"Technically a Sonoma-based company, spinning off from the legendary restaurant Molino Central, this Ferry Plaza Farmers Market mainstay serves outrageously popular tamales all year long. There are classic flavors, as well as renditions with more pizzazz like the roasted pumpkin and white cheddar tamale. The woman-owned business has more than 30 years of experience doing the damn thing; if you can’t make it to the Ferry Building, you can find a pack in numerous local grocery stores." - Becky Duffett, Eater Staff

Loved the Chilaquiles! Costs 15.50 a plate, but it's worth every dime. I was there early around 9am on a Saturday, so there was no queue. The queue started forming after I got my food (see photo), so you want to get there early if you don't want to spend time in the queue. The purple hibiscus drink is pretty intense for me. It tastes more like syrup than a drink. Fortunately I bought some bottles of plain water along and diluted it with a 1 to 1 ratio and it was so much better.

The best chilaquiles in SF, I love this place. It’s definitely worth the wait, just get there early since they usually run out of their fantastic salsa after a couple of hours. I go here every Saturday and never get tired of it!! 🙏🏽 The chicken mole and pork tamales are yummy too

Been coming here every Saturday for breakfast for 10 years. The chilaquiles are amazing. Salsa rotates through el cardinal, Merida, Verdes (tomatillo poblano, my favorite), and Maurilias Guajillo (very rare and very good). Spiciness can vary from mild to hot depending on the day, and they can be ordered with plain chips for kids.

Delicious chilaquiles with all the works - beans, scrambled eggs, queso, sour cream, avocado and salsa. Wash this down with an agua fresca, and you've got a breakfast/ brunch that will hold you until dinner. I've also tried the tamales, which are very good (and available at some local markets). The biggest challenge is deciding which kind to buy. I opt for the butternut squash, but the others are also delicious. Primavera is *cash only,* so come prepared. $20 covers an order of chilaquiles, an agua fresca and a tip. It's well worth a trip to an ATM!

I still dream about the chilaquiles. I had them 8 years ago! Would consider going back to SF just for them.

One of the best chilaquiles spots in all of SF. The line is always long, but it goes super fast. CASH ONLY! Menu rotates the perfect amount. Grab your food then walk around the corner if the pier to seat on a bench with a view of the bay bridge and skyline

Amazing food and decently priced too. Highly recommend if your attending the farmers market.

Joe and Fabian run a tremendous stand. Best Mexican food north if the border!! I'd pay triple if that's what they charged, no problem! Best tacos, tamales, and salsa ever. Check out Primaveras restaurant in Sonoma, California.
