"On any good road trip, the moment comes when no one’s able to decide what they want to eat. Thank god for food halls! Wolf down bites of nasi goreng and pandan chiffon cake from Indonesian restaurant Nusa, fill up on Peruvian pork shoulder adobo from Paradita Eatery, or slurp noodles from Ramen Hiroshi, all at one destination. There are enough choices to fuel the entire group for the drive ahead." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri

"Okay, this is a little bit of cheating, but Emeryville Public Market’s smattering of mostly counter-service spots is a seriously great option for families, because sometimes, easy is the chief driving factor for where to eat. Belly-filling burgers at Super Duper Burgers, Korean-Japanese rice-bun sandwiches at Koja Kitchen (where some moms-to-be may make a daily habit of kamikaze fries), avocado-studded tacos at C Casa, and a fast-casual tour of Peru with Paradita Eatery… all members of one household can choose what they like, gather at a communal table to dine in a no-fuss environment, and call it a day." - Justine Jones, Laura Smith Borrman

It joins an increasingly delicious restaurant lineup at the Market, which includes Minnie Bell’s Soul Movement, Shiba Ramen, Pig in a Pickle, and C Casa, among others. Starting today, it’s open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., with burgers, beer, wine, and shakes." - Ellen Fort

It’s been so long since I was last here that I can’t even remember when it was. Maybe once? Twice? A long time ago. It was a drizzly Saturday evening at 6 PM. There weren’t many people yet, but as dinner time approached, people started gathering here and there. We took a quick look around to decide what to eat, but the prices seemed way too high compared to the quality of the food. The food being served didn’t seem to justify the price. A single roll costing over $20 at a food court? That just doesn’t seem right.

Google
This place has an excellent variety of different types of food to eat, sometimes there’s even a little bar open. It also has dairy free ice cream, and a juice bar. I believe there is a Pete’s coffee inside as well. All of the places that I have been to are good, pig and pickle is by far my favorite with the others being nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. There are common areas to sit between all the restaurants alongside of bar-style games. Definitely recommend coming to this place, especially if you need to charge your EV. The parking situation is ample and not terrifying.

Had a fantastic meal here! The burger was juicy, the chicken sandwich was perfectly moist, and the veggie burger was full of flavor. Despite being quite busy, the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s a great spot for families, with spacious walkways that are wheelchair accessible. There are plenty of parking spaces, and Tesla charging stations are conveniently located behind the building. Highly recommend!

This is a really neat place to go in Emeryville. They have a great variety of food. The seats are reasonably comfortable. And the atmosphere is generally very very good.

38th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition is at the Public Market Emeryville. The show runs through the month of October

Google
Since it's an open market I got food from La Vida fish and Chips. It was so tasty! The fried zucchini was crispy and the salmon burger was flavorful. Overall, it's good for groups with different dietary need because the only thing you have to agree on is where to sit. It was pretty crowded when we went but folks were open to sharing tables.

Nice place to go for meal. I liked NabiQ.

Across from the Amtrak station, you can find this beautiful food court with plenty of interior seating, an outdoor seating area with fire pits, and clean restrooms. There's also a bar, projector screens with sports games, interesting lighting, and plenty of trash cans.

