This place is very cute. They have a robot that wishes you Happy Birthday. We enjoyed their rose tea and English toffee tea. You can have your tea with boba. The purple yam souffle and banana cheesecake were delicious. Perfect spot to bring both kids and adults for a fun tea party.

The place is cute but $10 to be served a fruit salad of unwashed, moldy berries is a little rough. The tea was nice but the napkin and cup were both dirty. I wiped them before I took a photo but berry salad below. Visible white mold in the blackberries and the blueberries have a dusty taste to them. The strawberries were mushy. I'm sure their baked goods are better and this is definitely a nice place for tea with a friend but eat elsewhere first I suppose. I just expect more basic clean presentation for $22.

I really enjoy my afternoon tea with my sissy. We were visiting from Texas. It was clean, and a really unique experience. Fun watching the cat robot.

Google
This is a really nice cafe. The tea was all really good and so were the cakes. They even have a cute cat robot going around. No problems with any of the service or food.

This is a well decorated dessert place, a great spot for friends hanging out, dates and parties. The Millie crepe cakes are a specialty here, made in house fresh daily, recommend green tea , purple yam and durian. For tea a must try is rose milk tea. For parties they offer sweet tables, they take birthday parties, baby shower, bridal shower, corporate event and holiday party.

Google
As a huge fan of the Prince tea houses in Brooklyn, I’ve been meaning to give the Chinatown one a try. The atmosphere and decor was amazing like expected, but I was a bit disappointed by their ube soufflé and brown sugar crepe cake. The crepe cake was overpoweringly sweet with all the additional brown sugar drizzled on. The cake itself was spot on with perfect texture, but the extra sugar ruined it for me. The ube soufflé didn’t taste like it had the right consistency nor did I really taste the ube flavors.

Google
Great service, reliable food and tea. Glad tipping is included in cost of service starting 1/1/2024, prices are still reasonable

Google
Didn’t know PTH could have a terrible location til I came here; underwhelming service, decor, plating, and quality. They don’t take your order themselves, forget add ons selected even when it’s placed digitally. Everything “Vanilla” is yellow unlike every location’s white Vanilla. A lot of quality issues and plates were all chipped. Go to PTH, just not here

Yelp
Came for a birthday, and they don't take reservations but it wasn't overly crowded for a Saturday. We got seated right away. The ambiance is lovely, and seems they have a back where they celebrate special occasions. I ordered the iced matcha latte and it wasn't overly sweet. It had a good consistency. The California sandwich with crabmeat and spicy mayo was also pretty tasty. Definitely have to go back for actual tea party. They usually have a cute robot serving, but it was being charged that day. Lovely vibes with hearty atmosphere.

Yelp
Love their desserts especially the crepe cakes. My favorite is the boba crepe cake that drizzled with brown sugar syrup, topped with boba. The cake is very rich and creamy but not too sweet. There are variety of cakes and desserts on the menu. You order on your phone by scanning from the QR code. Our nearby table was having the high tea set looks very cute and appetizing. I will definitely come back to try some more

Yelp
Walked in with a group of friends for some dessert on a Friday evening and was able to be seated relatively quickly. They have a selection of cute desserts and teas that are perfect for sharing. The decor is very princess-y and the ambiance is nice because they don't crowd the tables. I like that they put the teapot over a candle to keep it warm for you. Also if you let them know it's your birthday they bring you a candle with whatever cake you order! Super fun!

Yelp
I wanted to find a dessert place with a bathroom, and that's pretty hard to find in China town. Plus, not many places stay open late, and this does. From the outside, looking inside, it looked nice and roomy. I knew without reservations that my friends and I could get in without waiting too long. I was right. We waited just a few minutes. I found it quite interesting how there was a robot server that helped out the waitresses. It didn't do much except carry drinks and food. Once you sit down, there's a qr code to order your meal at the table. Everything is done on your phone, which was convenient. There wasn't a particular dessert that I enjoyed from what we all ordered. Everything was average. We all got herbal or non caffeinated tea. I think we could've shared the teas amongst the group to make it more worthwhile. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll be back, but I had a good time as I didn't feel rushed and pressured to leave even though it started getting late.

