Prospect Park

Our food was really good, wings very good. The pasta A1 but fulfilling. The drinks i definitely loved. Our server omg i can’t remember her name really light skinned girl with two cute pig tails she was attentive and made sure we had our orders super sweet girl. We sat outside on the patio yesterday somewhat in the middle/back on the right side.

The food here was DELICIOUS!! Probably the best food we had while visiting Houston. We ordered the seafood egg rolls, some fries, honey bbq chicken wings and Caribbean jerk chicken wings and some macaroni and cheese. -Seafood egg rolls were 10/10. Flavor was incredible -Honey BBQ wings, 8.7 out of 10. I loved how they were cooked but the flavor wasn't my favorite -Caribbean jerk wings: 9/10. - fries: 9/10 -macaroni was 10.5/10. Didn't look anything special but the flavor was dynamite!!

We went to Park Place because kamp Houston didn't open until 4 pm we ordered the steak and potatoes, A Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and the wing platter. The steak came out first with the Ceasar salad instead of potatoes that was supposed to come with it and when I talk to the guy about it, he told me that it was his first time working there and he didn’t know so I showed him what I ordered and he Took the salad off the plate and brought potatoes 15 minutes past and we still didn’t have any utensils. The wings in the wing platter were crispy very hard to chew, salty, and small asf. They didn’t give us any catfish nuggets that was supposed to come with it and my salad was full of Caesar dressing it looked like my lettuce was swimming. But the place is much cleaner than Kamp Houston.

Ordered Philly egg rolls. Lemon drops and beer were warm. Had to ask for ice on the side. Waitress Deerica was nice.

FIRST TIME HERE AND I MUST SAY IT WAS THE WORST EVER AND AT THE TIME THEY WHERE NOT EVEN THAT BUSY. SO UPON PLACINH ORDERS FOR FOOD IT TOOK MORE THAN 1 HR TO BRING FOOD OUT TO OUR PARTY! DRINKS WHERE WATERY AND THE FROZEN DRINK MACHINE IS WAS DOWN. MOST IF THE FOOD WE WHERE TRYING TO ORDER THEY WHERE OUT OF STOCK THEY STATED. OUR WAITER WAS SOMEWHAT ATTENTIVE AND NICE/FRIENDLY. ONCE ALL ORDERS WHERE TAKEN IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET OUR FOOD THEN WE BEGAN RECEIVING ORDERS THAT WAS NOT OURS.. SOME FOOD WAS NEVER BROUGHT OUT AT ALL. THEN TO TOP IT OFF WE RECEIVED UNCOOKED FOOD! HIGHLY PISSED. WE ATTEMPTED TO SPEAK WITH THE MGR. ON DUTY (AMBER) TO WHICH SHE HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE NOT SURE WHY BUT TRYING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF BLOODY CHICKEN WAS NOT FAIR TO US! ALSO ABOUT FOOD THAT HAS NOT BEEN BROUGHT OUT AFTER 2 HOURS IT DOESNT TAKE THAT LONG FOR (4) TENDER STRIPS. MOST OF THE FOOD WAS COLD ARRIVING TO THE TABLE AS WELL, I FELT TERRIBLE FOR THE SERVER. SHE WAS REALLY UPSET ABOUT THIS. BUT OF COURSE THE MGR DONE NOTHING ABOUT OUR PROBLEM NOR DID SHE EVER RETURN TO SPEAK TO US EITHER SHE SIMPLY WALKED AWAY! I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS LOCATION NEVER AGAIN! AMBER NEEDS TO BE FIRED!

Me and my friend came, Connie was our server! Literally the best hands down! Food was hot and tasty! Service was fast and she was kind the entire time! We will be back

Received wings that were not edible they were too salty and they were too tough to chew. When we stated that we did not want the wings the manager stated that we could return the wings but we would still have to pay for the wings. He stated that he would serve those wings to his Mom, poor Mom. The place had a small crowd and we suffered from their overwhelming need to make money on a night when other places are booming. I do not recommend them or their food.

