"While technically within the limits of the City of San Diego, this community-oriented coffee shop and art space is a favorite of many a resident of National City. Google
A great multi-family owned and operated coffee shop. The drinks and pastries are very good and reasonably priced. They feature works by local artists which can be purchased for decent prices. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I have seen many people hanging out with friends and enjoying the music. The shop is pet friendly, and when I was there they provided a water bowl for dogs. I am so happy we have a local coffee shop and I encourage everyone to check it out. The only room for improvement would be adding larger cup sizes for iced coffee drinks.

Quaint neighbothood coffee shop, great coffee, & a very friendly staff. Easy to miss when driving by & the parking entrance is from the alley, or park on the street.

Was Looking for a new coffee shop near my house. First time here and the barista was super helpful and pleasant. Great coffee, nice spot, music wasn't too loud so i could actually study and the dude was really nice. Definitely coming back!

Google
It's a nice coffee shop for the neighborhood. They always have a bunch events on the weekends. The owners are doing a lot to help the community. I do my share of contributing by buying lots coffee and drinks for my girls. The coffee is good and fair price, good atmosphere!

DJ_Daddy619

Google
First time there and the espresso is awesome! He customized it to my liking with no problem (I'm not too big on sweet coffee drinks) I will definitely be going back again.

Crystal M.

Yelp
Hidden gem that Im glad I found I got the creme de olla with oatmilk and my daughter got the chai. Both so delicious and Im excited to try the rest of the menu. The interior aesthetic was so chill and inviting. There was a patio area outside to sit and drink your coffee. Barista was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be coming back

Yelp
This is by far the most impressive Cafe I've stepped into! 6 Grados Cafe is a small coffee shop hidden in Paradise Hills and once you find it you're in for a journey. It's packed with personality and you will have to stop by to experience this. I was seriously charmed by how the owner utilized every inch of this space. The place says a lot about him and let me tell you he's an extremely cool guy! Beyond the amazing ambiance of this cafe are his perfectly crafted drinks. I had the deliciously brewed Crema de Olla which was surprisingly accompanied by a small cookie on top. Awesome combination by the way! As someone who doesn't typically consume anything with coffee, I am incredibly thankful there was a little treat to be shared with it. I certainly wish I can say more about the menu so I will be back to try more drinks with food next time! Worth the visit and definitely deserves more patrons. Stop by when you can! Side note, there are many cool novelty items sold in the shop you will just need to explore a little to find it!

Yelp
This is a must stop! If you like great atmosphere, great coffee, and delicious pastries please swing by! Drink flavors and pairings are always so unique and fresh! Menu is always evolving and is always exciting see what is new (and it never misses). The owner is very knowledgeable with flavor pairings and so articulate when expressing their own self expression. You can really tell he loves what he does and it shows. My boyfriend and i religiously support this business and will continue for many years to come!! P.S Also look out for their events they have after hours! Always has a unique lineup of events and collaborations.

Yelp
This is a great little hidden coffee shop on the outskirts of the community of Paradise Hills. The gentleman who runs the coffee shop is very friendly and welcoming, and his wife is a terrific baker and owner of D Sweets D. That being said, I had a cortado and oat, raisins, cranberries, and walnut D Sweets D cookie. Both cost $4. The cortado was robust yet smooth and rich. It was well balanced and delicious. The cookie I paired with it was amazing. So much so that I told the owner to make sure he gives his wife a big hug the next time he sees her. The coffee shop offers an eclectic collection of furniture and decorations. They offer inside and outside seating. I can see how this place is a neighborhood favorite. When in the area, you know what to do.

Yelp
Love love this little coffee shop. Super cute and homey. Small on the inside but so cozy. The crema de olla I kind of expected to be a tad bit sweeter than it was after I was told what was in it.. but it was still really good and I enjoyed it! I also got the cheese and ham croissant. I was super surprised at the price for their food! I feel like most places are really pricy but this wasn't that bad to me. They also have freshly infused water available! Love that. No bathrooms at this coffee job! But they have signs to give you the heads up. Great place to chill and do some homework or read a book or chat with friends. The baristas working were super friendly and accommodating!! Parking isn't too bad if it's not busy in the local area. definitely want to return to try more things on their menu!

G R.