Yelp
Decent spot to host an event! We held my sister's Bridal Shower here for a party of 30. Due to the size of our event, we rented out the back half of the business - minimum spending is $1200, which is feasible to hit when you order their items in bulk, and you get the area for 3 hrs. I was put in touch with the manager, Shu, when I called Prince Tea House. She was extremely thorough and helpful with pricing, table seating, and food for the event. They're also able to provide a good amt of decorations, depending on what you're interested in. There's no set party/drink menu for events - you customize the menu to your liking with the staff. Food - taste-wise was alright, not bad, not stellar - it was fine for our party. The only con was that other people had to pass through our event to use the bathroom, and staff were walking in + out of the kitchen, BUT everyone who passed through was very respectful and apologetic! Shu and all the staff who helped out were very friendly and accommodating to our event needs! Overall, I'd recommend Prince Tea House to those who are interested in having an event there, as they're accommodating to all party sizes, and the business is very responsive. Plus, it's very pretty and aesthetic inside, which helps with the ambiance!

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday night and it was not busy at all for our party of 4. I have to admit - the vibe is really cute, it's very Alice in wonderland tea party themed and it's kind of fun having some friends and ordering the tea. I'd give this place maybe a 3.5 because it's kinda expensive for the tea we got. I thought we'd get more hot water to add to our tea but it wasn't really like that. I do like the tea cups and the tea candles but we also didn't get anything to eat. I think it's a cute date spot and something to do after dinner but I am in no real hurry to come back.

Yelp
I have been here 4 times and the servers are either stoic or slightly abrasive but the cakes are 100! Food 5/5 Crepe cakes that almost beat out Lady M quality and more unique flavors 1. Green tea matcha ranked 1st. The grainy matcha consistency is paired well with the smooth crème. The bitter cuts the sweet 2. Purple Yam ranked close 2nd. It even has chunks of taro but it's just a tad bit too sweet. Beautiful color 3. Brown Sugar with boba ranked 3rd. It could have taken 1st especially with the sea salt sprinkled on top but, at last, it was just two tads too sweet. Most unique flavor! 4. Earl Grey Milk tea was too small and too sweet. Will ask for 50% sugar next time if possible Service 3/5 The robot waiter does 50% of work especially if you order a cake with a bday message You order yourself with the QR code at the table The somewhat stoic server brings you the food And the more unfriendly cashier says you didn't pay in an accusatory tone because the QR code system earlier already had your CC information when you ordered so you think you already paid Service can go up to a 4 if you the server actually talks and tells you ordering with QR code system is not the same as paying! Price 3/5 $10 for a slice of cake is not overly expensive $10 for a pot of tea when it's just slightly bigger than a tall boba cup is unreasonable What are you paying for? The tea pot with the floral print sitting on top of a candle holder Price would have been 4 stars if we just got better service Ambiance 4/5 The place is pretty, but the random way too dim lighting and the not so friendly servers who force you to sit in certain tables disturb the ambiance

Alysha J.

Yelp
Don't let the small bites fool you. We ordered the Afternoon Tea for 2. I left incredibly full. The tea was delicious. I was able to add boba and a glass of lychee wine. The service was quick and the ambiance was cute. There is a seating time of 1 hour and half during peak times. They let us stay overtime so my friend and I were able to thoroughly catch up. I cannot wait to visit the Queens location where parking is easier.

Morlene C.

Yelp
I've long favored this mini chain of dessert shops for their crepe cakes made with light cream and the right amount of sweetness. I always prefer my desserts on the less sweet side, and Prince Tea House has the right touch when it comes to their desserts. Their extensive menu has anything from fruit toasts to panna cotta, but are most known for their mille crepe cakes. The tufted booth seats, pink curtains, and floral porcelain tea pots make you feel like you're having posh afternoon tea, but at a fraction of the cost of many other places. The music tends to be a bit loud for my taste, especially since they like to play dramatic Chinese ballad-y tunes where the singers belting it out are often enough to interrupt even those talking with each other in rapt attention. That's maybe the one thing I'd change about Prince Tea House. I also don't know about trying their savory menu options, like avocado toast, twister fries, or squid tails-- this feels like the sort of place known only for their sweets, but if you're craving a little bit of sweet, a little bit of savory, Price Tea House is there to save the day with an extensive menu of both.