I had a good time here overall, I went twice in one day. The service was slow and they were out of a few menu items we wanted to try. The dip, Philly egg rolls and steak kabobs were good though. The hookah guy took a while to text us back too 😒. Outside of that, the vibe was nice. I’d go back for sure.

I adore Prospect Park. The wings are always on point. We tried their brunch, which was good as well. It's a lounge-type vibe, so customer service is okay, but if it gets packed, then it's a bit slow.  Parking is also bananas, so expect to pay. It's spacious inside, and they have a nice outdoor seating area.  They offer non-breaded versus breaded wings. I always go with the breaded. The prospect park wing sauce is a must! The oxtail and grits were delicious. Enjoy the atmosphere and the food. The music is kind of loud, but I am aging, so it might be fine for others.

I rarely write reviews so please bear with me.. Came for National Tequila Day, for the deal posted on their instagram. Tequila deals and .50 cent wings today, Wednesday. My group of 4, arrived at 1915. Got seated at 1918. Waited 15 minutes around 1933/1935 and nobody came to check on us, or serve us. Got our drinks at the bar. We waited until 2022 before the Manager Jason came over to us. We explained the situation how we could have ordered food and beverages from the get go and if they would honor the deal since nobody had come to check on us. Mind you this is after speaking to 3 different waitresses, who continuously walked past us, but the table behind us got served from the rip. Jason came to talk to us and explained he could not honor the deal, regardless of the staff shortage and the time we had already waited.. which is not the consumers problem, it's the establishments problem. He stated he can order us a round on him for the inconvenience and then send someone over. We continued to wait another 20 minutes, drinks never came and eventually the server (one of the 4 who we spoke with, asked, and continued to bother for service) came over to us and at this point we were over the whole evening. We were ready to spend money, tip generously and eat our food content, which we could not do. I've been here once before and had a similar experience, but figured we could try it again. I will never come back to this establishment, even though as a consumer we were understanding of the staff shortage and business. Beware to those wanting to dine here.

Not sure if we didn't come at a prime time on Saturday but this place was very much corny. 2 drinks I asked for they didn't have all the stuff to make so I had to settle for something else... Service was lack luster. Didn't try the food. However the music was good.

Truly wanted to love this place, but the service was extremely slow. This can make this place more of a hit/miss. I ordered the wings and waffles with the mimosa tower. The wings were spectacular - but eggs arrived a bit later than the rest of the meal. On a more positive note: the atmosphere here is very party like - I don't think anyone comes for the service, but mostly the environment: Loud music, hookahs, and a fun time with the right crowd.

Our server was wonderful. She seemed to have many tables, but when we flagged her down, she was attentive and helpful. The bar was very slow and the drinks were inconsistent (alcohol, color, taste, etc). I had to send my drink back because it tasted like juice and nothing like my first round. The hookah was really good and super easy to order via text. You can order a fruit head on the hookah, but it will be covered in tinfoil, so you may want to just go the traditional way to save a couple dollars. The food was okay. Nothing awful but also nothing amazing. This spot is more for the fun vibe with hookah and drinks. I wouldn't come here just for the food. Lots of TVs for sports entertainment.

Pretty decent place to come and have fun! It's def one of Houston's turn up spots. Live good dj and of course hookah. I don't do hookah but my friends said their hookah here is good! It's a nice spacious ambiance inside with a bar and outside patio. We sat in the outside patio and it was very nice with good size booths! The service was ok just don't like how parking is $20.00. I do recommend here for sure for a good time. I just suggest doing Uber! -Marshay D.

Came on a Friday night. We just missed happy hour but we ordered food from the regular menu. The tacos were just ok. They could have used more seasoning and they were supposed to be topped with red cabbage but they just put shredded lettuce instead. Also, it would have been nice if the chips came with salsa. My drink was pretty good and strong. The service was spotty though. I would be served by a great bartender and they would disappear in the back and another bartender would be near with their attention on the phone instead of the patrons trying to get their attention. Parking was difficult. Either you pay for valet or pay for the other lots nearby. Otherwise, the DJ was great and I loved the indoor/outdoor vibe.

