Pulchella Winery

We love this winery. Their wines are first class and the staff is lovely. We joined their wine club and they throw a great pick up party. So much fun.

My sister and I brought our dad here for his 80th birthday; Amanda was very informative, kind and generous. We needed this time as a family to reconnect.

I've been a member of the wine club for like 3 years now. The wine is incredible, I am personally more of a reds fan, City Slicker is my favorite. They have a great Rose if you prefer sweeter wines too. The wine tasting for $10 is a steal if you aren't a member. I love that you can bring food in with you or order from one of the neighboring restaurants. I take a group of friends whenever possible and it's a perfect date night. The staff are all so friendly and their dog that runs around is so sweet, Goalie is the man, so knowledgeable and fun to chat with. They are only open Thurs-Sun I believe it is so just call ahead to make sure they are open.

Great wines! We've been members for about a year and all of their releases are very good. Love their Viognier!

This is a great little winery in old town Newhall. We stopped in last Saturday night and I was pleasantly surprised how good the wine here is. We even picked up a couple of bottles. Many other tasting rooms in the are are average to below average, but not Pulchella. I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Amazing wine, great atmosphere!

Great tasting room in downtown Newhall. Small area and a nice patio. The wines are excellent and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and great to chat with while sipping some wines. Definitely worth a stop in. No food, but you can bring your own stuff or bring in stuffs from the near by restaurants.

Ok, so I might be a bit biased considering my brother is one of the owners, and i have helped pick grapes, press, and bottle, but my wife and I love Pulchella Wine. They are two hard-working wine makers, Nate and Steve, and have dedicated well over ten years of their life to perfecting the craft. They are dedicated to the winery and have no backing but the hard work they put in. They are a true inspiration to the hard-working American pursuing a dream. Stop by and have a tasting. i'm sure you will love it.

Spent another Saturday evening at Pulchella Tasting Room. Amanda and Adam were pouring and had all the facts about the wine. Had a flatbread delivered from Newhall Press room... yummy. Luna .... an adorable puppster and an 8th month old adorable little girl kept us all smiling. Loved Steve's Siren and went home with a Block 6.

Loved this little place. Was in the area and decided to look up wine tasting, and this place popped up. So glad we came. The wine was great, and the owner was attentive and cheerful. The place is small, but cozy and decorated nicely. I loved the dragonfly motifs wine glass so much, my date bought me a glass to take home lol. We will definitely be back if we are in the area.

Nice place to sip some wine. Great atmosphere! The service was fabulous. There was no food, but the wine was really good.

If their goal is to lose customers, I think they are doing a fantastic job! I still have not been able to pick up my wine from the August allocation! I wasn't able to go to the pickup party and their hours are so limited that I haven't been able to go to the tasting room to pick up. The two times I did change plans to make a special trip there were Sundays after noon when they were supposed to be open and they were CLOSED. It's now been months and no wine and they haven't even reached out to see if they can ship or anything. They sure were quick about charging my credit card for the wine. I will be canceling my membership once I finally get a hold of them!

So I came with a friend today and our experience was very poor. I spend a lot of money buying these wines But there's a lot of other places for good quality wine and even some appetizers and much better service. If I had to rate the service for today from 1 to 10 I rate it with a 0. Servicié absolutely sucked.!!!

Chill and comfy wine tasting room where you can actually enjoy good wine and good conversation. The staff was very friendly and informative.

Bought 3 bottles the server was helpful and efficient. Of course tasted what I purchased. Will come again.

Wow- love this spot. Moved to the area recently and the team here has been so welcoming. Goalie, Joey and Eli take great care of us and have welcomed us to the area like no one else. Fantastic wine, great staff and atmosphere! We definitely plan on joining soon!

I love this winery and Dan aka Goalie is awesome. He knows his wine, I tell him what I am feeling and he brings me exactly what I want. Joey is excellent as well they both know how to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

This is a small place with big wine! They have a great selection of wine. As a member you get some great deals with discounted prices and you get free tastings Wednesday- Sunday. The staff and owner are really friendly. If you enjoy drinking good wine, I recommend checking them out. One of my personal favorites is the 2015 City Slicker. It is a strong, yet smooth wine that has a perfect blend of 59% Zinfandel & 41% Petite Sirah.

The host was great and very welcome. Would recommend to my friends and family. We came in felt the warm energy and great ambiance .

When you walk in the door you feel like you have stepped into a local winery The homey feel and the smiles you see pouring the wine makes you know you walked into something special. Slide in to a seat and order a $10 tasting flight, rotates every season and each and every couple of months the wines start to appear with great anticipation. CITYSLICKER. A tip, they don't serve food but you can bring in your own. You will not be disappointed with this winery from the crispness of the Viognier, to the boldness of their red again they change so keep going back and explore what Pulchella has to offer.