Yelp
What a fabulous find! Apparently there are several sites for this chain. We stopped at the one on Bowery in Chinatown. It appears no reservations are necessary as we could not find reservation information on the website. In comparing this with several other afternoon teas we have been to in Manhattan and elsewhere, this one stacks up beautifully and is a great deal for the price. The Ambience is really nice, the place is clean and the two young people who were at the front desk were very welcoming. We were promptly seated and shown the code to scan for the menu; however, there was also an afternoon tea menu on the table. We chose the afternoon tea for two. This includes two pots of tea, a mini fruit cup, and the usual scone and clotted cream, savories and sweets. I chose a Matcha tea which was promptly served piping hot and placed over a small flame. It was thick and rich, and the best Matcha I've ever had. My husband chose the black tea which was also steaming hot and strong. I can't believe how quickly everything came out and perfectly everything was served.. Everything appeared to be freshly made causing me to wonder how they do this. the savories were very interesting and one was definitely Asian combining crab with vegetables. For the price ($70 for two!) and quality this place can't be beat. Most of the other afternoon tea places charge more than that for one. There are also other menu items, some Asian inspired.

Yelp
No matter which location, the decor inside Prince Tea House is always so pretty. This seems to be one of their more spacious locations (compared to their East Village branch). There are small tables to the side that seat 2 and larger ones with a couch that can seat more people. I tried their chicken katsu sandwich with a jasmine milk tea on the side. The sauce in the sandwich complimented the chicken well and the lettuce was crispy. The bread was also toasted on both sides. It was a filling sandwich. For the jasmine tea, I chose 50% sugar and that resulted in a drink that basically tasted like milky watery tea which was disappointing. I think I'll stick to their hot milk teas next time.

Jeannie T.

Yelp
4 stars for Instagrammable decor, appearance of the assorted desserts and tea pots, as well as the tea for two set. Nicely presented. But I can't say the same for the dining experience and taste overall. For the dining experience I'm on the fence, 2.5 to 3 stars. Service was meh and so were the desserts. I enjoyed looking at the many tea options, especially the beautiful website. The vibe of the soft lighting, the crowds of young people laughing and enjoying their experience, good for them. But appearances are so deceiving. Once you look past the pretty facade, you'll come to find each dessert just as mediocre as the next. Refrigerated and not fresh. Quality of each dessert presented just seemed like out of the box desserts. Perhaps I didn't get the signature item to try? The one item that clearly was popular, the Earl Grey crepe cake, as it was sold out. Onto the items I did try: - Earl Grey milk tea, ordered it cold. It was still served with a tea cup set up alongside the tea pot. Pretty to look at but just okay in flavor. Too much milk so it masked the Earl Grey profile. You can taste it but it was not prominent. - Potted Jasmine Green Tea. I enjoyed this one the most, the cheese foam with a flavored sea salt on top and the crushed chocolate cookie topping to resemble soil - sweet and salty at the same time. Again, pretty to look at presentation wise. Each layer of flavor worked best if you don't mix them. - creme brulee combo consisted of little ramekins featuring assorted flavors of creme brulee, Black sesame, green tea, and classic. Only the black sesame had a semblance of flavor. The others just were too watered down. Not a fan. Enjoy the view, take your photos and don't take this place too seriously. The electric cat server was very kitsy but doesn't match the ambiance. So disappointed.

Yelp
Dine in review: Service was nice. The robot service was not working but the staff were friendly in helping show us the digital menu. We ordered two different teas. I cannot remember the one in the back but the aroma for both of them was delightful. The Fleur de Geisha green tea may be my second favorite tea I've ever had thus far. The smell whisked me away with its Sakura scent and gorgeous color. We paired the tea with the combo crème brûlées which had three different flavors (original, green tea, and goma). The non sweetened tea with the slightly sweetened desserts complemented each other wonderfully. I cannot wait to return.

Yelp
My friends and I were looking for a cafe near Soho and decided to check out Prince Teahouse for some tea and desserts. You scan a QR code to view the menu and place your order on your phone. We were all very entertained by the little robot that drives around dropping off orders. For desserts, we shared the purple yam crepe cake, fruit crepe cake, coconut panna cotta with strawberry ice cream. For tea, we got the pu-er tea and lavender oolong tea. I loved all of the desserts. I could easily be convinced to get all of them again. As for the tea, the pu-er tasted a little too smoky for me. But I would definitely get the lavender oolong again. It was so smooth and lovely to drink.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday afternoon a little past lunch time. There were plenty of seats available. A good place to do work since they have wifi. It seems like they have an online ordering system when you go inside, but you actually have to order with a staff member. Got the purple mille crepe cake slice and a fruit toast with strawberry ice cream. I assume the purple in the mille crepe cake is just ube. However, there wasn't much of an ube taste to it. The fruit toast was okay. The fruit was for the most part fresh. There were also cubes of toast inside, but they weren't fluffy. There are a lot of Prince Tea House locations, but I think it's hyped for what it is.

