Printers Row Wine bar was a super cool spot with a focus on unique wines. Service was phenomenal throughout and I liked the atmosphere inside with the shelves of bottles for sale and available couches to relax in. Also appreciated that non wine options were available too. I'd recommend a visit!

This is a great wine spot in Printers Row! So many people here on the weekends for a casual drink and apps or even to stop by to buy wine and beer to-go. Dogs are allowed. They have so many great selections of wines to purchase, but not as many on their dine-in menu though. I loved the sparkling rose and would come back here again!

I stopped in to have a glass of wine and read. The music isn't loud. The service and wine is great. There is comfy seating! Couldn't ask for better.

This is the best wine bar. Vibes are always good. I always meet and have really great conversations with someone new. It’s chill, no air of pretentiousness here. It’s feels exactly how I want my wine bar to feel.

My favorite place in the neighborhood for a glass of wine. In the wintertime, the vibes are so cozy inside for wine & charcuterie. In the summer, the patio is amazing! They have a great selection of wine, beer, and liquor for purchase. Service is always excellent as well. Five stars all around.

My partner and I brought his parents here to enjoy some wine after dinner. We’ve stopped in once before and really enjoyed the wine and atmosphere. On this occasion, before I could order, the waiter scolded me for touching the artificial plastic candle and made a point to remove them all from the table. It was so brash that the table next to us commented on how odd it was. We had one drink and left. I’ll try not to judge by this singular experience but I can’t say I’ll be going out of my way to bring people here again.

Lovely, cozy little stop for a glass of summer rose and a Barrel whiskey. So many wonderful options with charming descriptions and a delightful young man that waited on us. A beautiful, quaint outside seating area to relax and people watch. Highly recommend.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening to find a packed house! Staff was wonderful and Hunter set me up switch something unexpected that was outstanding. Great space, team and selection. Felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Whether I'm grabbing a new bottle and some cheese or stopping in for happy hour I love this local wine and bottle shop. Truly a south loop neighborhood gem. Every bottle of wine, beer, or what have you is hand picked by the owner and knowledgeable staff. If you're from the neighborhood or just visiting come for the eclectic selection and stay for the quality vibes!

I am no wine snob, but this is a chill little joint to enjoy a spot of wine in Chicago, to stay or to go. So many bottles available to purchase and take home and enjoy at your leisure. My friend and I were just in the area, walking around, sightseeing and thought that it'd be nice to stop somewhere for a rest (and a drink). Yelp showed good reviews, so we gave this place a go. Very quaint. Casual, but not rundown. Lovely west-facing store front so we were able to enjoy some natural light on a rainy afternoon in town. Looking at the menu of wine choices by the glass, we got a kick out of the creative descriptions..."the Anna Delvey of reds." The staff was also helpful in providing recommendations as well. If you're in the area and are looking to enjoy a nice glass of wine, give this place a go.

I love the Printer's Row neighborhood and this wine shop fits right in. The vintage storefront looks inviting. Walking in, the vintage charm continues. Dark and cozy, it's the perfect place to shop and sip. I was surprised to see the big bar. The staff working that day were very nice. I had a few questions about Sauvignon Blanc options. They were knowledgeable and patient with me. I found a nice bottle at a reasonable price point to take home. But I love that they have happy hour too. I can't wait to return to have a nice sip & a nibble at their bar.

We were looking for some craft beers to take back to the hotel and this place exceeded all of our expectations. Did not read anything about it beforehand, just popped in on a walk to find an excellent selection and a very helpful staff. It's a dual bottle shop/tasting room. It has an in-house tasting aspect with a, a bar and patio, or you can buy meats/cheese/cracks togo.

If you are looking for a great place to socialize after dinner and like wine, this is spot. Love the ambience for conversation while enjoying a wide selection of wine. There are intimate seating as well as bar tops that can cater to most group sizes. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful picking the wine for you palette. Highly recommend.

