Where to Drink Tea in Philly | Eater Philly

"When you want an upscale yet reasonably priced tea experience, head to Prince Tea House in Chinatown. The chain’s Philly location offers two-hour reservations for a daily afternoon tea that blends French and Asian influences. Detailed teaware sets with a sophisticated floral aesthetic match well with a selection of beautiful blends like the popular Prince Passion Fruit Tea and Lavender Hot Milk Tea." - Esra Erol

Prince Tea House - Review - Chinatown - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"There aren’t many places in the city where you can live out your Alice in Wonderland tea party fantasies. But at Chinatown’s Prince Tea House, with its velvety pastries, metallic finger sandwich towers, buttery waffles, and china so fancy that it looks like it came from the set of The Crown, that’s exactly what you can do. Open daily at noon, they have everything from smoked salmon salad and scones to egg salad sandwiches–the $55 tea for two includes all of them, plus unlimited tea. Bring a group of friends here, pair your purple yam crêpe cake (our favorite) with teas ranging from oolong or passion fruit to lavender green milk, and dive into a spread that looks more impressive than anything that existed in Alice’s imagination." - Candis R. I've been here once before, and it was completely fine. But today was truly something. - My friend and I ordered the iced jasmine green tea thinking it would be in a tea pot, since it said that on the menu. However, the tea still came out in a mason jar instead. When we asked, and I also showed what the menu said, the waitstaff said that it just wasn't able to be served in a tea pot. Just confused why it would say the opposite on the menu then? - We also ordered the chicken katsu sandwich; the first half was fine, but when I got to the end of the second half, I noticed the pinkness in the meat. When I asked about it, I was told the sandwich was fine because it was "fried"??? I'm going to hope they meant that they used precooked chicken because what? Had me questioning if the chicken was truly too pink or not.

I made reservations for 8 people on Sunday and specifically told the worker we were doing afternoon tea. It took them over an hour to bring the food out, most of the items are pre-made so I'm not sure why it took so long. They also ran out of scones, which is a main component of afternoon tea. They let us substitute it with another dessert; I chose the milk toast. The worker continuously gave attitude towards everyone, not to mention there's a 20% gratuity added for larger parties and a $38 spend minimum. I thought that was outrageous, I would understand a $20 minimum but almost $40 for cake and tea?? The sweets were good I will admit, not too sweet which is the best. The lavender tea was exceptional as well. the 'sandwiches' were pretty lackluster. The interior is charming and elegant. If the service was better and they didn't run out of food it could've been a 5 stars but I probably won't return to this location.

Google
Very cutesy and I really enjoyed everything. I got the brûlée trio and the black sesame one was soooo good. The rolls were great, drink was yummy but the milk foam didn’t really combine with the tea so much as chunk-ify. Still tasty though.

Google
What a fantastic experience. This place it beautiful and the tea is delicious. The attention to detail is amazing! We ordered 2 separate teas: a passionfruit and lemongrass with ginger. Both were delicious in their own way. Once fruity and sweet, the other earthy and herbal. 10/10 highly recommend!

Google
10/10 I used to regularly go to this restaurant and I’m so sad that I can’t go as often anymore! The service was always amazing and the food was always great! The price is fairly cheep and it’s one of the best desert spots in Philly hands down ! If you’re thinking of coming stop thinking and go !! You will not be disappointed! Perfect for a day out , date night , hanging out with friends and taking photos!

Wandered in here on accident, but got the fruit toast and honestly wasn't expecting a lot but it was GREAT. The outer crust was a little too dry but the toast itself was great and there was a good balance of fruit and ice cream on top. It was WAY bigger than I expected, so you can split it between two people because it's pretty heavy. Definitely want to come back and try new items!

Google
Ordered the high tea for two, which included two types of tea (unlimited refills for 2 hours) and an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones, and desserts. I’m not sure if the amount of food was worth the $58 (before tax and tip), but it was still a pleasant experience given the ambience, decor and customer service. I do wish you could order 0% sugar for the teas (by default, the tea will come with 100% sweetness but you can ask for 30%, 70%, or 120%), as the sides were already sweet enough and the tea just added more sweetness😅 A good experience but I think I’ll try the individual dishes next time!

