My husband and I went for dinner to this wonderful place. I’ve been to Portland so many times, and didn’t even know it was here. The food was divine, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was so fun. We played pool, ate some wonderful food,and our server(Carissa)was absolutely lovely. I suggest everybody to come to this establishment when they visit Portland.

I have visited Punch bowl Social several times and each and every time I always have a blast. This place is a great place to visit with family, friends, or even for a fun date. I have even visited with my little boy. Punch bowl Social is located downtown Portland and takes up the entire 3rd floor in Pioneer Square. It has so many things to do from bowling to arcade games, karaoke, a huge Jenga game and Connect 4. To table games and billiards and more. They have several bar stations and food available as well. Street parking available and kid friendly. Go prepared to have a great time!

Ordered the chili bison cheese fries and the lemon curd cake which were both very tasty! Great sharing sizes for 4 and place was very clean. Our server Christina answered all of my questions, was incredibly accommodating with my requests and over all a great server. Definitely enjoyed my experience and would come back again, thanks!

Wife and I stopped in for a burger and a beer after a quick shopping trip. Atmosphere was a little hipster for my usual taste but the burger was big enough to split which I can always appreciate. Ben and Rain gave us both great service. Wish I could remember the name of the beer he recommended me because it was a good one. On our way out Rain said goodbye to us in a playful drawl (my wife’s from Virginia). Made her laugh her socks off. I expect we’ll be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Punch Bowl Social in Portland is hands down the best place to unwind and have a blast! The atmosphere is electric, with a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. The games and activities keep you entertained all night long, and the food and drinks are top-notch. Special shoutout to the bartender Finn, who’s absolutely amazing! Finn’s drink-making skills are incredible, and their friendly personality really makes you feel welcome. Love how Finn goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great time. If you're looking for an unforgettable night out in Portland, Punch Bowl Social is the place to be!

Always a welcoming place!!! Michael, Cris and Zane do a great job of serving me at the bar. They pay attention to the smallest details and can carry on a great conversation. I appreciate them always taking care of me. Even Sky, one of the managers, goes out of the way to turn MLB games on for me. In addition, the cauliflower nachos are awesome and are a great portion size. It’s an awesome happy hour deal. Those pork tacos are some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I shouldn’t forget Adrian or Jesse either. They are awesome on the day shift. They are both super cool bartenders. All these bartenders are an asset to the Punch Bowl Social Club brand.

Had a great time with friends! Josh and Christina helped us feel welcome. They were amicable and engaged with our conversations. Super cool time. They were also accommodating of my friend's dietary restrictions, which we always appreciate.

Our office party at PBS was so much fun! Definitely recommend for a big group looking for a fun time. Josh W. is the most chill server either and he really helped make our evening great, got everyone their orders, and even fixed the karaoke machine when we couldn’t get audio, so he gets an extra star if one is available.

Jaden (no y) was amazing!!!! The best waiter we could have asked for!! And the bartender Bria was the best ever!!! 10 out of 10 would come again!!!

I introduced my lady to the Punch Bowl Social; she'd never been. She was very impressed! The bar staff was amazing! Finn is a superb bartender. We got food, which was excellent as well. I love this place. It's surprising to me how few people have heard of it!

My daughter had a most memorable experience At Punchbowl Social about 8 years ago on her birthday, so when we asked her where she wanted to have her birthday dinner, she was excited to return to PBS. We got there right at 4pm, and was not surprised that there was no crowd. We were surprised to find out that the game room/arcade/pool table/activity side was reserved for a big event, leaving us the restaurant side of the venue. There were 4 pinball machines, a very well worn Janga game (honestly looked like Janga driftwood edition) and a bookshelf full of free board games.‍ No matter, we came to celebrate our birthday girl, and we were going to make the most of our time. We pulled up the menu from the QR code. Our server (who was very kind) explained to us that they had staffing issues and were working off a limited menu, so we needed to wait until she could find enough menus for us (there were 8 of us, and the restaurant was empty) We tried to order 3 different drinks and 2 food items from the limited menu, and they had none of them. We ended up ordering basic beers, ciders and well cocktails. Our server brought out waters for the table. The water was WARM... not room temp, but warm. Drinks took an additional 15 minutes to arrive, and by that time, we started second guessing our decision to celebrate our daughter's birthday here, but soldiered on. Before all the drinks arrived, we were asked to give back the 8 menus we had received, because they needed them for other customers. There were no more than 12 people in this entire restaurant at the time. The drinks were fine, but the menu selection was so limited, and the fact that we couldn't access the arcade or any of the other recreational activities helped us decide to move the party (see my review of Carina's) I want this restaurant, and especially this mall, to improve; which is why I am writing this review. Our server was doing the absolute best she could, but she was put in a very rough position, and I made sure to tip her well.

