I’ve been craving tiramisu for ages, and this place did not disappoint! Their tiramisu is absolutely amazing. I also tried the seasonal chocolate hazelnut swirl cake, and it was really delicious too! The atmosphere here is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

Interesting place. Used to have more Princis in Seattle. The prices are very steep for the quality. The hazelnut croissant was stale, before I used to buy it was nice flaky and fresh. Also smaller in size. But fun place overall with espresso martinis and cool to hang out with fresh roastery.

Food and drinks were great 👍. The service was very bad, though. We waited for more than an hour to get our coffee. The guys at the bar were serving other people who came after us, and they let most of our drinks cold. When we asked for our drinks, they snubbed us. We were so mad at the expense, but didn't want to create drama in the middle of a lot of people.

Very nice atmosphere at this location which is nestled inside of the 'Starbucks Reserve Roastery' building, solid bakery goods are offered here at semi-reasonable prices, and the place has an upper class environment and decor. Staff can be very busy sometimes as the place is often very crowded with tourists and commutera alike, as this is a Flagship starbucks location with a little bakery/cafe nestled inside. Prices are semi-reasonable although not the best for consistent visits. Altogether I would say this is a place to stop to treat yourself, but not an everyday place. Coffee is available through starbucks at the other side of their shared building.

Amazing new addition to Westlake. Awesome breads and amazing pastries both sweet and savory. To wash it all down you are only served Starbucks Premium THE RESERVE. Nice seating area both inside and outside and a very cozy and relaxing environment. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Say Hi to Kasandra who was super helpful and provided a very pleasant dining and shopping experience....will definitely be back for their sourdough bread, awesome croissants and to try their fungi pizza block.

Beautiful cafe slash bar slash Italian eatery, as part of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery site. Freshly made toasts, pizzas, pastries, and of course drinks, including the usual coffees and teas, but also coffee or tea-based cocktails. Sat at the bar, to add to the experience. Had the avocado toast with salmon, a hazelnut chocolate croissant, and a matcha latte. Note, cash tipping only as you can’t add the tip via card.

A really nice one time experience. It was a lovely atmosphere with friends. A bit pricey for my liking to do it as a regular thing. serving proportions varied. The drinks weren't consistent for me and my friends. But the alcoholic drinks were spectacular.

I love coming to Princi everything I've ever gotten has been amazing high quality pastries. So let's get to the food COFFEE MARITOZZO: you truly taste the coffee on this beautiful cream filled delight. Amazing managed to eat this without losing all the cream on the first bite. I would probably suggest you share this I only managed half but thoroughly enjoyed this Chocolate hazelnut cornetto: this croissant shaped yumminess is filled with a multitude of fillings, I chose the Nutella esq one, I wish it was filled more, kinda disappointed that nearly half was empty. Regardless the flavor is spot on Olive Oil Cake: solid choice but nothing special, if you are a fan of a good olive oil cake this is a good one but we're really spoilt for nowadays and have had better (check out my other reviews to know which ones ) Funghi Pizza: I just love grabbing one of these to nosh on, savory umami decadence. Grab it you'll love it to Service was fast if a bit aloof but you can't blame them as it was packed and a Saturday There's a great feel for the place but when it's packed it's noisy, crowded and you may not get a table but the turnover is fairly fast so just bear that in mind Funghi Pizza: I love grabbing one of these to nosh on, savory umami goodness. Trust me and grab one of these

Pizza was reheated instead of cooked fresh. It was very tasty still. Pastries were amazing. They forgot vanilla in our matcha. And my drink was sweeter than I prefer. Overall I wouldn't come here for the food or drinks. The experience is more about the incredible building its located inside. The grand coffee bean roaster and copper pipes running through the entire building. The architecture is stunning. The whole building uses wood to create a warm atmosphere.