Yelp
Even though I've only visited Public Market a handful of times over the years, it has always had far more to do with location (and the fact that I don't make it to this side of the bay as often as I used to) than anything else. Really, I've always been rather fond of this place and how they're home to so many distinct eateries. Sure, the concept isn't exactly novel, nor that far off from a mall food court, but considering how this was built back in the 80's, you could argue this was one of first food halls around, before food halls even became a thing! In the years since they first opened, it seems like Public Market has gone through a couple of updates and renovations, which has changed their fabric to some degree. Early on, the vast majority of the purveyors seemed to be true, mom-and-pop establishments. Now, some of the eateries include a couple of larger, semi-chains in KoJa Kitchen and Super Duper (which I love), though most still seem to be smaller owned establishments. Perhaps more importantly, the fare they offer is still just as diverse and varied, including Japanese, Peruvian, Asian Fusion, Mexican, Southern, Caribbean, Indonesian, Korean, American BBQ, Chinese, pizzas, and more. Beyond just the dining options though, the other appealing thing about Public Market is that it doesn't necessarily have to be just a place where you eat and leave. A couple of the eateries have bars with TV's going, so you can relax and catch a game, there are some table games for adults and kids alike (they have a shuffleboard!), and they have a variety of community events every so often (live music, craft events, etc.). Plus, with so many tables available throughout the place, you can sit and dine at your leisure without having to worry about folks stalking your table. The one thing about Public Market that I'm not a huge fan of is how their parking lot is configured. While it's a decently large lot, spaces can fill up fast during peak weekend hours. What's more, it's connected to the Hyatt's lot next door, so it was unclear if part of the lot was reserved for the hotel's guests or not. That said, the lot seems to thin out as the day wears on, so if you're stopping by for dinner, you're probably not going to have a problem on most nights. At the very least, it shouldn't deter you from stopping in and checking out Public Market if you're in the area for a quick and casual bite!

Yelp
Wow this is 100% times better than the first time I came here. They have a lot more places in this food court. More choices was definitely a plus for us, unfortunately the food here is mediocre. The saving grace being Pig In A Pickle amazing BBQ. Everything else is a hard meh. Spacious open seating food court with something for everyone. Boba. Ramen. Pizza. Burgers. Fried chicken. Etc. Really like this space and area, I hope they improve their food and add even more options in the future.

Carrie A.

Yelp
Decided to try as they had so many places to try in one venue. Cute environment but really loud and hard to have a conversation with a group. They did have a live band but again, so loud it was hard to enjoy the singer as with the acoustics in the venue all you could hear was the backup band. I decided on trying La Vida fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. Crispy and fresh cod fillets with garlic fries hit the spot. Friend ate at Jayne Gyro and was disappointed with his $22 meal. While the gyro was big the meat was dry and had very little sauce in the wrap. He got a side of hummus which was just ok, and a pita which was an additional cost. Concept is good; just needs some tweaking.

Scott H.

Yelp
Consistently a great place to eat. Among the most improved venues in the San Francisco Bay Area over the last few years.

Annie W.

Yelp
Met up with a small group of folks and this was the perfect meeting place! There are so many different vendors here that each person could pick up whatever they wanted to eat, pay for their own food, and join us at the large table at which we were seated. The variety of vendors is huge; so many choices ranging from Korean, to Peruvian, to BBQ; something for everyone! Lots of options for vegetarians or, probably, vegans, too. Lots of games available for young and old; families seemed to be enjoying their time there with the air hockey and large screen TVs. Be prepared to see some folks who might just be hanging out there, too. There were a couple of unsavory folks wandering around, but they more or less left us alone (though their scents lingered after they passed). All in all, a great place to meet up with folks for a casual meal and to catch up with what's going on. The free parking across the street is a *huge* asset and amenity, too!

Jill O.

Yelp
If you are in the Emeryville/Oakland area, this is a decent choice for a food market place with many newer eateries. I came here often in past due to work travels and there have been many updates since then. There is ample free parking with a lot across the street and many choices for seating throughout. This time I went with NabiQ (Korean food) and had the veggie bim bim bap which was flavorful and a good portion. Entire market place is clean and good flow of patrons.

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
This spot is still growing. It's fine. I tried an old "favorite" and it wasn't so great. But I'm glad that they are still around. They had some down places, but I'm sentimental to some of my faves that have shuttered. They don't have as many places to eat and the individual "stalls" are bigger than they used to be. They also have people cleaning the eating area regularly which is great because without the cleaning the tables and floors would become filthy which is why I usually took my food to-go. But you can find a clean table and chair, and not worry about the crumbs you'd pick up on your clothing or plate. They also have alcohol which is cool. No cider though and that blows. So I'm not excited about that. Some of the stalls close very, very early - between 7 and 8 pm so check before going to make sure that your spot is still open. But it's fine and they have a lot going for them. I'm glad for the changes.