It's a cool spot for Sunday funday! That's when I showed up! I order the breakfast burger it was funny that it didn't have a bun but sandwich bread it was good though maybe the meat needed a little bit more seasoning but it wasn't bland. I got the mimosa coco nut the staff were so kind and made sure I was good and having a good time I went by myself so I was sitting in the bar and they were trying to make sure I was comfortable. The place is really fun it has cool pic spots and the music started really jamming about at 3pm Would like to come back with friends and get a section. For the parking situation you can do valet $20 or self park $10 I guess this is the situation in all of Houston but just wanted to mention that

Not good at all! Don't know how we ended up here. Service was terrible as well. Our waiter was on her phone the entire time.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. We were clearly not welcome here. Our waitress never came to the table (not busy at all), so I went up to the bar. I was ignored for about 10 mins even after I made eye contact with the bartender, so I ordered and paid. We took the hint and quickly finished our drinks and left.

If you are looking for a vibe and you want to turn up, watch the game, and enjoy great food...this is the place for you! They have live music and a DJ, TVs with sports going and good drinks. The service would've been great IF they had the food and drinks we wanted. They barely had things we wanted including the mimosas, but they went out to buy the ingredients. The food we ended up getting was good. The breakfast burger was really good. This is a cool vibe! Love it.

Visited this business on a Sunday afternoon and it was so lively I thought it was Saturday! The valet parking cost was $20, I'm thinking maybe $10 would be appropriate but okay. As we enter there's a sign that read $10 entry cash only. We didn't have cash but I think my son sent it via Zelle or some other option. When we get in I see atm machines but they're not working. We sat at a bar height table with uncomfortable metal bar stools, I had to stand after a while sitting on those. We went to watch the NBA game and ended having drinks, hookah and a little food. Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and mozzarella sticks appetizers then my son had the burger with fries. The food was good, the fishbowl drinks were massive. The drinks were cute but didn't contain much alcohol. The waitress service was mediocre, it's really busy there so we were understanding. Besides the average food and drinks, the place is very lively!! Almost like a club with the dancing and dj, more catered to 20 something year olds. I'd go back because it's a good vibe! There's seating inside enclosed and outside covered patio seating. I recommend! Almost forgot! The nice lady in the women's restroom had everything you could think of from candy to feminine products (tips taken).

I think they are great place to go for happy hour. Their premade drinks like on the menu are OK if you're not a drinker. Pacifically I did not like them. However, this is a great place to go with your France to do some Hookah grab some little bite. Their catfish is good. Tacos are OK as well.

Ah vibe if you want to hang around and listen to good music and hookah, this is a mixed crowd but still enjoyable. The drinks are good I didn't try much food I just had seafood egg rolls and those were decent with the dipping sauce. The service was good as well I like how you text for hookah and it's on a separate bill. We liked this place so much we came twice during our stay.

Prospect Park is always a whole vibe! Whether I'm coming for weekend brunch, a rareee weeknight turn up, or on a holiday weekend, this place is down to give allll the vibes and music and not to mention some bomb ass food. Both the brunch and dinner menus are full of options. Wings, seafood egg rolls, oxtails/catfish and grits are some of my favorites, but I've never come here and been disappointed in my food. Service can be a bit slow at times, especially when it's busy, but that's tho be expected. Plenty of drink options and a full bar available if you prefer. Drinks are usually pretty big and fairly strong, so be mindful!

I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't. We arrived a bit after 7pm and was forced to pay 20 for parking when there was plenty of parking available and it was still dinner hours so I don't know why we had to pay for parking other than a money grab. Yes, I know a lot of restaurants charge parking when there is limited availability or valet only. This was not that. We were seated within a few minutes, and the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other or our server. Now I could see if it were 9pm or later, but it was too early to be eating a meal listening to Sexxy Red talking about her booty hole! The server was nice but pretty much nonexistent. She took our drink order, which seemed to take a long time considering the few patrons in the building. Our area had one other group of 4 seated and that was it. The food was also fairly slow and the drinks are ridiculously sweet and overpriced. My food was midgrade for the price. I had grilled catfish and shrimp with mac and cheese and veggies. It was just okay. My husband's Hennessey wings were cold, but it took so long to find our sever that he decided just to eat them so we could leave. I was told the fried catfish that we ordered at the table was over salty and the breading just fell off. Also, it just burns me to get plasticware. If you can bring me a real plate and cup, why not a fork? Seriously... When we left, my ears were ringing from the loud music. If we had not paid for parking, we probably would have left before even trying to order.