We made our way to check out the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and it's no secret I am not a fan of Starbucks. I'm always very clear about this. I drink them in a pinch when they are my absolute only option but I never actively seek them out under any circumstance, except on this occasion. We entered and immediately saw a lot of merch, hard no for me. I then spotted a couple of different areas, Princi being one of them and was immediately drawn in this direction. Everything looked very yummy but then my eye caught the Bar and well... a coffee and a cocktail aren't often in a close running for me, coffee typically wins but I'd already peeped a bunch of pics online from this spot and I knew in advance my first ev Espresso Martini would be had here. Once said Espresso Martini was in hand and it's video and pictures had been taken - along with several sips I couldn't resist catching glances of Princi. I'd spotted two items earlier that were now really calling my name and asking to be paired with my martini. My friend went to order the fungi pizza and a slice of tiramisu. We waited a little bit for our order to be put together and once it was, both were yummy coffee shop snacks. I'd probably order any pizza here, they all look very good and the tiramisu was absolutely perfect. The entire vibe at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery is exciting, the place is bustling, people are eager to explore, order, relax and take it all in. I really enjoyed it, and that's a lot coming from a non Starbucks lover.

Mmmm. Square pizza with salami and a buttery crust, oily enough to stain the bag! Not sure why people are saying this has a bar. Even though you can have one foot in the bar and one foot in the pizza place and one hand in Starbucks Reserve like a tourist at Four Corners, each is a separate thing with a separate Yelp listing. Considering that Princi is part of the truly unique Starbucks Reserve, the atmosphere is can be touristy on a busy day, but very adult, modern, mellow and clean on another day, worthy of a questionable first date, job interview, place to write your collection of bad essays, etc.

Love love love their pizzas here! I've been here a few times now over the past couple years and I always forget how good their pizzas are! (I have yet to try any of their other food because I'm always so drawn to the pizza!) My partner and I came here last weekend for to pick up food for a late brunch. He wanted to try the funghi and I got the combo looking one called stagioni. The combo one I got literally has everything! Prosciutto, olives, mushrooms, artichokes and mozzarella. It's soo delicious and we actually felt pretty healthy eating it! The mushroom one was just as good! Looking at it, it may look a little more plain but it was still very flavorful! If you order a slice, definitely try to get a corner or edge with crust! I loved the crust! So crunchy and delicious. Will be back soon and hopefully try their other food options!

To be clear.. this is the cocktail bar/cafe inside of the Capitol Hill Starbucks Reserve Roastery. This was a recent discovery, and I've already been back twice! They have a great selection of coffee cocktails, without being too coffee forward. I love the Reserve boulevardier, the whiskey cloud, and the final say. On the food side of things, I've only tried the square cut pizza slices, and they are phenomenal. The Mushroom pizza is a no brainer, so good! This is a much invited departure from what used to be in this space (it was serious pie at some point in the past) and I urge you to stop in for a drink and a bite. Cheers!

Decided to eat here for lunch over the past weekend after visiting the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and was initially excited since the food looked fantastic, but looks fooled me. I ordered a slice of the Margherita Pizza and was very displeased with the presentation and how it tasted. The slice of pizza was packed into a bag and the oil from the cheese got over the bag. The pizza itself tasted like the pizza you would get at a cheap buffet like Souplantation or something that a school would serve for lunch. There was absolutely no flavor in the sauce or the cheese. The only thing that was good about the pizza was the airy and crisp crust. Since this restaurant is shared with Starbucks, finding a spot to sit is also a huge hassle. I ended up having to wait about 10-15 minutes before I could get a table for my group. Honestly do yourself a favor and just dine somewhere else in the nearby area. You won't have the hassle of finding a spot to sit or waste your money on subpar food. There's plenty of better options to dine at elsewhere!

Good pizza and friendly service? Count me in Jack. Who is Jack you say? I too have no clue. We got three different slices (variety is the spice of life, something my English teacher used to always say): the eggplant and bell pepper one (sorry don't remember the name), the one with lox and arugula (yet again), and the one with white sauce and mushrooms (surprise)! Each had a very clean taste and used fresh ingredients. I particularly liked the one with mushrooms because the cheesy white sauce was amazing. On a side note, the ginger ale sparkling water was to die for...yum...looked like I was drinking beer on the street as I carried the glass bottle (just thought you might want to know). Almost forgot-got thee Caprese salad as well (refreshing and delicious with balsamic vinegar). The mozzarella chunks were big!

