"Open for: DinnerPrice range: $$$$In 2024, chef Aaron Bender returned to his roots at Provision, located on the second floor of the industrial Ironworks Hotel. Bender finds depth in dishes like a 14-ounce rib-eye. The portion of crab cake feels generous on a bed of sliced asparagus, corn, and sauteed onion with a well-balanced mustard aioli. The charred romaine bounces on the palate with contrasting chunks of lardon and slivered anchovy. And rotating amuse bouches gives every meal a unique touch. Know before you go: If you come for drinks, sit outside by the fire pit." - Brian Garrido

Had a reservation for four and we all did the chefs tasting menu with the wine accompaniment. All the courses were delicious and seemed to get better and better as the dinner went on. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The only thing is I wish they would tell us more about the wine pairings and why they were chosen for each course. Overall a fantastic experience.

I went to the restaurant by myself because I had a $50 gift card. I ended up paying $95 in total (including the tip). So, it’s a very expensive restaurant. The food tasted great, I had a lamb rack. But the portion is just too small, hence 3 stars. And am not a big eater either. For a meal that cost $68, I would expect a bigger portion and maybe some leftover. But nope, I finished it and didn’t feel full. I have been to fine dining before. Never had this issue. The staff was nice and accommodating and the atmosphere is relaxing especially the patio. The fire is amazing.

Google
I had a great dining experience at Provision for their Devour Indy menu. From the food to the service, everything was amazing. I chose the clam chowder to start which was rich, creamy and flavorful. For the main course I went with the short rib and scallop. The short rib was fork-tender and paired beautifully with the seared scallop which was cooked to perfection. The English pea and carrot risotto was creamy and complemented the dish’s richness and the Fresno chili jam added a subtle heat. The Luxardo cherry demi-glace tied everything together with a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For dessert the orange chocolate tart was a perfect way to end the meal. The contrast of textures from the honey crispy rice to the silky caramel made each bite delightful. The orange-milk chocolate filling was smooth and indulgent and the dark chocolate glaze finished with sea salt brought out all the flavors beautifully. Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable. Our waiter Nick was very attentive throughout the meal even when the restaurant was busy. He was also knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. Provision excels in both food and hospitality. If you’re looking for a top-tier dining experience in Indianapolis, this is the place to go.

Google
It was a beautiful atmosphere, our waiter was nice, this was my first time. However the food is a no for me! Particularly because of two reasons. 1) the portion size 2) as a group none of us had a wow I’m coming back vibe. We spent over $2k and all of us were still hungry, no one left with a box. I have never left a fine dining restaurant still hungry with no buzz. I’m a foodie I look forward to the experience and indulging in great food. Although the taste was ok, the portion size was very small for the price. We had 3 drinks a piece and a few of us questioned did we have juice or cocktails. I’ve never seen such a thin piece of salmon. I looked at other’s photos and the portion size doesn’t seem consistent. We had a couple apps, the crab cake was ok. I also didn’t know animals were allowed inside, I didn’t see that on the website. I love potatoes, however the small dollop you see in the picture is all that was served. I just knew once I lifted the bone there would be more,NOPE! Sadly the only remark I had was, it was beautifully decorated!!

Google
Very impressed with our meal/ dining at Provision. The restaurant connects directly to the Ironworks hotel which was great. The atmosphere was very nice for a night out with your spouse. But obviously the most important part is the food itself. Which they did a fantastic job. I often find myself cooking a better steak at home and usually skeptical of “high end restaurants”, however Provision makes a fantastic steak, and the sides/ apps were just as good. Also have to compliment the waiter and staff. Extremely respectful and outgoing. Will recommend to all our friends and definitely be back in the future.

Google
It was good, yet what I chose from the menu seemed to me nothing extraordinary. The drink was good, and the salad was tasty but in very small portions considering the price. I didn't come back to the restaurant exactly because of this. The service was ok.

Google
My friends and I wanted to go all out and try a Chef's Tasting Menu, and this was the place we landed. So this was a different and unique restaurant experience I had never had before, and I am so thrilled with how it went here at Provision! Excellent food, wonderful services, premium wine pairings, and overall a glorious time. I was completely stuffed and satisfied by the end of the tasting menu- after the cheese, pasta, scallop, steak, lamb, dessert, and all the wines. Thank you Provision, for taking care of me and my crew last Thursday night!