Chicken and waffles was good. The tower of mimosas was really good. Service was great.

The vibes are nice and the wings are good. The music and scenery give! They have many televisions to watch games , and there are indoor and outdoor options. Be prepared for long waits on busy/special days and by all means do not come desperately hungry. It's a lounge/nightlife scene, so things are moving 100 miles per hour. They will automatically charge you 20% gratuity, so servers are not motivated to give you the best service and response times. I despise auto-gratuity for non-large parties, but this is common. Also, be prepared to do some accounting. They don't split checks. So either someone is footing the bill, everyone is splitting the cost, or you're gonna be doing some good ole fashioned arithmetic. Overall, I use to work in a joint like this , so I came in with these expectations . If you're into urban, hip-hop, R&B vibes with Black and Brown folk, then you just have to do yourself the favor and mark this off your list. It's like a nightlife staple of Houston right now. So just go , but be prepared.

Cassidy was absolutely amazing!!!! She came to the table and was ready to take drink orders and offered us food. We weren't even hungry but because she offered and so detail about the food it made us order ! Great job again. It was the start of the final and was a busy night however she had our drinks flowing (we order a few) lol and had the food out on time. I was very impressed ! Thank you again Cassidy

I come here pretty often. Tried brunch for the first time. I got the lamb chops and eggs. My date wanted some as well but they ran out so he had to get something else. It was pretty good. They're not the best lamb chops I've ever had but I did enjoy them. I love their boudin balls. Sooo good. The vibe is good but the service can be very slow if you come in the evening.

The customer service here is really bad. If you want good service I would suggest sitting at the bar. The food here is really good and they have specials throughout the week which is a plus. However, they do tend to run out of items. it's a hit or miss here.

I adore cinnamon buns, but one restaurant managed to disappoint me with my favorite breakfast dish. Despite having great experiences in Texas, crossing paths with Prospect left me disappointed. Our waitress, JAZ, was not attentive. Instead of ensuring our satisfaction, she was doing the electric slide with another group. We had to repeatedly call her for silverware, water, and receipts. Sadly, our $170 meal included freezer-burnt cinnamon rolls.

Visited with a friend at the recommendation of a hotel worker as spot to finish off Cinco de Mayo. Arrived and told that tables are first time, first served. Found two empty seats at a shared table and sat down. Ordered a hookah via the QR code, which took me to an online form. Shortly after, the waitress took our drink order. We both ordered the Vaccine. It was good but did not seem like there was any alcohol in it. At the same time as ordering, we asked for water. We never received it. We asked for water on at least 3 or 4 separate occasions before getting it as we were leaving. We also asked the hookah staff to come back and give us a second set of coals, as our original set was burning out. The staff never returned. Service was lacking on all accounts. Would return only for the good music and vibes overall.

Ummm.. the food came out cold. My sister ordered the cinnamon rolls. They came out burned. My mom's was cold. I had the breakfast burger that was decent. Our waiter was sweet but the food is not good. You'll be better off cooking at home honestly.

I enjoyed my Saturday evening at prospect park. My large party of 14 people had to meet a minimum of $500 and that was easy to do. The decor was cute and the dj was lit. My catfish and shrimp platter was delicious! The waiter was quick and handled our large party well!

We were visiting Houston and came up on this location. The food and drinks were good as well as the music. I'd definitely return.

The food, service, and ambiance were terrible. I've been twice and every time my server was terrible and entitled. I understand the importance of tipping and do my best. With that being said, for how awful the wait time is, mediocre food, and the rude servers I just would be disrespecting myself.

Go for the bar and music, not for the food or service. They have hookah you can order also. It was a cool vibe t go out without going to a club with bottles and tables.