Yelp
My friend and I stumbled into this place on accident. After dinner, it began to pour but we wanted to get boba and desperately needed to use the restroom. We found this place on google maps thinking it'd be your classic milk tea place, WRONG. We were seated upon arriving, and we quickly realized this place was a lot more up-scale that we had initially accounted for. There was even a bridal shower going on in the back! All in all, we wish we would have realized that this place was fancier than we had accounted for because we would have LOVED to have a lovely afternoon tea and biscuits/scones ("Prince" is literally in the name so I don't know what we were thinking). We got two of the teas (I opted for a green tea with lychee jelly, and my friend opted for a matcha latte). The iced tea wasn't particularly memorable or delicious. We also shared the matcha crepe mille cake - and that was certainly something to write home about! Not too sweet, and not overpowering. Service was limited (you order on your phone and a server brings you your drinks, BUT a lovely little robot brought our cake). The mood was fairly neutral - there were all sorts of people around (we witnessed a first date, a bridal shower, a group dinner, and a few friends catching up). It is pretty quiet in there, but not TOO quiet. I am not sure why they still had Christmas decorations up in late June/early July though...

Yelp
So far I had been to 4 Prince Tea house; this is the least favorite one. I guss I m a colorful person so it was not that inviting for me The stuff were very nice & helpful. The restroom was clean & big. And saw a funny sign they post on the bathroom which I had to share The food was great , Altho I should have stick with Nutella instead of condensed milkit become too sweet because of it‍I couldn't even finish it..! The decor is beautiful but dull considering other Prince tea places, I think this maybe the first one. I could be wrong! Please do visit this place.

Akela J.

Yelp
First I want to start by saying this place is super cute, and the robot waiter was the coolest thing I experienced at a restaurant. My favorite tea was the Rose tea it was absolutely amazing and the lavender tea was a close second. We tried pretty much everything on the menu and my only complaint is the chicken sandwich was undercooked and really hard, but everything else was very tasty. Good place to dress up and take pics!

Alexandria R.

Yelp
You can say I am Prince Tea fanatic since I think I have been to almost every location in the NYC metro area (excl. Staten Island). This was my first time tying the Chinatown location and I was excited for the tea! Food/Drinks: 3/5 The menu for all Prince Tea House's are identical but, the way they are execute can be slightly different. For example, I ordered the Bobao tea mille crepe cake and they poured the milk foam and bubbles on my slice. While in another location, they give those items on the side to pour as much as you want. I was disappointed that pre-poured the item because it makes the cake get soggy before it even gets to table to me. My friend order the chocolate lave cake with ice cream and we waited 20 mins for that to come though I received the rest of our order (tea + my cake) well in advance. So kind of awkward. All in all our bill was like around $40 (after 20% tip). Experience: 3/5 Aside from initial seating, we did not talk to the servers as you use the app to order. The seats where slightly dirtied with crumbs so, not a great start. They used a cat faced robot on the floor but it would lost right behind my chair and make an annoying sound to express its confusion. So, I did not have the greatest time while waiting for my friend's meal. All in all, I will admit this was my least favorite Prince tea location. Like I said previous, here you order entirely on your phone. For context, in the Flushing location, you look at the menu on your phone but you still place order with the waitress. So, it just felt like a very isolating experience.

Jess N.

Yelp
The (human) service is meh but the tea and cakes are great! So for that I'll continue to return. Also this location has robot servers that weren't in use while we were there.

Lisa C.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday night and it was much larger inside than expected. The tables were very spacious and it looks like they host many private events with all the decorations they had on display. My party of 4 ordered one pot of lavender milk tea to share which is basically one cup for each of us. We also shared the green tea mille cake, mango mille cake and the toast . I have to say the most disappointing was the green tea cake slice. It honestly tasted like nothing but buttercream. Lacked any type of flavor. The mango cake was delicious and the toast was very decadent with the ice cream and fruits. There's a qr code on the table for you to scan and place the order directly. No need to call a waitress over. It was a great environment but some of the desserts need some work.

Clara S.

Yelp
Cute decorations and it seems like you can celebrate events there because there's signs for birthdays, baby showers and bridal showers. I liked the matcha green tea crepe because it wasn't too sweet. We got the passion fruit green tea and black tea and loved both!!

