The 12 Best Restaurants In Inman Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"If you’ve just come from walking around the square with your friends, Pure Taqueria makes a decent stop for coastal Mexican food. Inside, it’s a kaleidoscope of teal and yellow pastels with plants everywhere, which gives it a fun, beachy atmosphere. We usually order the tasty fried shrimp tacos with flour tortillas and pair with a sweet watermelon margarita, but skip the too-hard tortilla chips. Head out to the large patio when you want to people-watch." - jacinta howard

Pure Taqueria - Review - Inman Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Pure Taqueria is a Mexican restaurant in Inman Park that’s a decent stop for big groups. Inside, it’s a kaleidoscope of teal and yellow pastels, and there are plants everywhere, which gives it a beachy atmosphere that’ll make you feel like you need to brush off imaginary sand before entering. Order the tasty fried shrimp tacos with flour tortillas and pair it with a sweet watermelon margarita, but skip the too-hard tortilla chips. Pure Taqueria Review - Inman Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"There are three things you want after a long walk or run on the BeltLine: a cold margarita, a snack, and somewhere to sit in the shade. Luckily, you can find all of those things just a block away at Pure Taqueria. Besides having a big covered patio and serving great cocktails, their menu includes everything from empanadas to ceviche to tacos served in handmade corn tortillas. Grab a drink and recharge for a bit before you head back out on the trail, or just get a second round and make an afternoon out of it instead." - Sarah Bailey

I popped into Pure Taqueria on a hot Tuesday afternoon, craving some yummy tacos and curious to see what all the buzz was about—especially since the patio is always packed. I ordered the Skinny Love margarita and a fish taco. The margarita? So good. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and definitely the highlight of my visit. The fish taco, on the other hand, didn’t quite hit the mark for me—nothing terrible, just not memorable. Overall, I’d come back for the vibes and the drinks, but I’m not rushing back for the food. Great spot if you're looking to sip something good and soak in the scene.

Google
This is by far the best Mexican food place in Atlanta. The location is easy to get to, the food is super affordable, and the taste of every dish is amazing. Make sure to get the queso con todo - their chips are SO good.

Google
The place is well located, spacious, has seating inside and outside the restaurant, the food was very good, the service was good too. But there were some insects crawling on the chair and the wall, I think the place should take better care of this, and the cleaning of the bathrooms too.

Visited on National Margarita Day with my husband and was both surprised and happy that there was seating available. We got there a little after 9pm and we seated right away with menus. While they didn't have margarita day specials they did have a Dip & Sip special for Wednesdays and Thursdays. It's $39.99 for a regular or plus margarita pitcher and either queso or guac. Our server greeted us and we ordered the plus pitcher with guac and continued to look over the menu. We were brought waters and the guac came quickly after. The chips were housemade and had the right amount of crunch and salt. Guac needed a little extra salt and pepper, but overall really good. The plus margarita was perfection. I ordered the Veggie Burrito Ahogado while he ordered 2 Birria Tacos and 1 Carne Asada taco with rice and black beans. We continued talking and eating the chips and guac. Food came and we were ready to eat. Presentation was good and so was the food. My burrito was flavorful and filling. He enjoyed his tacos and thought the rice and beans were ok. Overall it was a great time. Nice ambiance and staff. The only misstep was there is no indication, nor was there a mention, that the plus margarita is $4 more. I didn't even notice until a day later that they charged me $43.99 rather than $39.99 because if I had I would have addressed it.

Google
We enjoyed it all. Queso con Todo (if you like queso) is fantastic! It was devoured before I could think about taking a photo. The chicken tamales had good amount of chicken. My family ordered enchiladas and plantains. The Cazuela is a tasty bowl filled with grilled chicken, grilled veggies, pico de gallo, rice and beans topped with avocados. Chicken empanadas are my favorite.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 😍😍😍 my first time visiting this place, and I had a BLAST. My pictures said it all...credit to the bartender and my new friend, Pan!

Google
The food was nasty. Food was so spicy my sister could not eat. Not only that I ordered food and it came back out with mushroom and I’m highly allergic. I asked them to remake my order the waiter said that he did not put my order in the system because he said he thought I did not want it. I waited a hour and a half for food and everyone was done eating by the time they brought my food. Just to come out and a boot on my car and I was at the restaurant. The lady said I did not go in the restaurant but I got all 3 of my receipts. This was the worst mexican restaurant I ever went to I will never come back. I also had to wait a hour and a half to get the boot off.

