Public House Paris

Large portions of food for great quality. The price is a bit high for beers especially for a Pub but the place look very fancy and beautiful inside and it's in a touristic neighborhood of Paris so I'm not surprised. The signature cocktails are also highlights, (we took the matcha spritz and the rhum one) very delicious !

Fabulous British restaurant in a great location. Food was outstanding, we enjoyed scotch egg and salmon croquettes for appetizers. Portions were generous and delicious. Ribs fell off the bone and were very tasty. Very cute Christmas decor inside and out! Amazing service also from Matthis! We will be back 🙌🏽

I've been coming here the past couple of years and I'm sad they have changed the menu. The potato and cheese pie is gone. The fish and chips has a really thick batter. Nice chips though. The chicken burger is a bit sad and the chicken is cut up on the inside. Scotch eggs are nice but a bit pricey.

I saw Calum Franklin and the Beef Wellington in German TV and reserved for our Paris stay. We have not been disappointed. We had a splendid evening at Public House. Loved the atmosphere, the style and the love for the details, like the arrangement of the Wodka-Soda drink. Food was splendid, especially the Pie. At some point I forgot we are in Paris, and could have sworn we are in London ;) We will definitely come back!

Had already eaten here twice before when there were still pies on the menu, both times had good experiences. The menu has now changed so only a chicken pie remains. We tried the boeuf à la Guinness, butter chicken and chicken pie. Taste was OK, but dishes were only just warm, not hot at all. Profiterole dessert was disappointing as just a big Chou filled with ice-cream with a watery chocolate sauce poured over it. Brioche perdue was better. Service was fine, although didn't like it when the waiter cleared away 3 plates while the 4th person was still eating. It wasn't busy so no need to rush us!! Music was just a little too loud that we had to speak up to be heard. Overall decent value for money, and still a nice setting, but compared to the previous visits the quality seems to have dropped (confirmed also by a friend who went there a few weeks ago and had also been there before).

As the name of the place implies it is a pub, but it is more than a pub! The restaurant on the top floor is beautifully decorated and is very charming. Fish and chips is as good as the best of the ones in the UK. The vegetables pie was delicious. The lady serving us was extremely attentive and friendly. It is a great place for a casual meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a great lunch here! The food was simply amazing, every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. A big shoutout to our waitress, Merry, who recommended some of the best dishes on the menu and she was super friendly along with the way she passionately described each option, making our meal that much more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

As you have asked for my comments following a recent visit, I am happy to oblige. The building on the outside and inside is very well presented. Unfortunately, being presented with menus that were well used and torn lowered the image. We arrived early and ordered drinks but no 'nibbles' were provided. We were seated upstairs at a round table which was small for 4 people to use - we had to put our Bottle of wine and glasses on the floor at one point. We ordered several starters to share, which were nice, although the onion rings were mostly batter. I was disappointed that the Scotch Egg with black pudding was not on the menu but the classic Scotch Egg was very nice. As Callum Franklin is known for his pies, it was a shame that there were only 3 pie choices on the menu. The Beef Pie was excellent and the Cheddar potato pie was quite nice all served with a side salad, which seems an unusual choice. The Pulled Pork burger was also good but the chips were awful. The service was quick and our waitress was very pleasant. I had been looking forward to eating at this establishment since hearing about it's conception. All in all a nice place to have a pleasant meal.
