Great menu, great food, and great service! We really enjoyed our visit to Prost. The bruschetta was absolutely delicious, and the espresso martini was perfection. My only critique is that the patio was mostly empty, yet we were seated at the smallest two-top tucked against the window while several larger four-top tables were open. It felt a little cramped for the two of us. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back—next time I’ll just ask for a bigger table. 😊

My wife ordered the Prost Hot Chocolate with toasted marshmallows, and she was obsessed with it. For food, we tried the Farmhouse Cheese Charcuterie and the Whipped Honey Ricotta appetizer. Everything was delicious. The cheeses were phenomenal, the whipped ricotta was rich and smooth, and the fresh bread that came with it tied everything together beautifully. We’ll absolutely be returning next time we’re in the area. The charcuterie options are incredible, and the appetizers and mains all looked amazing. We ordered the French Dip sandwich, French onion, Honey Ricotta app, Bruschetta, whitefish spread, ham and brie sandwich. All were absolutely amazing! This is likely the best restaurant in the whole area. Aly was the best server we could ask for! She was really attentive, and helped split the French dip and ham and brie sandwiches without even us asking! It made splitting family style so much easier. Thank a ton Aly and Prost staff for the great birthday dinner! We'll be sure to be back :)

Finally got to go out for a nice lunch after months of not being able to due to unforseen circumstances. Prost as per usual did not disappoint! It has always been one of our favorite places to go and today further solidified why. Today we dined at the frankenmuth location for brunch and our server Nate was fantastic! He was very personable, had answers for questions I had and if he didnt he went and found out. On top of that the food was AMAZING! I ordered the brunch burger and I can say its by far the best burger I have had in a long time. My fiancé got the chorizo bowl and absolutely loved it. We did also order cinnamon rolls which looked phenomenal and we will deff be having as a late night snack. Needless to say it was overall a great experience and we will continue to come back for more. ♥️

This was an amazing experience, our server was wonderful we are a family of 3 and it was pretty reasonable for the service we got. My daughter got the gnocchi with a tomato sauce, my husband and I split the wedge salad and the pork chop that was served with mushroom risotto. For our appetisers we got the Bavarian pretzel with an out of this world beer cheese and honey mustard, we also got the bacon water chestnuts. For drinks my daughter got a lavender Italian soda, I had a lavender cocktail, and my husband had a smoked old fashion. This is by far the best place to eat in frankenmuth I would 100% recommend.

If I could given them a 10, I would! The Bloody Mary was a special for 5 bucks! Best I’ve ever had. The Mushroom Risotto was OFF THE HOOK! Seriously better than a fine Italian restaurant! The Bacon wrapped water chestnuts were Huge & delicious too we both got the Red Blend wine from Italy ; Marcoto Duo which was perfect smooth & dry with a great finish. To top things off we mentioned we just had a new grandchild born, to our surprise here came a free fudge dessert, with champagne ABD a card signed by all the staff!! Do not pass this place up for a Chicken dinner… you will be glad you came & we will be back for sure!!

Excellent experience. The food was creative and exceptionally good. Portion sizing was perfect. Atmosphere was great and the server was as good as it gets. I’d come back here over and over before I went anywhere else in this town.

Very good choices to create your own Charcuterie Board or choose one already prepared. Great food, beer and wine choices. The wines on tap were surprising Good! Wednesday is half price bottle on the menu. Bartender and servers are personable and knowledgeable. Fun time!

Prost Wine Bar has such an amazing vibe. The atmosphere is warm, classy, and comfortable--literally the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel relaxed. The lighting and music make it perfect for a chill night out or a date. The bread and oil were really good--fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The menu selection was decent, but nothing super exciting. There were options, but it didn't feel like anything stood out or made you think, "I have to come back just for this." And the French onion soup definitely missed the mark. Hardly any cheese, the broth tasted watery, and it just wasn't hitting like French onion soup should. On top of that, there wasn't any salt on the table, so I had to ask for some, which was honestly a little embarrassing. The service was friendly and the vibe was great, which helped balance things out. Overall, Prost has a really good atmosphere and solid drinks, but the food--especially the French onion soup--could use some improvement.

While visiting friends in Detroit we decided to venture out to Frankenmuth for the day! Stopped by Prost and were happily surprised it was happy hour!! How can one say no to a $6 sangria!? I got their turkey club with a lemon vinaigrette, 10/10! We also got a kids board, gotta start them young! Our 16 month old loved it!! I enjoyed the jam with bread!! The venue is cute, has a great wine and liquor selection and our server was very nice!! I do wish either one of their bathrooms had a changing table! The dresser in one of them got the job done!

