"The positively petite Pure Pizza (say that five times fast) embraces true seasonality, with farmhouse-style pizza, local farm-to-table ingredients, and seasonal offerings. The wait times can be long, but the cute 10-inch pies (or big ol’ 16-inch), like the Lil’ Weezy Five Cheezy with mozzarella, smoked mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, goat cheese, and a house special secret sauce, are great. Stop by any day of the week to pick up a pie, eat inside, or dine on the outdoor patio." - Nikki Miller-Ka

Google
Finally got to a place I’ve been meaning to try for a while, Pure Pizza. They started out in 7th street market, moved to a place on Central and now found their forever home on The Plaza (Juli, the owner, said they bought the place, so they don’t have to rent anymore). Pizza was great, top 5 in the Charlotte area for me!!! Kaiden and I split the Sloppy Don, which is extra sauce, extra cheese, extra pepperoni and extra black olives (I got my half minus black olives of course, since I’m a fan of the classic pizza- cheese and pepperoni only). Jen and Jeff got the wild mushroom pizza and really enjoyed theirs as well! Unfortunately there was an issue with their system and our appetizers came out about a minute after our pizzas, so didn’t get to properly enjoy those, but they were very good once we got to them. Jen loved the Brussel sprouts, don’t see those at a lot of pizza places. We had 5 in our party and the only options for sitting inside are 3 small two person tables, one counter/bar with 4 seats and another counter/bar with 4 seats. There are six picnic tables on the side, but there were quite a few bugs when we tried to sit there. Best seat is the large table on the porch by the entrance. Juli said they are working to get a way to enclose where the picnic tables are, so that will be awesome if they can get that worked out! Drinks are by the can and there is a 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card. All in all, great little place with a really nice owner, nice variety on the menu and great pizza! Easy parking as well! We will definitely be back!

Google
New location for 2025 in a great spot on the plaza in between Plaza Midwood and NoDa. A good mix of appetizers, salads, pastas, and pizza. Service was wonderful , food was great too.

Google
On a road trip with my family 1/3 of us are gluten free due to celiac. We found this place on find me gluten free app and it’s the best pizza I’ve had in a minute. They had extensive gluten free options and everything we tried was delicious! Everyone was so nice and the place was clean too. I wish we lived closer because we’d be regulars!! The only way it could’ve been better is if they had more seating inside, but it was all amazing

Google
The pizza was amazing, crispy with great cheese pulls. Only problem was that the garlic knots were just bread with cut up garlic clovers on it. This isn’t the type of place that changes your world view on food, but it’s a great place to go to once and a awhile if you don't mind the summer heat!

Google
Love Pure Pizzas food. But this last experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered online and even though the app said error my order went through, unfortunately twice. Instead of taking a more concerning approach to the error the hostess was very condescending and said, in a smug voice "well you'll have leftovers". I didnt ask for a refund and I wasn't too sad I got two of my favorite pizzas but her tone and attitude will definitely stick with me. I loved Pur Pizza on Central and always got pizza while I was downtown but now, I have a reason to drive by the new Plaza Rd location.

Google
Hole in a wall type place! Located off Central Ave. Friend and I decided to come for lunch. Arrived around 130ish, and the parking lot was EMPTY! you walk in, place your order at the counter, and then find a table, and they bring the food out for you. I ordered the chorizo personal pizza with Brussel sprouts. It was DELICIOUS! Pizza was made fresh, and the combination of chorizo with the radishes and lime they gave you gave it the extra kick! I definitely enjoyed that pizza and could've eaten the whole thing if I didn't stop myself. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. Grilled with all the spices, which made them flavorful and not just plain. The sanitation score was a bit low, 96.5, and the bathrooms had no soap in them and a broken toilet. Makes you wonder if the employees actually wash their hands if and when they use the bathroom. Superised at how it was empty when we came during lunch hour, which always makes me wonder what is wrong. Either way, my pizza was delicious, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items, but given the low sanitation score, I wouldn't come out of my way either. A big plus, though, they do have their own attached parking lot with PLENTY of parking spaces, which is always a plus, especially off Central Ave. Also, im not sure why this is coming up off The Plaza Rd. But this is located off Central Ave in front of Modish Nail Spa

Google
Hands down the best pizza in Charlotte. Having lived in NYC and New Haven where great pizza is easy to come by we were struggling to find a pie that wasn’t too salty or greasy in Charlotte. The margherita is pure perfection. We’ve been ordering from different spots over the last year waiting to find the ONE and this is it! The search is finally over.

