Prado Wine Bar - Review - Mouraria - Lisbon - The Infatuation

"Prado in Mouraria is great for a special occasion dinner, but for something a little lower stakes, head to their wine bar on the next corner. The selection for everything—food, wine, tables—is smaller, but no less fantastic. Come here solo or with a date (there’s one communal table for small groups, but space is tight) and don’t skip the sourdough to start, especially if you have your eyes on the mussels—they’re steeped in a sauce that shouldn’t go to waste. And speaking of not leaving things behind, if you like what you’re drinking, you can buy a bottle of it on your way out." - Tiffany Yannetta

I recently visited Prado Wine Bar and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is truly stunning – a perfect blend of modern design and natural elements that makes the space feel both elegant and welcoming. The attention to detail in the interior is impressive and adds a special touch to the dining experience. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell there’s a real focus on quality, seasonal ingredients. Each plate felt carefully crafted, and I especially appreciated the creativity in the menu. Whether you’re stopping in for a few small bites or a full meal, there’s something here to satisfy any palate. Service was another highlight – warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, Prado Wine Bar is a gem in Lisbon’s culinary scene. A perfect spot for a relaxed evening with friends, or anyone who appreciates good food, wine, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Very good small dish!! Most of Portuguese restaurants or bar are too much portion so we really enjoyed food. We ordered 3 plates. Cod with chickpeas and mussels were amazing. Beer was also very good. Unfortunately there were large groups in the middle of restaurants when we were there, it was very noisy….i can imagine usually this place is not that noisy 😭 I hope my second visit will be enjoy a little more quiet time.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this wine bar. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. While the selection of wines by the glass was a bit limited, overall it was a great experience.

Prado Wine Bar is a Lisbon gem that beautifully blends local, seasonal ingredients with an elegant yet relaxed vibe. Their farm-to-table concept shines through every plate, from the vibrant cured rainbow trout to the deeply flavorful Alentejano pork neck. The wine selection is exceptional, with staff who truly know their stuff and offer spot-on recommendations. The space is stylish, warm, and always buzzing with good energy. Whether you’re there for a casual glass or a full tasting experience, Prado delivers on flavor, quality, and charm. A must-visit for food and wine lovers alike.

Took me a while to decide how to rate this restaurant/wine bar. The main issues were the price and the portions. Oh the food was delicious, well presented and tasty. But the portions were tiny for a high price. If compared to other places at the same level in Lisbon or Porto, this was the only place we didn’t feel full. Service was great with great wine and the waiters were very knowledgeable. Atmosphere was affected by the fact that we got the worst table, in the corner next to the kitchen where you don’t feel part of the wine bar and you are secluded away enjoying the walls or the bar counter.

We had a great experience at Prado. Delicious food, a well procured Portuguese-based wine list and a very knowledgeable sommelier who helped us discover some great wines!

One of my favorite meals in Lisbon. The wine bar location of the restaurant Prado. Relaxed with lots of locals coming and going. The food was great and perfect if you’re not super hungry and just want some snack and some drinks. You can definitely order more food, particularly if you’re hungry or are you going be there for your full meal. We really enjoyed the skin contact and orange wines. Definitely on my list to go back to .