Google
I had a great experience here. Good tea and nice dessert. Beautiful atmosphere. We will come back for the high tea. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Ended up having my baby shower here. It is a gorgeous venue that I highly recommend checking out. They blocked off a little corner for us since the guest list wasn't too big. They did a good job of bringing all the teas in a timely fashion. We tried the Rose Lover tea, Matcha Green Tea, and the Prince Passion Fruit Tea. I started by really liking the rose lover tea. It was a milky tea that had a rosy taste to it. After a while; however, I felt like it was too sweet. For our main apps we had twister fries which were pretty basic. We also had the fried shrimp lollipops which were very tasty. The place offered us a collection of tea sandwiches and scones and macarons. Overall, my guests didn't leave hungry. We also ordered a mango Mille crepe cake. It was cutely decorated. They put pieces of mango on top of it. The cake was a bit too sweet for my liking, however.

Yelp
This is such a cute place! It has good lighting. The vibe is a little bit fancy but comfortable. It's a fun place to have a get together with your girlfriends or for a date night. I was here for a shower with about 10 people. We had the tea it came with several different savories. I really liked the deviled egg. The scone was yummy with butter and jelly. The sweets included a Matcha cake, a mini fruit tart, and a macaroon. The portions were a little small. We also had the curly fries and fried shrimp skewers. The shrimp was delicious. It also came with four different kinds of tea. The rose milk. Tea was good. The macho was tasty. A green tea was also good. My favorite was the mango tea. It had a good mango flavor. The cake was gorgeous. It had cute marzipan teddy bears on it. It was a mango crêpe layer cake. It had a lot of mango flavor. It was light and airy. The cake was delicious. I really enjoyed the tea and the atmosphere!

Yelp
We wanted to have a relaxing experience before heading over to the Philadelphia Flower Show, and the Prince Tea House fit the bill. Keep in mind they do not take reservations which we knew. The restaurant has a sophisticated vibe, but there are no menus. We were told to scan the code and then place our order online. At one point, we had to flag a server to make sure our order went through. The problem with ordering this way is if you have any questions as we did about the types of tea, you have to do your own research. In hindsight, I would have ordered a different tea if I had had an opportunity to ask questions. We ordered the tea for 2 and 3 for our party of five. The afternoon tea came with a 3-tiered tray full of assorted finger sandwiches, a scone for each person along with clotted cream and jam, and various mini pastries that included macaroons. Everything was delicious, and the price was reasonable. We also all opted for different types of tea. The matcha green tea was especially creamy and delicious. We had a lovely experience and were glad we opted to make this our first stop before heading to the flower show.

Yelp
Always a pleasure to have their desserts and drinks but yesterday was different. We got their Fruit toast, Rose lover's milk tea and Creme Brûlée sampler. The Fruit toast is unlike the ones I have had before, too dry and not buttery enough. They should try adding a semi liquid filling of some sort instead of just filling it with fruits making it super dry to swallow down. The Rose lover's milk tea did not have any hint of rose in it unlike the Potted rose green/black milk tea, so I would stick to the latter for next time. The Creme Brûlée sampler was really good especially the Matcha and Black Sesame flavors. The Cranberry stuck out as a sore thumb so instead there should be an Asian flavor like Ube or Pandan. Just my 2 cents!

Yelp
When you need a fancy tea time with friends, Prince Tea House is THE place to be. I came here with a group of girlfriends for our galentine's day yesterday, and it was nothing short of spectacular. I really really love that Prince Tea House offers the afternoon tea sets for 2 as well as for 3 people, as it fits perfectly well with our group of 5. We all opted for different types of tea and we loved all the selections (Lavender green milk tea, citrus jasmine tea, passionfruit tea, matcha green tea, and citrus Russian blend). When the teas came out, the porcelain tea sets were cute and dainty, which went awesomely with the faux-lux setting of the place. The three-tier snack trays that served our mini-sandwiches and scones were also oh-so adorable with the cutesy cutleries and spoons to complement with the set. The whole experience gave us a quick nostalgic throw-back to when we were kids playing tea time, albeit with a huge upgrade of us now being adults doing the real thing. As for food quality, we all loved our scones and all the snacks were delicious. I really can't recommend this place enough and I really look forward to visiting it again.

