I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this place, yet. We moved here a year or so ago and was our go-to pizza for easily the first 7/8 months after moving here. Our last I-don't-know-how-many pizzas have been sad, without enough cheese. There is a good 2" of cheese missing (not including the crust, of course, just the traditional cheesed area of a pizza). I have already reviewed this situation directly via the company's follow up email, but the pizzas have been like this with every order since. I realize that they get busy, especially on Padres game days - but it's like this on game days AND non game days. We used to order regularly every week, but we let that fall the last few months because of the lack of cheese. This last order may have put us over the edge and make us want to look elsewhere. Their location is a good one, not only is it walking distance from our home but it's in Gaslamp so a great spot if you're on your way to a game or the Convention Center. We used to see their manager with every visit, and he always made it a point to thank us for the business - no matter how busy they were. I guess that person is gone, I haven't seen him in months, which may explain why the pizza isn't as good as it used to be. Thank you for reading my review.

Google
We had heard about this pizza place from my son. We weren’t super hungry so having an option to buy a slice of pie was right what we were looking for. I had no idea that this place was so popular among celebrities as there was a bunch of pictures on the wall of them visiting the restaurant. I went with the hot honey pepperoni slice, and it did not disappoint. It was pretty tasty. I’m not sure I can eat a whole pie of it, but it was definitely worth the slice.

Google
Prince Street Pizza was absolutely amazing. The moment I took a bite, I could tell how fresh everything was. Unlike a lot of other spots, the pizza wasn’t greasy — just perfectly balanced. It had that rare combination: crunchy yet soft. It’s hard to describe and even harder to pull off, but they nailed it. The staff made the experience even better. They were incredibly helpful, patient, and welcoming. As for the prices — very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting. The only downside? There’s no seating. But honestly, don’t let that stop you. Grab your slice and enjoy it outside or on the go. This place is truly serving up greatness. A must-try for any pizza lover!

Google
The pizza here is amazing. I got the spicy spring and the boozey broome slices, and they hit the spot! This pizza shop is located downtown and was a fun walk through the city to get here. There isn't much seating, so be prepared to eat standing up or take it to go somewhere and eat. Whichever you choose, you'll just be glad you have one of these slices to eat! I went on a Wednesday around 5pm and was able to get in and out of the place within 15mins. They're quick to serve and all the staff is really friendly! I recommend stopping by if you're in the area looking for a bite to eat.

Google
The hype was crazy about this place especially when it opened in January 2023. Unfortunately I was living abroad but finally when I made it back to San Diego, it was time to try it. There were so many flavors that looked amazing like Sunset Square, Naughty Pie, Boozey Broome. But I ended up going with the Spicy Spring Pie which has Fra Diavolo Sauce, Pepperoni, Fresh Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano. I was with 3 others so this was nice to share the pizza. It was definitely enough as well. Solid amount of grease, cheese, and pepperoni...everything I wanted and more!! I did come here a 2nd time and got the Sunset Square which has Sweet Marinara, Fresh Mozzarella, Shredded Mozzarella and Pecorino Romano. To be honest, it was a bit underwhelming, I would definitely go for the whole pizza and the Spicy Spring Pie.

Omar

Google
Tried Prince Street Pizza while visiting and the pizza definitely lived up to the hype — super flavorful, especially the spicy slices. That pepperoni hits different! Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the service was slow, even though the place wasn’t that busy. We waited longer than expected. But the quality of the food made up for it — I’d still come back for another slice.

Google
Best Chicago deep dish style pizza in San Diego! Greasy and well prepared, menu is diverse with good options. We got delivery and it was still very hot by the time it came! Very filling. Forgot to take before pics because we just dove right in, delicious!

Jess

Google
Not my favorite Detroit style pizza in SD but glad we gave it a try. I had the vegan slice and my husband tried a regular slice. I always appreciate when vegan options are on the menu but this won't be my go to place when I'm craving Detroit style pizza.

Yelp
I'm literally always so satisfied when I come here!!! The service is so good and the vibes are immaculate. This location is the best and the pizza tasted like heaven!!! I got the square four cheese pizza (deep dish I think). So good I highly recommend if you love cheesy goodness

Tracy T.

Yelp
Excellent customer service and the pizza was so good! We had a large group to feed and they were very helpful! Everyone loved the choices and the gluten free was amazing!