If your looking for something away from the Bavarian traditional themes, then find your way to Prost. Prost is an upscale, but not pretentious venue, with a trendy, lively atmosphere. You will definitely need reservations in advance, or expect a significant wait time. They offer a very diverse menu offering everything from Charcuterie Boards, to Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, and Pasta entrees. Great craft cocktails, and nice selection of wines. My wife had the Kale Salad and Spiced Cherry Salad with roasted almonds and goat cheese, she added Bacon and a poppy seed vinaigrette. It was very flavorful, fresh ingredients. I had the prime rib French dip with Caramelized onion, provolone and mushrooms. Generous portion of prime rib, on a crusty baguette. Flavor was exceptionally good. We have been here multiple times, and food and service have always been good and consistent. Definitely would recommend Prost as an good option.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday based upon the excellent reviews from my fellow Yelpsters. We were seated immediately on the patio. After looking at the menu, we decided that we wanted more than just a charcuterie snack, so we both opted for a handheld. My GF went with the Smashburger ($19). She said it was a little bit SMALL for the money, but TASTY and properly cooked. My French Dip ($23 +$1 for mushrooms) was STACKED with TENDER, JUICY, SUCCULENT Prime Rid, Cheese and LOTS of mushrooms. Hey! When in Frankenmuth, WHY PAY LESS? The Onion Soup for the dip was FLAVORFUL and not too salty. Our waiter had recommended the Dip and I was glad I chose it. Service was PROMPT & COURTEOUS. Restroom was clean and odorless. It was a pleasant, casual lunch on a cool Fall day in Frankenmuth.

The drink menu is superb, hand crafted cocktails made with love and care, the wine selection is great for any palette and the food - their culinary vision is amazing! Well done!

Food was amazing. They have a lot of options for charcuterie board! Wine was great, but it did get really hot due to the weather. Service was friendly, a little bit slow but not bad. Maybe it felt like it was slow because we were sweating outside. They have indoor seating too and a bar area. Prices were super affordable especially for the wine. If you're gluten free this is a gluten friendly place! So many options and I was amazed for how many options they had!!

We stopped in Frankenmuth to go to the brewery but it was closed. It was actually a lucky break, because Prost was a real find. We split a cheese board and pretzels -- the pretzels were fine but the charcuterie board was fantastic. The cheeses were a nice variety of styles and there were great accouterments to complement them. We had a great waiter who was willing to answer questions. We enjoyed relaxing with our wine and waiting for the rain to let up. Prices were on the high side but that wasn't surprising in such a touristy place.

I consider this a gem in the area. We keep visiting when in town. Decent Wine and Cocktails. Charcuterie we can select and food that isn't Fried Chicken. The patio is great and the atmosphere in general is as well. Since my last visit, I am changing my rating. Last time I only got the charcuterie here and trying to order off the menu tonight was more difficult than I anticipated. Based on the fact that they claim to be able to work with allergies. When I've called theu say everything is made to order. Which isn't true in respect to everything being pre-prepped. It isn't up to par with most places these days when it comes to being up to date on allergies. Usually everywhere I go I can at least get Salmon or a Hamburger patty.. Chicken sometimes is marinated although most places have a few pieces for the next day that aren't marinated yet. Usually I can get a potato, fries etc... that wasn't the case eitherl. The potato wedges are frozen in a bag and then they season them . The Salmon and Burgers are seasoned ahead. Never heard of a burger patty being seasoned that many hours ahead seeing as though it usually draws the moisture out and makes things drier. Thankfully I was able to get a turkey sandwich. Our waiter was very accommodating and helpful checking with kitchen. As much as I love coming here it is definitely a challeng. I did inquire as to whether I could call ahead which is an option. It seems there are a lot of hoops to do that, emailing several different areas within the company, I am still confused on who to contact. However, sometimes you don't always know ahead of time. It would be great if they had more options available for people who have allergies as a lot of us do these days.

Prost is an excellent lunch, dinner or just drinks option in frankenmuth if fried chicken is not your thing. Definitely make sure you have a reservation if you are planning to visit during the holiday season. Our experience at Prost was great, we were seated quickly. We started with the meatball appetizer, good portion size. About 4 meatballs and 4 slices of fresh warm bread. I would definitely order again. Our entrees included the chicken wrap, ham and cheese sandwich and the chopped salad. Very large portions. I think we could have shared a wrap or sandwich. Fresh, hot and flavorful. I paired my sandwich with the Detroit 75 cocktail, they did not short me on alcohol. The cocktail is a little on the sweet side if that is your thing. I need to figure out how to make my own at home. We'll be back next season! Thanks!!!