One of my favorite Seattle spots! I first went to Princi in Seattle and loved it already. Then I went to Princi in Milan (several times) and love it even more! The Starbucks Roastery in Cap Hill and the one in Milan are so similar, it makes me heart melt with Italian nostalgia Princi has such wonderful pastries that are in the authentic Italian style and I'm a HUGE fan of their Eggs in Purgatory! The cakes are too sweet for me but there are plenty other sweets there that aren't overly dolce for me. This place is on my regular rotation!

Princi never disappoints, amazing pizza al taglio, focaccia, croissants, cannoli, etc. everything is so good. Unfortunately the westlake location is permanently closed, so this one at the Starbucks Roastery is the one to go to. It's usually pretty crowded, and even though the lines go pretty quickly, it's quite annoying to have so many people around and so little seating space. Anyway, whatever, the food is amazing, same quality as the one in Milano, my hometown. Today I got the salame piccante pizza (think fancy pepperoni), the salame Milano and mozzarella focaccia, and a princina (chocolate ganache tart). Everything was awesome. Other things I occasionally get are lasagne, pizza caprese, cornetto nocciola, cannoli, tiramisù. They told me today that they discontinued the cremosa al pistacchio, which is a shame, it was fantastic. Anyway, highly recommended! Btw, I usually avoid coffee, my previous experience was not good, it was standard super bitter Starbucks quality espresso. Not sure if these days it's different, I'm too scared to try.

Man was I disappointed. We drove a hour to check this out and dine in was closed..yet other locations its open??? Why is that? We would have left and went to another location but we already paid for parking. The mushroom flatbread we ordered was not really warm and the eggs in purgatory looked nothing like the photos displayed. We got 2 tiny pieces of bread that were incredibly hard. I'm just upset that we didnt have the same experience as other people. I had to use the restroom since we drove a hour and after buying 30 dollars worth of food they have them closed. So youre taking peoples money yet you cant allow at least paying customers to use it. When we asked a employee where the nearest restroom was he seemed so bother that we interrupted his shirt folding near one of the tables. Definitely wont return. Such a waste of gas. The food made both my husband and I sick too when we got home..

I rarely get coffee from Starbucks but .....I came by the Starbucks Reserve & Roastery the other day to check out the new Italian bakery inside called Princi. It was very crowded, kinda of a cluster. It's where Serious Pie used to be, so it's to the right when you walk in. As mentioned, it's a bit of a cluster as you approach, but there is no line, just go up to the counter and someone will help you (waiving your arms up in the air with cash in your hand will help). We came to visit here in the afternoon so they had a lot of lunch selections available from salads, pizzas, desserts etc. We opted to get a slice of pizza (square) and got the ?????........ Speck & Scarmoza? Kind of like prosciutto with potato pizza. Crust is like a focaccia bread, it was real tasty, just cheesy enough, delicious toppings and a pretty darn good slice of square pizza. They will cut it up in 6 little squares for you to enjoy a bite size or share amongst your loved ones. We also got a chocolate chip cookie for later, that was pretty good too. Helpful tip, when you order from whomever helps you, that same staff member will ring you up and bring out your food to you. Just go have a seat or find an empty spot somewhere, THEY WILL FIND YOU! Not sure how the staff remembers your face with all the people, but they do. Nice little touch. Prices are on the higher side, I think my pizza slice and cookie was like $13, so check between the cushions in the couch for some extra coins when stopping by. Overall, it was pretty good & tasty, very crowded on a weekend, they do walk around giving free samples of breads etc, staff was friendly & helpful as well. Glad I stopped by, good place to check out when in the area. Not sure if this will be my go-to place to get bread but at least I know a place for some tasty breads. Cool hats!