Had a great time at our company holiday party. I can't remember the person who was assigned to us, but they had a ponytail. They were on top of everything and none of us were ever in need of drinks. After the holiday party some of us went over the the dining side and sat at the bar. Paige was an amazing bartender and kept the conversation light and friendly. She also made some pretty delicious drinks. We will definitely have future company sponsored activities here and I would recommend stopping in and chatting with Paige, it'll be a ton of fun.

Our bartender/server Finn was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab dinner. We stopped into punch bowl and were not disappointed. I got the impossible burger which was soooooo good. The best one I've had anywhere and the fires were sooooo good. She made me a delicious drink that idk the name of but it was great , I had two. She recommended the "whiskey on a diet " drink and my boyfriend loved it and it made he very happy lol Finn was also very attentive and friendly and made us feel welcomed . If your a vegetarian, you'll love the impossible/beyond burger

Fin was bad ass! Fin poured a proper cocktail and made us feel welcome.The games were cool, and tv s everywhere. we will be back.

We are not local so when it came to finding a special location to celebrate my daughter's birthday I could not have stumbled across a better spot. This place is so much fun. They have board games, table games, bowling & giant versions of connect four & jenga. Our server Ben was absolutely phenomenal. He was friendly, funny & made sure we had a great time. The menu can easily accommodate specialty diets for vegetarians & GF peeps. Emily ordered the beyond burger & fries with a strawberry rhubarb beverage. I ordered the cauliflower nachos with a strawberry daiquiri. The servings are very generous. For dessert Emily got the salted caramel cake with a side of warmed cookies & I treated myself to the flourless chocolate cake. We stayed for almost 3 hours & left with a lot of to go boxes. If we were local this would be our spot for sure.

Good happy hour here at this bowling spot. Also a number of TV's. When I went wasn't very crowded, but perhaps it gets busier on weekends or at night.

Braved the down town core with the family expecting to enjoy an evening of fun, games and food. We arrived for our reservation, selected a board game and seated. The severely reduced menus provided were not what was posted on line or provided via QR and two of the major entree options were not available. Drink options were plentiful which gave us the opportunity to sample several as the food took a good 45 minutes to deliver. Food was acceptable given the focus on other activities. We enjoyed our board games and discussed which arcade, bowling and billiard games we would play after. The big disappointment after dinner was the fact that 80% of the venue had been reserved by two corporate events and all but a few arcade games were off limits. Would not have made the effort if they posted the limited menu and restricted access.

Double E (AshlEE)!! We were in town for a cheer competition and needed a place to crash land after a tough day of traveling. Ashlee came to the rescue. She provided excellent customer service, and timely delivery of food and drinks. The kids were able to play games while the parents decompressed. The vibe of the restaurant is fun, the food is great, and if Ashlee is your server the experience will be fire!

Fun place for parties, or just to hang with friends. Great selection of games including bowling, wall scrabble, Cornhole, arcade machines, table tennis, karaoke. We went here with friends for Karaoke on Saturday evening. For rent karaoke room is $55. / hours. I would recommend the, "I'll be your ginger berry" alcoholic drink.

We had a great time with all the kids at punch bowl. Josh, our waiter was so great! Will definitely visit again.

I reserved a regular table for a small birthday party (9) before really checking the reviews, but the event turned out great. Most of the credit goes to our excellent server, Skyler, who went above and beyond. He was very conscientious, prompt, and attentive. It was not an easy task managing our various requests and he did so with a friendly fun attitude. The food quality ranged from ok to great depending on the item. The whisky punch bowl was enjoyed by all. The end bill turned out to be better than I had feared and everyone had a great time. Even the game areas we were told would be unavailable became available as our event went on. Overall and especially thanks to Skyler, the PunchBowl was as a very good choice.

This place looks and feels amazing when you walk in! Post-holidays, my friends and I figured it might be short staffed. Whomever is the operative manager should do a walk thru of all the machines and equipment. There were many games that were out of order or simply did not have the equipment to play.... Which we found out after instating money. When we asked the staff, they did not refund our Punch Bowl game card. The server and bartenders did not communicate well - confusing my drink order - and getting snippy w each other. Typically, bartenders will tell you if you are ordering something on the happy hour menu and will kindly let you know that if you wait a few minutes, it will be discounted. Not here. My friend ordered queso, then 5min later the bartender brings it out with the HH menu (it was on there). It's not a bad place, nor has poor service. Leadership is lacking though.

As a fellow nerdfighter, I greatly appreciate the time and attention of Josh W. Kind, considerate and poised to deal with a bunch of loud drunks, Josh is class act. Thank you for making our night! Also, don't sleep on the chili cheese fries and the buffalo patty melt, yum!