Yelp
2DELISHHHH. I was full with 2 slices. Def would eat here again Doesn't match New York's but it's still settles the craving Nothing can beat those delicious oily pepperonis. YUM Window ordering with fast efficienct service. Sometimes hard to find parking

Yelp
I'm always looking for the best pizza wherever I go--Prince Street has been on my bucket list for a while and while I will admit it was good, it was on the greasier and more expensive side for a classic New York grandma slice. (My rating is mainly for the regular cheese or pepperoni slices/pies in order to keep the reviews consistent) Taste: 7/10 | I got recommended to get the spicy spring pie slice which after being reheated was still not fully hot. It was also greasy due to being topped with pepperoni cups filled with oil. Price: 5/10 | $7 for a slice which is definitely pricey! Vibe: 7/10 | No indoor seating available, but I was able to enjoy the slice at the nearby standing tables outside

Yelp
Pizza lovers, don't miss out this place. They make Pizza from scratch and have a lot of flavors to try. They keep on making fresh pizzas all day long. Many celebrities have visited them and tried their pizza. They have a wall decorated with pics of celebrities. You can order Pizza by piece. I ordered couple of different flavors as I wanted to try everything and the taste did not disappoint. The place is a bit pricey if you compare it with national brands like dominos and I will give it a 8 out 10 on DVFM score. Enjoy !! DVFM- Dees value for money score !!

Yelp
Visited last Sunday night around 7 PM and no crowd at all! Noah was so friendly and welcoming when he helped us at the register! Would definitely recommend going back to this place, especially when it's not rush hours! Food was amazing as always!!

Yelp
Still a great pizza spot in downtown and still five stars I would say that you should get the vodka Pizza and any of the meat. Pizzas are a great addition to your plate. We came on a weekend and it was not too crowded so I would say that the hype is still there, but it wasn't as bad as people might think it be. I heard earlier that people drove about two hours just to get to this pizza spot The service is usually good and I would say that they are friendly and have good recommendations

Yelp
I've been wanting to take my friends here ever since they opened, and we finally stopped by for a late lunch after Padres Fan Fest. My husband tried the Naughty Pie and absolutely loved it. I went for the vegan pizza, it's my favorite vegan pizza in San Diego! My friends really enjoyed the pizza too and are already talking about ordering one for their next pizza night. While we were eating, we noticed a sign for the Not Ranch Dip, supporting the LA wildfires. We didn't grab it since we saw it after we ordered, but it's awesome to see them supporting a cause. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Yelp
The famous, legendary, and delicious New York pizzeria has two pizzerias in San Diego! And they're just as good and authentic as they are in New York! And the service in San Diego is friendlier than in New York! $7 Spicy Spring is their claim to fame, loaded with pepperonis, topped with hot honey, and on their heavenly square crust that's crispy outside and fluffy inside. $7 The Naughty Pie has their special Prosciutto infused Spicy Vodka Sauce, , Pepperoni, Ricotta, and Hot Honey. Spicier, and tasty! $6.25 The Fancy Prince is their authentic New York thin crust done margherita style with fresh basil, sweet tomato sauce, and mozzarella...simple but delicious with that amazing New York Crust! Minus one star, as it is a bit pricy, and it's take out only...no where to sit and enjoy. Just some outside standing only bars.

Yelp
Moving along with my yelp reviews for 2025. I'm pretty sure that I've ate here before. Late party & baseball game nights. Today was New Year's Day. It' was a surprise to see that Gaslamp wasn't bustling. The crew on duty had high spirits & good menu recommendations! I got a naughty pie - well that's what my pizza slice was called. I can be naughty- *()‧*・ The only problem for me was there was only standup eating area.

Yelp
Being from NY, I don't typically eat pizza much when I'm out of state. However, I was craving pizza and decided to give this place a try. It was really good! Also got a side of hot honey, which was really good on top. Picking it up was fast and easy (although I did have to find street parking, which I can see being tricky).
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
Always a good late night snack. Service is quick, food is always good. The hot honey pie is my favorite!