Yelp
Ordered two desserts for takeout so this review does not concern service or ambiance, strictly the food. We ordered the Purple Yam Crepe Cake and the Mille Feuille. The crepe cake was really good. Not too sweet and the purple yam flavor was prevalent. Very light and airy. The Mille Feuille was also ok, a bit disappointing. Overall, may stop by to try the savory entrees.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for an afternoon treat. We were seated upon arrival even though they were pretty busy with some party reservations. Food/Drinks: We ordered the afternoon tea tower with hot matcha tea and hot milk tea. In addition, we ordered curly fries, strawberry parfait, and an iced potted green tea. This was between the 3 of us and it was plenty of food. The scones were delicious. The savory bites were also good. I wish there was an option to have all the savory items be vegetarian. The desserts were varied and good. The curly fries were pretty standard. The teas were excellent. As the name sake, the teas were my favorite part of the experience. Service: Service was friendly and quick. Our items arrived promptly as they were ready from the kitchen. TL;DR - A great tea house with good savory and sweet options

Yelp
LOVED! LOVED! LOVED! It is so beautiful inside (I'm mad I didn't get a lot of pictures). It is so adorable inside, everyone is so nice and sweet. The young lady I was speaking to when making the reservation, Rachel, was so patient with me because I was working with a group for a bachelorette party. We ordered: ~ TEA: Jardin Tropical, Montagne Blue Black and Des Sable Green - DELICIOUS, every single tea was so good! ~ APPETIZERS: Shrimp Lollipops and Sante Fe Chicken Eggrolls - The shrimp was so good and hot (all the food came out hot), and the Eggrolls were just as delicious. ~ SALAD: Crabmeat - GREAT! And the ginger dressing that came with jr was a perfect blend. ~ SANDWICHES: Katsu Chicken and Turkey - They served us whole sandwiches to share with one another so each of us were able to try both sandwiches. ~ DESSERT: Purple Yam Cake, Molten Lava Cake and Apple Crumble - That apple crumble was soooooo good and warm, the molten lava cake was so smooth and it tasted like dark chocolate with I love, and the purple yam cake was very pretty and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a cute girls day out or little girl tea party.

Yelp
Prince tea house is great for a special or late night activity time. I love the hot pots of tea! Got the boba crepe cake and the Earl gray which was really good. Chocolate lava cake and coconut pudding were also good! I feel like the place has a bit of a run down vibe with chipped dishes, etc and food not quite as good as the first NYC location I went to
google avatar

Kenneth M.

Yelp
We got the fruit crepe cake, lavender milk tea, and jasmine milk tea. Food was great, service was great, the environment was clean and wasn't loud at all! It is located at the edge of chinatown which is less busy with a bit more parking spaces. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
AMAZING! Truly phenomenal experience here! It's located in a small beautiful part of the city, a short walk from center city! The decor is simple, chic and truly adds ambiance! The music selection during my visit was fitting and made me not want to leave. I got the Rose Milk Tea, the pot lasted my whole visit. My friend got the wings and said they were really good. She chose not to use the buffalo sauce but did enjoy her meal! It's self-service, contactless scanning the bar code and ordering. It was such an easy process and the service was still remarkable with checking in, delivery and all things.

Yelp
I understand the hype! The Tea House is visually attractive on the inside, and I kind of forgot that I was in Philadelphia lol. My parents and I ordered the purple yam crepe cake which we loved and devoured. Each layer is carefully placed on top of one another creating a tasteful experience with unique textures of the cake and the cream. We also ordered a fruity tea that wow-d me. It was fragrant, fruity, and fun. The Tea House did get a little too loud for my preference as most of the tables were full on a weekend afternoon. It's the perfect way to end a day out in Chinatown.
google avatar

Elise N.

