First time customer today and we were extremely highly satisfied!!! Delicious prime New York strip and premium ribeye! Great staff and will definitely be a regular customer!!!

Prime rib steaks are amazing! The brisket burgers are delicious! Worth the extra money. The butchers are friendly and knowledgeable. The told me how to grill my steaks perfectly. Will be going back

Disappointed with the Bliss Burger 😞 while I think it’s better than store bought burger meat since it’s fresh but it’s not significantly better which I wss as hoping for. I wanted to try it since it’s dry aged and I love the beefy rich taste of a dry aged burger from restos I’ve been too. This one is lacking that beefy rich taste and it was also the most expensive burger Pattie’s I’ve bought. 42 bucks for 4 8oz Pattie’s.

By far the most personable and nicest father and son duo ever! They have some of the best quality meat, fruits and even buns. They care about what you’re putting into your body and it shows. You can taste the difference in what you’re bringing home and so will your friends and family. They know everyone that comes in and if they don’t they won’t forget you. You can even join their rewards program and get money off your purchases. They’re located right in the heart of Woodbury commons. I love this place and I’m not even close but TRUST ME it’s worth the trip. You will be so happy you came here and leave with a smile and awesome food! You can’t beat a 30 year family business.

I’m disappointed that I had my son travel 20 minutes to the store when the owner said would be open only to find the door locked and the lights off. He called the store, checked google for hours and it said he was closed. 40 Minutes wasted. Now I had to cancel appointment in my day to scramble to Prime time another 40 minutes lost but this time the store was open. Great! Guess what? The owner could care less that I was inconvenienced- “I was in the meat locker”. Wow. Then the price. $31+ per pound? For Brisket! Sorry. You just lost my business of 30 years.

This place is a sad excuse for a butcher. Why is every piece of meat in vacuum sealed packaging? Why are they charging extra per lb for using credit? $45 a lb for a porterhouse in a plastic bag is not worth it. Don’t waste your time for this overpriced trash

This was my first time at Primetime. They were highly recommended by several clients of mine from the gym. We bought a porterhouse steak and it was one of the best steaks. My boyfriend and I have ever had! Looking forward to trying chicken burgers and soup today I will definitely be a lifetime customer

Went to Prime Time Butcher today and Ryan helped me with my order. Todays visit I found that they have yet another New thing. Seafood fresh or cooked from Great neck Fisheries. I'm told that they have had them for a little more than a month now and they are selling well. I bought the salmon though fresh I put it in the freezer. They have a variety of types of marinated uncooked turkey breast which are always favorable and tender when cooked. They also have a mix of different cooked and frozen meals along with various frozen or fresh burgers of turkey, chicken or beef. They sell fresh turkeys and I expect they already have many orders for Thanksgiving. They have a rewards account that you can set up to get credits and tally for discounts. If you pay with a credit or debit card there is a 3 and 1/2 % charge added to the order (see pix)

My family's been coming here for decades. Excellent quality and service. Just cooked up some prime aged sirloins last nite and they were outstanding. @ $37 per pound not cheap - but superb quality. Highly recommended.

I've made several purchases from them. Their prepared turkey breast and hams are great, as are some of the side dishes. HOWEVER, I can (and now do) buy much higher quality meats at my local privately owned grocery store at much lower prices. Every piece of meat I ordered from Prime Time (including bone in pork chops and sirloins) were loaded with fat and grizzle. Their filet mignon leaves much to be desired as well. Summarily, a good go to for some holiday type foods, but buy most of you meats local from a good butcher shop or private grocer as I'm doing. Attached photo shows scrap from my Berkshire Bone In Pork Chops; scrambled is from two, with the small portion of meat in the lower left being the edible portion from one. Edible portion from the second was about the same size. The company did issue me a refund plus a coupon. I used that to purchase two sirloins, which were nearly as disappointing.

Really enjoyed the catering for the holiday. They have a great variety of pre-made dishes and it's easy to pop in and have dinner prepared. Great selection and quality of meats

Best meat, price and service in the area. The staff can easily order specialty cuts. the butcher will trim and cut as you need. I like everyone and go back frequently, for everyth!

I recently discovered Prime Butcher and it is my new go to place for special occasions and every day shopping. They did a phenomenal job with my order for our Passover Seder. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was perfect. They were timely, answered my questions and were very patient with me. Thank you Prime Butcher!

You get what you pay for! and what you get is wonderful cuts of meat. Yes they are a bit more costly but well worth the price. They will order and cut to your needs.

Walked into this butcher shop not knowing anything . When I looked at the prices I thought to myself, "seriously"? I thought I bought prime cuts of beef before. It wasn't this expensive. Regardless I walked out w 3lbs of porterhouse and much poorer for the effort. But no word of a lie best steak I've made for myself . I've had prime cuts of meat before. But never came out this good. Service was fantastic. I was overwhelmed w the prices. The older gentleman still helped and made recommendations. No judgement (or at least no visible judgement) for me being blown away by the prices. Would recommend. May have to take a loan for my Christmas prime rib but will probably buy from here.

I ordered Prime Time roast for my family for Thanksgiving. The meat could not have turned out better. Perfect roasting instructions right on the package. It made wonderful roast beef. Perfectly tender and rare. Very little fat. By the end of the holiday weekend there was none left. We ate it hot with gravy. We ate it cold with horseradish cream sauce on sandwiches for lunch. Can not say enough about this wonderful cut of meat. Thanks to Lou and Josh for suggesting it. It was perfect!! Will definitely get it again and again.