Yelp
I used to have to wait in long lines in NYC for this pizza, now I don't! If you're not familiar with Prince St. Pizza, it originated in New York. Now, I want to make it clear that I don't come here for the New York-style pizza per say (the thing slice that you fold in half). No, this place makes a great Detroit-style pan pizza. What's unique about this place is that they use "New York water" to make their pizzas consistent with the original location. Parking: Being in the Gaslamp District, parking can be tricky, but there are nearby garages and metered street parking. Ideally, you're already on foot if you're coming to visit this place. The Naughty Pie is one of my favorites. It has those small pepperoni cups that curl up and get perfectly crispy. The hot honey ties the saltiness and cheesiness together. The slice was perfectly toasted to give it a great crunch. Overall, if you're craving a quick slice of delicious pizza, go to Prince St. Pizza. It's not the cheapest, but it's an amazing slice that will definitely hit the spot.

Yelp
Prince Street Pizza is worth the hype. While visiting San Diego, this was the pizza place our friends wanted us to try, especially because it's from New York. I loved New York's pizza, so I was very excited to try! We got the naughty pie, meat lovers, spicy vodka, and 4 cheese. My favorite was the naughty pie, but all were delicious. Really nothing bad to say and would recommend you trying! A celeb favorite for a reason!

Yelp
Went here with high expectations but was disappointed after eating the pizzas. Pizza by the slice: Veggie, meat lovers, and signature were $6.50 each were a deal! Nothing special on flavor, although I do appreciate the generous amount of toppingd, 3.5/5 stars overall. The service was amiable and rapid, but the pies from Bronx Pizza and Luigi's are far better.
google avatar

Arleen A.

Yelp
I've only had Prince Street Pizza at events, so I was thrilled to finally visit their shop in downtown San Diego! The pizza here is insanely good, definitely the best pizza in San Diego now, haha. I've had the Naughty Pie slice a few times, and it's always the best. This time, I also tried the Sunset Pie, which has a deliciously sweet marinara sauce and an incredible cheese pull. I'll definitely be grabbing a slice every time I'm in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Noah and the staff were awesome, even though they were closing, they were attentive and respectful to all the customers Music playlist was a vibe, fire beats
google avatar

Breanna N.

Yelp
Have a slice day! Experience (5/5 stars): *Food: The Naughty Pie was my fav! Ricotta with pepperoni, crust was thick and crunchy *Price: ~$6 per slice *Service: great! they replaced some of our burnt slices for new ones Overall, I'd come back here for more pizza!

Yelp
I first had Prince Street Pizza in New York a couple of years ago, and I was so excited to find one here in San Diego while I was walking around Gaslamp! I couldn't wait to have it again. The Naughty Pie was amazing--such a perfect bite after a night out drinking. The staff is also super quick at serving a crowd, even with the long lines!

Yelp
The end of the year is comming up and the food places are going to be crowded yet the one place that has the best is there in the Gaslamp on Market. One of the greatest places for the best in the New York Slice nice and thick and the spicy honey dipping sauce sweet of the fire Cracker . With the city of San Diego bracing for the largest New Years Eve when the clock strikes 12 midnight what is the best food after having several drinks is some of the best New York Style Pizza. The best pepperoni and the spicy sauce the best on the block when you like warm pizza Prince street is the place the many people that show to the ball games you see at Prince before the game . With the size of the Prince street pizza there is one thing that you can say that Prince Street is the best of 2024. The ambiance of the store has the feel of the Bronx with the flavor of New York .the pizza of the Prince Street is one that has the flavor of the spice and the great taste of vodka. From the thick slices to the wide slices that have the best tasting pepperoni. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many places of 2024 there are some places that I consider the best with great customer service with the New York style of the best welcome . Prince street has the ovens and the many pizzas that get made for the customers. With the best of the pizzas you can see with a sweet honey that makes the pizza one of the best .