Google
the pizza was very tasty with fine pasta and good ingredients, quality. I found the right price for a wood-burning pizza. I came here on a Sunday night and there was only one customer in the house. The request came out very quickly. The place looks a bit old, but I understand that it is part of the decoration of the place.

Nina Q.

Yelp
Portnoy would probably give them a 7.5 You know it's going to be a good spot when as you're walking in, people are walking out saying "I'm so excited to eat this I can't wait, I'm taking a peak." Pure Pizza delivers a great classic pizza, more on the thin crust side which I like. Great cheese ratio as well! Highly recommend!

Yelp
My friends suggested I try Pure Pizza and It was delicious. I placed the order online and everything was ready to pick up in under 30 min. I ordered 2 10' pizzas. One pineapple jerk and the other was the pepperoni supreme pizza. The dough was perfectly crispy and chewy and the toppings were so great together. I also added on a caprese salad. The mozz was fresh and the arugula was perfectly crisp and peppery. I definitely want to go back and try other items on their menu! 5 stars in my book :)

Gregory B.

Yelp
Really, really good pizza. Not too saucy, just the right amount of toppings. The sweetness of the peppers was really good. The price for the size was a bit much, but taste alone it was 5/5.

Bells B.

Yelp
Dined here for the first time and was not impressed by the salad. The chicken was cold and seemed like it was bought and not cooked on site. The pizza comes in two sizes and the smaller one has an option of an ancient grain crust. The pizza itself was flavourful and my party loved theirs. I was disappointed that they didn't have wings because that's always my go to when visiting pizzerias. The hostess was kind and gave me a side of pimento cheese which helped the taste of the salad. If you like pizza, this is a good local place to try and support.

Jules H.

Yelp
16" Cheese Pizza with chicken: My boyfriend said he would give his 3.5 stars and said as someone from NY he thought it was quality pizza. Gluten free pizza with basil and garlic: 2/5 stars Not impressed, but it wasn't terrible. The pizza had a ton of oil on it. Given the price of the sides, I was expecting to have some noticeable garlic. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back there again. Farmer's side Salad: Pretty good side salad

Bocchino J.

Yelp
Must try pizza spot in Charlotte! Straight up good 8 out of 10 in my opinion. Been there a few times at this point and clearly keep returning so good pizza in Charlotte.

Tyrone S.

Yelp
Worst wings and pizza in Charlotte bro don't waste your money these are frozen out the bag Tyson wings the chicken in the pizza not real chicken. Never again

Christin N.

Yelp
Ok So definitely would have got another star if they made my pizza correctly and wasn't so expensive for quantity of food. We got 10 inch Slap your Mama Pizza which they forgot to put ground beef on which was extremely disappointing , Mushrooms Appetizer they were some chopped up mushrooms with garlic and a sprinkle of goat cheese for $8, and 2 side Caesar salads they were just ok based on salad dressing but greens were very fresh and yummy homemade croutons. $30 plus tip Overall Ratings Mama Pizza Mushroom Appetizer Caesar Salad On a side note the ingredients of pizza were very fresh and seem to be GREAT quality! Very Greasy but I did add garlic and I'm thinking they used garlic oil. I probably wouldn't return to far and pricy for what you get and I'm not close, I drove 20 minutes to get it.