Yelp
I enjoyed this spot so much that I came back the next day! Our server Katelynn was so great! She was attentive, helpful, kind, and funny. The food was so good. I started off with appetizers and of course had to get chips and guac. Best part is the chips are homemade so they are a bit thicker and so delicious. Also, the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Also, we did order the chips and cheese if you are a fan of nachos and cheese, you definitely want to get this dish. The cheese was so good creamy flavorful and delicious. Next, I ordered the steak burrito, which was something that Katelyn recommended amazing. It was a great portion, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The burrito was rolled perfectly. When I came back the second time I ordered the shrimp tacos, and I was very excited because it was fried shrimp and I can tell you right now. It was absolutely divine. The flavors were on point. The shrimp was cooked beautifully and the other thing I ordered that you definitely want to get your hands on is the empanada of the day When I went it was a shrimp and empanada, and it was absolutely amazing. My goodness it was cooked perfectly. One of my favorite parts was the drinks I ordered a strawberry frozen margarita as well as a pomegranate frozen margarita and they were both amazing shout out to the bartender. He is so great. He knows what he's doing. So you can easily see why this restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my list

Yelp
Stopped in here for a quick drink before moving on to VinoTeca across the street. The bar set up they have here is spacious and well lit with plenty of TVs for the sportsball fans. We were served right away, and our bartender was attentive even though we were only here for a quick drink. Their list of margaritas was comprehensive, love a good selection of margs to make me rethink and ponder ordering anything other than my go-to margarita on the rocks with salt. You can't beat a classic, am I right? I ended up opting for the skinny margarita since we were going to keep drinking and I wanted to start off with something a little lighter. Can't speak to the food here but the dishes that were coming out looked pretty tasty. Solid stop for a margarita.

Yelp
Really cute spot just off the beltline! They also have a free parking lot in the back. Skinny love marg and mojito were great. They have a pitcher & dip deal for $40 on Wednesdays and $3.50 tacos on Tuesdays. You could tell the chips were fresh, and the portions are large enough that we both had leftovers. The burrito was really good but a lil spicy. The quesadillas weren't your traditional quesadillas (not served in a tortilla). They use corn-mesa turnovers and stuff the toppings inside, which was unique and really delicious. Overall food was great, drinks were great, service was great! The only (very small) complaint was that their Coke was served in a can and not out of a fountain lol.

Yelp
If I could, I would eat here every weekend. The food is tasty, drinks are flowing, and the indoor-outdoor style is so fun. Setting: Inman park across Beetlecat; this location is easily accessible by walking on the beltline. Parking can be tough in this area! Service: Kind waitstaff who check in frequently and give you time if you're a little too busy chatting with your girls (like I am). Food: The guacamole and queso are next level. I also love the rice and beans that come with the mains, so flavorful and hit the spot!

Yelp
My son needed magazines for a school project and I drove all the way from Lithonia to Brookhaven to purchase cheap FB Marketplace magazines. Only for the seller to text me that he left. So since I work remotely and had my laptop with me, I decided to wait for this restaurant to open so my trip wouldn't feel like it was all for nothing. I had never been to this restaurant before but I wanted something good to eat and this looked like just the place. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender to make me whatever he wanted. He made me a margarita with a little jalapeño and a tajin rim. It was good! But that spice definitely got me in the back of my throat. I asked him for his recommendations and then chose the Salmon con Vegetables. It's salmon, fingerling potatoes, onion, corn, spinach, mushroom, avocado, pico de gallo, and queso fresco. I asked him to switch the salmon for the red fish. Then I asked if it was going to be filling or should I get rice too? He said, "how about I bring you the meal as is, and if you want rice, I'll bring you rice?" I said ok but asked for chips and queso. And here is where I fell in love. He brought me a side of chopped jalapeño! I didn't even ask. But, I guess, since I asked for the hottest hot sauce, he must have just known I like a kick. I was like, oh this guy is a winner for sure! The chips and queso was so doggone good. I don't know if it's cause I was so hungry or what but, that didn't taste like the chips and queso that I make or have had before. The food, hands down, was phenomenal! If I'm ever on that side again, I'll go back. With tip, I spent $50.

Yelp
I love Pure's food so this review is NOT about the food or service. I watched a young woman park her car on their lot, and saw their parking lot attendant running around, watching where she went. She did leave the lot, and the parking attendant sprinted back to her car and immediately started booting her. She could've easily let her know that she isn't allowed to park on Pure's lot and walk away, instead she watched her walk away so she could make a buck off her. Practices like this are so damn predatory and are all about making money.

Yelp
Pure Taqueria in Inman Park is the perfect Friday night spot! they have a wonderful patio that was able to sit me and my 6 girlfriends. the margaritas are delicious and priced around $12. you do have to pay for chips and salsa. we all tried something different and decided the quesadillas were the most delicious option. we even finished the night with a round of pineapple infused tequila shots for only $5!

