Pretty Southern

The staff was fantastic and funny even when I only came in to check out the menu while waiting for a restaurant up the street. We had a bad experience at the other place and came back to eat here and the food was fantastic! Cute, cozy restaurant didn't have enough table for all the food we ordered lol. But definitely a TOP CHEF in the kitchen. And not a long wait.

Stellar chicken biscuit and great mac and cheese! Homemade sauces are phenomenal Very small and boutiquey but a must-visit. Sam is a Boss!

Best friend chicken I can remember and a huge bowl of veggies with delicious mint. The staff was really friendly. Wish I lived nearby to come back often.

The place is small, but the food is totally worth a visit. The fried chicken is some of the best friend chicken I have had. The biscuits were warm and fluffy and the sides were a great accompaniment to the fried chicken. All the sauces that come with the fried chicken & biscuits were a treat too, but my favorite was the Maple Vinegar Dressing. The staff was friendly and attentive and the prices were totally reasonable. In addition, if you're a fan of Top Chef, this is Sam Talbot's restaurant, (he was on season 2 & also the most recent season). He was actually in the kitchen when I visited!

Came here for brunch on a Sunday around 12:30 pm. The wait was minimal and had a steady amount of overflow of patrons who did not want to wait an hour at the restaurant next door. The hostess and wait staff were pleasant and attentive. The food came out quickly. I got the egg and coconut milk cheese grits out of curiosity and love for grits. I was happy with my choice! My partner got the chicken thigh sandwich, which also looked amazing. I would come back and get Mac and cheese--it passed our table and looked really good.

We were craving fried chicken. This place was amazing. Prices might seem expensive but the portion sizes are huge and the food was excellent. Everything from the broccoli to the mac n cheese to the chicken. Totally on par with the best places we ate in New Orleans.

Plenty of awesome gluten free options! Like fried chicken and biscuits.

Had dinner here with a friend on a Sunday night and absolutely loved it. I had the fried chicken thigh (get it with the lemon scallion remoulade sauce), biscuit with bourbon better and their special mac n cheese with crab (a must!!). I live in the area and will definitely be back.