Yelp
3 out of 4 cups were chipped. It's a small space so it was quite noisy inside. 4 of us shared 2 pots of tea - earl gray and milk tea. Teas were good tho I would have liked nondairy Creamer with mine. Daughter got the Panna cotta with strawberry ice cream and loved it. Husband got the tiramusu and said it was terrible tho my youngest liked it. He said it wasn't sweet, didn't seem to have the usual liqueur and too much cocoa powder on the top that he kept inhaling at each bite.

Yelp
Amazing! High tea vibes with yummy teas including milk teas which aren't too sweet. There are plenty of food options. They are all yummy and aesthetically pleasing. Cute little place warm and cozy and services is really really good too. You can't really go wrong coming here.

Yelp
I have a party of 4 trying out their Afternoon tea for two for $55. Each person gets to choose their own refillable pot of fruit tea or milk tea. So we ordered 2 Afternoon tea for two. We tried jasmine green tea, toffee milk tea, earl grey milk tea, and rose milk tea. Out of the 4 types, rose milk tea tastes the best in my opinion. The jasmine green tea has the lightest taste. Earl grey just tastes like regular milk tea you get at other places. Toffee milk tea is either you like it or it's ughh to you. Everything else was just ok to me. The scone was probably the best out of all the other selections. But that scone was bigger than we expected, which is why I felt full after that. It's a nice experience and a good time to chat with my other moms. I think I might prefer to come back for their dessert more than their afternoon tea. Overall, service was pretty good.

Yelp
While walking around, we came upon this place and decided to pop in late at night. There were just two other tables. We were greeted very quickly and seated at a lovely cozy table. We ordered a crêpe dessert and tea. This dessert was probably one of the best things I've ever had. It was light and creamy and delicious. Also tried a pumpkin custard, which was very unusual and quite tasty. So glad we decided to try here.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible place!! I went here to celebrate my birthday with my partner and it was the most delightful tea experience ever. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are much larger than the photos as I thought I was getting a small dessert but it was perfect to fill two people. The prince citrus tea was incredible too, definitely one of the best teas I have ever had. The interior is gorgeous and the service was fast and so kind. Would absolutely come back again!!
google avatar

Erina G.

Yelp
I went a few days ago and there was nobody in the front, had to wait before someone came to seat us. I ordered the katsu sandwich and it was so dry and tough I told the server that it was super dry and she told me everything is made from frozen bulk packages, if you're charging these prices I would expect it to be made fresh. The price for a piece of cake was also outrageous, you can get a better piece from Paris baguette a few blocks from this place!
google avatar

YangHwa P.

Yelp
I have heard about this place for a while, but was recently able to visit twice. It is such a pretty and spacious place. The decor is very cute (I guess maybe men will feel a bit out of place, but I have seen enough men with their girlfriends here). The same young lady has served us at both visits, and I have to say she is very friendly, efficient, and helpful. During the first visit we got some tea and shared crepe cake. The presentation of the tea is so nice; the teapot comes with its own votive burner so it doesn't cool down. For our second visit we decided to do a high tea menu. It is for two people, with unlimited teapot refills. It is definitely a treat, I personally enjoyed everything that came in the tea tiered stand, but I have heard some people not particularly liking some items (I guess personally preference). I would definitely visit this place again!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Nice interior and beautiful furniture! Menu is on QR code as most of places do these days, and you can also put in order right away from the menu in the app, which was nice, time saving, i think they are ahead of other places on that one. We ordered green jasmin milk tea and greentea matcha millecrepe, tea was decent with addition of 2-3 spoon of sugar and crepe was hmm.. could be more flavorful/strong flavor My friend disliked it, i liked it but needed more flavor Tea pot was on warmer keep it warm but milk tea in cup was cooling off pretty fast Cup itself was pretty but then it would be nice if the cup could be on warmer too or insulated cup to keep the tea hot longer
google avatar

Ariel H.