Such a cute casual wine bar! I love the neighborhood feel and expansive wine selection. Great place to catch up with friends after work. Definitely take a moment to read the wine descriptions on their menu because they are hilarious.

While I liked the aesthetic of the bar/shop, I was very underwhelmed by our wine options and turned off by the very subpar service we received. I tried to chat with our server for recommendations, but he gave off the vibe that he didn't want to be bothered with us. Don't know his name, but we nicknamed him Flash because of how quickly he came and went whenever we asked a question or ordered. We also did not enjoy his recommendation (a wine he claimed was semi-dry but tasted like Barefoot moscato). I was also very interested in buying a bottle of wine, but I decided I'll take my business elsewhere because of the level of service. I gave 3 stars here. It would've been a 2 had it not been for the other nicer server coming to hand us our (incorrect) check. We honestly thought our original server was trying to play us, but it was noticed by the 2nd server and rectified thankfully before I swiped my card. I won't be back. I won't be back. Especially, after reading some reviews, there is apparently an 18% gratuity included that neither server informed us about. Shady behavior to get extra money out of us.

Really love the idea of this place, but after coming here for years, one constant is poor service and lack of selection. Unless Mason is here, the remaining staff range from surly to disinterested. Long waits while staff converse with each other, or catch up on their social media is the norm. For a wine shop, the selection is also very disappointing. They seem to have settled into a rhythm of predictability on the bar menu, and it's infrequent to find something really new or unique on the list. That goes double for the in store selection, which is bland, at best. I'm thrilled this spot is in the neighborhood, and I keep going back because it has a lot of redeeming features, but just being happy there is something good in the area isn't enough to make it great. That's a shame because it has terrific potential.

This is such a hidden gem in the South Loop!! I always walk past this spot, and decided to stop by on a weekend evening. This is the perfect spot for catching up with a friend or a cute date spot. The vibes are immaculate and the wine list is EXTENSIVE so get ready to try a couple glasses (really wish there was a wine flight option so I could've tried more!) if you're not a wine drinker, they also offer different beers or cocktails. Definitely check it out if you're in the neighborhood or just want a drink in cute spot.

My husband and I LOVE this wine bar! It is our go to when we are in the mood for some wine, I am truly never disappointed when I leave with their bottles.

Such a small gem in the middle of the city. Had a great couple of hours with friends and family talking and experiencing different wines. Proprietor was on point! Kind and knowledgeable, took great care of the table of 9 with quick and detailed notes from all of their bottles. Great assortment, fair pricing and a comfortable setting, you shouldn't hesitate to visit. I'm am definitely coming back again!

I loved this place! It was dark and cozy, very intimate and perfect for an impromptu afternoon/early evening date night. I have friends that have been for lunch and loved it as well. My partner and I had about two glasses of wine each. She had a sweeter white, PARAJES, ORANGE WINE, JUMILLA (SP) and I had the FRV 100, SPARKLING ROSE, SAVOIE (FR). Both delicious and would definitely have again. We split the grilled ham and cheese with red fig jam, which was also very tasty. The bartender was excellent as well he was so helpful with suggestions and attentive without hovering. All in all, this is place is great and definitely will be in our close-by date rotation.

I've lived in Printers Row since 2016, and from the beginning, this has been my go to stop for wine, beer, and spirits. They're tastings are a lot of fun and the staff are friendly and quite knowledgeable about the products they sell. They also sell a small selection of luxury goods- cheese, meat, high end coffee, etc. The shop has kind of morphed from a wine shop to a trendy wine bar that happens to sell wine. It's a quaint place to have a drink, with a small amount of indoor and bar seating accompanied by a fairly large al fresco seating area when weather permits. The selection isn't the largest in the area, but the service is great, the staff are friendly, and because of those factors I prefer them to the other liquor store in the area.

