I forgot my favorite shirt with the saying: "wish you were pizza" but was pleasantly surprised to see the "pizza addicts only" on the door which gave me a good chuckle.
I met up with my friend who wanted to eat a salad and I countered with wanting pizza and suggested, "why don't you get your salad, on your pizza? You could call it Salizza" I mean I thought it was rather witty but after looking at instagram it's really a thing and sadly I can't take ownership.
But I digress, let me get to the important parts, the meal:
I ordered the fried mozzarella balls to start, the sauce was great 10/10, but the balls were cold which was a huge disappointment. Still, I ate them, they weren't cold like frozen cold they just weren't even warm.
The pepperoni, tasted great, but it tasted very salty and I don't understand why. The dough wasn't burnt too much, a perfect blend between burnt pieces and un burnt. (The last time I ate Neapolitan pizza, the dough was charred and I've been scarred ever since)
My friend ate his salizza without any issues, so if that's your thing he said it was delicious.
The interior has a classic pizza shop feel, great decor, not too many tables but it has a bar and outdoor patio. You walk up to order and they bring you your pizza. Some may scoff at this but I like it. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was polite and friendly.
My only issues were they don't have Caesar salads, and the mozzarella balls were cold.
