A nice place to get ice cream with friends and family. They have quite a selection of ice cream you can get. They look quite pretty. The atmosphere is very nice and comfy. The staff here are very friendly. Pretty cool place!!!

Fun popsicle shop that has popped up in Lincoln Park on Belden and up in Logan Square. Tasty coffee custard sealed in a chocolate crust with bits of pretzels & toffee. While it was tasty, not sure that the $6.37 cost reflects its value. While I suggest trying it out, Annette’s Italian Ice and Ice cream is a place I know I will return to for a ice cream snack. I wish this place success but have a feeling the price will detour families beyond the initial visit.

I had been wanting to check this place out and found myself in the neighborhood this summer. What a treat! The selection was vast and they even had a few specials. I had the coffee pretzel toffee and it was delicious- sweet and creamy ice cream with a slighty salty chocolate coating with toffee & pretzels. The packaging is also fun &created by local artists. My sister got the blue moon (an old favorite & classic Sherman's Ice Cream flavor iykyk) & she enjoyed it. It's a little pricey, but a craft hand- dipped ice cream bar that's available year-round ain't easy to come by. Especially coming from the talent at this joint.

How does one choose which flavor they want?! They all sound SO good! Went with the coffee pretzel toffee, and as someone who loves crunch with her ice cream, it was SO good. And surprisingly didn’t melt everywhere like most ice cream pops do. Definitely worth the splurge!

The store has an adorable and Instagram-worthy ambiance. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. If you seek high-quality popsicles, this is the place to visit.

Just took the kiddos on their inaugural journey to Pretty Cool Ice Cream - the 12 year old has been waiting for months and let us all know the minute she got a notification that TODAY IS THE DAY! For the uninitiated, Pretty Cool isn't a traditional ice cream shop. It's an ice cream POP shop. As in popsicles and such. They have all sorts of popsicles and ice cream bars. I was tempted (veeery tempted) by the Chicago style bar (caramel with a topping that includes cheese popcorn) and the Kyoto Dark Coffee popsicle. Honorable mention goes to some sort of unicorn bar but, ultimately, I thought blue lips might not be an ideal selection for a 57 year old woman who forgot to put on mascara today. My choice - a deliciously fine one - was the Cucumber Lime popsicle. Yum!! So off we went. I ordered the cucumber lime popsicle and it was fantastic! We think you're very cool indeed, Pretty Cool - welcome to the neighborhood!

Recommend: the ice was good, they have different flavors so make your choice, the few we had were good. It's not a cheap ice cream bar at $5-6 a piece with tax $7 definitely can get a whole pint at the store, but nonetheless it was real good and I will get again to try their other flavors.

I absolutely love this popsicle spot. They have two locations and the staff are always friendly. They have pony pops which are minis for kids. The strawberry and lemonade have been a huge hit in our household. We love that the regular ice creams are often collaborations with local chicago restaurants and they promote local artists who create the wrapper art. Our absolute favorite flavors are the toffee coffee chocolate, orange creamsicle and the chicago brownie. I love the horchata and the grasshopper (mint chocolate) but I have to be in the mood and the cinnamon and mint flavors are a little more stronger.

"Pretty" cool is a pretty big understatement! These aren't your average popsicles- they're elevated with inventive flavors, high quality ingredients, and are among the most delicious I've ever had. Upon walking in, I was greeted by friendly team members, a fun decor complete with balloons, and a display case filled with dozens of colorful options of popsicles. Something to note: this is a very gluten-free friendly shop! From classic fruit and milk flavors to collaborations with shops like Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits, they have something for everyone. I wasn't too hungry, so I opted for the Birthday mini-popsicle this time after trying the caramel horchata on another occasion. Both were outstanding- I loved how creamy the ice cream was, and they both tasted extremely authentic to their names! The birthday tasted just like buttercream frosting with crunchy sprinkles, and the horchata brought a creamy, sweet cinnamon flavor. Can't recommend Pretty Cool highly enough- my only regret is not buying more, so I will be back soon!