Yelp
Gracias Seis Grados! Siempre impresionante! Y siempre delicioso! I specifically love that I never have to think of what I want, I leave it all up to Eduardo to make me whatever he feels like making and I am NEVER disappointed!

Dylan G.

Yelp
What a cool place! The shop itself has so much to look at and such a cool vibe. The coffee was VERY good and we have been back a few times since. Service was very friendly, quick, and helpful. We loved it!

Alex P.

Yelp
Good service good coffee and the inside is really cool to look at. I got a a cortado(rating 9/10) which was really well made and the coffee beans are great quality. We also got the crema de olla(rating 8.9/10) and it was amazing! We also give their banana bread a 8.5/10 it was moist and was a big slice.

Ariana M.

Yelp
New favorite drink from here is their strawberry matcha! Still one of my favorite coffee shops because of the people and drinks. So kind and delicious:)

Noriel O.

Yelp
A cute, small hole in the wall coffee shop off of Reo drive. I love the cozy vibes. I got the Honey Sinner latte with oat. It's super delicious and not too sweet. The barista always takes time to make your drink well crafted while providing genuine service. Love this spot bc it's not super busy bc only people in the community know about it.

Shelly M.

Yelp
Love the vibe here. The coffee I had (butterscotch toffee latte) was excellent! I had a homemade corn muffin that went perfectly with my latte. Barista was warm and welcoming.

Ligia D.

Yelp
Loved it. Espresso was fresh and small seating area inside. Would come again when in San Diego.

Stacee M.

Yelp
Super cute little cafe with vintage relics and a flair of art sprinkled with Hispanic heritage. Love looking at all the art and little things they have as their decor. Most of my friends got the Oaxaca... which looked really good. If you are wanting a chocolate drink, this one is the one for you. I got the cream de olla, but it was a little too sweet, but as the ice started to melt it tasted great!! You could tell the coffee beans here are fresh. We also got the carrot cake piece... which I wish I would have asked if they can warm it up...but it was delicious nonetheless. A huge plus for me was they had coloring books for my daughter to color in as we sat and drank our coffee. The lady taking our order was super sweet. Would love to be back next time I'm visiting town.

Vere L.

Yelp
Nice environment. Great coffee. The chocolate muffin amazing Quick service as well Neat Clean And outdoor sitting .

Arielle C.

Yelp
So sad to see Project Reo close but I'm glad that PH still has a local coffee shop. The cafe is quaint and cozy with a homey vibe. I came in for the first time on a Sunday morning and enjoyed an iced crema de olla. The staff are fluent in Spanish which is a reflection of the surrounding community. The baristas were friendly and served my coffee quickly. I'll be back again!

Shirley O.

Yelp
This place is awesome. I picked up a hot Noisette which had hazelnut syrup, nutmeg and clove. The milk was steamed to the right temperature and it was not too sweet. Service was quick, friendly and welcoming. The place is tiny, dark and eclectic. I sat in one of the lounge chairs which was comfortable and relaxing. I drove by two Starbucks in National City to come here and it was worth driving the extra two to three miles to get here. The only downside was no public restroom.

Mike A.

Yelp
Really great ambiance and coffee! My go-to drinks are the plain Cafe de Olla or the latte version of it! My go-to spot for coffee in the mornings before I hit the office. Much better quality coffee drinks over the larger chains.

Jessica G.

Yelp
First time trying this place and I'm so glad I did. Friendly customer service cool interior. As soon as I ordered my drink not even five mins it was out and ready. .I ordered an iced crema de olla I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to come back to try out their other drinks.

Viviana G.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee places. Its a cute little place with amazing coffee. Everything i've ordered here is always on point and the owner is friendly. They even add a cookie to the top of your drink, making it unique.

Rhea Q.

Yelp
Second time here, I decided to check it out one more time before I go back home to Hawaii, but the ambience of this cafe is awesome. I tried the Crema De Olla the first time, so good and just today I got the Taro Brew, which I loved cause I love coffee, with the taro cold foam, and then the coconut cold brew flavor was just a great mix. Overall 10/10 recommend and it's one of those hidden gems.

Alyanna M.

Yelp
I frequent here a lot & it's always a hit. I've even got other people into coming & they love it too! Such a great hole in the wall place for coffee! You won't be disappointed with any of their drinks!

Eddie G.

Yelp
Best coffee .. I come at least twica week .. they also have great sandwiches ... it's a must try

Michelle B.