Wings are great the service is horrible and the music is too loud! You should not have to scream to have a conversation with the people right next to you or directly across from you!

Was recommended to visit for nightlife vibe. We parked in the immediate parking lot when pulling up. Guys are there to guide you and accept payment but you park yourself. You are checked by law enforcement bf entering. I spoke with the girl at the front who asked how many and proceeded to say she had no tables available and honestly I couldn't hear anything else she said after that. I asked her to repeat it but she ignored and assisted the people behind me. Rude AF. I went to the chick beside her and asked her what was the process as she said there are no tables and she said "Girl, I have a table, follow me" Weird right?! Well thanks miss lady. She shied us to the table and our waitress came shortly after. We browsed the menu and ordered drinks. Scan the code on the table to order hookah. They come to your table, confirm and pay. Hookah came out shortly after. Our waitress was very attentive. She came by constantly to check on us. We eventually ordered some food. Which came out pretty fast. I ordered egg rolls and hubs shrimp. One egg-roll was better than the other. Fries were good. I would suggest stopping by if in the area. Cool hang out spot.

Food was good and the drinks but, it was chaotic and the service was not good. The hostess out front was rude, don't bother making a reservation on a busy day- they don't observe them unless you made a reservation for a big party. Some people just ended up grabbing a table that opened up next, after waiting for a while. Our waitress didn't come back often, but had good menu recommendations. But again, the food was actually pretty good, and my partner really liked the hookah. Very loud and high energy but that part was cool, since it gives a brunch and sports bar vibe with all the tv's and the music was lit. All hip hop/rnb music from early 2000's to the present.

NettetheGreat was our favorite server for the Beyoncé Renaissance weekend! Great customer service and very pleasant! She gave us great recommendations and the food was Amazinggggg!!!! Definitely coming back! Had the fried Catfish and Shrimp! It was seasoned to perfection and I cook so it was amazing!!! Ambiance was a vibe and music was great!!! Music on beattt!!! The egg rolls were good too, especially the seafood rolls that Nette recommended!!!

My husband wanted to try their HRW menu for lunch on a Tuesday. The place was pretty empty and the staff was friendly and attentive. In short, the food was okay. The salmon with mashed potatoes and one asparagus was saved by the tasty creamy sauce. Liked that the birria tacos were packed with a good amount of meat and the consome was tasty. Other than that, the other dishes we had were mediocre.

We housed an outstanding time at Prospect Park. The chicken was hot and well seasoned. The associate was friendly and kept up well attended. The music was at a grand volume. Our seating was perfect.

Stopped in for a drink it was delicious and extremely huge me and my friend shared each drink was like $18/$19 or more but they were huge.

First.... I would never in my life eat here ever again been sitting at the table for 37 mins we had to get someone to see who was our server then we waited another 15 mins before we even got waters trust me if we didn't pay to park we would've been left my friends and I are all waitresses so we know the business they put automatic 20 percent gratuity on all checks so of course the service sucks because they already know they will get a tip...I would love to tip on my service and it was trash this was our first and last time eating here!!! Our waitress came to our table my name is and are y'all ready to order not explaining the menu or if this yall first time coming here they just want you to order and pay y'all money I wish I could give this place a 0 rating over all the food was ok

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the 2 flat wings. They were hard as if they'd been cooked and left out just to be placed on a plate . Other than that, the vibes were great! Service was well. Music was chilled !

I am not pleased with the customer service. I went here on a Friday night and the hostess at the front were RUDE!!! Didn't want to seat me and my friend. Asked several time all we got was attitude and eye roll. The drink I had was good the bartenders was cool but those hostess ew, disgusted by their attitudes!

I visited Prospect Park today, 3/2/2024 at approximately 3pm. the lively dancing and unconcerned hostess said that she couldn't seat a party of 2 because she "may" have some reservations at 4pm. Meanwhile, it's 4pm and many empty tables. I even told her I only wanted to eat and grab a hookah. Also let her know that Im not staying long due to prior obligations. My party and I sat at the bar and ate, then left quickly. Who turns down business for business that may or not be coming? I feel she could have at least checked her reservation list and worked accordingly. Food was great, but my experience with that hostess was not the best experience. For that reason alone, I'd likely not visit Prospect Park again. That hostess was the worse!