I love coming to Pulchella. Dan know as Goalie and Joey are amazing. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Every time we walk in we are greeted with a smile and open arms these two are truly amazing people. Not to mention the wine is excellent as well. Goalie has the same pallet I do when it comes to wine. He know exactly what I want, he will pour me a special glass that's open. These true truly bring the people in the community together and know how to put a smile on the patrons faces. Not to mention the wine is amazing.

Love love love this tasting room. Golie and Joey are amazing, always providing info on the wines. It is always a pleasure to visit and always enjoy visiting.

This wine is across the board awesome! Visited there yesterday and enjoyed all their wines so much that I joined the club. Very worthy! Goalie and Suzanne were our hosts and took time to tell us about each of the wines poured in our tasting and added a couple extras based on our preferences. They are big wines but well balanced. Varietals are excellent as well as some fantastic blends. If you look further you'll see that Wine Spectator is impressed as well with several 90+ point awards bestowed. No food there but there are several restaurants in the area and they welcome having you bring in your own snacks, etc. They don't open till 5 on Saturday but it was worth the wait and there are other walkable places to sip and shop in the Newhall downtown area (who knew?). Give it a try:)

We found this place on a whim just walking around looking for a place for a drink and don't regret it. We even became members! The service was great and family owned. Everyone was extremely friendly and explained every wine to us.

Really great little gem in Newhall. The staff was very friendly and the wine was even better. I'm not even a wine person but I really enjoyed this place. Sip here then head across the street to Newhall Refinery for some delicious food.

Awesome little gem in Downtown Newhall! We were stoked when we found out they were open till 10:00 on a Thursday and I was surprised at the fact that every wine we tried was amazing! We took home a bottle of the 2015 Awakening which was to-die-for and we can't go on enough about how great the service was! Suzanne not only had extensive knowledge of wine and wine making (which we learned a lot about from her) but she was also very pleasant and fun to talk to! We will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place! It is so nice to have a local winery so close to home! Their Rogue Rosé is to die for and my favorite red is their 2015 Mercenary. They offer a $10 wine tasting, which is a great deal! It includes about 5-6 samples and changes often, so you can go regularly and try something different. They do not offer food, but they do allow you to bring your own, or you can order from one of the numerous restaurants on Main and bring it over. I recommend The Newhall Press Room and Newhall Refinery! Their hours are posted online, but I would call just to double check, sometimes special events can slightly change their hours. Typically, Thursday-Saturday 5-10 and Sunday 12-5. Although, I wish they were open 12-10pm on Saturdays

We've visited the Puchella Winery Tasting Room twice in the past two weeks. First we went in on date night - just the two of us. And we thoroughly enjoyed the wine and the laid back atmosphere. When we found out that we could bring food and snacks in with us, we came back the following week and brought another couple with us. We tasted everything on the wine menu on Thursday night and all ten wines were fantastic. We fought over which one to purchase there and decided on the Cabernet Franc. It was absolutely delicious. So we purchased a second bottle... ;) This is a nice little hidden away spot. Being in old town Newhall makes it feel rural and the relaxing vibe extends into Pulchella. There's no pressure, no rush... they just enjoy wine and welcome people who also enjoy wine. This is definitely a spot that we'll return to and continue to bring guests to. It's not often we find a winery where we like all their wines, so finding one close to us is a treat. If you like red wine, this is the place for you. They only had one white wine featured on both of our trips. I'm a red wine fan so I'm happy. And they even have a tasting menu arranged with Salt Creek Grille so you can bring in fantastic pre-made snacks if you choose. Kudos to the folks who opened this tasting room! I hope it continues to be a regular spot for us.

Popped in last weekend with our kids as we were passing through town. Kids were a non-issue. The lady running the store was very friendly and helpful during our tastings. We ended up loving the wine and buying a few bottles. Very much worth the stop. We really enjoyed ourselves here.

Became a member last year.....excellent wines. Their 2018 wines recently were released, Amazing!!! Summer is around the corner and the 2018 Drifter (white), is incredible. Friday afternoon....a cool breeze outside.....75 degree whether outside..... an awesome White or their Witness (red), perfect for So Cal relaxing.....AND they are kid friendly. #winesnobs #winepeople

Pulchella is my addiction. It has ruined wine for my wife & I. No, not cause it's not good, but because it's fantastic. We joined the wine club last summer which has been the biggest no-brainer. You not only get two shipments per year, but with each release Pulchella throws a complimentary bash to sample all the wines. Unlimited tastings are also included which usually turns into a couple glasses which usually turns into a couple bottles which usually turns into a blown monthly budget :). You following why this is addictive yet? I tell everyone who likes wine about this place and love introducing it to friends & family. Speaking of family, we feel like family whenever we come here. Megan & Steve are good people. Paige is super friendly and entertaining. Joey knows his stuff and is always down to educate / shoot the breeze. And back to the wine, Nate & Steve have the formula down and I can't wait to keep killing bottles for years to come. If you love Central Coast wine, you have to check out the reds here!