This Sunday we decided to chef up a nice Porterhouse steak paired with cauliflower mash and asparagus. We Yelped a butcher on the way home and came across Prime Time Butcher-- which had stellar reviews! We were just 4 minutes away when I yelped it and got there in minutes. Very clean store and friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of meats, patties and other dinner sides. This time around we went with a 2" thick cut porterhouse steak and boy does this baby look beautiful! Check out this marbling!

These folks have the best selection of quality meat and other food around. We always felt it was a treat to buy from there and our kids would fight over any extra servings.

For finest in meats and specialty products you have to look no further than Prime Time Butcher. They have phenomenal aged meats as well as delicious marinated Hanger and Skirt Steak. Just writing this has made me want to dig into a fine Ribeye or aged Porterhouse. I cannot recommend this place more.

Absolutely amazing. Love the dry aged lamb chops but really have had nothing but top quality meats and service.

I drive thirty minutes to shop here. Prime time has the most better then prime aged beef you can find on Long Island. We have never been disappointed. When you see the marbling on the meat, smell the nutty aging process, it's pretty awesome. Prime time also offers the best lamb I have ever had. It is the only lamb my wife will eat. Never gamey, just rich, marbled American lamb. They will ruin you for restaurants. Lastly, I get fresh ducks ordered for me here. Duck goes wrong fast when it is not impeccably fresh and as Lou at prime time says it has to be "fresh." Go here, you may pay a little more but you definitely get the quality you expect. Five stars.

Prime Time Butcher and Lou are a gem in the neighborhood. Everything is top quality. The soups are my favorite from anywhere around!

Gotta say ...this is by far the most marvelous butcher shop! ALL the meats and poultry are beautiful....and Lou is the most helpful butcher I've met. I have not yet cooked the highly recommended "dry-rubbed turkey london broil", which I purchased...but the portobello chicken burgers were delish! I recommend this shop for carnivores looking for the BEST!!

Prime Time offers everything you'd want from a local, family-owned butcher: terrific friendly service, high-quality meats (etc), and variety. They have delicious house made dishes if you don't feel like cooking, plenty to stock your freezer with, and even a well-curated selection of grocery items. It's a one-stop, fantastic place to shop, where you'll be greeted by somebody knows your name (like that famous bar, but with steak. )

My grandson loves turkey meatballs, especially when they are made with the ground turkey chop-meat from Prime. I no longer live on Long Island, yet order from and travel to Prime Time Butchers to pick up the best quality meats ever!

Unless you own a ranch you will not get a better product, the service at this store is more than can be rated in any survey. I've frequented this establishment for over 25 years and will continue for as long as they are there. Awesome people, store and product.

I recently ordered pickup from Prime Time Butchers for the first time. They are only a 10 minute drive away. I ordered online. I had their Steak Burger which was very delicious and their frank on a roll which were also very good. I learned online that they have specials and I signed up for that. The pickup went very smoothly. Prime Time Butchers follow Covid restrictions - online ordering, contactless payments and wearing masks also social distancing . It was a good change from one of my go to lunch places Pete the Greek. If Prime Time Butchers specials are good and reasonably priced I can alternate between Pete The Greek and the Prime Time Butchers when I feel I have to get out of the house and enjoy a lunch pickup! Now, just these small thinks mean so much for our mental well being.

The food is phenomenal at Prime Time !! We have gotten food for the holidays from them for the past 20 years. I would buy a brisket - cook it at home , then bring it back for them to slice. It looks professional and was always delicious. They also have delicious dishes that are already prepared. There is not one negative comment that I can say regarding Prime Time!! Absolutely an A+ in customer service, quality meats, Gluten free items and customer satisfaction. I purchased (2) dry aged rib eye steaks approx. $105. I also purchased gluten free sides and they were delightful and filling. They have potato, macaroni, shrimp, etc salads. They also have delicious soups to go in a glass bottle a Must try! Each time I have purchased here I am 100% satisfied. You pay for what you receive and I am grateful for them. They know each customer and care about the customers likes and dislikes. A must viti in this hidden little lot in Woodbury!

Good quality cuts of meat and hamburger blends are good (especially bliss burger). It's nice to have an old school type butcher in the area. The store is buried in the back of a strip mall so you won't see it from the main road. Seemed like there were a lot of regulars who patronize the store who the counter guys knew by name. Staff was great and I recommend the store. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

I've been a customer at Primetime for 30 years. Lou and Josh are always available to help choose the best meats. Their excellent meats and side dishes are always fresh and healthy.

There is no better butcher shop on LI than Prime Time. Lou is the real deal and all of their steaks are dry aged prime beef, and Lou will happily cut them to order. The steak you get at Prime Time compared to the steak you get at a supermarket, even a high end supermarket, is like comparing Peter Lugar's steak to Sizzler - yeah they're both from cows, but they sure ain't the same cows. If you can appreciate the amazing taste of prime dry aged meat, or have never experienced it, head over to Prime Time and get yourself a couple of steaks, cook them medium rare, and spoil yourself. Here are a bunch of prime, bone-in, dry aged shell steaks from Prime Time cut cut 1 3/4 inches thick. You can see and taste the difference.