Great atmosphere great happy hour and the food is ok service was great definitely a vibe/club.

This service here was awful. I decided to give this place a try while me and a friend was in town and let me just say we will not be returning. Our food was brought out to us by someone and it was cold and the portions was enough for a child to eat. Waited around for our server for over 25 minutes before she returned to our table to check on us, we had to stop a manager in order for him to get our server so that we could pay out and leave.

USMC veteran , This place has good food but the customer service and hospitality is absolutely trash I am surprised at how the servers operate there absolutely rude and tacky you place a reserve sign in the middle of my table in the middle of my date it's disrespectful and flat out rude and the fact you take gratuity out with that kind of service is wild absolutely not coming back here

The waitress we had was unprofessional and had us waiting an hour and some for our food and we ordered a second drink and never got it people came in after us and got in and out and after we asked for the manager the manager gave us $1 off the bill, she also had a nasty attitude.. the waitress then chats w the rest of the staff who starts making faces at us even tho we were the ones receiving terrible service this was around 2pm on a Friday not too busy at all...

The server sat in the booth next to us and had us waitin while she chill. Then she came the didn't have anything we wanted to order. So I order a drink. She brought me God knows what cause it wasn't what I order. The. When I ask her what it was she ask me what it is. Ain't no way she said that. Then the manager the. Says he can't take it off the bill cause I drank it. Wtf I tasted it to see if I could figure out what it is. Then he walks off as if he didn't care. Food was nasty they charge me for sauce that was already suppose to be on there. DONT GO PEOPLE DONT GO

If I can give 0 starts I would. I had made a reservation with hope for fast seating fast service. In which our hostess did but we waited 15 min to get served. All the tables around us were being served except us. In which it was not busy at all! That's what made it even more frustrating because the servers were looking at us like it was on purpose. In which made me glad I didn't spend a dime this establishment.

Thursday 4:45 pm I thought they opened at 4, but they obviously are open before then (happy hour 11-4- more there is an additional happy hour from 4-8, with separate items) Anyway, PARKING IS Self-park and free before 6. After 6, they put up cones and you pay $20 for valet. I asked the guy as I was leaving if I were to come right now could I park free, myself. He said there was only valet. Call to confirm before you go. Things change. Anyway there is a McDonald's right next door and a Burger King across the street. What you do with that information is your business- although I'm sure there is some kind of tow sign somewhere. Parking, even at 4:30 was full. I squoze- yes squoze- into a park behind the building right beside a pole. Vibe : this was my kind of music. 90s r&b. Hookah available Dog friendly patio- I saw a service dog, so it may or may not be open for all dogs. I got seafood eggrolls (4) for like $12? The bar tender made sure to let me know that happy hour for those were over but price wasn't a concern. I still appreciated her letting me know. I heard from another patron that the food wasn't all that- the vibes, apps, and drinks were okay hay this love was about, so I didn't order a meal. Drinks I got the skittles drink on the rocks ($14, smaller glass) From the happy hour menu -Frozen Liquid Mary ($5) smaller cups -Frozen Cognac Dream ($5) I'm not buzzed. So the drinks are moreso for light conversation. The skittles one was decent. Ciroc is in it. Drinks could've been stronger. Overall, I would come back for apps and drinks and vibes. BEfore SIx. I would definitely NOT pay $20 to park for this experience.

I visited this establishment during a Deltas founders day celebration and it was amazing. Prospect Park has a lot of room and I believe it's designed and decorated well. The food is amazing, I ordered the $70 Wings and Things. The Hot Lemon Pepper and The Crown Royal BBQ Sauce stole the show. Then, I tried their egg rolls and it was mind blowing especially the crab egg roll. The Vibe was nice but the DJ wasn't good at all and that's the reason for a four star rating. I would definitely be back. P.S. I would've paid more for the wings and things platter. It was that good and that much food