My wife and stop by once a week and not only is the wine fantastic, but Steve and Nate make us feel like VIPs! We love it!

The only downside here is I didn't know of it sooner!!! I LOVED the wine selection and the food was delicious. We sampled, as a group, sandwiches, salads, their cheese plate, and it was all super yummy. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and funny. They had a great selection and were generous with their time trying to help us find the right glass of wine! Great place definitely will go back!!!!

I just went for the second time and immediately told myself to come back more often! My first time was for a friends birthday on the patio and it was so fun. Went again while waiting for a table at Newhall refinery...the staff was super nice and the wines were so good! I will definitely be back for more vino!

We had a babysitter for an hour so we decided to stop by Pulchella for the first time. I need to start by saying how much I love the vibe. It's classy but laid back. Not the stuffy feel that you can get at some of the Napa wineries. Definitely more like the chill feel of a Paso winery. Suzanne (sorry if I misspelled your name) was very informative and explained how their Santa Clarita winery works and why they do what they do. We did the flight and learned about the different varietals. Suzanne was patient and we didn't feel rushed even though she was closing up shop soon. The wines are fairly priced and I can see myself visiting often so we signed up for the wine club. Side note: with their wine club there are three main benefits which sold me: 1. Unlimited wine tastings for two. 2. You get to try the wines before you customize your shipment. 3. I hear their parties are the place to be!!

Very friendly nice local winery. The room is calm, relaxing and comfortable and the person pouring so knowledgeable about wine. The selection was very good and we were impressed with the vintages. Bought several bottles. Laid back atmosphere and they allow you to bring your own food in. I highly recommend this small but impressive winery.

Love the wine and the tasting room is a delight! The staff are always attentive and are really great with our young girls. I have not had a wine here that I don't love!!

Finally made time to stop in here tonight, and glad we did. Intimate tasting room with great staff. Joey was very attentive and knowledgable about all their wines. Red focused with great variety across the six or so wines we sampled. Would be very easy for anyone to find a favorite from the selection Pulchella offers.

As good as it gets. Goalie the server/wine expert is fantastic, knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. Kudos! The wines were amazing from the rose to the 100% tannat. Not a bad one in the bunch. Nice little patio out back makes for a great and comfortable hang out.

Love! Love! Love! Mainly red wines. I am a member and the pick up parties are very fun. Puchella is located near my favorite restaurant, so we have our wine at Puchella then head across the street for dinner. Highly recommend!

Great little tasting room for a fantastic boutique winery here in SCV. Suzanne is the resident somm and knows every drop of all the different types of wines. You can join their winery and get first crack at all the new releases. Just the place you would hope to find on any Main St in any city.

I've been here on four different occasions and always had amazing service. The wine is great too. Our most recent experience was last week. We put together a bridal shower on a Thursday night. The owner was super sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. -OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED. You can bring outside food. Newhall Refinery is across the street and you can order from them and eat it at Puchella. -NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS-we were allowed to bring non-alcoholic wine for our pregnant friend. -OUTDOOR PATIO is really cute and private. We used it on a rainy night, they set up heaters for us and it was perfect. I'd imagine its a great spot for a warm summer night. -SERVICE- They are so sweet. Knowledgeable about the wine

I LOVE Pulchella! Joey & Goli are so awesome. I recommend this place to everyone I know (literally) and will def be going back a million times. Great place to go with your gals, fam, whatever you're looking for this is the place to go!

This place was a nice surprise to find while driving through downtown Newhall on a Sunday afternoon. Once you step through the door, you instantly feel like you're at a tasting room in the heart of wine country. Pretty cool that they source all their grapes from Paso Robles and then make it all on site here. I have learned to not typically expect much from tasting rooms and wineries in non traditional areas, but this place blows away that stereotype. Each of the four wines in the flight were delicious, and I had to take home a bottle of the 2015 Gathering, which was my favorite. Also got to try the 2015 City Slicker, another solid offering. My wife says I already have too many wine clubs, but I may have to make room for one more in the future just because the wine here is so good.

So literally just left. Was told by the bartender to split a glass of wine between me and my friend because he wanted to go home. He eventually served us two glasses of wine and twenty mins later he said you guys need to finish up. I mean wth!!!! I've never been treated so poorly at an establishment! I will never go back there again! Extremely rude!!!!!