Richard G.

Yelp
Great place to go when you are with a group and everyone is in the mood for something different. I think there are over 10 food stalls and there is even a beer cooler to choose your favorite beer. Greek, Asian, Mexican, Smokehouse just to name a few.

Dyane P.

Yelp
Koja Kitchen use to be good. They're Tuna bowl- the lettuce was rotten underneath and their tuna fish taste frozen and old. The kamakazi kbq fries was not fresh. The fries was dry cold and old. NabiQ Korean bbq is good according to my kids. I won't be coming back.

Roger H.

Yelp
I am so glad the Emeryville Public Market survived. It was great before the remodel and I am glad it seems to be hopping. There are many choices for food and drinks. It's a great place to accommodate the various tastes of a group. Being able to order from individual restaurants is fantastic. In my family I order Korean chicken for my oldest; curry tofu from the sushi restaurant for the youngest and my partner and I will have middle Eastern, fish and chips or Mexican. Lots for everyone.

Mel S.

Yelp
In case you haven't been to the Public Market before, it's a great place to go if you can't decide what to eat. There are at least 10 restaurants inside to choose from Korean to Greek to Peruvian to burgers to ramen to sushi to boba to Mexican to Indian and many more. And you can sit anywhere amidst the large family-style dining tables, or at a smaller table. Miscellaneous: - Came here on a Friday evening and found parking via the lot outside fairly easily. - Located next to a train station in case you don't feel like driving - Great during seasons like basketball or football as well due to the many screens at the bar, as well as the projector screens throughout

Kelsey K.

Yelp
Love this food hall concept! Definitely recommend if staying around the area. Super diverse food options and convenient to try multiple. Love the community concept and atmosphere!

Daniel C.

Yelp
Updated review after 5 years: We came here for lunch after a long hiatus. Food Halls are always fun, even if it seems like a glorified cafeteria. The key is to have a diverse set of vendors, each offering something different. That way you can order 3-4 different entrees and desserts for shared lunch. Since my last review there were further changes, though I'm happy to see less empty booths. 1. There used to be a huge parking lot but now its fenced off. You'll have to park closer to the Hyatt House side since going too far and its just curbside parking near Peet's. 2. Ugg, both Pamir Afghan with its succulent chicken kabobs and Wazwan with their awesome Indian entrees are gone. Two of our favorites! 3. They now offer free pool tables, foosball, and air hockey to keep folks entertained, which is great. 4. Super Duper Burger moved in, along with Mercato Pizzeria, two larger restaurants if you want something different. 5. On our last visit, we tried Konarq, Jayna's Gyros, NabiQ, and Dewie's. Separate reviews coming. Maintaining 3 stars- I do like the concept here but so far the food is just good, not great like 5-10+ years ago when they had Crispy Fry, Pamir, and Wazwan.

Liz B.

Yelp
So many things and foods and places to look at! Super lively and lots of stuff to pick to eat here. I always come away with a different experience and am never bored. I enjoy a good boba experience, soul food, seafood, bbq, and even dessert from the restaurants that operate out of here. Plenty of seating and space to walk around and shop or observe. Also in the shopping area where you can buy clothes from urban outfitters and go grab coffee at Peet's. There's always something to do around here!

Nyla J.

Yelp
Decor, outdoor scenery, and food selections are pretty cool. Its very clean area. I see the staff wiping down tables, sweeping and collecting garbage so the place remains sanitized. I like that there is a bar, alcohol, tv's and so much seating. They included a kid area with pool table, ice hockey, kid tables and comfy couch with colorful wall art. Im giving it three stars because we saw a homeless person in the market and there were no security. He was shirtless with no shoes. Its very distracting. Prices for food may range $10 to $17 a plate depending where you choose to eat at.