Yelp
I was finally able to try Pure Pizza, but I was a little disappointed. I ordered their 10" cheese pizza and 10" margherita pizza. Sadly, they do not do 16" half-and-half. They came out pretty quickly, which was really nice. But they were a lot smaller than some of the pictures I had seen on Yelp. Small size aside, I also thought they tasted simply good, but not great. It's hard to explain, but I think their sauce lacked dimension. Their dough, on the other hand, was very delicious. Seeing as how all their other reviews are generally high, I probably ordered the wrong pizzas. Their specialty pizzas do look yummy, as do their sandwiches. Helpful note: They have you place your order and pay upfront. Then they bring your food to your table. The lady that brought our pizzas out was very kind and brought us napkins. She was also diligently sweeping the floor nonstop, which is no surprise as the entire restaurant was very clean.

Natalie P.

Yelp
The best pizza I have had in Charlotte so far! I ordered the T. rex (which is essentially a meat lovers pie) on a Friday night. It took about 25 minutes to prepare. $24 in total. The pizza was delicious. It had such a generous portion of meat! The cheese was so fresh. The dough was the perfect texture. Each bite was soooo good! The 16" pizza was 8 slices and good for 2-3 people. Parking is a bit of a disaster, but once you get there, it's great! Indoor and outdoor seating.

Kate T.

Yelp
Pure has always been bookmarked, but I have never made it, and now after relocating to the area and that I can practically walk to this location I had to try them out. The Farmer's Salad was amazing, a nice spring mix with radishes, carrots, onions and goat cheese with a balsamic dressing. As for the pizza, I created my own, thin, but not too thin crust, with a fluffy crust. I ordered pickup so cannot weigh in on too much on service, but from my pickup experience it was good. Definitely look forward to my next visit and trying some other pizzas they offer.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Delivery was right on time! Thought I would try a new pizza place and came across Pure Pizza. I'm not sure what most are used too, but my 10" Pizza was sad for $15. 16 pieces of pepperoni and a sprinkle of meat? For a Craft Meat pizza, looked nothing like the picture. The pizza itself was ok, but I have had much better.

Ed S.

Yelp
Great service. I was the only one in the restaurant for half of my meal at lunch on a Tuesday. It was a bit of a letdown that the only beverages are in our refrigerator by the counter. However, the pizza was truly stellar. I've had Pizza in about 30 states and at least as many countries. I don't have just one favorite pizza; I have about a dozen. I have a favorite, California style, favorite, York, style, favorite, pizzeria style, favorite, Chicago style, favorite, frozen pizza, favorite, Neapolitan style - - you name it. I consider myself a piece aficionado. This pizza was excellent. I ordered a large (because I'm not a fan of tiny pizzas- which was the only other option did they had) -- and I ended up eating most of it! I will be back. Just wish they had fountain drinks. Note: One of my other all-time favorites in Charlotte is Portofino. Interestingly, the pizza baker at Pure previously cooked at Portofino.

Zhana E.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza spot in Charlotte! I love dining-in or delivery! I went for lunch to dine-in. The staff is super personable and I like the casual vibe, it feels like a pizza shop I grew up with but with super fancy pizza! Delivery is normally pretty good. My favorite pizza is the mushroom pizza it is delicious! The apps are great as well, my go-to's are the broccolli or the roasted mushrooms. And don't forget the bread!!! The knots are aaaammmmaaazzzing, and I've contemplated just ordering those for my meal. Overall whether delivery or dine-in you have to try this place. It is my go-to pizza spot.

Jas K.

Yelp
The basic cheese pizza I order literally tastes like eating rubber I wish I could get my money back.

Nerissa W.

Yelp
I like trying new places with my mom while I'm visiting. So I was craving pizza and the reviews looked pretty decent. We walked in to place our order and it came out pretty quickly, an employee even brought it out to the car. The pizza was yummy! I ordered the weezy 5 cheezy, I'm not sure what the secret sauce was but it was good addition. It looks like Buffalo sauce but it's not; there's no spice to it and that was good for me since I don't like hot sauce. We most definitely will come back to try another pizza.

Michelle Q.