Loved it so much, we came back for lunch the next day. Had the best bruschetta ever. It was the right amount of balsamic, tomatoes, onions and garlic. I was in heaven and ate the whole thing myself. Because that was so good, decided to press my luck with dessert. Had the crème brûlée and wasn't disappointed. It was creamy & rich so decadent. The next day came back for lunch. They gladly obliged my request of the kids charcuterie. Loved the jam, cheese, pickles and crackers. The jam was tangy and sweet. Service was impeccable.

Absolutely loved this place. I was in town for a conference at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. This was a short walk down Main Street. It books up fast so I would make a reservation if you want a table and know you're going in advance. I walked in with no reservation and luckily there were 2 seats open at the bar. They have an outdoor patio with lots of seating also. The bartender staff was so attentive and friendly. I went on a Wednesday which was half off bottles night so we decided to split a bottle of red. We ordered the classic Prost charcuterie board and then the pretzels with cheese and mustard. The board was one of my all time favorites - we completely cleared it which was rare. They ensured to provide a good spread of crackers in bread to match the amount of soft and spreadable cheese. The meats were along the lines of prosciutto, sausage, and thin spicy pepperoni. They pointed out to us which items were local to MI and which were from Italy or France. Enjoyed a relaxing evening there and would definitely go back! They also had a full dinner menu with full size entrees.

Well, it means "Cheers" and its frequently heard in a toast. So, it's very appropriate that this terrific Wine Bar and Charcuterie is named accordingly. We stopped in Frankenmuth on our drive from St. Ignace to Plymouth and had a fantastic lunch. I ordered the Local German Heritage Charcuterie platter, which was loaded with German delicacies. What kind of delicacies you ask? Well, how about a heaping platter of Kern's Pistachio Jagdwurst, Braunschweiger, Summer Sausage, Willi's liver and bacon pâté, Butterkäse cheese, house made caraway seed and beer mustard, sauerkraut, and bread & butter pickles for $26. It was delicious - a real feast of European meats and cheeses and spreads and pickles and bread slices. What a treat. My wife ordered a Spicy Avocado BLT, served grilled with plenty of bacon, arugula, mozzarella, tomatoes, avocado garlic aioli and a spicy cherry pepper spread, served with a salad for $13. Our server, Julia, was pleasant and professional, and checked on us a few times. Our lunch ran $41.34, and it was money well spent.

This is located on the main strip. With parking scattered around. We found a spot that was close by. So it wasn't a horrible walk. This was our first time here and it was completely worth all the hype that we saw on yelp. The wait was about an hour long, but it was well worth it. for drinks, we had their coffee, their hot chocolate, their mint julep, and a glass of wine. All the drinks were very good. We end up getting a charcuterie board with three items which were all delicious. For entrées, we had the prime, ribs, dip, sandwich, the rigatoni, and the salad and soup. All of them were very, very good.The ambience was really nice. I would definitely recommend just coming in and taking in the views and looking around because it just felt good being there. I would highly recommend all of them and come back again.

Great food. Such a great staff. The menu is unique and changes seasonally. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Outdoor seating with heaters and blankets even in the winter! A gem for Frankenmuth!

We absolutely loved it here!! Came on a Friday night during peak Christmas season, so we had to wait an hour, which was absolutely fine! We ended up getting seated out on the heated patio, which was nice and toasty! Our waiter was over the top nice. Our food was absolutely delicious! Mmmm! We loved it here so much we almost came back the next day! My only complaint is that, for being a wine bar, there wasn't a very big selection of wine!

Walking into Prost, we did not receive the greeting we expected. The host walked over, our party said hello, but he did not say anything until he picked up the iPad, asked for a name, and ended up seating us regardless. Although it was a rocky start, our waitress Julia was absolutely lovely. Prost is very nice and comfortable inside, with seating available both inside and on the patio. The two cocktails we had were enjoyable, and I enjoyed their spin on an old fashioned. We loved the Bavarian pretzels that came with cheese and honey mustard; they were very fresh and absolutely recommended. I really loved the flatbread and would get it again hands down. The club and wrap were also refreshing and enjoyed by our party. Nothing we had was heavy or greasy, making our day in Frankenmuth enjoyable.

Do not go here for breakfast. Service was very good but the breakfast is no better than your hotel breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and bacon are the same as what you would get for free at your hotel. I ordered eggs over medium and they were so hard I could have used them for frisbees. The toast is their normal charcuterie board bread just toasted which becomes very hard and almost inedible. Coffee was nothing special.