Yelp
I went there for my birthday and my friends and i got so many desserts and split them amongst each other to sample! Everything tastes amazing and the smoked salmon sandwich did too!! I look forward to going back sometime to try their teas. The wallpaper is pretty and the ambiance is so calming.
google avatar

Pauline P.

Yelp
Pros - easy order system (via phone) - interior is cute but could be cleaned up a bit - offer afternoon tea with the tiered desserts and savory goodies - love their selection of teas (offer iced or hot) - service is relatively quick, server checked in on us often Cons - don't come here near closing hour. We came and the food was terrible. It was as if they just threw their leftovers together. The dessert was a joke! - like all of Chinatown, street or garage parking only - a little overpriced ($6 for small plate of fries), but I guess you're also paying for the ambiance
google avatar

Kiet G.

Yelp
This is a really cute spot. Vibrant lighting but closer to harsh than soft lighting. Everything was super clean and nice. The matcha latte was very creamy and heavy. It was really good with plenty of matcha! Not pictured my friends got lavender milk tea which came on its own personal burner and another aromatic milk tea. All were perfect sweetness and full of the herbal aromatics these teas offer. The staff is great, quite patient and courteous! Their wall decorations are unique but tasteful
google avatar

Emma K.

Yelp
Had a lovely time here for afternoon tea. Affordable tea for two, large selection of tea, yummy savory bites and scones. The staff are friendly. It's a bit loud inside, but everything else is great! They provide tea candles to keep your tea warm. Also the bathrooms are really nice and clean.
google avatar

Warren G.

Yelp
We had afternoon tea here, and it was almost perfect. The four sandwiches were all tasty, the desserts were good, especially the match crepe cake, and the server remembered to remove the nuts for one of my desserts. The server was busy but still managed to give good service. The restaurant itself is comfortable, relatively quiet, and well designed. I have three small knocks - the scones were overdone, (mine was a little dry, but my partner's scone was slightly burnt and too crunchy) the tea selection for the afternoon tea was limited and did not allow for substitutions, and I miss having a tea menu with a little more information about the available teas. I don't think these things ruined the experience, but they are issues to be noted. Overall, I recommend this place to anybody looking for an afternoon tea experience.
google avatar

Jackie L. W.

Yelp
I love the prince tea house chain. However, I think it is wrong to mislead people to check in for a free fruit tea on the flyer when in fact, the girl told me I needed to also leave a review for a fruit tea. If you offer something, honor it.
google avatar

Eva B.

Yelp
Prince Tea House is super cute and the perfect way to spend an afternoon! Their tea selection is great and they had some great treats to go with it! This tower of treats was perfect for two (and we were able to request it to be meat free), and you each get your own pot of tea! The staff was really helpful, and was great at recommending teas they thought we would enjoy!
google avatar

Bansri P.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! They have the best desserts in all of Philly - hands down! The brown sugar boba crepe cake is unreal and a MUST if you come here, it honestly melts in your mouth! Love that it is only mildly sweet, and not over sweet. Huge fan of their Darjeeling black tea. They also have a nice rose milk tea. The decor is adorable and the service is great. You order on your phone and they will bring your order out to your table. Will keep on coming back for more!
google avatar

Eli T.

Yelp
This was a fun place for light dinner and dessert on my visit to Philly. Ordered salad with smoked salmon, a tofu cheesecake, and a matcha latte. It was an experience! 1) You order on your phones - each table has an icon you scan to take you to the ordering page. From there, you choose what you want and friendly waitress came over to confirm order of the order. 2) salad with smoked salmon - delicious dressing, not too salty or sweet, mixed greens, cheery tomatoes and cucumbers. It was nourishing and good size to also enjoy dessert next. 3) matcha latte - I ordered mine with a hint of sweetness (about 25%) and it came in this beautiful pot with a warmer under it to stay hot. 4) tofu cheesecake - wow! Silky, not too sweet, creamy and fatty, and with delicious strawberry sauce on the side. I loved it!
google avatar

Tammy C.