Thank you so much to Ben!! We had planned our whole day around coming for karaoke after our Galentines brunch but the side with karaoke was closed because they were understaffed. But he so graciously let us use one of the karaoke rooms and served us. Thank you thank you thank you! You saved the day!! Otherwise we would have taken our business to Voicebox.

Such a fun place for a group! Came for a work event and the whole team was so impressed with how efficient our server, Skyler was. He answered all of our questions (and we had lots!), gave excellent food and drink recommendations, and made the entire punch bowl experience awesome! I wasn't completely sold on this place before, but Skyler was enough to make me recommend it to anyone looking for fun things to do in Portland!

What a fun spot for famileighs to be able to hang out. We absolutely loved our time and ASHLEE with (two Es) is UHH-Mazing!! Having grown up in Las Vegas and knowing what best in class service looks like- she's got it in spades! She was kind she was funny she was patient and kept the punch bowls coming! Hosting and helping 6 families with 6 girls is no easy task- herding cattle would be easier. If youre looking for great food with some for family this is it! If you're smart, you'll call ahead and ask for Ashlee!!

This place rivals Dave and busters for a good ol adult fun. On a trip to Portland, we brought our 11-month-old child, but still wanted to find places where we could drink and have a good time in the earlier portion of the day knowing that she would be in bed by 7 PM. We heard about the punch bowl and it sounded like an even more adult Dave and busters. We stopped in to have a few beers and play a few pinball machines, and then we saw they had a full bowling alley inside. He played a few games bowling, got to play some video games, I will not feeling terrible that we had a child in a bar in the afternoon. I think this would even fly if the kids were a little bit older. Parents if you're trying to have a good time while visiting Portland I would highly suggest giving this place a look.

Whoa, who knew this place was even here!?! Basically the whole 3rd floor of Pioneer Mall. Their fruity gin Moscow mules are to die for. They have bowling lanes, darts, ski ball, old school arcade games, etc. Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed!! So much fun!

Punch Bowl social was the place for a work team event. The location is in downtown Portland so parking in a parking garage was a must and there were two nearby which meant a very close walk from car to event space. We pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. We had a catered Mexican buffet with all the fix-ins, gourmet cupcakes and two drink tickets. There were only two staff members helping our group so getting drinks took a little longer than normal. The food was delicious and their Mexican spread was super filling with three different meats, beans, rice, tortilla, shells and chips and every topping you can think of. My favorite was the pickled onions and guacamole. We had options for bowling and karaoke and several tables and seating areas throughout the space. Overall a good corporate event with many things to attract all kinds of guests. I was disappointed that they didn't validate parking after spending that much.

Josh W I would highly recommend him! He is amazing! Was very additive and consistent with not just drinks but food! If you need a guy it's him! I'm not going to have anyone else help me going forward. Th am you Josh for hosting our company party! You e done a great job!

Sensational nachos and well-mixed cocktails. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Punch Bowl Social Portland. A wide selection of adult beverages and freshly prepared options.

$25 PER PERSON for an hour of bowling?! ABSOLUTELY INSANE, for the quality of the bowling. No music in bowling area, speaker system sucked. Food was not great, my salad was alright, but my chips and queso was gross and plastic cheese. The bowling was constantly needing fixed, balls were not polished and all sticky, games were uncleaned for lord knows how long. Everything was slightly sticky and or dusty. I ordered 2 drinks and both were majority water. I paid $6 for plain bubble water with a slice of cucumber and slice of strawberry.... And the service was great though! Our server was fantastic. But I also got overcharged! They charged me again 2 days after I went.Do not waist your money here. If you are going to pay $25 per person for an hour of bowling it better be some amazing lanes and great vibes. Go to king pins instead. After all of that though it was a fantastic party with great people.

We had a work party there recently; the food was okay, the games were great, but not for ping pong. Where the table is located, there is no room to play, and the lighting was terrible.

Food sucks my nachos were soggy Af Cauliflower nachos taste like poor quality food over price garbage even my salad was more dry then a British comedy the mule was good tho can't go Wrrong with a basic mule in a overpriced wannabe be trendy spot god this place sucks

Totally dead in there, but bartender and server on duty did their best to stare at us and make us feel super uncomfortable the entire time we bowled. Complete rip off and terrible food as well.

What an amazing place! I couldn't believe my eyes when my friends first brought us here. There is everything here! Bowling, bars, and we had our own karaoke room. That was the best. We were in that karaoke room forever and it was sooo much fun singing, you could just look up songs on your phone. Thank you, punch bowl social!