Google
I went to Provision and I could go again, it has an interesting proposal of food. We started with a mezcal drink "by the invitation" although I love mezcal it wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad either. We ordered an ancient salad, salty and sweet, very good by the way! And I ordered a main dish of scallop with gnocci which was ok, the gnocci had no flavor but the scallop did (I wouldn't order it again) we also ordered a burger which was very delicious! 100% recommended, this restaurant is a little bit pricey for some of their main dishes (I recommend you check portion sizes) and the service was very nice, the waitress served us 10/10.

Yelp
Good food Good service Great value and assorted menu Great experience Would certainly do it again

Yelp
We went here on a whim for the Veterans Day discount that the Cunningham Restaurant Group offered. First thing I'd like to mention was the service, it was impeccable. Our waitress helped with cocktail recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, and even suggested pairings with each dish. All of the staff were attentive with refills and keeping your table clean. Secondly, the food was good, but could have been better. We tried the beet mousse, complimentary from the chef, which was delectable. Next we ordered a mushroom puff pastry appetizer which melted in your mouth! I could've eaten so many of those. For my entree I got the Chilean sea bass. I wasn't crazy about it and I've had better, but I wasn't expecting much not being in a coastal state. My husband ordered the lamb and wasn't necessarily impressed either. The dessert was meh at best but I am biased because I don't like chocolate tarts. My husband seemed to like it but wasn't very impressed. Overall we would go back for a fun date night and would love to try the chefs tasting menu! The service and ambiance was perfect for a cozy, yet fancy, night out.

Yelp
The ambiance at Provision feels high end--dim lighting that has a warm glow and part of the kitchen is exposed to the dining room. I tried the truffle corn soup and the pear salad. The soup had a lovely flavor but the beans in the succotash at the bottom of the bowl were a bit amiss with the texture of the soup. It was also very rich and I wish there had been a cup option instead of just the bowl. The Pear Salad was delicious. The pears were a nice texture, firm and not too grainy. They had a natural sweetness that was complimented by the fig jam and mascarpone. I wish there had been more arugula to balance the sweetness of the rest of the dish.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting Provision. We went on a Friday night at 5:30 to celebrate my husband's birthday! Our waitress was friendly and gave us a "tour" of the menu. We ultimately ordered a couple of appetizers, salad, entrees, and sides. Everything for the most part was delicious except the entrees which is why my rating is 3 stars. Although the meat of our entrees were cooked well, the sides/veggies they were sitting on were overly salty. Salty to a point that we were both put off and couldn't enjoy our meal anymore because it was so overpowering. They did end up giving us new veggies but at that point it got to be busy (it's Friday!) so service started to get slower and we were about ready to leave (we'd been there almost 2 hours). I'd love to try it again, but with the prices and the saltiness of the entrees, it'll be a while. Share (appetizer) Wagyu dumpling - sweet and savory bite! I wouldn't say it was spicy but it was delicious. Charred shrimp - this was my favorite! I loved the curry emulsion and it paired well with the shrimp, avocado, and kimchi apple. The cocktail sauce wasn't necessary for me. Graze (Salad?) We ordered the pear salad. It was sweet and delicious! The sweetness took away the bitterness of the arugula. Entree Chicken - protein cooked well. Veggies too salty that it ruined the dish. Lamb rack - same as above! For the sides, we got the potato-bacon terrine & asparagus which we ended up taking home and eating. They were good.

Yelp
We went during Valentine's day weekend for the first time and we were really impressed by the space of the restaurant and the stunning decor! Our server was very helpful giving us the recommendation on popular food and drinks. Our favorite menu: King Crab Toast - addictingly delish and definitely a go to and so worth it; potato bacon terrain w/ romesco sauce - the sauce is so good in my opinion, i put it on my seabass and take off some of the red sweet sauce on top :)

Carolyn H.

Yelp
We came here for our valentines dinner the weekend before valentines due to other plans. They knew we were celebrating valentines early and brought us champagne to toast. The service was beyond amazing. The food was amazing also. The server did such a good job explaining the menu and everything as it was presented to us. I got the snapper and oh my goodness this dish was amazing. I will be dreaming about it until we come back. The inside was beautiful and such a vibe.

Rachel S.