Yelp
Is it just me or is Prince Street Pizza starting to pop up at more places? We don't mind though. We like their pizza. Not gonna lie...we've mainly stuck with our favorites from Prince St Pizza - the spicy spring, naughty pie, and spicy vodka. They're enjoyable pizzas so it's hard to stray from it. We were happy to learn that one would pop up in LA a few years ago. Now during a visit to Gaslamp in SD, we found that there's one there too, and didn't miss the opportunity to stop by since we were in the area. Every time that I think that it might be more hype, I take that first bite into that spicy spring and all the pepperoni and think, "Okay yes, this. Is. good!" Wifey loves it too and she's the pizza lover/critic!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Unfortunately, prince street does not live up to it's hype. Living in NYC, I had to see what it tastes like outside of the city. Got a slice of their naughty pie and while the flavor was decent (primarily tasting Mikes Hot Honey), the Detroit style dough was hard, thick and dry. The pepperoni cups were minimal. Perhaps it was an off day but it just wasn't great at all.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Came here and tried the naughty pie to go. It was delicious. My only complaint is that its in downtown San Diego and street parking is very limited. I parked right outside and called to ask if they could bring it out to me, and they did without hesitation - service is impeccable! Oh, and when I called to order, I had asked the receptionist to ask the kitchen staff to double cut the slices as I had ordered a whole pie for a party. They forgot and made it slightly more complicated as I had to cut them myself at the party... but its ok, everyone's human. It's junk too because I had to pay over the phone before they could prepare my order, and left a tip for the kitchen staff when I paid. Anyways, hope its just a fluke and hope I'll be able to come back and try some of their other flavors in the future.
google avatar

Gerald P.

Yelp
My son suggested this place again and i cannot help but gush over the pizzas! I love the Naughty Pie - with cheese, pepperoni and drizzled with honey...so so good and the balance with the saltiness and sweet is just ! Service is quick. The smell of freshly baked pizza wafts through the air, enticing customers as they wait in line, which often extends out the door. The bright red and white color scheme adds a touch of energy, and the open kitchen allows diners to see the pizza-making process, enhancing the communal feel. The overall ambiance is friendly and welcoming, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists looking to enjoy a delicious slice of pizza.

Yelp
1. Great service & staff knows the menu well 2. Hot fresh pizza made constantly 3. Quick service Must try. I have gone to the OG in NYC & it"s nice to have it here in Cali.
google avatar

Krishen W.

Yelp
I have been here before but this time I came for the too good to go deal, which was 7 dollars for 4 slices of pizza (albeit from the night before).
google avatar

Brian I.

Yelp
A New York based pizza joint but not your average New York pizza slice. If you want a variety of Sicilian type pizza I highly recommend this place. You have many options including Vegan options as well. It's as simple as it is as you are welcomed with a selection of ready to go pizzas so you actually get to see what you're going to eat. I've tried a good amount of them and you can't go wrong, including the Vegan one. The ambiance is pretty cool as it's a small area where you just order your pizza and go. It's filled with photos of people that have visited both their location and the original location. They have some seating arrangements outside if you're lucky to enjoy your food then and there.
google avatar

Elie E.

Yelp
I don't know what the pizza tastes like because they ran out. Listen, it happens and I understand that. But the staff was laughing at us when they announced it. It was humiliating and I will never go back again.
google avatar

Aurianna B.

Yelp
The pizza is 5/5, the long wait in line to order is 3/5. Stopped by around 11:30 and it took approximately 30 minutes to make it in and order. There was still a long line when our Uber got there around 12:30 am. Security at the door was doing a great job keeping everything moving nicely. They had 2 lines, one for slices and the other for whole pies. The slices are pretty big and filling. Ordered a slice of the Fancy Prince, Sunset square, the naughty pie and spicy vodka. All were incredible. I think my favorite was the naughty pie. That honey drizzle was a nice touch. Honestly I really didn't like the long wait, kinda drunk after bar hopping with the ladies and wanted instant gratification. We inhaled our food tho, hence no pics.
google avatar

Thomas B.

Yelp
Great pizza! Good selection, definitely spicy when it says so. I had all thick crust. I'll try the thin crust next time. Will eat here again!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Finally tried this place after having it on the radar for a while. The thick crust pepperoni slice was the winner with crispy pepperoni on top, and a nice balance of sauce and cheese. The crust was crispy as well. Also tried a regular slice of the margherita which was great as well but not as good as the thick crust. Location is close to the busy part of gas lamp.
google avatar

Yelp
Went back today before flight to get another slice and my husband did as well. I got a picture this time, but they didn't warm it up enough. Not the same woman that was so great the other day. I had some time to kill on a gorgeous day, so I walked all over the place and decided to grab something from here. It's just a tiny spot, but they had no less than 12 different pies available that all looked amazing! Being from the northeast, I was hesitant how good it could be, but the young lady that took my order was originally from New Jersey, so I trusted she wouldn't work here if it wasn't good. Well, it wasn't good...more like "perfect". I ordered a slice of Prince Perfection. It's Sicilian style, but thinner than I'm used to, but it was crispy in the outside, but light on the inside with a little chew. It has a layer of cheese then delicious sauce and sprinkled with pecorino Romano cheese. Shocking that something that good is being sold for $6 in San Diego, but I'm happy I was able to enjoy it!
google avatar

Sesang Y.