Yelp
Such a cute place to enjoy a peaceful cup of tea and desserts. I came with a friend and had the grand jasmine chung feng tea and the cheesecake. The cheesecake was good and wasn't too sweet. The tea was good too. I added sugar and a bit of milk to my jasmine tea and it's delicious. One pot of tea can serve about 4-5 cups to share with a friend. The aesthetic in here is super cute and you feel like you're in a tea parlor with your tea cups. Service is also really great! Would come again!
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
Such a cute tea house. I love that they offer apps and other dishes alongside the afternoon tea menu. The price is incredible. It's nearly impossible to find afternoon tea for under $100/pp. the tea for 2 is only $55!!! Definitely worth a visit...
google avatar

Allen L.

Yelp
We were in a long wait for LaoJie so we popped in here to stay warm over a pot of tea. It was nice place to lounge around and talk. In the surrounding tables around us, we saw some people on dates and catching up over tea and dessert. You scan a QR code to order and then they'll bring everything out to your table. Didn't try the dessert this time but next time I will.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Came here after brunch and will definitely come back. They have afternoon tea where you can get an assortment of sweet and savory with unlimited tea of one flavor. I went for the individual sweets since we had already eaten. You can order right off the QR code and they just give you a check at the end. It's super cute and intimate especially for a cold winter day.
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
This is my first time trying their afternoon tea set. 2 people for $55 for 2 hours with unlimited refill of tea. Each person gets to choose their own flavor pot of tea. There is a list of regular brew tea or milk tea to choose from. I had their desserts and various appetizer from them before and it didn't disappoint but the food from the tea set was not the same quality in my opinion. The overall price was decent for an afternoon tea. If you like milk teas I would recommend to try. Rose milk tea had the strongest milk tea flavor Jasmine milk tea is for people who enjoy light flavors. It tasted a little more milky than tea to me. The English toffee milk tea smell pretty good. It smell better than it taste tho. Earl Grey milk tea was okay.
google avatar

Deirdre C.

Yelp
I was invited to a private party for a dear friends birthday at this tea house at the end of April. I had heard of this tea house but had never been there or any of their locations. It was pouring rain the day of the party but that didn't stop us from showing up and enjoying the event! My friend rented out the entire place for two hours! It was so nice! The food and tea were wonderful! She also decorated the tables and had a photographer and live music which was so nice! Even though what I experienced wasn't "the norm" I do know that I enjoyed the food and tea. I would go back.

Ang G.

Yelp
Goooooorggeousss. Ambiance is so bright and beautiful. Menu items were amazing. It is pricey, but it's just decadent and delicate! I originally just came for the tea, so we got a cappuccino and the potted bubble tea! Service was great as well!
google avatar

Kristine S.

Yelp
Ahhhhh.... Such a relaxing and truly great place. Nothing better than afternoon tea. Tea served in pretty China cups. We got a pot of herbal fruity tea which was out of this world. I would highly recommend. Next time we will come for true high tea with tea sandwiches and pastries. But such a lovely place. Only thing that would have been better was if they sold their loose tea.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
The only bad thing I have to say about this place is that I did not know there was a minimum spending for a group of people. We also felt rushed during our time. Otherwise- food and vibes were great! Their teacup and teapot set are cute and the food was delicious! If you're unsure about the milk teas, DO IT! They do not disappoint. The Matcha milk tea was not too sweet and did not have an overpowering matcha flavor. If you get the tea for two people, you get a cute pastry/sandwich tower with two types of teas and unlimited refill for two hours. What a deal!! Recommend coming here for a cute date with your partner or friends!
google avatar

Ying Z.

Yelp
Super cute place and lovely decor and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The food and drinks were also delicious. You can also book a tea party here too!
google avatar

Vie L.