S M.

Yelp
We stop in hear to grab a bite to eat with family our just ourselves after a hike.... The variety of food is awesome.... The atmosphere is happy, vibrant and positive.... I have never been dissatisfied. I usually get the Korean bowl/salad thingy, the BF loves the Super Duper Burger place, and also will grab brisket from the BBQ place. I don't like brisket, but this guy knows how to do it perfectly and it is the only brisket I will eat. The BBQ sauces are very tasty. There are kid and family areas.... There is a pretty good sized bar with TVs for the adults. Bathrooms are meh... As a kid back in the day, I remember this structure to host a variety of food kiosks and specialty stores.... I always like coming here... We would definitely return...

Yelp
I'm a Baller On a Budget and I. Approve The Public Market Emeryville!!! Why you may ask? Various Restaurants under one Roof! Great People Watching!! Free Parking! Food Pricing might be high !!! Thanks Inflation' . Great Date Spot. Or Communal Meeting Spot ! But for most of the reasons listed this a Baller On a Budget Approved Establishment!!!

Hampton H.

Yelp
Disappointed. I liked the market when it was more Mom and Pop. Now, it seems cookie cutter and has lost the charm I once enjoyed with my whole family. The prices, like most eateries, are through the roof and make eating out less enjoyable.

Amy N.

Yelp
This is my first time here and definitely something for everyone. I had sushi, husband had ramen and daughter had fish and chips. We all liked everything we got!! Definitely check this place out!

Alex H.

Yelp
Really family friendly place (albeit there's a huge bar in the center) with a variety of different restaurants in case nobody can settle on a specific cuisine! This place gets pretty crowded on the weekends around lunch and dinner time. Parking is sufficient with lots and meters close by. Lots of large TV screens (perfect for large sporting events) as well as games (foosball, bean bag toss, etc.) to play.

Glenea H.

Yelp
Always a staple even tho alot has changed. The Chinese spot which had the best Mongolian beef has been closed for forever!

Lucky H.

Yelp
This is the BEST for watching sports and mingling. Everyone at the bar is friendly, the drinks are AMAZING!! And I was eating Minnie Bells rosemary chicken maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Rather with friends or alone it's a great SAFE place to just hangout.

Ziggy P.

Yelp
Ok but expensive for food to go. Not the nicest surroundings - feels like your eating in an airport hanger.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
Public Market Emeryville is located conveniently near many stores. After a day of shopping, this may be a good spot to stop by because they have quite a few choices to choose from for drinks, food, and snacks. They have a parking lot across the street as well. Overall, it is a chill vibe here and I like the back area with the sofas because it is more quiet and relaxing there - it was the perfect spot for me to relax for an hour or so to wait out traffic. If I come back, I want to try Minnie Bell's Soul Movement - I did not get a chance to since I already ordered food at another spot in the public market before I saw this spot.

Chadie G.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a minute . So glad we came through! They really made a huge improvement over the place! It's a great location for variety. Ample spacing of tables, chairs. Recycling bins for garbage. Free pool table, other table games and Large TV monitors for sports. Place is really inviting and nice for all ages. The only problem, you will have a hard time choosing what you want to eat!!! So many good options!!!

Alex H.

Yelp
OK, yes, it's pricey, but there are some good eats here. The vibe is fun and inviting for the whole family that want to eat something different and/or to share. A couple of the restaurants were more like mall eats than others, but that's ok. I'm not going to call them out here. But, the burger place was a hit and the Peruvian place was pretty good, but watch out for the lost in translation card to add one order of plantain fries--he sold us two. For the proprietors, there are definitely dark/dead spots and probably hurts those shops. I think it would help them if there was better lighting in those areas. e.g., main entry from parking lot (not Peru / Super Duper) and the far end on the other side.