Super cute spot with a nice little patio. Love the inside, the atmosphere is great albeit a little crammed. Wine selection is fantastic and the staff is super knowledgeable. Love the snacks they offer- always a hit. The only thing that makes me want to remove a star is that they always seem to forget we are there, but something keeps us coming back so they must be doing the rest right, right?!

Last minute decided to have a few drinks here with friends. For a Saturday night, it was the perfect amount of busy. We were still able to find a table for the 4 of us. Immediately once seated we were attended to. They have some bar snacks, but we stuck to wine and beer. For how many wines they have available they're actual bar menu was a lot smaller than I expected. Both wines I tasted were very good! Unique tastes and wines that I hadn't seen much before. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their drinks. A bonus is you get 50% off a bottle if you order a drink which is amazing! The vibe was very chill. You could talk and hear each other without yelling. It could be a romantic vibe if that's what you're looking for as well. They have a ton of wines to choose from if you're looking to buy. While a lot of them seem a tad bit overpriced that's pretty on par with buying from wine shops similar to that one. They also seem to have a lot of unique choices to try! I would definitely return there again for a glass or two!

Visiting the area from Vegas. Girlfriend and I stopped in for a drink. She tried a couple of well advised wines and I was a huge fan of printers row blonde. That would've been enough alone, but Josh made the whole experience. So friendly and nice to talk to. 100% will visit again on the next trip out.

My husband and I stumbled across this wine bar and are so glad we did. It's truly a hidden gem. The service is great and the wine recommendations always on point. And the ambiance is a warm retreat in the middle of the city. Recommend!

If you answered "yes", "yeeee", or "heck yeah " to any of the above, this is a spot for you. It's a great spot to grab a pre dinner glass or pick up a bottle for a gift. Sometimes they have local artists performing. They have a refrigerated section of beers, fine, and cheeses. They also have chocolate and other snacks so you can build an A+ charcuterie board in one stop. They also have half-price bottles to go when you have a glass. Shoot. Even if you're not into those above things, you should still try this spot!

This place is really cute! Good wine at good prices, friendly staff, healthy pours , what more could you want! I'd say this is a good post work happy hour spot/group hangout. Definitely plan to come back

I've been in a few times to buy a bottle of this or that and the service has always been friendly. I heard that they added a bar a few months ago and we decided to grab a drink after work. The bar is such a great use of the space! There are a couple of tables as well and it stayed reasonably steady during the two hours we hung out. There's a short, but very interesting list of wines by the glass and they're happy to give you a quick taste before you order a whole glass. We tried a white, orange and red. All were delicious. They also have some nuts on offer for a snack and I think you can buy/build your own charcuterie from their retail refrigerator offerings, but otherwise there's no food options. The service we had from Lee who was running the whole shop and atmosphere are really wonderfully attentive and also exceptionally low key. It's the perfect neighborhood wine bar. They offer free wine, beer and whiskey tastings throughout the week and the schedule says there's live music on Fridays. This will be one of my new regular spots for a casual drink!

Ordered red wine by the glass. Wine was stored in the fridge and cold. You had one job, and failed.

Cute little wine shop, romantic dim lighting and very peaceful background music that makes it very easy to have conversations here. I've stopped by three times - the first time I came in with a book from the bookstore across the street and just had a little solo time with some wine. The second with friends and it was a great setting to catch up and the last I went to just pick up a bottle of wine since it's so close by. So love the ambiance for sure. I do wish they did flights and actual tastings as well. They do also have coffee for sale and beer - so definitely worth stopping in for a quiet-ish type of evening

