Can't Miss Copenhagen Restaurants

"Opened by Youra Kim, Propaganda Kitchen and Wine serves Korean dishes like beef tartare with pear and crispy gochujang-smothered ribs. The venue also includes a wine shop and bar, offering a blend of Korean and Nordic flavors." - Mary Holland

The 38 Essential Copenhagen Restaurants

"Everyone who goes to Propaganda ends up drinking the Kool-Aid, except here it tastes like natural wine and spicy Korean food. Riccardo Marcon (also the founder of Barabba) teamed up with chef Youra Kim to open this casual modern Korean eatery combined with a bottle shop stacked with a very generous selection. Come for the gochujang-glazed chicken topped with crunchy peanuts, skewers of grilled, urban-farmed mushrooms and rice cakes, or an epic sando. For drinks, just pick a bottle from the shop. The corkage fee is canceled after midnight and the kitchen runs late, making this a great spot to end the night. Propaganda’s block, the once not-so-diner-friendly Vester Farimagsgade Street, is now a highly sought-after area for new restaurateurs." - Anna Norström, Gabe Ulla

The best dang fried chicken I have had. All the other dishes were also fun and playful with heaps of flavor and balance. I didn’t cry like I did when I first visited, but that only happens once in a blue moon to me.

This place is BOMB. The bomb noodles were so good. I wasn’t able to even take a picture of them because I inhaled them too fast. Next time I come back, the place will be renovated and I’m sure a long line of people in front of me will be waiting for those noodles too. Every single thing was so powerful. My mouth felt tyrannical— now I know why it’s called propaganda.

Too small portions for the money you pay for. 150 kr we got some thin curry with squash and peas. 50 kr a very small bowl of rice which you have to buy separately. Service is good but definitely a tourist trap.

Amazing flavours, and such a great Makgeoli Spritz. The Korean friend chicken was so authentic and delicious! I am gonna come back🫶🏼

Easy going Korean restaurant, great find during our trip! Loved the mixture of flavors. We were a big group so we got to try all most everything! My favorite was the braised beef tongue, it was insane please give it a try you won’t regret it!

Tiny portions but SO delicious! Rather expensive for what it offers but every dish was unique in its own way. Would I call it chinese? No, not traditional. Good drinks, amazing warm staff, inside a bit without character but doesnt matter if the food is great. Truly recommend for some unique flavors. Available sitting areas for bigger groups.

I have been here twice. Although some dishes are really good, I think portions are not that big and ultimately too expensive for what you get. Fried chicken is great! The sauce is everything. However the side dishes were nothing to write home about, except for some pumpkin gnocchi that we absolutely loved. Cocktails were ok. The atmosphere is very cosy but there is something that really detracted from the experience in my opinion: since it is an open kitchen sometimes the restaurant absorbs all the smoke from the grills.

Went on a solo trip just for dessert and the service was perfect. The staff was very nice. The sticky toffee pudding was sweet, spicy and had such a surprising flavour from the zabaione.