Annabelle R.

Yelp
I've been to this food hall/ market plenty of times and this was my first time post-covid. Honestly, I liked this place a lot better in the past before the renovations and new eateries. I miss some of the old ones and don't really find a lot of options I like anymore. But the food is still of good quality, and good for an affordable casual dining experience. We just got some coffee at Peet's during our visit this past Sunday, and it was pretty standard. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which is new from what we remembered. I like how there is ample seating and tables both indoors and outdoors. But the place overall doesn't have as great a vibe as it used to, and the restaurants are unreliable, you don't really know what's going to be open when... or more accurately, what time an eatery closes. It's very inconsistent, and this was even an issue pre-covid so it's not really a result of the pandemic. I especially don't like how early some places close on Sundays (if they're even open at all!?!). At least the place is well kept and pretty clean, they have large restrooms with plenty of stalls, a parking lot across the street (and limited parking on the other side), and a variety of ethnic food options if you're trying to satisfy a group with different preferences.

Elle A.

Yelp
Stopped to grab ice cream after being at Tipsy Putt. We were going to eat there as a group but due to a timing schedule we couldn't eat as a group. The place is cute friendly and has lots of food options. Definitely will be back there to eat something from their many options

Rahn C.

Yelp
The food here is good but pricey. Paid $25 for a meal with a drink at the Korean bbq spot. They should have lunch specials. What took my review down some stars was the aroma of the public market. They're doing renovations and there is a strong smell of paint/ or wood cleaner. The fumes were unbearable for me and it was difficult to enjoy my food. Doesn't seem safe to breath these fumes; they should leave some doors open or have some air purifiers during this time.

Mengshu Z.

Yelp
Decent food, convenient parking, and plenty of options. We opted to order from multiple restaurants and regroup to dine together. Great ambiance, can be loud, but overall worth it

Rachel D.

Yelp
The Public Market is a FOODIES "dreamland". Around 17 different restaurants from ALL OVER THE WORLD occupy small spaces in the market. You can find almost anything your tastebuds desire here. When i was a child id come to play in a huge ball pit they had filled with plastic balls, then go to the arcade. Both are gone now (30 years later) but replaced with more great places to eat. So win win. I seem to forget about this place whenever I crave a certain international cuisine. Definitely have to come back to eventually try every eatery. Some recommendations are : Super duper burgers ( ice cream, milkshakes, garlic fries, burgers " Pig n a Pickle Amazing Texas bbq ( mustard sauce, Carolina sauce, links, brisket, pulled pork, Arnold Palmer, banana pudding) Korean bbq (Spicy chicken, beef, garlic shrimp, japchae) Not sure the names of the restaurants but the Tacos and the Indian food!!!!

Ruby S.

Yelp
There's an array of food choices. Lots of seating. Was there about 6:40 PM on 3/25/23, Saturday night. Quite crowded but our large group was still able to eat & enjoy it all. Great experience.

Arisa G.

Yelp
Good place to grab a quick lunch. Decent variety of food. Busy, but never too packed that it's impossible to find seating. Recommend the Korean bento place and the boba place! Would love to try the soul food place too, but they're always closed when we go :/

Jannette R.

Yelp
It's been years that I've been here & it's upgraded but so have the prices It's a nice food court, lots of choices. America, Korean, soul food, Mexican, Mediterranean. Used to have Jamaican jerk chicken which I did not see. A Peet's coffee & some dessert shops. Parking located in front with some parking stalls in the back of the market. I believe an Amtrak train station across the street although I've never been on. It's also Close to IKEA and the retail shops. Covid precautions with sanitizers and bathroom available. Large Tables allow somewhat of social distancing between groups.

Kristi C.