The only place in Frankenmuth that stays open late 12am, so you know we had to come in for a night cap. A glass of wine ended up followed by some bites that were pretty good. This cozy restaurant definitely had wine bar feels. We sat at the bar and ordered the following: C H OPPE D W E D GE - ROMAINE, CRUMBLEDBLUE CHEESE, BACON, REDONION, CHERRY TOMATOES, HOUSEMADE BLUE CHEESEDRESSING.12 - a chopped wedge salad is always good, very tasty. G N OCC H I PO M O D O R O POTATOGNOCCHI, POMODOROSAUCE, FRESHMOZZARELLA, PARMIGIANOCHEESE, BASIL. 18 - Think i prefer it with pesto but decent. The bartender served us and was friendly. Parking is behind the building or street parking. Check it out if you're in the area!

Clean good food perfect service Nice atmosphere salad is amazing likes turkey sandwich

Went here with a couple of girl friends on a hot summer day! Cute patio and quick service. We started off with refreshing cocktails made with blueberries. For food we had the bruschetta which would have been better with a little more balsamic glaze. The lobster stuffed avocado salad was good. For pasta we tried the crab linguini which was so creamy, and the fettuccine. The quantities are for 1-2 people quite small.

Great location, delicious food and always great wine. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.

It would be easier to say what went wrong--NOTHING! Flawless service, incredible drinks, BOMBBBB FOOD, & the best vibe honestly. Not to mention, I had the best French onion soup of my life!!

Wine, beer and cheese oh my. Service is always prompt and friendly. My one dig is location is small and has a cramp feel, but having call ahead seating allows for visiting other places while waiting for our table.

Really lovely wine bar in Frankenmuth! Beautiful dining area, both inside & out, that felt lively & inviting. Thankful we were able to get a patio table today, despite not having a reservation. We had the perfect spot in the shade with our backs to a greenery wall. Our server, Cody, gave us a crash course on the menu, made some excellent recommendations & made the whole experience great! The cocktails are delicious, as were our menu choices (honey ricotta spread, stuffed mushrooms, paninis & the avocado lobster salad). Can't wait to go back again!

Our server was friendly and polite. He carded 2 out of 5 of us but would not serve one of out party who lost her license. I had a wine flight and the Chardonnay was my favorite but the red blends were good. It was called California Dreamin. One person in our party had house cab (tap) and did not like it. One had a special cocktail and the one with no I'd had a delicious mocktail.

Went for dinner last night- Great service. Great Atmosphere. We had the Prost Charcuterie board and it was perfect. Best board I've had in a long time. Highly Recommend!!!!!

Had a delightful lunch at this cute, small bar and restaurant in Frankenmuth. Table seating is handled well...tbey will text you when your table is ready. There's a free parking lot directly across the street. We ordered the warm brie cheese with bread. Very good!!! I ordered the Grilled Cheese Royale. Excellent sandwich!!! Tomato, bacon, mozzarella, provolone. So good!! And the potato chips...they come warm and slightly garlicky!!! Lordy they taste good!!! There's a full bar but we didn't partake of anything but water this time. The service was efficient and friendly!!

I will be back!! The place is beautiful, service is top notch, delish charcuterie platters! The cannolis are yummy!!

Talk about an awesome option, in the sea of beer that is Frankenmuth! We loved the service, the European vibe, and the great food. While we normally are suspicious of focaccia, we LOVED Prost's, served with some extremely flavorful and pungent olive oil for dipping. And the 'Spanish Mezclar' charcuterie board took me right back to Spain. I definitely recommend Prost if you need a break from the lederhosen.

Stitch visited Prost! in Bay City, Michigan and had a fancy-fancy food adventure! He built his own charcuterie board with tasty meats, cheeses, and fun little extras--so many flavors, Stitch's tongue did a happy dance. He also tried the chicken parm, which was good, but the real star was the smoked 576 cocktail--tasted a bit like an old fashioned, smoky and strong, but Stitch liked it! Prices were a bit high for Bay City, but the portions were generous. Stitch recommends skipping the entrees and getting a few charcuterie boards to share with friends--snacky, fun, and full of flavor!

The ambiance of Prost was absolutely perfect with beautiful decor and mood lighting. The service was excellent and the food tasted delicious (I got the baked rigatoni)!! Would definitely recommend

Stumbled upon this gem while visiting Frankenmuth and had the best charcuterie board ever! We decided to build our own charcuterie board and share a bottle of Riesling that was half off for happy hour. One of my friends is vegetarian and they were able to accommodate by making sure the meat items didn't touch the other cheese. The French herb cheese was my absolute favorite! A perfect little spot for a quick bite and drinks with great company!