Took a day off (11/9/17) and The College Friend reminded me that Princi at Starbucks Reserve Roastery just opened two days ago. Still full from dim sum and bought more tasty items from PFI, off we go to Capitol Hill from the ID and SoDo. OMG what a feast for this former pastry chef's eyes!!! Bought three kinds of pastries and one savory pizza slice which I will plate, taste, and post later. Even ran into my classmate, Mamnoon exec chef, and Top Chef alum, Carrie Mashaney. I've had three days to ponder Princi (continued this post on 11/12/17)...this appears a better joint venture for Starbucks Reserve Roastery than the former Serious Pie from my initial visit way back in 2014. Hmmm, I'll have to make sure to try that another time. Because I like to dote on my son with the bottomless teenager stomach, I got items to go for The Homie. There was the slice of Speck, Scamorza smoky cheese, and Potatoes ($8.50) which was devoured when I got home. Later that evening we sampled the three dessert items I also brought home. We polished off the Bignolata Crema ($4.75) - like a pate a choux/cream puff/éclair. However, we took no more than two forkfuls of the Tortino Cioccolati slice ($4.75) - the richest, moist brownie and the Torta Princi slice ($11) - this was the densest, chocolate to the tenth power decadence. Easily this could be cut into thirds and definitely shared. The latter two desserts still remain in the fridge, yes it is that rich! A little goes a long way! Princi has freshly made on the premises lunch type items, assorted focaccia/pizza slices, artisan breads, tarts, pastries, and decadent desserts...really it is a dazzling assortment of Italian specialties that are served up by personable staff. They have the sincere demeanor of standing behind a quality product line and weren't frazzled by the masses queued up at the large wrap around counter. Welcome to Seattle!

The pizza here looked amazing. I had the sourdough and it was a good light texture with a decent amount of sour to it. This bakery is actually the gem of the Starbucks Roastery, if there is any reason to come to this tourist trap you should get something from Princi.

I came here twice, once just to have some dessert along with coffee, and a second time to eat a quick breakfast. The last time I was here, this space was occupied by Serious Pie, so I'm getting a feeling that this is a hard to please space. = L O C A T I O N = It's located right inside the Starbucks Reserve Roastery, so they have a steady stream of tourists to serve. Just like the Roastery, it's sleek and modern. There is a tempting display of breads, pastries, and flatbreads, depending on the time you show up. Seating can be hard to come by, because of the large amount of people who stream in and out of the Roastery. = F O O D = For cakes, I got to try their CHEESECAKE and TIRAMISU. I thought they were both delicious, until later when I looked at the prices. Thank god I didn't have to pay for those cakes, because they were $9-$10 a slice! Jeez, it's not like they were something special or unique. + EGGS WITH PORCINI ($9.75): This was part of their breakfast, and definitely more worth the price. It was two eggs in porcini sauce, which is basically tomato sauce with a bunch of mushrooms, served with a side of crostini. Though filling and satisfyingly savory, it was also quite salty. = S E R V I C E = Everyone working there was very friendly, but during breakfast, my eggs took forever to come out. They apologized many times for the wait, though. Really, don't feel obligated to eat here if you're visiting the Roastery. Do I love Princi or do I hate Princi? Ugh while working a few hours at the Starbucks Roastery, I haaaad to try a chocolate croissant from the Princi side. It has lit a flame of chocolate croissant passion inside my soul. I am HOOKED and I keep trying to get one that's just as good, to no avail. There are sandwiches and other pastries - all are very good. Believe me when I say I tried more than just the croissant. But what I KEEP returning for, is just the croissant. Everything they make is very fresh and yummy and quality. But I neeeeeeeeed the chocolate croissants. Better than Paris no joke. And beyond the chocolate croissants, I also tried a prosciutto croissant sandwich with arugula and shaved parmesan. I'm telling you, you could smack a shoe inside of this croissant and eat it with pleasure. SO. FLIPPING. GOOD!

Super welcoming and friendly staff. Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions, because they know their stuff. We ordered a couple slices of pizzas and a pastry for dessert. The pizza is super light! You don't get that heavy or bloating feeling afterwards. The raspberry tart of sorts was also very easy. Not too sweet, just right.

