Y'all. Y'ALL. This is good BBQ. No, it's not good - it's FANTASTIC. If I show up and they sell out, I'm just showing up the next day to try again because they deserve it. Yes, the price of BBQ can hurt any wallet these days, but we'll be digging out our pennies in our cars and the quarters out of the couch if we have to. I will ALWAYS pay for a local restaurant with quality, top tier food. This is, officially, the best BBQ I've had in the southern Texas area. And that's crazy, because for me personally the flavor profile isn't my normal one - I'm one of the rare people who doesn't like sweet or tangy BBQ rubs/sauces. Give me salty or spicy. Yet, with the light sweetness on this meat, it only complimented it instead of overwhelming me. The service is top tier. Yeah, they're tiny with small business supply/demand balanced to make. You know who else started out tiny? Everyone who made it big. I will make the long drive to Pottbelli BBQ as often as I can. Thank you for making my heart, taste buds, and belly happy! Oh, and those beans? Sister. Please, always make them with the chunks of meat and whatever else goodness you're mixing in there because they're just about the only beans at a BBQ place I've gobbled down.

I love this place! Best brisket I've ever had hands down! Love coming by on lunch and getting a brisket sandwich with a side. Will definitely fill you up as it's loaded. Had ribs and sausage today and just as good. Have been back mutiple times!

Man I know having all 5 stars can sometimes be suspicious but these folks really do deserve it. The foood is amazing ! Some of the best green beans and potato salad I’ve had EVER. And the meat is wowwwwwwww! Truly try them

OMG! I have been craving some BBQ for a while! I learned TODAY that sometimes the wait is worth it! Talk about a hidden gem!! 💎 I had lunch today with a friend/high school classmate and neither of us were disappointed! 😋 We were there when they opened, but the wait was not long. We were acknowledged and asked if we didn't mind waiting for just a moment while an order was being served to a customer. She thanked us and took our order. The food was delicious and plentiful! 😋 Please support this young couple if you can. You won't be disappointed.

First time visiting and definitely won’t be our last! I was going for the brisket, which was so amazing but the pulled pork caught be by surprise how full of flavor that was! So much flavor in the meats.

A great BBQ place and I highly recommend giving them a try. Currently they are only ooen on Mondays and Tuesdays but they hope to expand their days open soon. I tried the brisket, ribs, and sausage. All were top notch as well as their potatoe salad. They are a little crowded in their current location and with the South Texas August heat the line to order is inside and winds in and out thru the tables. Hopefully they can resolve this issue soon.

When I tell you the wait was worth it!!!!!! Best beef rib, pork ribs, brisket and sausage I have everrrrrr had!!!!! Mac and cheese and potato salad was bomb!! We will definitely be coming back! Terrance and wifey thank you and many blessings on the bbq business! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love barbecue and have been wanting to visit Potbelli for a while now. I decided there was no better time after I saw the owner reaching out to followers on social media. I was not disappointed! We were promptly greeted and our order was taken. My son and I each got a three meat plate to go. The brisket lived up to the hype! It is the most tender brisket I've ever had. I was expecting the rib to be average but was pleasantly surprised to see that the meat fell off the bone. Everything was very good. The only disappointment for us was that we saw they started serving five meat plates after we left, I would've loved to try the pulled pork. I highly recommend visiting Potbelli!

My man catered my retirement party. All my guests loved the food! The ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage was ALL on point. I can go for more of the ribs right NOW! Highley reccomend. He was on time and professional. The house sauses were A-1. Great job from one country boy to another

The place of business was very clean. Service was good, the cashier was very pleasant, and the cook spoke to my husband and I and gave my husband a sample of the Brisket. He said it was ok. So we both got the Brisket & Sausage sandwich it was $15 each. The Hamburger bun was small to medium size. My husband said his Brisket was a little dry Sausage was ok... nothing to shout about it had no flavor just like the Brisket. The BBQ sauce that was on the table was good took off some of the dryness from the Brisket. And as for the potato salad.... we shared we did not like it. Some of the potatoes weren't cooked all the way. And the dressing they used didn't look or taste like mayo or mustard. Don't know what it was? Oh... there was no salt & pepper on the tables. All there was on the table was a paper towel roll and a bottle of BBQ sauce. There was napkins and plastic forks on a separate table if needed. Our total bill came out to $41.17. For two sandwiches, a pint of potato salad, and a water and a can tea. Oh... and they "didn't offer" Military discount. Sad... because they are close to FT Sam Houston. We had seen it advertise on Instagram and it look so good. But sadly were disappointed for what we got for the price. And drove from the SeaWorld area. So it was a bust.

My original review was removed. Owner was very unprofessional. Tried intimidating me because I don't have a husband. He sold me very dry brisket, and he admitted that he was aware that the brisket was dry. He never replaced the brisket. It took him around 3 months to refund my payment for 3# of brisket. And then he was texting me because he wanted to be friends. He said that his wife told him that he could have female friends. He was awful, machismo, chauvinistic, and a creep.

One of the best if not THE BEST bbq I have ever had! Moist and tender and by faaaaar one of the tastiest food in the 210 are. 10/10!

Really Great Barbecue, I Throughly enjoyed it and the flavor is lasting as well , Would recommend highly if you are in need of a caterer.

Recently, I used Potbelli BBQ & Catering to feed between 15 - 20 people for my mother's 80th birthday celebration and had a wonderful experience. After reviewing the menu online, I called to speak with somebody to guide me on what I should order and how much. Terence (the owner) was responsive in returning my phone call and helped me determine the type and quantity of brisket and rack of ribs. Later after placing the order, he came by the house at a time that was previously agreed upon for quick introductions. Leading up to the celebration, he was proactive in his communications, and I always felt informed on the status of things. He delivered my order to the house on time and without incident. The food was excellent and with rave reviews about the meat being "fantastic" and "one of the best" from multiple people speaks volumes! You know it's good to when you get comments like this, and you don't ask - they tell you! I will use Potbelli BBQ & Catering again and recommend without hesitation. Well done, Terence and thank you for the delicious meal and helping make my mother's birthday such as success.

All honesty, this was the best ribs and brisket I've ever had, and it was so juicy and tender! Terrance knows how to BBQ!!!! You can really tell there was love, time, and effort put into this. I can not express enough how good this was! I can't wait to have our next event with Potbelli catering!