Kristen C.

Yelp
I loved visiting Prince Tea House! This place is so cute and charming, but not overly pretentious and fussy like most places where you can sit down for tea. I have heard a lot of good things about this place, and I can safely say that the hype lives up to reality. Prince Tea House offers an assortment of pastries, cakes, and of course tea. I was happily surprised that I was able to get the Afternoon Tea even though I went in later in the evening around 7/8pm. In my opinion, the Afternoon Tea is a great value. It comes with an assortment of savory sandwiches/tarts and the standard desserts like macaroons, cake, and of course scones. Everything was delicious, and I particularly liked the crepe cake. I absolutely loved the tea options there. I tried one of the rooibos teas and thought it was well-steeped, and it was very delicious. The only downside is that there is a time limit on sitting at the table. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Prince Tea House is a gem.

Selena L.

Yelp
First time trying a tea house and had a solid experience here! We ordered the afternoon tea set for two, with the lavender milk tea and jardin tropical tea. The lavender milk tea was a bit sweet for my taste, but I really enjoyed the fruit flavors in the jardin tropical tea. It was super fun to try all the items on the cart as well, and they were nicely presented and prepared.

Caroline N.

Yelp
This is really a 3.5*. This location has more space than the Flushing location. When we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, there was a family already seated at one of the table. The waiter sat us next to the family. It was a bit difficult to have a conversation when you keep hearing the conversation from the next table. We asked the waiter if we can move to another table after receiving permission we moved. It made both parties more comfortable. We weren't advise to scan the QR code when we were seated. When we got the attention of the waiter, he advised to scan the QR code. After that we weren't sure if we place the order online, you are. We ordered 3 mille crepe (Mango, purple yam, brown sugar boba) and fruit toast. The purple yam is good if you don't want a dessert that is sweet, Mango can be a bit sweet, brown sugar boba is sweet of that is your taste. Fruit toast is good for sharing. If you order a candle, the cat robot delivers the dish to you with a happy birthday music. It's very cute. Though I could have missed it. There is a fee if you use a credit card but no signage stating this.

Madison M.

Yelp
So happy I came here for lunch! I ordered a sandwich, tea, and the brown sugar boba cake. I was very happy with both! My server was also super attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Maggie H.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place. It's my favorite spot to hang out with a group of friends. The interior is very cozy and cute. I really like the way we can scan the QR code and order through our phones. I usually order about 2-3 pots to try other tea flavors. The crepe cake was also sweet and had the perfect texture.

Maysa M.

Yelp
I love everything about this place. The tea is fantastic--my favorite is the English toffee and Jasmine milk tea. I've also tried a few desserts here and you honestly can't go wrong. I've been here both early in the day to catch up with the girls and late night after work to relax. I like this location bye cause the owner is a sweetheart. Also love the esthetic here. There's also a robot roaming around here, which is interesting. 10/10 recommend.

Richard T.

Yelp
Came to visit here after having pleasant experiences with their flushing branch -- it's a easy place to sit down, order some tea and dessert, and converse with friends. The restaurant has an absurd amount of seating, so it's a good choice if your worried about getting to sit in some of the other smaller dessert establishments in Chinatown. They've set up a rather robust system to order food -- you can order through their website link, and not have to go through the hassle of paying until your meal is over (in which you pay jn person) . Service was quick as well, and I think more places should try this ! Not sure when this was implemented, but prepared for a Justin-Bieber obsessed Robot blasting JB smash hits as it goes around delivering orders -- very cute and more amusing than annoying. Mango Crepe tasted great, though the single cube of mango on top just seemed unnecessary. Also ordered the mint herbal tea, which is a good choice for non-sweet tooth's and late nights (non-caffeinated) Only other puzzling thing was that we were told we had to leave for another party that was going to take our table, even though the space was only at half capacity? Not sure what that was about

Aprille R.

Yelp
Super cute afternoon tea spot. Plenty of choices on their menu. My favorite was their earl gray tea. It was the perfect choice for a chilly day. The pastries/sweets were ok. The boba millicake was disappointing. The trip creme brulee was a good choice. Our favorite was the black sesame one.

Katey G.