Yelp
Cute cafe with a cozy vibe. The interior is beautiful and aesthetic, making it a perfect place to hang out with your family, friends, or maybe with your lover. It's a place where you can sit, get an Instagrammable picture, and enjoy delicious snacks, desserts, and drinks.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Cute interior. I've been a handful of times. Ordering via QR code was super easy and convenient. Staff were floating around and easy to flag down for any questions we may have. Service was quick. The food and tea itself is overall good, but nothing to really gush over.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
We only tried the Purple Yam Soufflé. It's interesting to see these flavors. It's not the flaky soufflé, but more like a very hot muffin like texture Soufflé. You scan QR code to order. Servers are friendly. It's clean and cozy, reminds me of a princess having dessert. Would like to try something else on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
I love afternoon tea and this is the perfect place to be with good food and vibes! The ordering platform is also very convenient.

Yelp
After a day of running errands on a Friday, we were ready for a little treat. Although we're still working on our summer bodies I've influenced us otherwise ;) Prince Tea House is a great traditional tea experience. Upon arrival I found that there were a few couples seated together that I presume to be on dates. So I guess this could be a good first date location and getting to know you spot. The location was decorated traditionally and mildly formal. The overall experience is different than the usual and fun. Therefore my rating is on the combination of the experience and desserts/drinks. The menu is vast with drinks and desserts. You can always add boba to any drink which I did for our mango and passion fruit slush orders. It was nice but I had better passion fruit slushes. The mango had little chunks of mango in it. The cheesecake which I had a small taste of, was okay but wasn't a fan of, but I can see how others enjoy it. My goal of this place was to try the brown sugar crepe with boba. It was not overly sweet so I feel a little less guilty about enjoying it! Looking forward to check out their other food/drink options in the future. Cool spot!

Yelp
Tea house in Chinatown, Philadelphia with a Fusion of both Asian and British flare. The afternoon tea consists of bite sized snacks both savory and sweet for $55. My favorites were the deviled eggs and the green tea milk crepe cake. Knocked off one star because there was no option to get the 'afternoon tea' for one. I had to proceed to get double of everything even though I was a solo diner. They allow takeout, so I'll enjoy the leftovers later. Other than that, it was a good experience. Although in Chinatown, I didn't have a hard time finding nearby street parking. ProTip; they take reservations by phone

Yelp
Wonderful tea house with excellent teas, relaxing atmosphere, and no reservations needed! My sister and I took my mom here for Mother's Day and we enjoyed 2 hours sipping tea and noshing on some pastries. The milk-based Rose tea with 50% sweetness hit the spot! I really like the feature of controlling the sweetness and sugar levels of the tea. The tea pots are a generous serving and seem bottomless, you can easily get 4-5 cups. While my mother enjoyed the Darjeeling tea. The Mango Mille Crêpe was tasty with layers with light creamy mango mousse. The scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake Parfait with soft moist spongy cake sandwiched between whipped cream and topped with strawberries was delicious and my pick of the 2 desserts! Both desserts paired well the tea and would love to try the Green Matcha mille cake - next time! While the Afternoon Assortment with a tower of pastries and finger sandwiches and bottomless tea looked alluring, it was a bit of a bummer that there weren't more vegetarian sandwiches (I believe the restaurant only had cucumber sandwiches). It proved to be cheaper to get desserts a la carte. I would definitely come back to try it - next time! Great tea house and excited to come back for the afternoon assortment!

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday afternoon tea time with my friend. We ordered tea and I ordered a bubble tea crepe cake. It was easy to order with a QR code. For $8.50 you get pot of tea with about 3-4 cups of tea. I could see you sharing a tea pot but I don't think they allow you to split it. When you order, you can customize your sugar level. I ordered 50% sugar which I think is a little too sweet, I would do 30% next time. The bubble tea crepe cake was okay but nothing out of this world. I had to pour the cream and the bubbles to top. I probably wouldn't order it again. I really like the atmosphere and think this is the perfect place in Philly just to hang out and catch up with a friend. I will definitely be back!