I don't drink Starbucks, so this was actually my first time visiting the Roastery, just to eat at Princi. When you walk in, the place is pretty packed, so it took us a minute to figure out where Princi was until we saw a huge sign on the right of the entrance and the beautiful European ovens! And of course, there was a mob of people in front of the display cases, but once we got a closer look, everything did look yummy. My friends and I decided to get different kinds of pizza, so we could share. Someone got the Margherita, which had a dollop of the buffalo mozzarella cheese with olive oil on a chilled basil, tomato sauce. My other friend ordered the Speck and Scamorza, with slices of potato on it, and I ordered the Soppressata Pizza, which had a combination of meats with artichoke hearts and olives on mozzarella cheese. All of the pizzas were on focaccia bread, which I thought was the best part of the pizzas because the bread was perfectly baked, but can't say I was overly impressed with any of the pizzas. Though the pizzas were meant to have their own distinct flavors, they all just tasted bland to me. It's nice that they aren't greasy or oily - even with the amount of olive oil you taste from the pizzas, but the flavors of the pizza didn't scream out to me. Although we each had different kinds of pizzas, they all eventually tasted the same. They're each about nine bucks, too, and though it's a solid size for one and doable for sharing, I just don't imagine getting a pizza from here again. Other than the pizzas, they had other food items such as focaccia sandwiches, salads, sweet and savory pastries and desserts. (The tiramisu looked amazing!) Staff was very friendly, even with how crazy busy it was, and fresh pizzas were constantly being made during our visit. There is a seating area by Princi, but the place in general is always so busy - so be prepared to grab a bar table to stand over, which is what we did. Overall, it's a nice concept in such a popular spot, and would like to try the other food items.

I was recently in Seattle the week of 12/4/17 and made a stop inside the Starbucks Seattle Roastery, which is where the new Princi Bakery is! I will say, if you've never been to the Roastery OR the new Princi Commessa, it is NOT Starbucks. The look, the feel, the branding is different. For one, everything at Princi is freshly made in house. The breads are baked right there and you can see the ovens in use as you walk in. You can also watch the food prep happening right in front of you! Secondly, they serve cocktails. Some of them sound unusual because some contain coffee but they also have non-coffee adult beverages that have delicious flavor profiles that compliment the food offerings. I heard they have over 100 menu items BUT the downside is that there is no menu to be seen. I understand the idea is to allow you to ask the bakers and staff and they are super friendly and more than happy to describe anything that is displayed. I loved that I could ask them a million questions and they didn't seem impatient. The array of foods on display was dazzling- everything from housemade desserts, salads, and pizzas and small plates. I went after work with some colleagues and this is a GREAT after work spot. A must visit if you are ever in Seattle. The decor is very modern + industrial. It may feel a bit hipster but again, the staff is very friendly and don't make you feel alienated. So on to my order! Among the many things they offer, they offer freshly baked pizzas on focaccia bread with a house made pomodoro sauce!! The pizza ingredients tasted so fresh and I learned that they are baked on site. I got two - they weren't tiny, don't judge me! It was worth it! The bread was really perfect, not hard, not overly soft - it was light as air and soft but with some firmness to hold the toppings well. I think that's why I got two pizzas because they were so light - hee hee :-) The pizza I tried was a vegetarian pizza with roasted peppers and onions, it was delicious- ate the entire thing! The 2nd was a pizza with ham and peppers and it seasoned to perfection! NOM- again ate it up! Also, the way the pizza toppings are laid out on the pizza, sounds funny to say but it looks like a work of art. The food is very beautiful to look at AND delicious. The also offer aperitivos - small plates but I had my pizza and was too full. :-( next time!! As I mentioned earlier, they serve cocktails here and I got 2. One virgin, one with alcohol. I did not get the espresso cocktails,because it was late at night like 9 and I was on a business trip. I felt like an espresso (even with alcohol) was not what I needed if I wanted a restful sleep! :-) Unfortunately because they don't have a menu, I don't remember the name of the cocktail I got. I think it was called the sweetheart, it was pretty um... alcohol forward (to me) and it was a light, crisp, slightly fruity. I'll say that they didn't skimp on the alcohol and you could taste it. Keep in mind, I'm not much of a drinker so your experience may be different. But even still, it was good and well made. I'll get the name of both drinks and edit this with a description of the virgin cocktail but it was good :-) Great location in the heart of Seattle and super delicous food!!! the atmosphere was great for hanging out with friends after work. I will go back when I'm in Seattle and this time I want to try the desserts!!

