Prince Arthur, Belgravia

This was my first visit to Prince Arthur, located in the charming area of Belgravia. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The team was welcoming, attentive, and friendly throughout. I especially appreciated their thoughtful recommendations for both food and wine. A big shout-out to our server, Josh, his outstanding service truly elevated our dining experience. If you’re a caviar lover, this is the place for you. I’d also highly recommend the Carabinero—it was perfectly grilled, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The tomato salad brought a burst of freshness to the meal, complimented by delicious hints of melon. Although we were nearly full, we couldn’t resist ordering dessert. The Basque cheesecake came highly recommended, and we also opted for the chocolate mousse. Neither disappointed! The creaminess of both desserts still has me dreaming for more. As the evening progressed, the restaurant’s atmosphere became increasingly lively, with live Spanish acoustic music adding to the ambiance. We decided to stay a little longer at the bar and enjoy a cocktail while taking in the entertainment.

The food here is top drawer, we had the lobster rice, the grilled octopus, monkfish, oysters and spider crab. A flavour sensation with every dish! Desserts didn’t disappoint either with an amazing basque cheesecake and choux bun. Service was excellent, we will definitely be returning!

I visited this place in April 2025 with a friend. I had to book this place 2 months in advance as it is popular and viral on social media. This place is a pub but doesn’t really feel like a pub other than the very large tv that was playing Spanish football. There would have been nowhere to sit and watch the screen. The rest of the tables away from the bar area had white tablecloths and felt more like a restaurant. We ordered the: - Potatoes with crab - White Asparagus - Lobster Rice - Tomato Salad - Gallican Blonde Steak - cooked medium rare - Basque cheesecake - Cocktails - Glass of red wine Overall the food was good. You can tell they source really quality produce. Cheesecake was flawless. The reason for the low rating is my expectation vs cost vs overall experience. This place is not special and comes with a high price tag. For this cost there are so many better places to go to in London. The starter portions are very small and the steak could have done with greater char / deeper flavour in crust which would bring out better the flavours of a beautiful piece of meat like this.

What a great place. There was 3 of us who visited, we had booked well in advance and when we arrived they tried to sit us upstairs which was totally empty, there were plenty of seats downstairs so we refused to sit upstairs as there was no atmosphere at all, they apologised and said they are still getting it right with bookings, that’s fair enough. The wine food and service was very good no complaints at all, the staff were very nice and good fun, we had oysters, mussels, scotch egg, potatoes, cavier, the steak was great and the lobster risotto, the side salted potatoes. All a bit pricey but you get what you pay for Excellent food and great venue Thank you

Had an amazing evening drinking Champs🍾and eating Steak🥩. The staff were amazing and the food was outstanding, I would visit again and again. I have read the reviews from months ago and believe if true, this place has changed things around as my experience was nothing less than exceptional 😊💕

It’s a nice pub with a great atmosphere but the food feels overpriced considering the portion size and overall quality, especially since that we paid over £170 each. Between the three of us, we shared the txangurro crab on turbot dripping potatoes (the crab didn't taste fresh and it was too salty), tuna (this was nice), focaccia (went well with the lemon oil of the tuna dish), asparagus (fine), carabinero (I was curious to try this but it was not worth £25 for one prawn and this was actually forgotten until we brought it up at the end of the meal), Galician blond (it was ok but not melt in your mouth like other Galician steaks I've had and it was pricey) and the sides of tomatoes and peppers (really small portions and it didn't overly complement the steak).

Stuff is professional! Food is great! Had both dinner and lunch there. Highly recommend there ‘catch of the day’. The basque cheesecake was to die for

Found them my new favourite Basque spot in London and in a gastropub (look out Devonshire!). It was the perfect day to also try this spot - blue skies and sunny weather outside, perfect for some great seafood and chill vibes. Every single item we ordered was top notch from the fatty tuna to the red mullet to the langoustines to the tomatoes, so so good! And didn’t get a pic of the basque cheesecake but that was A too! Perfectly paired with some good wine, which they have a great collection of! Highly recommend.