Yelp
Food: 6.5/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Maybe I'm not eating it right. Maybe it's because I'm a health freak. Maybe it's just not my type of pizza. But I feel like Prince Street is overhyped. The pizzas are either way too oily or too salty in my opinion compared to other similar pizzas. But I do crave the honey pizza time to time hahaha
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
I am absolutely loving the multiple locations in SoCal. After first trying this at its original spot in NYC, I fell in love with this one of a kind pizzeria. So far I've eaten at the locations in WeHo and Pasadena. This location at the Gaslamp upholds the same quality and taste as all the others. My husband and I happened to stumble across this familiar sight after learning the bars stopped serving food after midnight already. We waited in a line that was out of the door and reached the front within 15 minutes. We both got a slice of the Naughty Pie. It was delicious with its thick soft and crispy crust. The honey drizzle on top of the spicy pepperoni was perfect on a nice layer of melted cheese. The service was efficient and friendly. The inside is bigger than NYC's but there's only standing tables outside to eat your pizza on top of. I highly recommend ending your night with fresh pizza! I'm already craving more of their pizza as I write this!
google avatar

Trinh T.

Yelp
Food: The pizza is served warm, fresh, and flavorful, with big, satisfying pieces that make it worth the wait. I tried the Spicy Spring Pie & The Naughty Pie. I prefer the Spicy Spring but they're both really good! It also depends if you enjoy pizzas with marinara vs vodka sauce as well. Service: The workers are lively, upbeat, and conversational, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. Ambiance: It's a small place with limited outdoor seating, but it's a nice spot to walk by and grab a pizza late at night.
google avatar

Ronald T.

Yelp
I may never have stumbled upon this gem if it weren't for a Yelp event. The event was open to all Yelpers to register, and if anointed, you were to receive a free slice. I got anointed, and I was excited to try. I was concerned about long line or downtown parking. But I must have been a good boy that day cause the heavens found me a parking spot across the street and there was no line at 3 pm I got my free slice... but then I bought a whole pie. Cause it's that dang good!!!
google avatar

Halle J.

Yelp
Skip the regular triangle pizza and always go for the squares-it's what they're known for and best at. My personal favorite (and my entire houses) is the "naughty pie". The spicy pepperoni and vodka sauce are the perfect combo. This place can get busy so, if you can, order ahead online to skip the line. With that said the staff moves pretty quickly and it seems like they've got a good flow to get people in and out. This is not a sit in restaurant!! You can join the groups of people lingering around the building to eat their slice or take it elsewhere!

Yelp
First and only experience at prince street pizza happened a few months back and only sharing now because I saw they opened a location in pb. Good for them. I went in on a busy Saturday night to pickup my call in order. There were two lines, one for ordering and one for pickups. Finally get to front of line for pickups. Lady cuts me. I ask her why, she gets loud, my order comes out and one of the guy workers tells me to take my order and "get the fuck out." I don't really blame the dude, because it was busy as hell, and I'm sure he had no clue what was going on. I get that because I've been in the industry since I was 18. Coming up on 40 now. Good pizza, but yeah, the experience was lacking.
google avatar

Liza L.

Yelp
YES! Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. We came twice during our trip. I'm the type that likes a shit ton of veggies on my pizza so day 1 I opted not to get any... we got back to the house & I tried some of my bf's & immediately was like... we're going back tomorrow lol. The naughty pie is where it's at! The honey just tops it off perfectly. We ended up basically ordering a full pie on day 2. The staff is dope. They play the best jams, good vibes all around.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
This place is simply incredible. If you come to San Diego and don't visit Prince Street Pizza you're simply doing yourself a disservice. I've had a lot of pizza from all over the country and this is right at the top. Do you like amazing flavors? Covered there. The vodka sauce and spicy marinara are both incredible. Do you like a crunchy crust? Also covered. Do you like it quickly? You're covered there. The interior of the shop isn't anything to write home about. The star of the show is the pizza. We tried a whole pie the first night and walked it back to the hotel. I recommend getting slices at the shop and eating them on the sidewalk out front. You won't beat that pizza experience.
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
Solid pizza, flavor was good, loved the spice and the slice is in a unique square shape. Workers were very nice and funny, great late night bite. Wished it was warmer.