I've always liked this shop for buying drinks and their samplings they used to do. I'm not a big wine person, but they have a lot of great beers from local breweries and it helped feed our brief mead obsession after one of the tastings they had for it. Then they opened up their bar inside a few months ago, and it was great. I've always kind of dreamed of having a place I'd be a "regular" at, but I'm far removed from the days when I'd consistently be going to bars - this poor liver has seen some shit back in college. But my wife consistently stopped by, and I started joining her. I really like the relaxed atmosphere and good specials. It's not like it's a huge bar - they have a selection of wines and a couple beers on tap. But it's still a great place to unwind., and service is always friendly. Then...uh...the pandemic happened? A few weeks ago they debuted their patio, and it feels like things are back to how they were before - other than the fact that things need to be wiped down before we sit. Being cooped up all week, my partner and I have been looking forward to our weekly Wine Shop stops. Between this, jerk chicken, and pizza, I'm really happy with this little corner of the neighborhood. You'll be ok liver...at least we're not doing shots anymore?

I cannot say enough how much I enjoy coming here! I've lived in the area for quite some time, but never found a bar I want to comeback to week after week. The wine shop is a refreshing change to the loud bars around the city. It's chill atmosphere with everyone being super nice. No room at the bar? No problem! Someone will move over for you or let you share their table. I love coming here on Friday's or just about any day! It's very relaxing and let's you wind down after a long day at work. They also have great weekly specials. Seven dollar pours of wine and six dollar beers on Friday, no corkage fees on certain days so you can pop Open that bottle you bought off the shelf, well you get the picture. Very reasonable prices here. I do recommend their rosemary cashews. They're oh so tasty and addicting. Can we also give a huge shout out and recognition to their wonderful bar tenders?! The staff is super helpful and top notch customer service. As for the actual store, I always go here when I need to pick up wine or beer. They've a superb beer and wine selection that has something for everyone. I love that they carry a lot of local beers. Having a great neighborhood spot like this is something Printer's Row has been missing. I strongly recommend swinging by when you're in the area.

Great selection of wines. They also carry some spirits, labels not often seen in mainstream sellers. The wine bar is also a great place hang and taste different wines. The vibe is totally chill and neighborly. Diverse south loop clientele. Love it.

This is our go-to spot for wine (especially if we want to try something new). The prices vary from $11 a bottle on up. They have weekly wine tastings to bring the community together and offer samples of something that might be new to you. They have a nice selection of cold beer and wine in the cooler. We like to bring visitors here when they want something different. Need a gift bag or some snacks to go with your beverages? They have you covered. I believe there's also a lovely array of hard liquor behind the counter that they'd love to assist you with. Plus, they offer a loyalty club!

This is definitely the business in Printers Row I visit the most. The owners are nice and the shop has an old, rustic atmosphere, but in a nice way. First of all, the selection of wines is great! I could go in every day and still find something new each time. But wine isn't usually the reason I go here. They also carry a great selection of craft beers, including some rare and aged bomber bottles. Oh, right, they also do free beer tastings every Thursday, wine tastings every Friday, and spirit tastings some Saturdays. I always make sure I stop in for at least one of these each week, as they're educational and fun! Unfortunately, I usually end up buying more stuff than I need afterwards. The only thing I would change would be a better selection of liquors, but that's not the usual reason I come here.

It's times like these that make me think of simpler times, such as spending nights with friends at Printers Row Wine Shop, enjoying a few bottles of wine, listening to records, having great conversation, and making new friends there! Printers Wine Shop is a beer/wine/liquor store that doubles as a bar! What more could you want?! We came on Wednesday night, which is BYOR (bring your own record) AND no corkage fee night! So my buddy bought a few records, and we all picked out a few bottles and settled in at a high top, and had a great evening. Wines range from around 10$ and up. We were able to find (affordable) bottles that we all agreed on, plus none of us are that picky. While enjoying our wine and good conversation, we met the owner, who was super nice and welcoming. We also meet another nice couple who just moved to Chicago, and enjoyed talking to them. Overall, Printers Row Wine Shop is a cozy place to gather with a small group of friends and enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Or stop in to pick up one to enjoy at home! Highly recommend, especially on Wednesdays! Will definitely come back, and maybe with a board game or too. Also note they are open regular hours right now, obviously for to-go purchasing only, but hey, who couldn't use a nice bottle of wine at home during this time?!

