A Barrio Vet Will Helm Publican Beer Room, CORE Food Hall and Cart Pod’s New Bar | Eater Portland
"Opening on September 27 at CORE (3612 SE 82nd Avenue), Publican Beer Room is a new bar from Mandy Kao and Hanry Ho that will share a building with HeyDay and Sandy’s Myanmar Cuisine and feature an outdoor-facing counter so food cart diners can easily access drinks. Barrio owner Chris Shimamoto will bartend, and he plans to serve a selection of sake, soju, makgeolli, and Asian beers to cater to the Jade District demographic; customers can also expect beer and cider on tap, a small cocktail menu, and the sangrias and micheladas Shimamoto used to serve at Barrio." - Janey Wong