Yelp
Tried this place a whim and wasn't disappointed! I wasn't terribly hungry so I shared the lulu with my fiancée and it was enough to tide us over. The flavor was really great, pimento cheese on a pizza is so NC and unique! I wouldn't say it's a classic pizza place in terms of a thick crust and tomato sauce, it's more thin crust. I do wish there had been more tomato sauce to give it that pizza feel but the ingredients are really fresh and delicious. I will be back again!

Derick T.

Yelp
We have ordered from Pure for several years, principally because our son has to have the sprouted grain crust. I ordered online tonight for pickup, paid the extra $2.50 for a sprouted grain crust, only to find out when I arrived (by a tiny sign) that Pure no longer offers that crust. When I asked about it, the young woman up front went to the back, presumably to talk to a manager, then returned to tell me I needed to deal with ChowNow if I wanted a refund. Pure has no internet presence, no Facebook page, and no obvious way to contact them other than a phone number -- answered by the same young woman. We will not be back.

Kennedy F.

Yelp
Great spot! Prices are a little steep but the food is worth it. Their craft pizzas are the way to go.

R T.

Yelp
The pizza tasted very good - the crust was well done and had the right chew. However, the prices are ridiculous! The base cheese pizza starts off costly and then add a few toppings and you are paying $40 for the pie. It would be one thing if the toppings were generous - but so skimpy we weren't even sure we got what we ordered. Too expensive for what you get. Their neighbor is actually tastier and much less expensive!

Kirby N.

Yelp
Very nice place on central, ample parking. Inside seating appears closed off, we enjoyed a nice day on the patio. The food is spectacular, I loved how they curated the veggie rolls. The bites came with marinara which complimented it well The pizza was a hit! 7.4 in my book, strong score. The crust was amazing and crisp. They suggested a honey sauce which did make it pop

Kati R.

Yelp
This spot is the go-to for me and a few friends. We have a routine get together every few months and always order delivery. It's so delicious and there's options for everyone. We usually get the she-Rex, the Margherita, and the wild mushroom. We've tried almost every vegetarian pizza they offer at some point, though, and have always been satisfied. The sizes are perfect, the dough is a perfect texture, and the toppings ratio is just right. Plus, even ordering it as deliver, everything is fresh and hot on arrival. I look forward to my friend nights because I know it means Pure Pizza. I'd order it more often but it's got that special tie-in with my friends so I can't bring myself to order it for just me... yet ;)

David S.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE The wait time is extremely long. Much longer than ANY other pizza establishment! When I complained about it the owner was very rude and nasty!

Martin T.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza for down South. I'm probably a more harsh critic as NY City pizza is the vede and always will be. The pesto pizza is solid.

Ray X.

Yelp
Always fresh and amazing, the wild mushrooms, margarita, and white pie are the best around Charlotte! And that is coming from a 23 year Brooklyn NYC resident. The Greek salad and dressing are always on point and a perfect pairing with some pizza. Kudos, I will continue to satisfy my pizza cravings from here.

P S.

Yelp
Great pizza, awful service. We came on Thurs. July 17, 2021. My girlfriend ordered a vegan pizza from the young girl at the counter. We were served a pizza that had real cheese in it. When my girlfriend went inside to correct this mistake, the young girl at the counter gave her a lot of attitude. The young girl gave word to the cooks to make it correctly, but by then we were not confident that the pizza hadn't been tampered with. The young girl at the counter brought our correct pizza in a to-go box even though we were staying to eat. Passive aggression is very unprofessional, and not something I tolerate. I'm unsure why we were being mistreated, but I assume perhaps it could have been an instance of racial discrimination as my girlfriend and I are people of color. I would not recommend eating in at this establishment since it appears they cannot afford to hire quality service staff. The pizza itself is pretty good though so maybe stick to delivery.

Kathryn T.

Yelp
Not bad, not great. A little overpriced in my opinion for what you're getting, but it does the job if you want a pizza!

Jay T.

Yelp
This is the best pizza in Plaza Midwood by far. The flavor combinations are fantastic or you can create your own but the crust is what separates them from the rest.

