The venue is great but.... the meat was tough, rice and beans warm (should be hot for good flavor) lacking authentic flavor. We only received 4 tortillas for 3 adults. Bill was 140.00 for 4 adults. I don't plan to dine here again. They need to up the standard, not surprised we were the only patrons

Had (I should say, attempted to have) dinner at Pueblo last night with a party of nine before a show starting at 7:30 at the Chicago Theater. We arrived at 5:45 and a few of us ordered from the pre-fixe menu, which included chips and salsa, an appetizer, entree, dessert and two drinks. Alcoholic beverages arrived in a reasonable timeframe (once our server FINALLY took our order), but those that ordered sprite waited over 10 minutes.... for a fountain drink. Did I mention we were one of about five tables of customers in the entire place? We asked three times for our chips and salsa (last I checked, this requires zero cook time), which finally arrived with our hot appetizers and the entree selections for 6 of us. A HALF HOUR LATER, three of us were still waiting for our entree- and everyone else was done eating. This is now an hour and 25 minutes after our arrival. We cancelled our order then had to go through the bill line by line with the manager to be sure we were only being charged for what we were served. There was no apology offered, and this guy appeared to be completely confused when deciphering the final bill. All in all, it was an awful dining experience with TERRIBLE customer service.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Food was all tasty, slightly above average sit-down Mexican, but not amazing. For my taste, not enough spice I asked for some hot salsa on the side and they brought Tabasco. 😬 Carne Asada was well prepared with nice char but plently juicy in the middle on the rare side of medium rare, the way I like it, though a tad under salted. Guacamole was excellent, the Ensalada Pueblo was good but underwhelming. Service was very good.

Ordered the enchiladas, sopas and tacos. Also had the habiscus margarita. All very delicious and not too expensive for the area, also had a great server with a positive attitude. Would definitely recommend to all who haven't tried it yet!

The food was ok. The popcorn that was brought at the beginning was the best part. The entrees were bland. I had the salmon. Meh. The service was good.