If this were my neighborhood wine, beer, and liquor store, I'd definitely be a happy camper. Their selection is top notch, and there's always someone knowledgable there willing to help. I was particularly impressed by their sake and local beer selection. Don't forget the loyalty points! If you come here enough, leave your name and score major discounts. I just bought a condo around the area and stopped today to buy some wine- decent beer and wine selection but the guy working there DEFINITELY didn't wanted to be there. I had a question since it was my first time there and he seemed annoyed that I asked. He even sighed when I asked him to check me out- given the poor/rude customer service I won't be back. It's a shame since it looks cozy and was looking for a regular spot.

I called from California about delivering a bottle of champagne to my son and a very helpful man helped me pick out a bottle over the phone and got it delivered all within 2 hours. Amazing service and great price.

I really love this local spot. I had been coming here to buy wine for a while, and not they recently opened up a wine bar too. It's small and super chill, but I love the vibe. Perfect for casual drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff members are really kind too!

What a lovely find! I needed to get a bottle of champagne for a colleague, and was looking for a small-business alternative to Binney's. Printers Row hits the spot! It's a small store, but appears to be expertly curated. The prices seem fair, throughout the spectrum. Most importantly, there are true values to be found. I picked up a bottle of California Pinot for only $11. I also saw more than a few deals where, for selected wines, there was a discount if you bought two bottles. Highly recommended!

Love the wine! But be careful when buying cheese. Bought on 9/10/21 and didn't notice the label until i was home chopping.

I have had the privilege to watch this place grow and expand over the last few years and the people there are super nice and helpful every time I walk in, and it is my go to for whenever I'm in need of some delicious wine either for myself or to give as a gift! Recently they have started a wine bar haven't tried it yet but really excited too go an check it out soon!

STAY AWAY!! I was discriminated against by this establishment. I stopped in on Saturday September 5th around 8:40pm and asked the gentleman at the counter what time they close and he stated we're closing in 10 minutes. While in that area waiting for a table reservation for a neighboring restaurant, I seen at 9:20pm that they were still open. I stopped in again to inquiry why they were still open when I was told earlier they were closing. The same employee, who identified himself as Lee, informed me that they are close. The individuals and customers on the patio were just "finishing up their experience" as they are unable to serve liquor past 11pm. Well to my surprise, I seen him seating a party of three where he just refused my service. He poured them a glass of wine and when I asked why was I being discriminated against and not good enough for their establishment, he was tongue tied. Stay Away!! I'm not sure why I was refused service. I have an idea, but I digress. However at ANY establishments where customers are not treated equally is not a business I would support. All Patrons Matter.

Will any old wine/liquor adequately meet your alcohol needs? Then find a Binny's. Prices at this Printers Row Wine Shop range from average to somewhat inflated. However, if what you want is hard to find, consider stopping by. Personally, I'm a beer nerd from Cali and I wanted to nab a few awesome Chicago brews to bring back home, and this little bottle shop carried what I couldn't find elsewhere. They have a number of options from local breweries (revolution, pipeworks, mraz, and off color, etc.). I stopped in early in my visit and wanted to pick up a few bottles but decided to wait as one employee told me they were going to stock Ninja vs. Unicorn by Pipeworks Brewing! Returned later in the week and learned they also just received Zombie Dust! Prices were right and totally worth it. Employees were also helpful enough. I'd probably stop by again next time I'm in Chicago.