Yelp
Well, in my opinion it's hardly the low key mom and pop stands shoved into a market like before. All that had been replaced by mall like stores with 7-9$ tacos. I don't care what anyone says, I will never pay 9.00 for a taco. There are a few stand out spots, like Super Duper and Cashew Creamery. It just doesn't have the same vibe where you could come and get lots of authentic ethic cuisine. Only super bright spot is it is a fun place to watch a game with friends. They have lots of screens and lots of places to grab a beverage. Everyone can choose different food and hang out. For that I give it three stars.

Vuyelwa W.

Yelp
Public market went through a major renovations a few years ago which has brought some newness to it . My fave spots: - Minnie Bell Soul Movement - koja kitchen - Peruvian food - Korean kitchen - Sushi They also have a sports bar type spot as l that's great and they have a vegan dessert place as well. Highly recommended!!

Emma W.

Yelp
I remember when they first completed this space and feeling so excited. It's a vibrant and modern space that offers a range of different and diverse eateries from Indian, soul food, to Peruvian, and much more. It offers an abundance of seating options and I particularly love the outdoor area. It's great for kids too with smaller tables and chairs just for kids! Restrooms are clearly marked inside, and they have strong WiFi. Plenty of free parking out front. My only qualm is that there are no outlets! I found myself in the area and needed to work on my laptop on this most recent visit. There are a few outlets, but they're locked up. Peet's has outlets, but I had already had my double dose of caffeine for the day and didn't want to work out of there without paying for something. I'd also love to see more healthy options here if possible. A salad, acai, or poke spot would be a welcome addition! Overall, a great food hall in the East Bay!

Namrata K.

Yelp
We visited IKEA and found this place as we were hungry. I really loved the vibe of this place, kinda casual, no fuss, some drinks, TVs to watch sports, good food, games to play. The tables were cleaned every time someone moved away. Kept neat and clean. I will visit this place again when we have some games to watch.

Jem T.

Yelp
Most vendors open at 12, some are open at 11am. There's plenty of tables inside with a section outdoors too. Jayna Gyro and Minnie Bell's are my favorites. Paradita and the Korean place are good too. The new pizzeria mercato is a tasty and quick treat.

Royan H.

Yelp
Had a great time at Emeryville food court watched the NINERS game on the big screen the first half of the game I had buttermilk chicken Mac and cheese and greens and cornbread and red kolaid second half I had smoked brisket

Judy C.

Yelp
What a fun and cool public market to hang out @ in Emeryville. I did some research before my Oakland Trip and actually changed my hotel from Downtown Oakland to stay in Emeryville for this Public Market, which was super convenient for me. We walked from our hotel here 3 times during my stay for coffee and food. Public Market Emeryville is more of a market with different food vendors. I like the concept, similar to a few food court that we have back on Oahu. This public market is much smaller and looks like there are room and space for more vendors or maybe an open market for fresh veggies and produce. One of the main reason I stop here is for Peet's, which is located in the front side facing the train parking lot of the Public Market. What a great location as you can kill two birds with one stone for dinner and after dinner sweet drink or breakfast and coffee. During my visit to the Public Market, the market was packed with customers there was also a live band performing. This place was happening on a Saturday night. It could get loud, we enjoyed the entertainment while dining here. The one thing I would complain about is the high chair, I had a hard time getting on that chair and was a little uncomfortable which I got use to after. The Public Market directory consist of: Baby Cafe, C CASA, Hot Italian, Koja Kitchen, Mama Lamees, Minnie Bell's Soul Movement, Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery, NabiQ, Oui Oui! Macaron, Paradita Eatery, Peet's Coffee and Tea, Pig in a Pickle, Public Bar by Blush, Shiba Ramen, Super Duper Burgers, The Periodic Table, Wazwan Indian Cuisine. Health & Fitness: Bruce's Barber Shop, Everyville Dental Care, Emeryville Occupational Medical Center, Orangetheory Fitness, The Lounge ( Nail Spa) Shop includes: Guitar Center and Urban Outfitters Overall, The other half and I enjoyed our visits to the Public Market so convenient, we enjoyed hanging out here for our dining and coffee needs. Check out the Emeryville Public Market next time you're here at Oakland, lots of dining options!!