Yelp
My first visit to Prince Tea House! Their menu is interesting with different teas and desserts. I got the "potted plant mango pink tea" which was basically mango tea, milk top, and crumbled Oreo. It was kind of a bizarre combo but it worked! Would order again. We got the Mille Feuille and fruit toast to share. The Mille Feuille was good, not noteworthy. But.... The fruit toast! Wow. This was amazing. Fruit piled on a THICC slice of toast topped with matcha ice cream and condensed milk. A heavenly combination. Come for the fruit toast!

Christina P.

Yelp
Food was great! Was a little on the pricier side for my liking and in my opinion, you could get a similar crepe cake elsewhere, but it definitely was quality matcha and the layers beautifully displayed for a nice shot. I ordered a mango slushie too, not pictured, with no sweetness, but it still tasted really syrupy and too sweet for my liking. No matter, the service was fine, they give you a lot of room to talk which I liked. Little robots serve you too which was cool. I was a bit confused by the vibe of of the place in that it was tea party themed while wearing casual clothes, but they also host wedding parties as well as baby showers in a separate room you can see into, which I also thought was weird and slightly non-personal. No matter, it was a really cute place, definitely worthy of social media shots.

Shabby A.

Yelp
I've been to this in Princeton NJ, so my expectations were high, since Princeton one is really good. Happy that ambience was amazing, warm and inviting. Very lively atmosphere. Attendants were polite and prompt. Food was disappointing in some sense. Our drinks - Mint lemonade and passion flower mocktails, were not cold enough. They served deviled eggs which was seriously weird. Three sandwiches, one big scone and two mini dessert & a macaron . Sandwiches were open sandwiches, so not that great. Hope they improve them

Lisa D.

Yelp
Fun place to take tea with dessert fans who can dairy (only the mochi was a non dairy option.) Lovely tea options and the novelty of a cat robot server entertained my out of town guests:)

Katherine D.

Yelp
Fresh, ambient, homey, classy, and of course, delightful. What more can I say but I enjoyed being in here for casual tea drinking with a couple of friends. The mango cake, the des amants black tea and the fruity waffle definitely left a tasty impression on me. What really left me the best impression was the service. The people were nice and patient with us. Especially their cute robot cat helper. Definitely recommend this place to other fellow tea enjoyers.

Imo O.

Yelp
Prince Tea House was such a fun and AFFORDABLE spot for afternoon tea in NYC! First, the decor was so aesthetically pleasing! Such a great atmosphere to meet friends for tea, for parties or do to work on your laptop. As we were seated, the menu is all digital. You order directly on your phone with the QR code. The best part, A ROBOTIC CAT CART BRINGS YOUR ORDER! That was probably my favorite part of the whole entire experience. We ordered two pots of tea to share, crème brûlée, and the crepe layer cake! We had eaten prior so we weren't able to get the entire afternoon tea spread. There are so many selection for tea that there is something for everyone! Would definitely come here again and recommend for others to stop by when they are in town! Most affordable and so worth it!

Thao H.

Yelp
Love love love Prince Tea House! It's such an affordable tea and dessert store, and the space is so lovely. I love getting a pot of milk tea with a slice of mille crepe cake.

Jeff Y.

Yelp
Been here several times. Its a nice break from the hectic Chinatown restaurants and cafes. My wife and I primarily like Prince Tea House due to the ambience and the fact that we can hear each other talk. Theres never a sense of urgency or feeling of being rushed! Also.. clean bathrooms!! The food isn't half bad either! Our favorite is the earl grey milk tea!!! Today we tried a couple brunchy sandwiches and they were light and refreshing! I had the California sandwich which was imitation crab meat. It was surprisingly better than we expected! Probably won't be the last time we come here!

Kathryn Y.

Yelp
Been going to Prince tea house for a while now and I really like the crepe cakes and tea in particular. My favorite tea is to have rose milk tea and it actually comes in the shade pink! The crepe cake is also delicious and they have a ton of different flavors. Honestly, I recommend going with a less sweeter tea with the crepe cake since it's already sweet! But ya know whatever floats ur boat haha. The location is super cute and nice to go with a larger party or a great date/one on one spot with a friend. The service is pretty interesting because they have robots that go around the restaurant helping out but the waitresses/waiters are usually pretty alert.

Yelp
Nice dessert place near Chinatown and Little Italy that makes it ideal to go to after a nice dinner in the area! There's ample seating for small and large parties and a wide selection on the menu in terms of dessert and tea. Service is also attentive; they employ a Robot Waiter to bring out the food and drinks which is pretty cool! I usually get the Pate a Choux or Cheesecake; both have generous servings and aren't overtly sweet. I enjoy coming here and will definitely try different desserts and teas next time!