I have stopped by Printer's Row Wine Shop several times now (I can't believe I haven't rated them yet!) and every time is a delightful experience. Décor: It isn't a big place but I like the vibe, very casual with a sprinkling of hipster. Along one wall is a decent selection of wines and behind the counter, and next to it, is liquor and more wine. They then have a cooler in the back with chilled wine, cheese, and a good selection of craft beer. Everything is nicely displayed, easy to see/read, and you can tell the place/business is cared for by the owner. Staff: Every time I am in there is a helpful guy there to answer questions or provide insight. Good staff! Drinks: Like I said, there is wine, cheese, some craft beer, and some select assortment of different liquors. It is the only place I've been able to find Wonderall pinot noir, and they even had Old Weller bourbon (which I've been looking for all over the place for a while now). Additionally, they sell Blanton's! Value: The prices are on par with other shops, even a Binny's. They also go above and beyond by offering to wrap the wine in a cool little brown paper bag. Granted, it's branded PRWS but it still looks great and why wouldn't you want to rep this place?! I'm a big fan of this place and will always come back for as much of my alcohol/wine/liquor needs as I can (as they can provide).

Just stopped in to buy a beer. The gentleman running the shop was preoccupied and made me wait to pay. Prices are high as well. I will not be returning.

I love this wine place! I love it so much I moveright across the street, okay just kidding but I do live right across the street so you'll always see me there. They often have beer and wine tastings so be sure to sign up for their newsletter. They also have a rewards program so get those point!

No matter where I end up living in the future - Printer's Row Wine Shop will always have a special place in my heart! I absolutely love the vibe and the staff. They love and care so much about Printer's Row. We need more businesses around here like them. It can be pricey, but they offer beer selections (whether in the fridge or on tap) that you cannot find elsewhere. I may even buy a PRWS shirt LOL. Not that I need another tee let alone a wine bar one. But, I love everything they stand for in this community. We should support them as they adapt to the new COVID business area.

We are from Cali , we loved a few yrs back to CO. Visited Chi town based on recommendations . And this is one of my favorite spots. Visited last yr for the 1st time , went back a few weeks ago with our Kiddoes and I had to stop at my fave spot in CHi town with the best Pinot Grigio " Perle Bleu". Had a glass and bought a botella to enjoy at the river walk. I can't wait to come back and have another glass of vino here.

This place is the perfect neighborhood wine shop! The inside has a cozy feel that makes you want to take your time in there. The wine tastings every Friday are a perfect way to try out 4 to 5 new types of wine. I usually end up picking out one of the wines I sampled to take home. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and willing to help you pick out the perfect wine!

Pretty sweet selection of beer, wine and spirits and not just your mainstream brands but a good portion of the craft and up and coming stuff. There is a points program that the guy at the register will ask if you're a part of. They have meats and cheeses here as well to support your wine gathering if thats the case. Good spot for those of us in Printers Row/South Loop.

Mon dieu. I've since sampled all of the three wines I bought that day. Aforementioned Fiction was fantastic, as was the anti Red. But the one that made me moist was the Agua de Piedra (Foot water?!) Malbec. Whoa. This is a wine that will make your panties dissolve. Dry, dry, DRY, and bold, baby. I will so make the trek back to Printers Row for more of that goodness. Mmmmmm.

This is a nice sized bottle shop for both craft beer loves and wine aficionados. Very clean and organized. Even the pricing seemed quite reasonable for their craft beers (sorry, did not look at any wine today). Why 3 stars, you ask? First off, they are completely unwilling to lift a finger to help you if you are looking at craft beer, so stick to selling wine. This is obviously your bread and butter, but you have jumped on board with the trendy craft beer movement, but you don't even know your own beers that are sent to you once a week by a new brewery that is 20 miles away from you. I messaged on FB, since they stay somewhat active and was ignored, so I called and they were quite short with no assistance. Then, I actually go to the store and while looking at bottles, I ask if they happened to have any bottles from a particular brewery. The guy didn't even look up...just, "nope, sold out." A second later, I find said brewery with over a dozen of their bottles sitting 10' away from the counter. No apology, which is fine...again, it's not wine but you almost lost a sale. Reluctantly to fork over my $, I grabbed my few items and was out the door. Not a great first impression to say the least.