I used to LOVE but now they reduced the variety of offerings and flavors were good not great..i expect them, given the pedigree of Italian heritage, to be great. The service was meh. A bunch of kids pretty clueless about how to serve. Disappointing overall....

Given how much they charged for the tiramisu I was almost expecting something euphoric but it was pretty underwhelming.

Really wanted to try this place since Seattle was picked to have the first Princi in the US. what is unique is that the ingredients like mozzerrella, herbs, flour etc are from Italy! I highly recommend the tiramisu. its not too sweet, light and has a real cacao powder sprinkled on top.

When I heard of the new restaurant in the Starbucks reserve roastery is serving pizza on focaccia, I knew I had to try it out. One of my favorite lunch places was pizzeria gabbiano, so sad it closed down so super excited that another place that serves it in this style. The restaurant was very stylish as expected for a place in this location, though there is not alot of tables. Though the restaurant serves alot more than just pizza but that's the only thing I ordered, but I will come back for the sandwich and bake goods as they look great. The two pizza I got is a simple buffalo mozzarella topped one and one with speck and potato pizza. Both were great though I would have enjoyed the mozzarella one to be warmer. It cost 18 dollars for the two so it a little pricey but I think it worth it.

Princi is a coffee lovers delight. I work closeby and hence a regular at this place and it has never failed to amaze me with its exquisite selection of coffee's and wines. Its a starbucks collaboration but seems like a distant rich cousin at the same time. The food choices are really good with the small size pizza slices along with their desserts to die for. My favorite is the cream puff but you can choose as per your choice like cheeecakes or the chocolate ganache. The variety of the pizza spreads are really good for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. They also have an happy hour on weekdays from 5-7 where you can get a drink and snacks for 5$. Last but not the least by any stretch, their fresh baked breads are too good to resist. The staff is courteous and provides their recommendations as well. You can enjoy a great evening with friends outside sitting around the fire pit with a glass of wine and long talks.

A+ for a great look. Lining up was confusing. No advice from the servers although she did pay good attention and got to people in order. Only one person taking orders and one prepping the heated items- they did confuse to go and stay here for a family in front of me. On the plus side- they quickly adapted. (OK- Seattle rant: can't you just say "Oops, sorry about that, it'll be a minute" or "Sorry about that. I'll fix that right away" rather than just stare at her and turn around to fix it. This is not a Princi comment. It's a Seattle comment.) Girella was awesome but did not get the pistachio flavor. Brioche pretty good and Italian style but apricot jam was a delicate wash in a center bubble. Tasty but underperformed. Hope they smooth it out- they are new. I'll revise after the next visit.