Honest Review S.

Yelp
Worth the wait! Went on a Saturday night so expected the line to be long.. and it was. Took about 25 minutes to order but WOW so worth it! Pizza was nice and crispy and don't as for no damn ranch!!

Yelp
Our first time coming to San Diego to try this place. We ordered: - Spicy Spring Pie ($45) it had Fra Diavolo Sauce, Spicy Pepperoni, Fresh Mozzarella, & Pecorino Romano. We also wanted to add hot honey to our pizza which was $4 extra. Highly recommend adding the honey because it made it so much better. It was sweet and savory - the perfect combination !!! However, I wish they would add more honey to the pizza as you can only taste it in certain areas. We went home to add more honey and it was superb. Overall, the texture of the pizza was perfect, not too soft but not too crunchy. Perfect thickness as well. The amount of pepperoni given was great but don't know if it is worth the $45 from what we got but it was interesting to try.
google avatar

Rexie S.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this place and my friend recommended the naughty pie. Spicy vodka sauce with ricotta honey and spicy pepperoni on a pan crust. And a four cheese slice for my son. Friendly service. You can buy pizza by the slice or whole. They have a wall with all the celebrities that came by their place and a mural of the Padres. Standing area outside to eat your pizza no sitting area. I would like to try their other pizzas.
google avatar

Darius O.

Yelp
Prince street pizza is a New York style pizza. The good: the pizza was amazing. Came out fresh of the oven and had an amazing crisp to it. Tons of pepperoni that were a little spicy. We also ordered a full Margherita pizza which was BOMB. All the ingredients were super fresh. The bad: We unintentionally went after the Padres game ended and it was towards the end of the night and there was limited selection. Going during non peak hours is a must.

Yelp
Never ordered from UBER eats before, but today I was working downtown and couldn't leave for an extended period of time. Downloaded the app and Prince Street Pizza popped up first on the feed. So I placed an order for their whole Spicy Spring Pie. Placed the order and Adrian the UBER driver accepted to order right away. Order arrived approximately 30mins later and was still hot when we received it. Dug into the pizza right away and I'm not lying when I tell you, probably the best pizza I've had in San Diego. My co-workers and I thoroughly enjoyed every slice. The amount of pepperoni was no joke. Most places scarcely scatter a few around the pizza. Clearly not Prince Street Pizza. Literally every bite had pepperoni in it. The sauce was perfect as well as the cheese. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying other pizzas from Prince Street.
google avatar

Yelp
The first time I tried Prince Street was at their original New York location so I was thrilled to hear they expanded to California! It is just as great as New York. Their spicy vodka sauce and pepperoni pizza with honey are to die for!! Service is fast, prices are decent. There's no room to eat inside but some standing tables near the street or it's still great to-go!

Chris R.

Yelp
I went to the PB location $6 out the door for a small piece of dough barely painted with sauce and a tiny bit of cheese I'm sure their rent is insane but.. RIP Denny's

Went on a Friday around 5:15-5:30. There was a line, but not too long. We maybe waited 5 minutes to order. The guys working were really nice, but also kept things moving. We ordered slices. I went for the Naughty Pie and Spicy Spring. There is definitely a good amount of grease, so I was "that person" and got some off with a napkin. There was still plenty though for the flavor. The pepperoni on both had nice crispy edges. The crust was the perfect amount of crispy, chewy, fluffy perfection without being overly filling like a Chicago style can be. My husband tried one of their regular slices also, but said he preferred the squares. The spicy sauces just had a hint of spice, so unless you are really sensitive to spice, you should be good. Slices were getting out to people fast. I did notice as people came in to pick up whole pizzas most had like a 10 minute wait. You never know though if people were early or the food was running behind. Overall if you are a cheese pizza or pepperoni fan, this is definitely a spot for you. There is a vegan option, but this isn't a place where you will find vegetables on pizza. I do wish there was one option with veggies, but I will 100% still be back.