Yelp
I highly recommend Provision for a celebratory occasion, date night, or simply a fancy night on the town. The dining experience is elevated while staying approachable with an array of dishes, a welcoming environment, and for the more adventurous folks - a rotating chef's tasting menu. One thing I appreciate is their menu is well-labeled with common allergens, which makes me happy for anyone that may have a limited diet! I was pregnant at the time of my visit, and my waitress was super helpful in helping me avoid any uncooked or rare meat which I wanted to avoid. And the cherry on top - a complimentary dessert helped add to our memorable anniversary dinner!

April C.

Yelp
First time visiting Provision and definitely not the last. Service was excellent and the food was spectacular. The ambiance was great. Industrial but classy. I had the special of the night. It was a filet with mushrooms and shrimp. So delicious. We had the Charred shrimp and bread basket for appetizers and a wedge that easily would have fed 2. For dessert, we had the Brown Butter Pie. The ice cream was my favorite part. So delicious.

Ronda W.

Yelp
We booked a 4:15pm dinner reservation for date night. We enjoyed great food and service with friendly service. The scallops were my favorite, the flavors complimented each other very well; the potato gnocchi was a great with them. The soup was full of flavor and the brussel sprouts had a unique taste. The wedge salad was okay, additional dressing would have been ideal. My husband enjoyed his steak however felt the presentation could have been elevated. Overall everything was really tasty, we will visit again. The restaurant is beautiful and the area is very nice with plenty of parking.

Quintella M.

Yelp
10/10 hands down a fantastic restaurant, the ambiance is chic, modern and romantic, they have indoor/outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly especially our server Ashely, she made great recommendations and was spot on with everything! We had the most amazing dessert everrrrr; the peanut butter bomb was the BOMB!! I wanted to lick the plate, the chicken with potatoes, lamb rack, and the truffle soup were all delicious! I definitely recommend them for dinner!!

Karley M.

Yelp
Knocked it out of the park. Loved the ambience , staff was friendly and food was unreal. It's on the pricier side but worth it if you're looking for a romantic evening or somewhere to celebrate with unique food and experience.

Courtney S.

Yelp
Came here from out of town for my birthday dinner with some of our friends we haven't seen in far too long and had a wonderful evening. It was a perfect November night to spend on the rooftop terrace and the heaters and the fire table made it a lovely ambiance to catch up and enjoy a great meal. We had a smattering of items across the menu as well as sides and starters and everything was exceptional. A lovely special night spot!

Yelp
I am a huge CRG fan so when I heard a new restaurant was opening I couldn't wait to try it! Let me start off by saying that even though I went in with high expectations, Provision did not disappoint.! Provision is located in the Iron Works district and has a beautiful ambiance. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, even though it was a busy Friday night. The drinks and food were incredible! I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Naomi E.

Yelp
Provisions is a beautiful restaurant located at the Ironworks area North of Indy. When you enter you will go up a flight of stairs to get to the hostess counter. We had made reservations and were seated right away. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors as well as a big bar. We ordered the Crab Cake and King Crab Toast, both were very good, the crab cake mainly had crab chunks and not too much filling which is how a crab cake should be. For our entrees we had the Prime Ribeye and Seabass. Everything was really amazing. Our server was so nice and attentive and really made us feel welcomed. This is a great place to celebrate any special occasion. I will definitely be back.

Imani W.

Yelp
First time going to Provision! Parking was easy. The area can be busy on certain days but there aren plenty of spaces! I was really happy to see how classy it looked inside! The open concept to the kitchen was really pretty! The large windows brought in such good light! The food was very good! My bucatini had lots of flavor and the burger was prepared well! Presentation was great and they were not stingy on the servings! I thought it was very sweet to have a small taste of something we didn't order on behalf of the chef! Those small things make for a great experience! Our waitress was very kind as well! We would definitely come back! I for sure want to try the sea bass!

Bryndon P.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow!!! The food is Amazing. Literally a flawless meal. The flavor profiles and combinations of flavors were some of the best I've ever had. I shouldn't really be surprised since it's a Cunningham Restaurant Group establishment after all. But they had plenty of great options for my wife with food allergies, and the food was phenomenal! The decor is stylish and classy but comfortable. The restaurant is high class without being snobby or stuffy. It's an incredible place to take someone for a special occasion or just a time where you want to treat yourself. I need to make a special mention of Janie our server, was on point with everything we needed, but never intrusive. She had a calm and courteous demeanor, and made us feel so welcomed. It was a great celebration for my friends son's birthday, and I can't think of a better place for him to celebrate turning 18 than Provision. Treat yourself and make an appointment as soon as you can.

Christie L.