Ernie G.

Yelp
Took a trip here to meet up with a friend and realized I hadn't been here in years. Happy to say it's definitely got some great selection and serves as the perfect place for lunch or a casual dinner. Perfect for an indecisive group of acquaintances or for your pickiest friends- as there's something for everyone here. Seating is pretty good and the whole decor/vibe is approachable and smart. I haven't tried enough of the stalls to have a favorite yet- but if you're new to the area or have been here but haven't been to this spot recently, definitely check it out!

Lisa C.

Yelp
Great place in Emeryville to grab a bite to eat, especially if you don't know what to get! This food hall has several different food spots and a good variety of options. I usually come here around 10:30/11am and most spots don't open up till 11am or later, so keep that in mind if you're looking for an early lunch. I love that there's plenty of seating inside. There's also plenty of parking in the parking lot across the street. Overall, great place to grab a bite to eat with loads of options!

Anna L.

Yelp
Love that they have workers continuously wiping down surfaces -- tables, chairs, door handles, etc. It's these extra steps that shows management cares about the customer's safety and experience. The market offers a variety of cuisines for you to choose from, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Greek, and many more. The diversity in options makes it a nice place to visit with indecisive friends since there's something for everyone.

Patrick S.

Yelp
Pretty nice international food court. Lots of variety. Plenty of seating. Some table games. A bar. Parking is free and pretty easy.

Sallie Ann C.

Yelp
The first public market I visited was in Culver City and I just loved it. So when I found out they have one in Emeryville I just have to check it out. It's like Disneyland for foodies like me. It's a bummer tho they're only open until 8PM. Except for super duper burgers.

Scarlett H.

Yelp
Nicely planned (as in urban planning) and developed shopping/ dining complex with many small eateries in the food court. Most of the places have some innovative elements in their menu so you can try different places and get a slight different tastes than most food courts in , say, the malls. Great parking lot across the street and free! Guitar Center and Urban Outfitter are just two of the stores near by that I checked out. Both spacious and nice.

Yelp
Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. Was very impressed. For starters, was so happy that we didn't have to pay for parking & there was plenty. That's always a plus! I've seen from previous photos this place was renovated within the last year or so, and from the before's & after's it made a huge difference! Looks way better. It's basically a giant food court. They have many tables, tv's, and food choices to chose from. They have restrooms inside. Very nice set up! I swear every food place I walked by smelled amazing. They even have one or two dessert places, I believe ice cream & macaroons. Super cool! Will definitely be back to try the famous "Shiba Ramen" so many people speak of.

Yelp
Public Market is ok, the only good option that seem decent is the Korean bbq spot the Peruvian place, shake shack and koja. Be forewarned the sushi place is over priced and truly just a huge let down. I've tried it twice now hoping that maybe the first time I went it was just an off day. Nope they consistently let you down. So steer clear. The boba place is decent. The bar is ok. Haven't tried the wine bar and Mexican food spot yet. But will update this post once I do. I guess I expected more but honestly it's underwhelming.

Yelp
I think it is an awesome addition to Emeryville, although I am not a Bay Area native...Emeryville has transformed greatly over the decades and this place makes it even better. If you're with friends that have diverse eating pallets, this is the best place! They have about 10+ eateries (ranging from burgers to soul food to Asian food to dessert) in one location and a sports bar with large screens posted in every corner of the market! It allows for everyone to pick whichever place they'd like to eat, grab takeout and enjoy group seating. While we were there, the place was filled with lively people and good energy. It helped that the Golden State warriors were playing and winning! It also appeared that live bands play for the crowds on occasion because I saw what appeared to be a stage. I didn't give it 5 stars because the place lacked air and ventilation which was extremely needed on this warm evening.
