

There are so many different styles of pizza throughout the city and this is a great place if you're into thin crust pizza. The place is small but they have outdoor seating that you can enjoy if the weather is nice. We were a party of 3 and ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, classical, and shroomtown pizza. All of the food was delicious! The salad was delicious, I only wish there was more goat cheese. The mushroom pizza was a so flavorful and the truffle oil enhanced the flavor of the mushrooms. The service was good and prices are reasonable for the area. I'm looking forward to returning and getting the mushroom pizza again.

I can't say too much about the service since I took the pizza to go, but inside it was very intimate and a cute vibe. I want to come again to dine in. My friends and I shared a large pizza splitting the Margherita and the mushroom flavors. OMG the mushroom itself gets a 5 star for me. The pizza was the perfect amount of thin, but the mushrooms were absolutely fantastic. There was perfect sauce to topping to crust ratio. It's nice to find a local spot close to you and I will probably only get the mushroom next time.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and regret I haven't posted anything on YELP before. I just can't say enough about Fernando who has been our server for as long as I can remember. Fernando is outstanding, attentive to every detail and makes us feel at home. Also, compliments to Mauro who is also a main stay at the restaurant. The pizza, salad, drinks, atmosphere and staff are exceptional. The pizza is thin, crispy, and sooooo delicious. The restaurant and staff are like family and go above and beyond. We have had retirement parties, birthday celebrations and our usual once or twice a week pizza/salad at Posto. A nice happy hour wand more keeps us coming back for more. Thank you! V

I'm not much of a pizza guy. Discovered this place about five or six years ago when I visiting some one in the area. Have been coming here for some years now when I'm in the area. Usually I'm further south and do not frequent as often. But when I get a yen for pizza this is my go to place in NYC for THIN crust pizza - the thinest & crustiest. Very unpretentious place, clean & comfortable, service is very courteous & polite, unlike many other NYC establishments. So, son and I ordered a thin crust personal size (9 inch, we thought it would be enough - HA!) mushroom & onion pizza. It finally arrived, we woofed it. The waitress came about to clean the table & asked - another? YES!!! My new FAVORITE pizza spot! Saw from my cab window en route to another pizza place for lunch and immediately asked him to stop BEST decision I made! Pizza was amazing delicious! Extremely crispy and paper thin Absolutely Loooove the thin style pizza! My server was Mauro who was very friendly and attentive I will take the ferry into NYC just to go to Posto now The pizza was that good!

Pizza at Posto is consistently delicious. I have been eating here since they opened. Our tradition for July 4th is to pick up a pizza and share it with two neighbors. This is again what we did this year. A large pizza, half with mushrooms and truffle oil and the other with pepperoni, was ordered in person which we find is far better than placing an order via the apps. The aroma while walking home is yummy. We took it to the apartment and savored each slice with a bottle of Husch dry Gewurtzraminer. The wine made the pizza sparkle. Eden always likes the shroom pizza. My favorite is the white pizza showered with arugula. Carole likes everything. Not only is it attractive but it's jolly tasty too.

Came here to meet a friend for lunch while being in town. He recommended this spot as the best thin crust pizza. I was not disappointed with the flavor of the plain pie. The pricing is reasonable. It is a small spot great for quick meals. Staff was friendly as well .

This pizza is sooo good and thin crust! The service is mediocre, I think we were seated in a spot where the waiter couldn't see us though. The pizza with the green apple is so good and a must try. Very cute neighborhood spot.

Was a great experience to eat here. Honestly the food was quite good, got the chipotle pizza but didn't realize it had pineapples on it. I like pineapples, so it was a pleasant surprise. Ambiance was nice, went during lunch time. Food took a while to come out the thin crust was really good.

This really should be a 3.5 star review. Because I do adore Posto for how thin their pizzas are. I consider it "diet pizza." However, the quality is inconsistent (sometimes burnt, sometimes very skimpy with toppings). And it's expensive. Garlic bread was $16... Last time I went in there to pick up I decided to get a glass of wine at the bar. It was $19 for a glass-- that's nearly a $100/bottle for wine at a pizza spot! The prices they charge are quite outrageous. But I have yet to find a place that delivers pizzas this thin and in a timely manner.