Yelp
Totally going to be honest here! Hubby and I had just finished painting and working on our home and showered, threw on some jeans and went to find a place to eat. We saw people sitting out on the patio upstairs and thought, that looks nice! We get up the stairs to the host stand and realize that we are not dressed for this place at all! We mention that and the staff started telling us no one cared, you are going to have a great meal come with us. We get put in a small table overlooking the parking area and main street and it feels wonderful. The breeze is coming through and we are in heaven. The waiter comes up and we are again feeling a little embarrassed of our clothing choice and the waiter makes us feel so at home! Literally we were laughing and having a great time. Customer service was wonderful. We are looking at the menu and realize that they have a tasting menu and that you can add wine to it! So for over $100 (cannot remember what it ended up being with the wine added) we had the best meal! Our waiter would bring out the tasting items, explain them, and then pair them with the wine. It was a great evening of sitting outside and tasting so many new flavors! I would definitely suggest this place and I hear they change the tasting menu!!! We did spend some money that night, but it was well worth it! The regular menu looked amazing too and not as expensive, so anyone is welcome (even in jeans and a t-shirt) and there are items to fit all budgets.

Yelp
Every time I am in Indy I have to stop by Provision. These pictures are from two different visits in one week. The burger, pictured, was super flavorful and filling. I really liked the English muffins as the bun. Not pictured is the king crab toast which I absolutely devour each time it hits the table. It's probably one of my favorite meals ever. I typically sit at the bar, but regardless of dining room vs. bar top, the service is always great!

Lee S.

Yelp
Our first visit to this Cunningham Group eatery. A very uniquely appointed fine dining experience with a great selection. We ordered from the 'Devour Indy' menu. A dinner salad of greens, berries & goat cheese accents was very nice. The Short Rib/Scallop combo was amazing. Rich meaty short rib literally melted in my mouth. The scallop was topped with a mildly spiced tomato/onion relish that complimented the perfectly seared medallion. The accompanying risotto was a good pairing. Tami's 6oz filet was perfect as well served with a sauté of peppers and creamy mashed potatoes. Now, the desserts: Basque cheesecake was good - unique but not awe inspiring. The Orange-Chocolate tart was mouth wateringly OMG awesome. Service from Ashley was perfect - efficient and pleasant but not hovering.

Arlean J.

Yelp
We loved Provision. The ambiance was perfect for date night and the service was pretty stellar. The crab cakes were amazing, probably the best I ever had. We also ordered the snapper and sea bass. I wasn't a huge fan of the tomato sauce as it overpowers the fish. I asked for it on the side but the kitchen put it on top of the fish anyway. The cocktails were delicious and I'd highly recommend the Sakura sunset.

Alexa R.

Yelp
An excellent special occasion restaurant, Provision has everything you can want - a great menu, thoughtful staff, and upscale chic ambiance. I ordered the Waygu Dumplings as my appetizer and the Scallops with Gnocchi as my main course, both were delicious. The sauce on the dumplings added the perfect zing to the Waygu beef and I loved how the gnocchi was cooked to complement the scallops, which were also cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for your next night out!

Makaelah S.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Provision to celebrate our anniversary. It was a fantastic experience! The staff was extremely helpful with dietary restrictions and made accommodations as needed for us! We were early for our reservation and they sat us immediately, which we also appreciated! We sat outside and it started to rain, so they quickly moved us to a table under the canopy! We enjoyed and time and the food and we would definitely go back to try more dishes!

Victoria F.

Yelp
The service and the view were wonderful. The food - not so much. At least Devour Menu left me pretty disappointed. Short ribs were extremely fatty and not well prepared. We pointed it out to the waiter, but didn't insist on a refund. He offered to bring another entree, but we didn't want to wait. Two drinks and two meals with bread cost us $180. Not worth half of it.

Molly P.

Yelp
Provision has quickly become one of our go to restaurants for celebrating various occasions. The service was excellent (very attentive)and food delicious. We went during devour and enjoyed a fabulous three course menu including truffle corn soup, short rib and scallop entree and orange chocolate tarts for desert. My husband did not order off the devour menu but greatly enjoyed his ribeye. The blackberry ginger spritz was the most delicious mocktail as well. We will definitely continue to return!

Beth O.

