Goode Company Plans Third Tex-Mex Outpost Opening in the Heights - Eater Houston

"Present Company is hoping to cool things down with some holiday cheer. The Montrose bar will be hosting 'Christmas in July,' through the end of the month with holiday decor and themed drinks, like the frothy 'Defrosty the Snowman,' made with coconut water rum, a lime sherbet, coconut puree, and a vegan vanilla ice cream, and the vodka-based 'Red Nose Candy,' with passionfruit liqueur, coconut puree, and lemon, lingonberry, and pineapple juices." - Brittany Britto Garley

The 10 Best Bloody Marys in Houston - Eater Houston

"Somewhere between a bloody marv and michelada is the Present Company bloody mary. What makes this one special? In addition to vodka, PC’s mary is also made with Guinness, for a touch of dark, roasted flavor. Its served in a Campbells tomato soup can for extra kitsch." - Brittanie Shey

How Trial and Error Helped Make Present Company Houston’s Most Fun New Bar - Eater Houston

"From the beginning, restaurateur Shawn Bermudez knew that he wanted his next bar to be focused on one thing: having fun. The proprietor of multiple Houston favorites, including Stone’s Throw and the Burger Joint, Bermudez has developed a keen sense of what Houstonians want. But that didn’t stop him from obsessively considering every single detail that went into Present Company, his wildly popular Montrose watering hole that Eater Houston named bar of the year in 2018. Even though Bermudez and his team worked really hard to create a place that was entirely focused on fun, the vibe here feels surprisingly natural. With cheeky decor and Instagram-worthy cocktails served in La Croix cans, the bar became an instant hit." - Amy McCarthy

The first thing that catches your eye is the vibrant decor, definitely insta-ready. We did valet parking, some others parked on the street. The place has multiple seating areas, with a different backdrop in each section. The drinks were amazingly good and the service was superb! The drinks were served with a dash of style. Food was pretty good too with quite a few vegetarian options. We tried the veggie pizza, cauliflower wings, both yummy! Will definitely be back!!

My first time here and I really enjoyed it. The vibrant colors really grab your attention as you walk in. They have multiple seating areas inside and out. The food was good and fairly priced. Loved the drinks! They are not super strong but I loved the presentation and fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to go back!

Present company is super good! It's a great brunch spot (heck ya $12 mimosa carafes!) and an even better Instagram-able place! One pro is that they provide parking across the street. I absolutely love the decor and the awesome 80s neon thing going on. I tried the veggie burger and it was delish! Only problem is that service was a bit slow but hey it was the Sunday morning brunch rush so understandable!

This place is awesome!! I’m from Dallas, but every time I am in Houston, I make it a point to come here for brunch. It’s even become a tradition to do breakfast shots here. Vibes and scenery are unmatched, and usually the music is great too. Food and drinks are great and actually very cheap especially compared to other brunch places. We usually don’t have any issues with service either. Highly recommend this place if you haven’t been here before!

My favorite place while I was in Houston. Seriously the vibe, staff, setup, food, music, the people everything was awesome! Cannot stress this enough check this place out if you're looking for a fun bar with good drinks and food. Kristin is the best bartender ever! For real she went above and beyond from beginning to end made me and others feel soooo welcomed and right at home. Her energy and smile are contagious in the best way. For real if I'm ever back in the area I want to be wherever she's bartending, she's awesome! Joel was a great bartender too, too bad I had to leave soon after he got there. Had a blast! ALL the drinks were amazing and the breakfast tatchos were soooo good huge portion and everything was so fresh and delicious. The coffee slushy was delish, the la croix drinks were so refreshing, the bloody Marys were really good too. The place was very clean. The bar is huge 2 floors both with outdoor seating too.

Present Company was a pleasure. Their customer service was superb. They checked on me on multiple occasions and made sure I was taken care of. The vibe at the venue was great and the rooftop was a plus. I couldn’t sit up there since it opens at 2pm but that wasn’t an issue. The location gets more traffic starting around 2pm so I understand. The Veggie Omelet Skillet was on point and filling. I enjoyed every bite. The fries were a little dry. The food came out extremely fast I was soo surprised. The drinks were strong but tasted interesting. I honestly should have just gotten the mimosa pitcher. This place is a good Brunch spot and has many back drops for some iconic pictures. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I would love to visit here at a later house to see how it is in the Night life scene. Check it out!

Okay this place is nice spot to take pictures and eat food. The food is delicious and the white queso hits the spot just right. The service could had been better as being friendlier instead of serious, same could be said for the valet. They don't serve filter water only tap which was a bummer for water drinkers. Overall good to try maybe once or twice.

I ventured out of my element thinking Westhimer would be top notch. We stumbled onto this place because of the hour wait at the original place we wanted to go. 1st we had to wait in line to a place that wasn't even packed im assuming it looks good passing by to see people standing in line. I do commend the door staff for checking everyone's ID so they gained a star for that. Once seated and greeted the staff was friendly and polite. I went to the rest room and it seemed it hadn't been tended to in a min. I did inform staff and went to check again before leaving still dirty. Food was bland but it is a bar so I guess it should be expected. I'm not a drinker though I only came for the food. Cheese fries with pulled pork was bland so I added BBQ sauce and IT DIDN'T HELP. Wings Lemmon pepper didn't taste a hint. Soy garlic wings were 👌. I would have given 4 stars but that bathroom umm well No!. Great hang out spot though.