Cody P.

Yelp
If you're going to pay $22 for a tiny ass dinner, they better get it right. Pure Pizza has a partnership with Postmates, but what I ordered off of Postmates "isn't a real order" according to Pure. " It's not even on our menu." Is what they told me.... We were supposed to get a jerk pineapple pizza and a brownie with vanilla ice cream. I called after not receiving the full order, and they said that they don't even have vanilla ice cream. I said that was bs because it was on the menu I ordered from, and the girl on the phone said there was nothing she could do. "Try Postmates." I said I wanted my money back for the dessert which was misrepresented, and I told her that I would cancel the entire order with my credit card company unless they made it right. The girl on the phone hung up on me instead. Guess I'll be calling my credit card company after all... Also, double your f**k ups double your fun!! When I looked at the actual pizza, it wasn't even the pineapple pizza I ordered, it was pepperoni!!! They can go blaming it on Postmates all they want, but they are responsible for the incompetence. You sent me the incorrect items, you didn't own up to it, you hung up on me when I showed it a little dissatisfaction, and thus you will never get my business again. Only thing PURE about this company is the propensity towards customer dissatisfaction....

Lucas B.

Yelp
Pure Pizza is my. kind. of 'za. To start things off, we got free garlic knots with our check in on Yelp! Love that. The marinara sauce with the knots was legit, and we made sure to keep the leftover to dip our pizza, too. I had a side caesar after the knots and before the pizza that was pretty good as well. I think it was butter lettuce in the salad which I'm not a huge fan of, but the salad was cold, served in a cold bowl, and the dressing and croutons were good. On to the pizza. The way the pizza is made, I'm not sure exactly how to classify the style, but I know it's what I look for in a pizza and it reminds me of what I used to eat growing up. Flavorful but not overbearing toppings/sauce with a slightly thinner than your regular hand-tossed crust that ends up being super crunchy. It's an A+ pie in my book. I got the Slap Yo Mama Lasagna pizza that included Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Ricotta, ground beef, onions, garlic, herbs. It was SO GOOD. Nothing too fussy but still a ton of flava in ya ear. Going through the menu, there's also a good variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options if you're into that kind of thing. My girlfriend got the She Rex - Mozzarella, mushrooms, onion, peppers, topped with greens tossed in lemon vinaigrette, and the slices I had of that were also real good. The next time I get pizza that is not way way too late been drinking too much pizza, it's 100% going to be Pure Pizza.

Chelsea C.

Yelp
We were in town on a quick trip. We desperately wanted good salads. The pizza was a bonus. The salads were so fresh and flavorful. The pizza delicious too! Great food and well prices. We had our order delivered and there were no issues with our order (which is super rare with delivery)!

Kate S.

Yelp
I really really really wanted to LOVE Pure Pizza. I love everything it stands for, with the local ingredients and the laid back vibe. I loved the servers, who were very down to earth and friendly. The only problem, we really did NOT love the pizza. :( The ground beef on my husband's pizza was very bland, even for someone of milder taste. The gluten free crust (which I know can be more difficult to make at times) was totally soggy and lacking in flavor as well. Two things we did really love were the garlic knots (delicious! coated in real garlic and olive oil) and the salads. The salads were a good size, fresh, and full of delicious flavorful ingredients. They were basically the opposite of the pizza. I'd consider coming here again, but only for the salads and appetizers and maybe a drink. Definitely not for the pizza. At the end of the day, if I spend $15+ on a personal pizza, I expect it not only to have top notch ingredients, but to taste delicious too. Walking away from our meal (garlic knots, brussel spouts appetizer, two salads, two personal pizzas, and one beer each) we did not feel like what we got was worth the $90 bill. If they work on the gluten free crust texture and the flavor of the meat, that would seriously improve things. The vibe of the place is phenomenal, as were the garlic knots and the marinara that came with the knots. The rest just paled in comparison.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
It's a cute spot, and occasionally they have specials that bring the prices down, but as a whole I just think it's way too expensive for what you get

Sarah M.