Yelp
Been many times over the years, expected more. The acoustics were very loud, the server was great, and to no fault of her own it took forever to get our entrée and then our dessert. by the way, the orange chocolate torte has zero orange taste to it. It is a rice crispy treat with chocolate and on top... Again, no orange. only a couple of bottles of wine under $100. As mentioned previously, we've been there many times, but likely will not go again. We prefer other Cunningham restaurants.

Ann L.

Yelp
I had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night with some colleagues, and can't believe I hadn't been to Provision before now. I've driven by the Ironworks so many times, but didn't realize there was such an amazing restaurant tucked around the back. Provision is on the second floor, up a flight of metal stairs, but they do have an elevator nearby as well. We were seated at a great table, next to the window, and, while we were warned by a number of other colleagues that the noise level can make conversation challenging at times, we found the noise level was not a problem at all even though they were definitely full. The atmosphere is modern and upscale. The cocktails all looked amazing. I decided on the Sage Advice, and it was excellent. They are using high quality spirits and other ingredients in even the more moderately priced selections in the $15 range. They do have pricier cocktails as well along with some incredibly high-end wines, but, again have some really nice options in the $15/glass range. We had a basket of assorted bread to start off along with salads. I really enjoyed the beet salad. The flavors of all the ingredients went so well together and I loved that they included both red and golden beets. I had the scallops for my entree and it was delicious. I never would have thought to pair gnocchi and scallops, but the textures and flavors went really nicely together. The raisins added a touch of sweetness and really worked with the dish - again, I never would have thought to add raisins to scallops and gnocchi, but it was all so good together. Service was excellent, and courses were timed nicely so that we had time to enjoy our cocktails and wine along with each bite of food, and conversation. We weren't rushed at all. Our server was also a bartender here and knew the menus very well. Yes, this is a restaurant with a price range that makes it a special treat outing, but it is worth it! And...there are plenty of excellent choices on the menu that are comparable in price to other nice places around town. If you're looking to not completely ruin your budget, move past the beverage and food menu items that make you gasp a bit and find the numerous more moderately priced options. Plus, this is a Cunningham restaurant so if you have a VIP card it basically ends up being 10% off eventually. Parking is behind the building as is the entrance to Provision. If you're headed west on 86th, turn left at the light just past Keystone. The entrance is well marked.

David T.

Yelp
This is our second time eating at this restaurant and the food is always amazing. Our waitress was great and made sure everything was perfect. The drinks are strong... So be careful! The atmosphere is great and perfect for a date night.

Nawshaba N.

Yelp
Excellent food. Loved the scallops and crab cake. The scallops were the best I have ever had and I am a huge foodie.

Raena L.

Yelp
I am a fan of (and expect great things from) any of the Cunningham Restaurant Groups. Provision in IronWorks off Keystone & 86th was on our list that we had yet to try. My review is a little late because I've needed the time to sit & write. We went in early Oct to celebrate our anniversary. It was a Fri night, and by the time we made RSVPs our choices were early or late, so we went early. Good choice -- not crowded yet, and quiet. (And also much easier to get parking in the lot!) Hubs went for an old-fashioned, the blue cheese wedge and the sea bass, both nice portions, and I went all-in on the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing. For dessert, we had coffee and what was my 6th course, although the regular dessert menu looked enticing as well. ok, so my courses: Thai shrimp soup, scallop with caviar, wild mushroom ravioli, wagyu, elk (like a little tomahawk steak), and coffee glazed zappole. I have a pic of the menu in my photos so that you can read all the sauces etc and absolutely fabulous wine pairings. Please check out my pics! Everything was absolutely delicious. The elk was a standout among standouts. With the chef's tasting, also that is presented by our excellent server with a description and the wine paring notes, sommelier-style. So this was by no means an inexpensive meal for our normal budget (ex: the tasting menu + wine pairing = $150), but we enjoy a fabulous food experience for special occasions, and this was indeed that. #yum #ReviewsByRL

Yelp
Dirty dishes and over cooked food. The service was impeccable and attentive. That was 4 stars in this place. Even a different waiter walked by to complement on my choice of dish, but sadly he really doesn't know what good food is. I had the grilled shrimp (4) starter at $24, and the shrimp were overcooked. At that price I expected something closer to perfection. Anyone can buy 2 lb of shrimp at half the price and overcook them all day long. The snapper fillet was also overcooked and over seasoned. It could have been any type of fish, so much it was seasoned. You can also see how much crud is built up on their dishes. The decor is an open kitchen, and it looked like it was filled with short order cooks not chefs. Sadly I cannot recommend this restaurant even though it was recommended by a friend.