i saw the limited edition sweet corn & blueberry ice cream sandwich on instagram and had to come try it. here's the review i texted my friend: - the flavor was sooo yummy & perfectly fruity wo being like sickly sweet if yk what i mean. idk if ive ever had blueberry w ice cream before but i rly liked it & it gave blueberry muffin vibes - ice cream was so smooth and perfect ice cream:cookie ratio imo - cookie was crunchy (i prefer crunchy over soft) and the "sweet corn" part was also not that sweet it moreso was like that perfect slightly gritty texture overall 10/10 honestly i think they rly perfected this. if i had to critique anything it wld be that i didnt rly need that extra coating over half the cookie but idw to deduct points bc it def added to aesthetic & i think its a personal thing if u like that or not. i'm glad it wasn't over the whole thing tho

This is our favorite neighborhood ice cream shop! Their pre-packaged and unique flavored popsicles and ice cream bars are amazing. We tend to buy 2 each, so we can enjoy one right away and pop the 2nd in the freezer for a treat later. They have super unique flavors and we love their limited collabs but our family loves some of the staples: Rainbow Chip, Chocolate, and the POG. We also love the "pony pops" that are kid sized. Not only is the space fun and beautiful but the staff are friendly and patient while my kiddos ponder which ice cream bar they are going to choose.

I want to like Pretty Cool Ice Cream because I love a dessert that comes in many fun flavors, but this is my third time trying it and it's still not hitting. I got the grasshopper bar (it was free for my birthday, so the free would make it four stars), but I also have tried and paid for their caramel horchata crunch and another flavor at the Logan Square location I don't love. I might give it one last chance and try their water-based bars, but otherwise, I don't really get it. They're okay - decent but nothing to write home about or go out of your way to get. Like I'd come back here if I was desperately specifically in the mood for an ice cream bar, but I think going to your local grocery to pick up a multipack would be more satisfying.

Pretty cool is a small little hole in the wall, very cute scenery and very clean. They are known for their dipped ice cream cones and they are quite delicious. I had the key lime pie pop and it was key lime pie in I cream form so it was awesome. The worker Taylor in the store was extremely nice and gave great service and helped us with suggestions and had an excellent taste of music in the shop. I can see me and my buddies getting some pops here and just sitting and having a good time.

Pretty cool ice cream has a large selection of curated ice cream bars to really give different flavor profiles in one bite. I went basic and got the strawberry shortcake and it did not disappoint. very filling and crunchy! If I were to return, I would try their vegan options for the ice cream bars. They have over 7+ options for those that are vegan or lactose intolerant to still indulge and satisfy your sweet tooth.

It's a nice dessert spot with a unique concept. My friend and I had the peanut butter potato chip. I had low expectations because I'm the kind of person who loves selecting my own toppings but I was happy with my choice and the ice cream bar was satisfying. It's not heavy, which is nice and the peanut butter flavor can be tasted without overpowering the ice cream. If I were in the area I would go again :)

Holy cow! If you like ice cream, you HAVE to come here this summer. These ice cream bars are made here in Chicago (Logan Square) and they're insanely good. There are a ton of fun flavors, both ice cream and fruit based. I had the peanut butter potato chip. It was a peanut butter based custard (YUM) with a thick layer of dark chocolate that had potato chips. Sweet, salty, crunchy, amazing. Definitely check this place out!

Cute little spot to grab some ice cream! When we got there around 5:30pm they were out of a several flavors - not sure if that's because they sold out of them or if they weren't selling them on that particular day. They have a walk-up window which was super fast and convenient! I ordered the caramel horchata crunch and my husband ordered the coffee pretzel toffee. The horchata and coffee flavors of our respective ice creams really came through. We were sitting outside while enjoying our ice cream and I noticed that both bars stayed cold and solid for a while despite the heat. I really appreciated that because I hate when ice cream melts super quickly and your hands end up a sticky mess. I will definitely be back to try more flavors.

My friend told me this is a shop sells ice cream bar. It's not common to see that individual shop sells ice cream bar. Decided to give it a try. Staff were very sweet and gave us very thoroughly explanations of how each flavor tastes like. On average $3.5 per person. Not expensive at all. Plenty seating areas but decided to eat at home. The ice cream tastes pretty good ( mango favor is my fav). Worth to give it a try.

I came here on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint. The place is very relaxed and chill and has a lot of random spots to sit. There are so many options here so I ended up asking for a recommendation and the recommendation did not disappoint! The person working was super patient and willing to provide recommendations. The horchata crunch was great because it was like a crunch candy bar with horchata ice cream inside with a gooey caramel in the middle. I will probably be coming back again!