Two friends and I shared lunch here. We had excellent service with helpful suggestions. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The most delicious wine and charcuterie. We also had the most delicious Brie appetizer. The best fish spread I think I've ever had! So creamy and delicious.

We ate here twice during our stay in Frankenmuth and both times the food was excellent. Everything we tried was delicious and satisfying. Both nights were busy but they were able to squeeze us in each night. The server on the second night was particularly great, even making my friend a mocktail that they discontinued. :) Try the coat cheese and fig bruschetta, or be adventurous and create your own charcuterie board. No matter what you go with, you won't be disappointed.

I stopped in for lunch. The service was exceptional. And the food amazing. I had the bruschetta for an appetizer and for my main I had the lemon garlic linguine. It was delicious. A very cool spot. Very inviting.

Gluten free and dairy light eater. With yelp and local recommendations my friend and I ended up walking to Prost. We were seated in the outdoor area. With the heaters and blankets in the enclosed area it was cozy. Our wait staff was helpful. They suggested good cocktails. Helped me plan my meal and gave us options. I ordered a couple cocktails and my friend ordered one. They were really good. Well made and were balanced drinks. They do not have a separate gluten free menu but the waiter knew what was typically gf and asked for any other items I was interested in. I ordered the meatballs with gf bread. They were delicious. I was happy they were gf. The Parmesan on the plate was minimal. I do not know if the meatballs had additional dairy in them. My friend got the margarita pizza. She said it was filling and really tasty. Overall this was a wonderful place for a little girls night out. Or a date night. Or just to spoil yourself.

Amazing spot! The atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was mouth watering! We can't wait to go back! If I had to find any negatives, I would say: a bigger bar and fine tune your staged seating - it doesn't work as intended. We will be back.

This place as a very upscale, and cozy vibe to it. The three different seating sections give it a very unique experience depending on where you sit, ive sat in all 3, and i very much enjoy them all. I have been there around 5-7 times, and I've never once had a bad experience. The food is always very fresh, and tastes made from scratch. The servers are very attentive, and friendly. I drive from metro Detroit just for a date night, or stop on my way up north. 13/10 worth a visit

Nice casual place to stop for a snack or lunch in the middle of Frankenmuth. The outdoor dining area is rustic and overlooked Main Street. The charcuterie trays are varied with a wide selection to build your own tray from. Service was prompt and attentive and our wine glass was never empty (until the bottle ran out) we will definitely return to Prost when in the area.

I always visit Frankenmuth around the holidays and always walk by this cute restaurant but have never stopped in. I was luckily enough to go this year for my birthday and wow! I loved it. It's every wine drinker and charcuterie eaters dream. They have a huge selection of wines, some are Michigan but they have a huge variety! I got the Michigan flight and then a glass of tap chardonnay. We ordered the build your own charcuterie board and we chose the 6 option board. Our server was really friendly and asked if we needed any help with the menu. We just kind of guessed in meats and cheeses but everything paired really well! Everything was reasonably priced and of course the Michigan flight was delicious! My only complaint I would mention is the meat and cheese was pretty room temperature which can be normal for these kinds of dishes but I personally prefer it to be chilled...overall I loved the place and it's a great stop in Frankenmuth!

Prost was my favorite restaurant from our weekend in Frakenmuth. The food was amazing, our server was awesome, and the atmosphere was fun and decorated beautifully. We had some wine and tried several appetizers. They have a great selection of drinks and food, including vegetarian options. Try Prost if you're in Frakenmuth, it's a nice change from the mainstream restaurants. They take reservations, highly suggest if you're going on the weekend.

This place is absolutely incredible. During the Christmas months, I'd say it's pretty normal to wait around 1-2hours for a table so prepare for that! The food is so so good, the cheese board and pretzels were delicious. Drinks were good as well. Super cute and cozy interior, perfectly decorated for the Holidays! It's a must try if you're heading to Frankenmuth!

The food here was top notch. On par with high end dining in Chicago or either coast. Innovate cuisine as well as old favorites like a well executed BLT. The service was spot on and the interior space is comfortable, appropriately lit, and felt fresh. I'm excited to return.

This place is a vibe! My family sat on the patio and enjoyed house recommended charcuterie, pretzels with cheese for the kids, and a crisp prosecco for myself. I'm GF and they were ready with GF toasts. Everything was delicious! 10/10 recommend!