Susie J.

Yelp
Overpriced. Poor selection. Poor proportions. Very disappointing. Even our waitress seemed bored.

Brittany M.

Yelp
Provision is one of my top 5 restaurants in Indy! The food is amazing and I love how they update their chefs tasting menu often! You will have and amazing experience each time you attend . I love the location and the servers are very sweet!

James S.

Yelp
My wife surprised me by taking me to the Provision Restaurant located on 86th St. This was a special treat because I have heard wonderful things about this restaurant and now I had the opportunity to experience it first hand. I must tell you it is everything that I heard and as they say all that and a bag of chips! I started out with appetizer, Charred Shrimp, you can't go wrong and was the right choice! Next, for the main course I ordered the 14 oz Ribeye with sautéed onions and more shrimp with Potato Terrine. This was the perfect choice although it was more than enough for another person to share. Don't forget to order the pretzel bread to compliment the meal! Overall, one of the best meals I have enjoyed in a very long time. The waiters were on point excellent customer service and tended to our every need. If you want a classy restaurant and a good meal this is the place. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. This restaurant gets a A+

Anne S.

Yelp
Loved it! Kassie, our server, was easy to engage with. There an issue with our food, she and the manager promptly resolved the matter. Resturant ambience was vibing . Then the Devour Indy 2024 dinner order arrived and POW, my taste buds were I elated. Definitely returning. #DevourIndy

Yelp
I like Provision. The location in the retail/restaurant space at Iron Works hotel on 86th street so unfortunately parking was tough on a Friday night, but valet is offered for a cost. Entering the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. It feels upscale. You enter into a foyer, and take stairs to the second level restaurant, or can use the elevator located in the lobby of the hotel if needed. The restaurant itself is adorned well, has dim lighting, and sets a great ambiance. The hosts stand is at the top of the stairs and allows you to be greeted right as you enter the restaurants main space. We made reservations so our table was ready right away, but there is seating to the side to allow you to grab a drink and wait on a table. Despite how busy they were, service was prompt, friendly, and enjoyable. Our host and server were both incredibly personable, so much so that I remember both their names. We dined from the devour menu, adding bread for the table ( 10/10) and drinks. I didn't love the "Endless Love", which seemed to be their version of an Expresso martini, and my sister also didn't love her drink. But our dishes were flavorful, beautifully plated, and the salmon was beautifully cooked. Will absolutely revisit in the future, and definitely recommend!

Yelp
Another great visit to Provision. We were here on a Friday night to celebrate a graduation (party of two). We had a reservation, and they gave us a selection of sitting outside, at a high top table, or a normal table, which we appreciated. Our server was very kind and attentive. We got a cocktail and moctail, and our server was attentive to our taste and questions. All the food was great. We got the Burrata to start, which was delicious with fried green tomatoes. For our mains, I got the Pork Osso Buco, and my girlfriend got the scallops. I appreciate that their menu changes over time based on local offerings, and while I really enjoyed the food, I preferred the pork chop to what was on the Osso Buco, but it was still great. The scallops were delicious. They also kindly gave us a free dessert to celebrate graduation, which was so kind of them. All in all, it was a great experience.

Marc D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and delicious food topped of by prompt, polite and attentive service. I had a ribeye that was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked.

Erin G.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by on a Wednesday evening without a reservation, which was a mistake! The place was packed and they didn't have a table available until 8:45pm. Since this was our only date night, we decided to eat at the bar. I admit that this affected out overall experience so I would like to go back another night and have a reservation for a table. Overall, the food is as delicious! I recommend either the bread basket (the spiced butter was so good) or the burrata. We started with a wedge salad, crisp and great flavor. My main course was The Truffled Corn Soup, the secret star of the evening! The soup came hot and full of flavor, with a spicy kick - so good! We enjoyed both the Ricotta Donuts and the Peanut Butter Bombe, both were good but truthfully, not excellent.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Went to provision and enjoyed the salad, mushroom tart, and ricotta donut. My friends ordered the short rib which they also enjoyed. I'm a dessert girl and the donuts were fantastic!

Jeff P.

Yelp
Always a go to great meal. The ambience is warm and the wait staff is always friendly and welcoming. Had the crab cakes which were cooked to perfection, tuna tartare was delicious, every meal I've had here is fantastic, bolognese was hot and hearty for a nice romantic dinner this place rocks.

