First is the menu, which features an unusual mix of spirits from sangria to soju along with the usual line of microbrew taps and a short list of classic cocktails. What really sets it apart is the overall vibe at the CORE space, which feels lifted right out of a trendy teen drama where everyone hangs out in an impeccably designed community center. We stumbled on this cute little bar and...Chris from El Barrio of Portland Mercado is the bartender at this awesome up and coming bar!! The owner has executed a wonderful vision of combining a community space and bar at Core Collective. With a front facing space and a back door lounge (where dogs are allowed!, and you can bring food from any of the food carts), it's such a cozy spot for date night and friends, especially during fall/winter! Can't wait to see it in the summer.

Great spot for a beer! Selection is top notch (had some Great Notion on tap) and the service was excellent. They have a few tables reserved specifically for the beer room but you can sit anywhere inside the location.

Chris is such a kind and friendly owner/bartender - he's the highlight of CORE for us. Publican has great beer options with a ton of variety.

Great to have a year-round bar at the cart pod! There's an outward-facing side to it, so you can enjoy a drink from indoors or out. Bonus: the outside section is dog-friendly, but you need a code to enter that way, so no chance of accidentally being confronted by dogs of that's not your scene. Love the selection. Something for everyone, including Asian options like soju and sake, plus wine and a good beer variety. Friendly service from a good low-key bartender. Definitely going back.