Yelp
This place is so dope it doesn't really need an entire long winded review. Just come - I promise you you'll not regret it. It's so cool that when you step foot into 6 Grados cafe- you're cool too- even if you're not.

Maridel A.

Yelp
Yummm!! My new coffee spot. I always drove by shop when dropping if my kids... finally I decided to give it a try and very glad I did. How cute is this little cookie with my drink. The shop is very cozy to enjoy a morning coffee or pastry. Friendly barista too! Will def try other flavors on the menu.

vinny m.

Yelp
Having lived in the area for quite some time, you get to see a hidden gem. This is one of them! It's a cute cafe nestled in the center of Paradise Hills. The coffee is great & there are different flavor options, so it's not just your usual Americano. The owner & other employees are so welcoming. It was early in the morning, they had good music on & were so warm when getting my order.

Johnna G.

Yelp
I really like this spot. They have great coffee, great customer service, and it's super close to my house. My favorite drink in an iced Kill Bill. It taste so good and it's beautiful to look at. My daughter loves the iced Matcha. I enjoy their espresso's, also, but go through phases when I don't drink coffee. I like that they have great espresso and non-espresso drinks to chose from. It's always packed with locals and I love the community work they do. I really should have taken a picture of my drink. But I drank that bad boy. Next time for sure.

Deanne L.

Yelp
Great coffee on my first visit! We ordered two Cruellas which had marshmallow syrup, Oreo bits, and lechera. No complaints and I enjoyed the little cookie that it comes with. Ambiance was cool with art everywhere. Very nice service. Not spacious inside but we were able to enjoy our drinks outside on their patio for a bit

Loribelle D.

Yelp
Decided to try this place because we were around the area. Such a cozy place. The service was excellent. Deducted a star because the cold drink Cruella was a little bland and one of the hot drink. The Hazelnut drink was really good.

Jenelle s.

Yelp
Fun coffee shop in National City! When we came in, they were decorated and ready for Halloween. They had lots of options on the menu for both hot and cold drinks. I was tied between the Cruela (which was a cookie-add in drink) and the Salted Carmel. I went with the salted Carmel because of the toffee bits. My boyfriend and I also got a scone and that was delicious! I would definitely come back for a coffee or baked good!

Adan A.

Yelp
Happy to see this storefront turned into a great shop inspired by art and Mexican culture in the neighborhood I grew up in. The coffee is great, with exciting flavors to choose from and offers a nice quiet atmosphere to spend time in, we will definitely be coming back. Support your local coffee vendors!

Miguel V.

Yelp
Great little place in a spot you wouldn't normally expect. The inside is very inviting and almost looks like a little living room. There is ample outside patio area that you can sit and get work done. It looks like he specializes in latte's, but I just got the drip coffee because that's what I prefer. The place has wifi and it was quite fast, but be aware that there is no restroom in the place. I would recommend it to sit and chat with friends but if you plan to post up here to do work then just make sure your bladder can handle it. The parking was a little weird as well. I believe there is street parking, but if you want to park in the parking lot then you'll have to go down a side street and then turn in. There's no entry from the main street.

Liiban O.

Yelp
This is coffee shop is excellent, it's located in the Paradise Hills neighborhood. I was looking to try new coffee shops in my neighborhood and to my surprise this place popped up on my Yelp search. The service was excellent, coffee was flavor, Chai Tea was perfect, and on top of all of that each drink comes with a free sugar cookie!

Kaley N.

Yelp
I'm gonna be honest, the Lavenda latte was not it. It tasted watery and fake which is unfortunate since they make their own syrup and I was excited to try it out. Also their Instagram and Yelp accounts have images of food (croissant breakfast sandwich), but they do not have them in store. The ambience was really great though.

America V.

Yelp
The girls here are always so genuine and sweet! It's a unique little spot with great coffee (: This is coming from someone that's worked in coffee for five years now. It's an overall great experience, service and quality! Supporting local is always best but this one is a hidden gem for sure

Mya T.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for new (to me) coffee shops, specifically with flavors I haven't tried before. The shop is small but cozy with lots of decor that reminded me of Esquina. The barista was kind and patient while I decided on what I wanted to drink. The first time I came here, I tried the Cafe de Olla latte and it was nice and strong with the cinnamon, coffee, and piloncillo. The second time i tried the Oaxaca and I loved the bits of chocolate nutty crunch at the bottom of the drink. I can't wait to come back and try the Porto and the Mezcal one !!