Yelp
Overall, we had a good experience at Prince Tea House. The space is cute and has plenty of seating, and we enjoyed the food and tea. This review is mainly for people like me who rely on yelp reviews to pick one spot over another. There are multiple locations for price tea room and we intended to go to a different one but ended up here accidentally when navigating via Google maps. High tea here is $70 for 2 (at least on Fridays at 1pm, when we went) not $55 as it is at other locations. There's also not unlimited tea, which was really disappointing. Be sure you end up at the right location. Because I went in expecting unlimited tea refills and a cheaper price, I was let down, but we still had a good time. There's a hilarious robot that delivered tea to some of the tables and sang happy birthday to a couple parties that was a spectacle in and of itself.

Yelp
Always a great spot for dessert and to catchup with some girlfriends! I love their hot teas that come in a pot and I'm a bit fan of their mille crepe cakes. My party of 3 split a black tea with fruity flavors infused, with a brown sugar mille crepe cake. The crepe cake was sweet but there was a bit of saltiness that balanced it out. Overall the ambiance is nice and the interior is really cute.

Yelp
Tasty tea and cool vibe. You order on your phone via QR code. On the website, sugar is 'optional' and has an option for 100% and none for 0% (screenshot). We wanted no sugar so we thought it best to leave this option blank (there was no other way to select 0% sugar). Our tea turned out to be super sweet, and the server refused to change our tea for us. It was also $9 for a tea kettle with no free hot water refills.

Yelp
I will avoid this business that discriminated against me because I had a service dog. They refused to let me in, even though the law requires them to allow access and prohibits them from requesting documentation. What they did is illegal and does not comply with ADA rules. I have filed a claim with the U.S. Department of Justice to report them.

Yelp
Best venue for my daughter's birthday party. The staff was incredible and made her day incredibly special. Would recommend again and again. Can't say enough great things about this place. We will be coming back soon! Thank you Prince Tea house!

Yelp
Such a fun place to go for high tea! I loved the vibe of this place and it was so much fun. The tea was yummy and I liked how they let us all pick our own flavor teas. There were so many teas to pick from. However, their sandwiches were just okay. Nothing to crazy. I did leave feeling full and I felt like it was the perfect amount of food! I would go back and as a matter of fact, I want to take my mom soon! All in all, I liked the vibe of this place, but I wasn't a huge fan of the food.

Yelp
Very cute spot. You could really feel the royalty vibe with the all the interior decorations. Quite packed on a Sunday around 6pm. I got a pot of hot tea (no tea leaves included) and the purple yam mille crepe cake. The cake was light but the crepe layers did not taste fresh a little mushy. Recommend for a date spot or afternoon high tea.

Yelp
Uncle Iroh would approve. The waitress was super sweet and all the teas and drinks were yummy. Also this is the cutest place ever, and even the bathrooms are cute and clean.

Yelp
I really like that they are open late. It's lovely to find a spot for tea and sweets post- dinner. I would return to try again despite a few problems with our first visit. I hope the owners will consider a few adjustments. We ordered 2 pots of tea. That's it. A pot is $9. I was shocked that there were no leaves in my pot. They brewed it in the back, then brought just the brewed tea. This is weird. I want the tea leaves in a strainer in the pot. This gives the ability to add hot water and have another pot of tea. I have never been to a tea room that didn't provide the leaves and offer more hot water. Bathroom score: C. Which can be fixed easily please. You have 2 bathrooms each single-serve. Why label them "men" and "women"? Neither was particularly gendered inside (well, I only used the men's, which had 1 regular toilet. The only " male" thing was the previous user left the seat up) please relabel both rooms as non-gendered restrooms. This way you are inclusive of all customers' gender identities, and you don't make women wait-- which we are always doing for restrooms. Otherwise the bathroom was clean enough. I'd prefer an option for hand drying in addition to the air machine. Update: I returned. I asked for my puerh tea to be served with its leaves. They said yes. Then they brought it and said " I asked the chef and she said no". Puerh is a tea which can be brewed several times without turning bitter so I'm still not happy about this. We also got brown sugar boba layer cake and matcha tea layer cake. Both good and creamy. The molten lava cake was served about 10 minutes later. This was not great as some were ready to eat and one person had nothing. So my opinion is unchanged: the service is lacking, the restrooms need changes, but it's a good option still for late night sweets or a larger birthday gathering