Yelp
Visited again this month with a friend for drinks. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time. We met new people and had an awesome time with the bartender Jackson. We will be back for another round.

Yelp
Provision is upstairs in Ironworks. Upscale feel and ambiance. There is dining tables, high tops, bar seating, and outdoor seating with a fireplace. Beautiful space. Prompt and great service. Helped my mom and I make some tough decisions for what we should order! Started with the burrata. Great form factor and tasted amazing. The fruit goes so well with the burrata and crostini. Phenomenal! For the entrees I went with the pork chop (after hemming and hawing between that and the scallops) and my mom got the snapper. The pork chop was huge! And flavorful. And moist. The glaze on top was sweet and went well with the chop. The parsnip purée and sweet potato went perfectly with the chop. The snapper was really good. I may get that next time! So at this point we were pretty full, so the obvious move was to order 2 desserts. I see ricotta donuts and I think Vida, so I had to order those. A bit different than Vida...maybe even better!!! The peanut butter bombe was indeed a sugar bomb. My mom questioned the addition of the banana ice cream but I quite enjoyed it. Cost with tip was about 200. Definitely check it out for a nice occasion!

Yelp
I am so bummed with my experience here. It had been on my bucket list for over a year and I finally convinced my entire family of 9 to go. We made a reservation a week in advance and we easily accommodated. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The view was great from our table and parking was easy. My grandparents used the elevator to get upstairs but stairs are also an option. We were seated quickly and given menus. After we had all made our choices and the waitress began to go around, she advised us they were out 3 of the entrees and sadly they were majority of what our table was going to order. Our reservation was at 5:30 on Sunday, so I was surprised they were swiped clean of those meats/fish. After we all adjusted and ordered differently, our food took soooo long to come. With a larger party, I get it may take longer. This was way longer than normal though. We didn't leave the restaurant until 8. The service was ok. All in all the food came out beautiful. Truly a piece of art! The flavors were unique, but the combo seemed to be missing something. Not sure if I'd go back if I'm being totally honest. I would maybe give it another shot down the road, but not in a rush to.

Yelp
I love the location of this restaurant. at the ironworks hotel which is beautiful! The service was prompt and professional. The food was great! I like my steak without toppings so that's my old negative feedback but also my fault for not specifying.

Yelp
Dessert Review Only: My friend and I went here for dessert and some port wine. When he first mentioned port wine, was a little skeptical. But it was amazing!!! I ordered the Peanut Butter Bombe which was really good, it came with a banana cream pie ice cream which paired very well with the Bombe. The bombe definitely has cocoa powder on the crust, which I personally thought overpowered the peanut butter a little too much. My friend got the Indiana Sugar Cream Pie which came with a Turkish coffee ice cream. This was honestly my favorite thing and I wanted more! I do look forward to going back to get some entrees!

Yelp
This was my first experience at this restaurant. The food was good, but the drinks were to die for. The restaurant was beautiful inside. It was tricky to get to the restaurant, but once we figured out how to enter via the hotel, we were set! Our servers were great!

Yelp
Finally got around to visit Provision after hearing friends rave about it. The service was super attentive and friendly and the restaurant had a sophisticated but low-pressure vibe. I got the salmon and it was just melt-in-your-mouth incredible, my boyfriend got the bolognese which was hearty and flavorful, and for dessert we shared the brown butter pie. That was just too good to pass up! Highly recommend this for a date night spot on the north side.

Yelp
Decided to have my birthday dinner here and it did not disappoint. First off the staff was absolutely fantastic, and extremely accommodating. My guests were coming in at different times and the staff was prompt to getting everyone's food & drinks in as they came. The manager made sure everyone was comfortable and even reserved an extra table for additional seating. The food was incredible!! I tasted a little bit of everyone's entree, and couldn't decide which one was my favorite. Everything brought to our table was hot, fresh, and seasoned to absolute perfection. It's very hard to please a party of 16 included toddlers but they pulled it off. We can not wait to go back!

Yelp
Nice hotel restaurant and bar. The staff is very accommodating. The quality of the food is outstanding. I had a filet that came with mashed potatoes and I ordered a side of asparagus. My steak was cooked exactly to order but it was over salted. I also didn't care for the presentation of the mashed potatoes. They looked as if the had been produced through a soft serve ice cream machine. Nice bar with an outdoor balcony and gas fire pit made for a relaxing after dinner drink.