Shay E.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to go to in National City. Always recommend it to my family and friends. Delicious drinks and baked goods! Especially enjoy the matcha, the macarons, and the hot sandwiches when they're available. I love how community based everything is, the donation box for Christmas and all the neat events done to gather people! Vendors, live music outside sometimes, etc. The space itself is filled with artwork (zines, the graphic art stickers on the cups, the mural, etc.) and there's cool decor everywhere, some I believe were even donated from the people in the neighborhood! A lovely gem of a place and the family who run it are such nice people :)

Mimi L.

Yelp
Tucked away in a little corner is this wonderful coffee shop! The man behind the counter appeared to be the owner and had an excellent attitude and personality! Got the lavender drink and asked to add vanilla and he was more than happy to do so. Loved that the drinks came with a little cookie on top. I'd recommend this small shop to anyone in search of great coffee and vibes while trying to avoid the hipster IG coffee shops.

Russel R.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite local coffee shops in paradise hills, Eduardo makes some of the best coffee never fails to impress. Always my go to spot to bring my family and friends

Korey S.

Yelp
Amazing ! Taste so much healthier and gives you energy ! My order is written in the images

Alysia J.

Yelp
Family owned, great vibes, and delicious coffee. Found this place back in September 2022 on my birthday when I wanted to treat myself to a latte. I have come back every now and then, but realized recently I'm crazy to have not already made this my coffee spot! Finally brought my husband here today and he loved it to. All drinks are made to order, are intentionally crafted, and served with a cookie I have tried the Chai Latte (non coffee), Oaxaca Latte, and the Crème De Olla- all are so tasty! If you're looking to support a local business and want a full proof delicious drink, come here!

Yesenia A.

Yelp
I loved this coffee. So much. I can't wait to go back because I've been craving it. I got a cinnamon and honey iced latte with oat milk. It was great ! The outside bar style seating is great to enjoy the weather

Liz G.

Yelp
Really enjoyable coffee shop. The coffee and non coffee drinks absolutely delicious!! Me and my daughters came and we range from our taste in coffee and drinks. We all liked the Lil cookie with each drink! And all really liked our drink: cajeta brûlée was yummy

Selene R.

Yelp
I was gifted a cold crema de la olla drink. It was delicious and I went again Saturday to try out the hot drink of crema de la olla. It was so good. Highly recommend to try. Got a cold brew vanilla with coconut milk and 2 add shots. My bf said it had good flavor and kept him up for his OT.

Anahi P.

Yelp
This place is consistently good. The cookies they sell there are good. I'm happy I found a coffee shop close to my house that isn't a chain. 5 stars for house made syrups. Cafe de olla is aromatic and tasty.

Jay L.

Yelp
My go-to spot for coffee. I never got the name of the owner/barista but you can tell he has a passion for coffee. Today I got the chefs mercy and he made a drink with charcoal and butter. I wish I told him it was bomb because he put some work into it.

Adam R.

Yelp
The owner is an incredible chef and he brings his culinary instincts to this cafe to make unique and tasty coffee drinks. A real treat.

Glenn R.

Yelp
You know that one secret spot you don't want to share but you want to share because it's that damn good? Welp, this is it. This place is just everything you want in a coffee shop. Good vibes, cool owners, well made coffee, and homemade baked goods. The Mexican wedding cookies are insane and they're so cheap I don't even want to post how much they are. It's unbelievable that this place hasn't blown up yet. Maybe I should just delete this review and keep this place a secret

Latasha H.

Yelp
This hidden little coffee shop is located in Paradise hills located by paradise hills post office and baby cakes. They offer tea, coffee plus pastries. Coffee was good. clean, calming vibe. Inside and outside seating available. Great customer service. We tried the iced vanilla latte and salted caramel latte both good. Coffee roast is was a little to dark for my liking but overall good. Average prices

Gary R.

Yelp
I would very much like to try this and many other coffee shops but @ $6 - $9 a 12 - 16 oz. cup, I won't do it. It looks like a quaint and glitchy place but when I can make 30 good size cups of good to great coffee at home for practically the price as 1, one, ONE cup. Again, "I WON'T DO IT". Good luck. I hope you don't price yourself out of business.