Princi is a good fit for the Roastery. I can imagine Starbucks HQ on 1st Ave wouldn't be as glamorous to tour if they chose to offer them (love that 12th Man flag though!) and I don't see tourists flocking to SODO if they chose the HQ location for this bakery. Tourists will get to venture out to Cap Hill and try an international café. Starbucks did a good job of marketing. I'm impressed with set up of Princi with its aesthetically pleasing displays and placement of items. I also enjoyed the earth tones and wood architecture. I hate to say it though; I didn't enjoy the food. I think it's because I've been to, and love, Marcrina, Bakery Nouveau, and Grand Central Bakery for pastries, George's (on First Hill) for sandwiches, and DeLaurenti's (@ the Market) for pizza. Princi has tough competition with local flavor. During lunch my two co-workers and I took an Uber up on opening day. It was like Black Friday where there was a bunch of people in rows and the first row of people were pressed up against the glass trying to get service. No designated line. Chaos...expected I guess. One of my co-workers ordered first. She got her food last. Last time I had a Caprese Salad was at Trattoria Reggiano in Las Vegas so I wanted to try their Caprese sandwich. I also ordered a Margherita pizza. Two different employees helped me. One of them gave away my pizza to another customer. I had to wait again for them to heat up a new slice. My pizza had a sad presentation. Not Instagram worthy and it didn't taste very good. The Caprese sandwich had a nice presentation. It didn't have any flavor though. My colleagues laughed at it because I opened it up to show them what was in it and they were like, "Where's the olive oil?" I was confused because I thought Caprese came with basil but instead there was arugula. I tossed my unfinished pizza and sandwich in the garbage. $8 for a sandwich and $8 for a slice of pizza. They state, "High End Bakery." High End Bakery = High End Prices. I feel students from UW and SCCC are more likely to get their coffee and pastries from their local café or their corner SBUX because I didn't see any of them studying at the Roastery. However, I did see a lot of people in their 50's and 60's though. All in all, this seems like a place for retirees and tourists wanting to grab a quick bite after scoping out the Roastery if they're too tired and hungry to venture out on Cap Hill. I am not a tourist nor am I a retiree and I didn't like the food so I won't be returning.

After much hype, made it out to Princi this weekend - the first outlet in the US! It didn't disappoint. We had 3 types of pizzas. My favorite was a simple tomato pizza with creamy burrata. The tiramisu was one of the best in the area. Perfectly light. It is probably the best way to get morning caffeine. :)

Beautiful, seemingly commercial, bakery inside the Starbucks reserve roastery. I stopped by to get some bread after I ran out at around 8pm. Not very much traffic. The staff was really friendly and walked me through the different breads and which ones would taste best with my normal breakfast of toast and eggs. They obviously care a lot about their craft as it took quite a while to get my loaf cut up - my guy then wrapped it up in paper and tied it with string! Little did he know I was bringing it a short walk over and would be ripping it apart in minutes. But you know, it's all about the craft. And, if you hang around the roastery long enough, you'll get to sample some tasty treats from the bakery! Fun place to hang out and visit, but filled with tourists (you've been warned).

All chocolate based desserts are amazing. Hands down. Bread and pizzas are also really really good for Seattle standard. However, my $11 piece of lemon cake is AWFUL. I asked the little to none service staff why it costs so much, he just said that it's the different ingredient. I expected my $11 slice of cake to be moist and lemony and sends me to heaven. But it was dry, crumbly, and not much lemon flavor. So, the worst and most expensive piece of cake. There you have it.

Blah and way over priced. We purchased several items including breads and pastries. The goods were fair to poor. For example, a chocolate cookie that had very little flavor for over $4. Seattle has some great bakeries with good quality and value like Macrina, Colombia City, and many more.

I have been here a few times and each time the place is very vibrant! It is inside a large Starbucks in the heart of Capitol Hill. The Princi food is really good. The pizzas are fresh and flavorful, the desserts one cannot resist! We choose three slices of different pizzas, what I love about it is they cut the pizzas in little squares, so it's easily eaten and shared this way. Love it! I love crust and bread and this place does not disappoint , if you enjoy crusty fresh bread . I saw tomato soup on someone's order I will try that next time with the focaccia. I've had the tiramisu here, bomb! This time we tried some yummy dark chocolate pistachio goodness, omg! Obviously the desserts are far out so save room for that. The service is wonderful even on a busy Sunday night! The bakers , people working behind the bakery counter and the bar are all so nice. I don't know if the cocktail bar is part is part of Princi or Starbucks but it perfectly compliments the vibe and the pizzas and dessert. They have a decent wine list and coffee cocktail galore. You can sit anywhere with all this yummy res, just be prepared to scope out a spot because it gets busy. Overall a great social atmosphere for locals and visitors.

My go-to spot for weekday lunch! The process is a bit odd and you'll have to navigate through tourists and first-timers to get to the counter. They don't really have a menu - what's in the case are the options for the day. I loved my spicy pepperoni pizza, it was crispy, flavorful and cut up into nice squares that made it easy to eat. My only complaint is the pricing - SO expensive. I got a small chicken breast and slice of pizza for $20. Pretty steep but it's worth at least 1-2 days/week.