Posto is my all-time favorite neighborhood restaurant in all of New York. My husband and I have been going there for 15+ years. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, entertained friends from out of town and spent 100s of Friday night's enjoying their fresh and perfectly cooked food. Favorites include the Chicken Parma, Beet and Goat Cheese salad with chicken and the Classica Pizza. However, what really makes Posto so special is the staff - in particular Fernando and Jose. They are so welcoming, always ready to pour my favorite wine, and go the extra mile to make me and my husband feel special. This place never disappoints.

Best thin crust pizza I've had in this city since Pintaile's pizza (only real ones know). The crust is micro thin, crunchy but not so hard that you lose all the dough texture. The burrata was perfection. I came here on a whim with a friend who was visiting the city and it ended up being the perfect choice.

Great location, plenty of outdoor seating. Unfortunately the pizza was too thin of a crust. It tasted like a tortilla pizza. The meat lovers unfortunately was fair. Not great but average. Service was spotty. Overall plenty of other pizza places in the city

We're not the kind who crave for pizza, and also I often find my hard palate slightly bruised after having a slice of crunchy pizza. And yet, I like this place! It has a really nice interior, and the vibe is nice (even though there wasn't music because of a Spectrum outage in the area). The staff is kind as well. The pizza slices aren't cheap, but they're worth it. It's all thin crust (it's in the name), and it was really delicious. I particularly recommend the classic pepperoni pizza. Can't go wrong with that one!

This place used to good. The quality has gone down and the price has gone up. There are much better places in town with a better product and better service.

I completely adore this pizza. My favorite is the one with apples on it. Second to that, I love the salad with apples on it. Maybe I just love apples on my food. But I don't care. I love this restaurant with my whole heart. I'm not really in San Francisco. I am a true New Yorker.

I ordered a regular pizza, well toasted, but the pizza looked like a piece of dry cardboard. The cheese was dry and there was no sauce at all. I asked them and they told me that it is sold like this here. Apparently it's your first time here. They are not ashamed to sell like this. Terrible experience.

Quite pricey for a very insubstantial personal size pizza. Maybe it would have been better to order a full-sized one to share. Tumbler of wine also a bit meager for the price by the glass. The spinach salad was substantial and tasty.

Favorite pizza spot in Gramercy! Cozy vibes. Large pizza perfect size for 2-3 people. Service is always efficient.

Great salads and thin crust pizzas at this casual, yet perfect joint. Two people can easily split a pizza and a salad and come out of it feeling stuffed but not crazy. Specifically the mushroom pizza and Mediterranean salad are real winners. Lunch special is a really good deal, but the dinner time prices are also incredibly reasonable.

This place was amazing! The pizza is near paper thin and crunchy. Definitely differentiated. And it works. Got the meat lovers and the Parma prosciutto one. While the former was awesome and hearty, the Parma was better in my opinion. Recommend both. Also liked the bruschetta. Really cool interior and good solid vibe and ambience. Service was extremely kind.

Post Pizza overall is pretty great. The standout feature is their thin, cracker-like crust that provides a crunchy bite, different from the usual doughy base. I don't feel 100% guilty eating a few slices. While the flavors are generally pleasing, some may find the sauce to be overly sweet and spiced, which may not suit every palate. However, the staff at Post Pizza do their best to make up for this with their warm and friendly service.

Requires improvement Those taking a seat at Posto's for the fine dining pizza experience will be left sadly disappointed. I have been to Pizza Express in the UK many times and delighted repeatedly in their wood-fired margaritas, pepperonis and romanas. But, I have to say, that even the most lackluster chef at that chain - which has more than 470 establishments - would be left reeling in embarrassment by the so-called 'pies' coming out of Posto's kitchen. Staff at most pizza restaurants often struggle to put enough toppings on pizza. At Posto, however, we appear to have gone the other way. Flooding a pizza with toppings does not make it yummy, even I dare say for our slightly more endowed American cousins. Instead, it has the effect of producing a calorific, soggy, stodgy, mass where the top is burnt but the base remains, well, raw. My margarita pizza was so disgusting that I ended up dissecting it as though it was a rather unfortunate frog in an eighth-grade science class. My dining companion, who decided to indulge in the Shroomtown, fared little better - describing their pizza as 'like mushrooms on toast'. Conversely, the garlic bread and salad were excellent. As such, it appears that diners venturing to Posto NYC Thin Crust Pizza May find themselves in the unique position of doing their utmost to avoid ordering a pizza at a pizza restaurant.