Yelp
We picked up some pizza, garlic knots and a Greek salad Togo and every bit of it was great. I'll definitely order again and I found out that on Tuesdays they offer BOGO pizzas!

Hashenda B.

Yelp
I like way more seasoning and a sweeter red sauce but everything is still really really good for me. The staff was nice and parking wasn't a hassle. I'm definitely coming back and will probably get the exact same thing - xtra garlicky knots w/10" Slap Yo Mama Lasagna Pizza....It's the freshness for me. Plus I'm 7 minutes away.

Bethany W.

Yelp
BEST IN PLAZA MIDWOOD! (And there is a lot of good pizza around here...) Consistently delicious, nutritious, and creative pizza with an impressive array of fresh salads and sides. Portions are generous and service is excellent. Pro tip: ask for the chipotle ranch for crust dipping!

Savannah D.

Yelp
Not impressed with the pizza, but the garlic knots were good. We got a cheese pizza, mushroom pizza, and garlic knots. Should've ordered from brixx or hawthornes

Mario M.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to make this place our stop for dinner tonight. When we pulled into the parking lot, we both had dejavú. I nice place name LuLu's used to occupy this space in the past. I checked in with yelp, so we got some free garlic knots with our order. Very good by the way. On Wednesday it's $3 drafts night, so I was in my element. I enjoyed two beers with my dinner. My wife order a gluten free pizza, which she said was oks we are still trying to find a place with a good gluten free pizza. The journey continues. My pizza was good. Not memorable, but good. Our waitress seemed a little off. Almost like she was new to the occupation. Not very with it, but my wife and I were happy, so it was all good. I'd like to recognize Tina, an employee that came by and chatted us up. She was very friendly, and I would actually come back to hang and talk with her. She should be lauded. Will we come back? I doubt it. Too many choices around town to settle for an ok experience

Victoria B.

Yelp
I'll start of by saying they make their bread from scratch and it is phenomenonal. They're Italians are my favorite in the city. Hands down. The side salad was yummy. Service was decent. It's a bit out of the center of plaza midwood, but still close to the main strip.

Cara P.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a Monday night and it was not very busy. The restaurant has an old rustic feel and the bathroom decorations are super cute. I decided to order a custom pie and my friend order a pie off of their menu. Both pizzas were really good and very fresh. I believe every table is brought a jug of water but we had to ask for ice. If you want a soda it comes in a can so be prepared. We will be back.

Alex C.

Yelp
TAKEOUT. So if you like Neapolitan style pizzas and kind of different flavor combos, this is a great spot. I traditionally prefer that style of pizza...that style tends to favor fewer toppings but Pure has a bunch of really unique flavorful pizzas and you can always customize one. They aren't cheap. But I think the ingredients make them worth it. My pics have the Buffalo pizza where the hot sauce has a perfect medium type heat with buffalo flavor. The crumbles absolutely set it off though. Good size side salad for 3.50 with a pizza. Asked for extra cup of dressing on the app (yes, they have an app). They make them quick. 10-15 minutes if ordering takeaway. I frequent them and will post more pics of my favorites

Taryn R.

Yelp
I was on the fence about Pure Pizza after having only visited their 7th Street Market location but this Plaza Midwood location won me over! The old house it's in is adorable. I came for a lunch meeting and we lingered for a couple hours, just chatting and plotting to take over the world. There wasn't a crowd, btw. We weren't total jerks, taking a table when others were waiting. In fact, when we left at 3pm, we were the only ones in the place. From the minute you walk in the door, you're greeted by the smell of pizza crust. Can someone turn that smell into an air freshener for me? Seriously. My mouth started watering immediately! I had grand plans of getting a salad but the minute I smelled the baking dough, it was a lost cause. Pizza all the way! I ordered the Chorizo pizza and regret nothing! It was delicious -- greasy chorizo balanced with sliced radish, red onions, fresh tomatoes, cilantro and a lime wedge that I squeezed over the entire thing. All on the sprouted ancient grain dough because that's healthy, right?! It was such a unique flavor combination and I loved every bite. In case all that wasn't enough, they also offer up Cloister Honey to dip your crust. I had the bourbon honey. It was totally gross. Trust me. You shouldn't order it. I'll just take on the burden of eating all the bourbon honey for everyone. ;)