Yummy popsicles! They have a great selection. The person at the counter was nice and offering to us to guide us to certain flavors if we had dietary restrictions. They have normal (dairy popsicles), plant based popsicles (coconut based) and fruit (just fruit) ones. They were definitely more tasty than something you'd get in the supermarket. I got the grasshopper and it was a dark chocolate mint taste. Very good. Wasn't overly minty where it tastes like toothpaste. I would get it again!

Amazing ice cream bar place if you're wanting a little treat after a meal! The flavors are very unique and original which I love. Wish I lived closer to the area so I could try every single flavor!

"Pretty Cool" is a bit of a misnomer because this place absolutely rocks. The main concept is that they make ice cream bars that look similar to popsicles. With that, they can make some pretty fun flavors like peanut butter chocolate chip, key lime pie, and pumpkin pie. Every single one of them that I have had there have been fantastic. Its kind of like a fancy 31 flavors. Service is also super quick and they have a pretty good pickup order plan. The only "downside" maybe is that their ice cream bars are a little expensive. However, like I said, there has yet to be a flavor that I haven't liked and they do run some specials for a variety pack. They also have kid size bars in a couple of flavors which I think are a bit of a steal (a little underpriced?). They also sell some nice little cooler bags which are fairly priced! Will I be back? You bet!

Interesting flavors and friendly service. Love the holiday seasonal flavors. Street parking usually easy. Bring a cooler if you want to take flavors home (or buy one there!).

After a long day of work and school, we had to come and check out this new spot to the Lincoln Park area. They've only been open about 3 months, the original location is on California Ave in Chicago as well but it was so great to finally get to check them out. When we walked into the place we were greeted by their amazing staff, everyone was super friendly. They were very eager to answer any of all questions and we were easily able to decide on the strawberry shortcake and the grasshopper. There were over 15 options to choose from and all of them were on display. The prices were very affordable everything was between $3.50-$5.50. There was a little trouble with parking but don't worry once you find a spot this place won't disappoint!

Pretty cool concept. We enjoyed trying something new. There were 12+ vegan options when we went. A lot of unique flavors.

There are a lot of chain ice cream chains in the neighborhood but if you want something unique, it's worth a stop at Pretty Cool Ice Cream. They have a huge selection of ice cream bars and the staff is super friendly. We stopped by on a warm Sunday and I chose the Peanut Butter Potato Chip bar and was very happy with my selection. A perfect amount of sweetness and crunchiness of the chips was a nice add. I plan to stop by for there other options and am glad they are part of our community.

This is the second location. The original is in Logan Square which I haven't been there. Items start just under four dollars and range to six dollars. Also, they have ice cream for dogs. Staff & service is excellent.

I am a lover of all things ice cream. I could eat any food in ice cream form. We have been here a couple times thus far, and appreciate their flavors and ice cream pops. Strawberry buttermilk- 5 Double Chocolate knockout- 5 Natalie's- 5!! Strawberry shortcake- 5 Great location; the neighborhood kids approve!

Heard about this place from a Porsche newsletter and decided to give it a shot. Their ice cream is excellent - I honestly wanted to buy more after we were done with the first round. It was that good. The interior of the place is also pretty cool! ;)

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!! Who thought of this?! It's incredible! We had 1 key lime and 1 peanut butter chocolate potato chip and they blew our little minds.

My friend lives in the neighborhood and recommended this place as an after dinner treat. I'm not one to turn down ice cream so we went to check it out. This place is one of the coolest ice cream shops I've ever been to. The concept is very unique and very tasty. They have a variety of flavors so anyone and everyone can enjoy something. I was not super hungry so I just got the birthday cake ice cream bar that I realized afterwards was from the kids menu but a great snack size for when someone doesn't want a lot of ice cream. My boyfriend got the peanut butter chocolate with potato chips and it was amazing. I really want to come back to try the rest of the flavors (Thai iced tea, the bigger birthday cake one, and anything chocolate). It's good to support small businesses as well these days. I will for sure stop by next time I'm in the area.

Amazing popsicles and ice cream. Truly one of the best I've ever had. I had a cherry pie, that was cherry ice cream in a graham cracker crust dip. It was phenomenal
