Updated Review: Within 3 hours of posting this review on Facebook, I received an email from the owner's daughter. She was very helpful and offered to send us a gift card. She also said they discussed the problem in their employee meeting, which seems like a great solution. Other than the one (very) negative experience, we have had positive experiences. I prefer the Harmony location over the Drake location, no question about it. From now on, we will be driving to that location rather than ordering delivery from the Drake location. Their pizza really is good, it's thin New York style pizza, and I really love their salads.
My original review: Only giving 1 star because I have to. After being loyal customers to this location for over a year, our last experience was worse than any delivery restaurant I have ever had. I could tell it was going to be bad when the kid answered the phone. He was obviously new, which I understand. What I don't understand was how much of a total jerk he was, cutting me off, clearly not listening, asking me to repeat things while laughing with other employees in the background. I must have spelled my last name 5 times before just yelling it on the phone so he could finally listen.
After the order was finished (15 minutes on the phone, WAY TOO LONG), we were quoted 45 minutes to an hour delivery time. After an hour and 20 minutes, I called and the same incompetent worker answered so I asked to speak to someone else. A different employee told me he would call the driver then call me back. I never got a call back. 5 minutes later, the driver arrived.
He left and we opened the pizza, which was 100% wrong. Cheese wrong, toppings wrong, size wrong. I was so frustrated, so my boyfriend called the store. He spoke to the manager and I'll admit, he was a little heated. He just wanted a refund but ended up yelling on the phone by the end of the conversation. The manager told him he would refund it and hung up on him.
My boyfriend sent an email a week ago through their Facebook and through their website, explaining our experience. He admitted to being heated on the phone and apologized, explaining how stressful the whole process was. We STILL have not received a refund after being told we would over a week ago and have not received any email back.
We will never be back. Ever. I have no interest in giving money to a company and employees that clearly don't respect their customers.