Really good and would def go back. Got a cheddar apple salad and a giardino pizza. Thin crust pizza was surprisingly really good, it melted in your mouth. In my opinion this pizza had too many toppings and I felt like I wasn't anle to taste the actual pizza. The salad was AMAZING, very thankful for the amount that they gave considering how good it was.

This place gets really great reviews and I was excited to try their pizzas. I noticed that their menu offers a large variety of toppings which is nice because it gives everyone some thing to look for. They have more fun flavors like Hawaiian pizza and a really great sausage and caramelized onion which was my personal favorite. You can choose to get a personal size pie or a large pie and I really like the option to have a personal pie because it's just the right amount of pizza. I will note that they are truly a thin crust establishment and the crust almost reminds me of eating a very thin flatbread, it's not a super chewy pizza dough so if that's what you like this might not be the place for you.

I love this place for very thin crust pizza that doesn't make you feel like you've had a heavy meal. They offer whole wheat crust and it's easy to customize.

Absolutely love their pizza! I got the house salad with a slice for only $7!! Its so incredibly thin, but still tasty and flavorful. The servers and staff are friendly and welcoming. Stopped by randomly, but I will definitely be visiting and ordering from here more often! The lunch special prices are also unbeatable, so definitely add this to your must list for NY Pizza!

I've ordered probably 50 pies from Posto, so I do like their pizza. That said, the quality has declined of late. As just one example, the meatballs for the pizza used to be fantastic. They had a tasty quirk to them - like there was a little sherry in it or something - and the meat was high quality with little filler. No more. I now won't order anything with their meatballs on it. Depressing. Also, the Shroomtown also no longer tastes much of truffle. New lower quality truffle oil or just less being used? New management of just cutting back on quality to save money?

Delicious! The Pinot noir rose is larger than a regular bottle of wine and it was actually very good. Ordered the tre colori salad, burrata, mushroom pizza, and Parma pizza. Everything was delicious! The salad was crunchy and the spiced walnut added so much flavor. The mushroom pizza has truffle oil on it and the Parma's salty prosciutto and bacon complimented the apple and sweet balsamic vinaigrette... although truthfully I prefer a less sweet balsamic reduction. The pizzas are more like flatbreads, the crust is cracker thin and crispy so if you like a bready pizza skip this joint. Service was good, they didn't come to the table too much which I actually prefer but our waters were filled and they checked in sporadically.

I live in the East 70s. But when I'm craving an amazing large salad (so many to choose from but spinach with green apples, feta, pecans & cranberries with lemon vinaigrette is a personal favorite) & thin-crusted pizza combo, I hop on the bus to Posto Thin Crust @ East 18th & 2nd Avenue. Delicious beyond words! Reasonably-priced weekday lunch specials.

I went in for lunch today service was terrible and unfriendly. The girl behind the bar acting like she couldn't be bothered after sitting for 10 minutes .I had to ask for a menu and finally when the pizza came they Throw on the sausage topping it felt like I was having sloppy joe on my pizza I couldn't even see the cheese on the pizza. I ordered a Coke and they gave me a so called coke from the bar gun (after market syrup) not the real thing it tasted like cough medicine when I asked the waiter for Can of coke he seemed pissed that I asked him for a can. Waste of my time and waste of my lunch hour I could care less of money I left nauseated. Smart up look after your staff and product. You may have 4 stars but Staff keeps it up they will have your business Down graded to 1 star. If I could give 0 I would unFortunately doesn't give me that option. "0"

It's been a few years since I've been at Posto, and it was previously my favorite pizza spot when visiting NYC. The starters are still terrific - the burrata was incredible and the garlic bread was on point. I think we were less lucky with the pizzas we ordered. We tried the Big Pineapple and the Parma. The parma was not great - just odd choices of toppings (looking at you, apple) that didn't really come together and were just a bit too oily. The Big Pineapple was better, but I wouldn't be rushing back for it. I think some less fussy house pies on the menu would go a long way - especially because those thin crusts really are fantastic. Service here is also great - very casual and friendly. I'l come back here, but I'll probably look at the pictures on the menu on their very good website to have a better idea of what pizza might be a better choice.