Yelp
INITIAL THOUGHTS: I was pretty disappointed by this place since I had visited their website and saw all the awards they had won so the expectation was pretty high. I just wanted to get the pizza as take out and wasn't staying for a table. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was about 75% full and I only saw 1 server working the whole dining room. So my first impression of the place is that no one is there to greet me or take my order. Maybe people are laid back in Plaza Midwood and don't expect much, but note to owner: HIRE MORE STAFF. The guy at the counter who was actually making pizzas acknowledged me, took my order verbally, and made my pizza. By the time the server actually rang up my order the pizza was ready. So you do the math on how long I waited to pay. THE FOOD: I ordered the truffle knots and gluten free pizza with chicken on top. The knots were a little burnt, and smaller than your average knot, but you got 6 of them in an order. The sauce to dip them was not thick enough and turned into a runny mess down your hand. The gluten free pizza crust was one of the WORST I have had in Charlotte. It was this puffy, under cooked, looked and tasted like wheat bread. The cheese looked and tasted gross. I picked off the chicken topping and ate only that. I threw the rest of it in the trash and stopped in the Dairy Queen down the road for an ice cream to get the gross taste of the place out of my mouth. Basicly, bad all around and won't be going back. Waste of time and waste of money. Triple unhappy face. :( :(:( ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER PURE PIZZA WORKER COMMENTED ON MY REVIEW: For the record, I LOVE pizza! I HATE crappy pizza that I spend my hard earned money on and have to throw out in the trash. My review is clear and highlights their issues so they should work on that. Also, they should be able to handle criticism of their place when there are problems. Maybe they don't care about first impressions and greeting people at the door. You have been warned!

Yelp
My food was great, a vegan pizza, until we all lost our appetite when my friend found this ALIVE in her salad. When shown to the restaurant, they did not want to give her a refund at first; "our lettuce comes from a locally sourced location that does not use pesticides, we wash the lettuce but sometimes things fall through." she was thankfully given a refund but can't say I will ever be back. Sure some things may fall through, but something this size and alive was very unsettling - and the staff made it seem like it was nothing.

Yelp
I was disappointed in the pizza here. Tasted like cardboard. Service was ok. Would not recommend to others.

Yelp
Great food and cozy ambience! Also good vegan options. It's come in handy when needing a vegan option for friends. I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday for brunch with a Groupon deal. They have a parking lot at the central location. The establishment has an eclectic vibe. The place was probably an old house made a restaurant which was unique and crafty. The food is reasonably priced. The service was good. I had the palmetto sandwich which came highly recommended by the server. It was just okay for me. My friend had a mushroom pizza which was okay for her. We had the garlic knots which came in a set of 4 they were made fresh. We had mimosas which were okay as well. Nothing stood out as delicious or extraordinary. The floor shook tremendously with each step the waitresses took. Overall it was okay but I don't know if I would pay the prices without the groupon deal. I like the fact that they have gluten free options and 100 whole spouted grain. It may be bette in the evening.

Yelp
We don't eat a lot of pizza but decided to order one to have while watching a zoom event. We had the mushroom and garlic and it was great. Great flavor and not to much crust. One large pizza is good for three people, but if there are four you may want something to go with it.

Yelp
This place is so good! My friends and I decided to try a lot of different things together and literally every item was delicious! Our favorite was the Veggie Tuck n Rolls. I loved how there was an original menu and a vegan/vegetarian menu, this made picking out our food easier. On top of the super friendly staff woman that helped us pick out some of these items. We sat in the restaurant but it was clean and the staff continued to wear mask which is much appreciated for me. I will be returning the next time l visit the area. Pure Pizza was PURE LOVE