My first visit here was awesome. Very welcoming place and easy to maneuver around. When ordering the coffee/delights the folks were on top of it. Letting me know what we're favorites and also what the coffee consisted of. I'm definitely coming back to this place again!!

This was our first stop on our trip! I had to charge my phone and get a snack, so we happened to stumble into Starbucks reserve. I got the eggs and porcini on the breakfast menu and it was really good! My boyfriend got a few cornetti with prosciutto and jam, which were also really good. An on top of this, everyone was super nice and helpful.

I have been to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery a few times before, but this time, it is renovated. A brand new experience! The area where they were selling the expensive coffees before is now replaced with a bar, the cold brew coffee bar on the left, and the cocktails and wines bar in the right. But what attracted me was the back section when you can see displays of breads on the left, displays on pizzas on the right. After choosing a few mugs and water bottles ( no, we did not really need them, haha ), we ordered some croissants to go. I will need to return to try some more hoodies, the tiramisu and the ham and cheese croissants look so yummy!

This place is amazing! Trishanda is awesome. Super enthusiastic and energetic and friendly. She made our night and experience at the Starbucks Reserve. Was originally disappointment because it wasn't serious pie, but trishanda made up for it with her service. We ordered tiramisu for dessert. I'm not a dessert person, but omg - so good and light. We got a couple of baked breads to go - super fresh and fluffy. Highly recommend.

Welcome to Seattle! From the moment you walk in, you will be transported to another day and time. We were greeted by the smells and sights of a beautifully running bakery. We tried 3 different items and all were perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We look forward to many more returns!!!

Tried their tiramisu, it was pretty good. The heavy chocolate cake was too sweet. Nice to have it in the Roastery.

Stopped by to check out the new place they opened inside the Starbucks Roastery. We ended up getting three different desserts, although we wanted all of them! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to describe each dessert in detail. All three of our desserts were delicious! Oh, and I earn Starbucks Star Rewards with my purchases here! Can't spend them here though, but that's okay. Kinda funny how a free item at Starbucks could easily cost more than any individual item here...

I could see how people wouldn't want to come here bc it's packed due to it being in the roastery but it's worth the crowd. The olive bread is amazing and the pizza is sooooo good. Will definitely be back!

Spec & Scamorza pizza is my favourite! I can't get enough of this place. The strawberry Fragaola is light and delicious dessert- mmmm, strawberries. What a beautiful store. Louie, one of the reserve employees, was very helpful in guiding me through the experience.

Food: 4.5/5 Customer Service: 5.5/5 Ambience: Lovely clean modern cafe Go Again: Can't Wait :) I have been dying to go here and it did not disappoint. I got the raspberry cheesecake (~$8.50) and the hazelnut chocolate cornetto ($4). The cheesecake was light and creamy. It smelled and tasted really eggy, but I liked it. I really liked that it was a lot lighter than cheesecake factory, but not as light as a Japanese cheesecake and still retaining the creamy cheesy flavor. The raspberry jam was the perfect thickness and added a beautiful tange and slight crunch from the raspberries. Normally I feel a bit of a sugar hangover after eating desserts, but I could eat a couple more of these. The hazelnut cornetto was definitely on the richer side. It's made of buttery crisp puff pastry that flakes perfectly yet not in a mess everywhere. It hides a delicately soft and warm interior, which leads to the dense hazelnut cream (tastes like nutella). Was so good, and definitely not bad at its price. Lastly, the lady helping me was so sweet. I asked to get the pastries for here but also for to go boxes because I just wanted to take pictures and she happily obliged, even plating the pastries prettily :). Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their pastries.

Princi. By far the best bakery in town. The croissants were crispy and flaky on the outside and rich and chewy on the inside. The brioche was sweet and flavorful and had a taste of home. By far the most impressive and attentive staff in Seattle. A essential stop for visitors.