Great pizza but the salads are actually the hidden star of this place. Grab a salad the next time you order a thin crust pizza and get your socks knocked off. My boyfriend and I always order the Kale and Manchego salad but the Mediterranean salad is great as well.

This place had really good thin crust pizza! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they had a deal where if you buy a pitcher of beer (about 30$) you get a free thin crust pizza. But the catch is that the prices for toppings are a little absurd. for pineapple and spicy sausage it was an additional $12.. at that point we were pretty much paying for the pizza itself.

I hear Ron Weasley's voice when he says "They *mean* every flavor!" Except in the case of Posto, it's "They *mean* thin crust!" This is razor-blade thin crust. Like you've never had real thin crust pizza unless you've been here. There's something about the thin crust or the perfect proportions of toppings that makes Posto my favorite pizza place in the New York area. Normally, when you have pizza you overindulge and feel like there is a dough baby sitting in your stomach for hours. But because of how thin Posto's crust is, you end up leaving with a very satisfying feeling instead. My boyfriend first introduced me to this place, and I've since taken my parents here and gone back again with the BF on Valentine's Day. Every pizza we've gotten has been fantastic, though I am a big believer in the Classic Margherita (if a place can't do that well, forget it). -- Classica (margherita) -- Salsiccia Dolce -- Shroomtown We like to wash our pizza down with Pinot Noir, which they serve a generous glassful (not like those fancy places that give you just a smidgeon and charge you a head). They don't do reservations, so try to get their early-ish if you don't want to wait. They can be quite popular during dinner time.

Best thin crust I've ever had. Was perfectly crispy while still soft enough to be "crust". We sat outside in the tent setup and it was amazing. Staff was friendly and gave us tips for other local places to try! Happy hour special is buy a bottle/pitcher and get a free cheese large pizza.

I've lived down the street from Posto for the last year and regret not discovering it sooner! First off, the happy hour deal is great - free plain pie (can upgrade for the difference of whichever pie you want) with the purchase of a pitcher or bottle of wine, which is perfect for date night. Even better, happy hour is all night on Monday! We ended up getting a half Parma and half Salsiccia pie with a bottle of wine and paid less than $30 per person. The pies are delicious and are true thin crust so they don't feel exceptionally heavy. Parma was my favorite of the two!

Best thin crust pizza ever. Geeat place, nice location. Thin crust pizza with robust sauce. I had mine with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff and great prices. You really can't beat their competitive lunch special prices. So much variety to choose from. You must try their pizza-you will not regret it and you will walk away guilt free because the crust is so thin.

I'm obsessed with this place. The pizza is so unique and light you don't have to feel badly about eating it. They have so many amazing toppings but I love the chipotle chicken. You can probably go without the salad though

Hit Posto at an off-hour on a Saturday: we arrived at around 4:30, just before the early-dinner rush. We ordered three large pies for our (hungry) group of 7, and left extremely satisfied with the meal and overall experience.  We ordered two house pies: The Shroomtown (marinara sauce & cheese, portobello, shiitake, button mushrooms, white truffle oil) and the Chickpotle (marinara sauce & cheese, shredded chicken, housemade chipotle sauce, sautéed onions, fresh pineapple, cilantro). For our third pie, we did a DIY situation with a Pesto base, goat cheese, and a balsamic reduction drizzle.  Our pies came out after just 10 or 15 minutes, and they were absolutely delicious. The mushroom pizza was truly loaded with mushrooms, and the chicken pizza had the perfect ratio of chicken to pineapple. The cilantro added an amazing depth to what was already a delicious pie. The third was lighter than the other two, both literally (less toppings!) and flavor-wise, but it made an exceptional intermediary between slices of the more loaded pies.  For thin crust pizza, Posto or one of its sister restaurants simply can't be beat. The pizza is filling in the best way, and the customizable ordering makes it a true treat. I can't wait to come back to Posto and experiment with some new flavors.

Same owners as Vezzo in Murray Hill, this place is super cute and was doing outdoor dining before it was cool. I love their pizzas, they have a perfect thin crust and basically any toppings you could want. There aren't a ton of other great options within a few block radius so if I'm nearby, this is the spot!

Not the greatest dinner I've had in NYC. They specialize in really thin crust pizza. They have some interesting combos. I got the chickpotle and it just wasn't that good. The service was slow.