I wish we had these in Orange County! What a fun bar and bowling alley! This place is huge, they have two whole sections on the top floor of the mall. Bowling is by the hour, we came on a Sunday early afternoon and didn't have to wait at all. I could see this being an awesome spot to rent for birthdays or events . We tried the watermelon punch bowl, it was enough 4 people to each have about 2 drinks each. Not too strong, but also not too sweet. This was such a fun find in the middle of downtown, you could easily spend an hour or two here hanging out, bowling, grabbing drinks or a bite to eat. I would highly recommend stopping in!

I give it 1-star because the food was mediocre! On the other hand, the service at the bar was horrible. I probably just had a little bad luck and got a bartender with less personality than a rock! He has ZERO people skills. Maybe he should consider a different occupation.

Fabulous happy hour!! The food was so good and my pride punch drink was fabulous. Our sever Liz was amazing and Andrew is awesome! I'm visiting from out of town and I'm so happy we found this place. I highly recommend it.

In all honesty, this place is preettttyyy bad ass. I wish we had one in Washington. I mean, I know we've got similar spots but I don't know... Punch Bowl Social is truly one of a kind. My husband and I came here to kill some time during our trip to Portland. We checked out the entire place before picking a spot to hang out and discovered they've got just about everything. Bowling? Check. Shuffleboard? Check. A bar? Check. An outdoor balcony overlooking the city to enjoy drinks? Check? Steel tip darts? CHECK. Pool? CHEEECK. Arcade games? CHECKKK. And, a restaurant. Amongst many other things here and there. We decided to grab a beer and play pool. The place was nearly deserted so we got awesome service and didn't have to wait for a thing. We were pleasantly surprised to find out the dad beers on the menu were tall boys of Olympia, and they were $3 at the time. Hell yeah! Pool was $12 an hour which I'd say is a pretty standard price to play when it's not happy hour. Pretty cool spot for a fun date or to check out with friends. Definitely would return if I was a local.

Excellent service, we were well taken care of. Had the NY strip steak and it was outstanding. Lots of fun stuff to do too!

The food and service was absolutely spectacular! A fellow named Zane was the highlight of the evening with his amazing service and patience with my family, since English is their second language. His hospitality skills and amazing lively attitude had even made my stubborn Persian dad even smile and have a good time. Definitely coming back again because of you and the amazing drinks you serve

Thought we were popping in for an afternoon game of bowling and ended up staying until 10:30pm. What?! We could just shift from thing to thing. ADHD? No problem. Service was friendly and although it lagged at times, they always found us (yes we kept shifting to new activities).

Food and drinks were pretty standard. Service was sub par. No one really paid attention and they kept asking us to move. Three times we were told there were reservations at random tables or bar tops but no one showed. Staff was pretty dismissive, just didn't feel welcome and would not be coming back to this place ever again. If I'm going to spend money on food and drinks I'd like to feel welcome and happy. Wings were 6 for $15 and just wasn't that great. The only reason for the second star was the bison fries were really good. Went to play games and are the arcade games buttons stick. Couldn't shoot one of the guns. Like come on put a little money into your games.

The drinks were amazing and so was the food. Our server, Skye, answered our questions and was super nice. The food came out insanely fast and the manager came to check on us. My favorite place on my 9 day trip!

We went for my brother's bday, and it was a large group of us so I made sure to call ahead to inform them there would be 12 of us. When we walked in, I was surprised to see it empty which was great, figured we'd be in and out. 3 hours later, the last person finally got their meal and another received a part of her meal an hour later. We asked for her toast more than 4 times. There were many ticket errors as well. The lack of business really did not explain the extremely slow service. The food was fine but the service was seriously lacking. (This was in December but just got around to review.)

Stop by to check out the punch bowl while cruising around in downtown Portland with my wife and 14 yr old son. It was a little later but they said we were cool until 11 with a minor and welcomed us. It's upstairs and u have to go inside mall. It's a super cool spot with all kinds of stuff to do pool tables, bowling lanes , arcade,ping pong, Darts etc. staff was super friendly especially our bartender Zane I believe was his name and the young lady working with him l. Both were way cool and on top of the service food was good and came our fast. Would definitely hit this place up again

was here for a company event; fun to play skeeball, bowling with coworkers, four-player pacman, watch coworkers sing karaoke. managed to bowl a strike on someone else's turn. good fun for a few hours we had the space

Kind of hard to find for about of towner, but once we found it, it was a nice time. Could use some updates/refresh. The seats were split and that reflects an general image they wish to reflect. Food was tasty and very reasonable in price. They close early during the week so our time was short. May visit again sometime.

I needed a last minute (like literally planned 4 days in advance) location for my boyfriend's surprise birthday party. I knew he'd want karaoke and we'd want food, drinks and other activities. Thankfully Katie was a huge help in getting our private event planned. Our event server Ryan was a total rockstar. We all had the best time. Would definitely recommend hosting an event here.