Yelp
So many taco places but I love This one cause or dog is allowed on the patio and they have some great drink menu for cocktails

Yelp
Gotta love shrimp tacos! Perfectly seasoned, breaded and cooked then placed in a corn shell with slaw- this is the menus best item. This location is always busy, filled with large groups and those on dates- therefore service does their best to be swift and attentive, however I recommend you know what you want and get the order in for everything the first time. Great margaritas!

Yelp
The server I had was great and most of my meal was good but the overall experience of the restaurant has decreased as of lately. The manager is pretty rude. I've encountered him on two different occasion's and asked my questions nicely( about menu changes or seating etc) but both times he acted as if he hated to talk to patrons. He was a little sarcastic. Anyway.. I enjoy the tacos , burritos, and in the summer I always drink the margs ..and I love how they are mostly skinny/organic.

Yelp
Fresh margs and delicious snacks in the heart of Inman Park- what could be better? We found our new neighborhood spot on a recent weekday afternoon visit, and thoroughly enjoyed a couple fresh margs at their wide and accessible bar. Their chips and queso were great, especially when paired with a couple sides of their surprisingly fresh and authentic salsitas. While the arbol was delicious, the salsa de aguacate was enough to melt this Texan's heart. A nice spot for drinks and conversation, and a low-key alternative to some of the other, more stuffy spots in this neighborhood.

Yelp
Nice food and drinks, maybe a little overpriced for what you get but I am absolutely appalled by the lack of consideration for families with infants at this establishment. We were shocked to discover that there was **no baby changing station** in the restroom. It's 2024, and it's beyond belief that a restaurant in the heart of Atlanta, a city that prides itself on hospitality and inclusivity, fails to provide such a fundamental amenity. People have babies, get with the times....

Yelp
Ummmm... this is my second time here and was actually looking forward to visiting this location a second time. But I'm experience was less than stellar. I almost felt as if I was a burden or getting on their nerves. They definitely did not come to work to work today. No one was at the hostess stand, and both of the server and the bartender was at the bar on their phone. Looked and fail to mention that you can seat yourself... trust me the service is usually better than this but I do believe that they are extremely short staffed today and maybe not be too excited about that. The restaurant itself is super cute. Kind of like a 60/70's vibe with some natural plant life. And being that i am a plant mom I feel that makes this place even more special. It's cold here today but usually they'll have the place opened up. Definitely a indoor/outdoor thing going on. Definitely recommend visiting when it's warm out. The entire front of the building is made of garage doors which all go up SUPER COOL! The food is delicious. I have zero complaints when the food is involved. The cooks did exactly what they were suppose to do in the kitchen. The Totopos de Salmon is a warm tortilla chip topped smoked salmon, red onion, jalapeño slice, cilantro and cheese. It's the perfect little bite. It's refreshing and tasty, it's legit the combo you didn't know you needed. YUMMMM!! I also ordered the shrimp tacos. The come either fried or grilled and with a spicy mayo and a slaw. They are at best a 6/10 but still delicious. They maybe a little dry or missing something. I haven't been able to put my finger on it. The drinks are nice and strong like how I like them Pure does have a full bar but I prefer their margaritas. Trust me 2-3 of those depending of your tolerance will have you feeling great. Parking can be a bit complicated if they are busy. There are parking lots all over but it is paid parking but I highly suggest parking along the street. It's free and convenient.

Yelp
Pure Taqueria is a great addition to this little Inman Park dining district. Our server was one of the friendliest I've encountered in Atlanta, the kitchen was liberal on both chips AND queso, the tacos were outstanding, and the prices-- unlike every other trendy taco joint-- were actually reasonable. Pure Taqueria may not have the personality of Fritti's, quality of Soto Soto, trendiness of BarTaco, or name recognition of Ben & Jerry's, but it's still one of the best restaurants on the block.

Yelp
This is a location I will absolutely stand by. I have been to the pure in Alpharetta multiple times but this location is the absolute best!! The quality and consistency is always so good and the service is top tier! I came in a group of 3 on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately on the heated patio. Our waitress gave us some amazing recommendations! We started off with the chips and queso and oh my god it was so good. The queso was great and the chips were so fresh! For my main, I got the quesadilla con pollo y queso which is basically fluffy tacos and wow!!!! They' we're fire!! The black beans were great but I always forgot I don't love the rice and just need to double beans. Someone else in my party got the flautas and loved them too. Overall 10/10

Yelp
Amazing service with a great ambience! I orded the Limonada agua frescas and the Pollo con Tequila y Limón for my entree. I enjoyed the patio seating and the food was really good! They have a variety of dietary options which is a plus. They label items specifically for gluten free, gluten free option, vegetarian or vegan. My meal was gluten free and they were able to make it without dairy.

Yelp
AUTHENTIC ! Great tasting food ! Firstly this is located in the perfect area! Great summer / spring time dining experience . Secondly , the food taste so authentic and was made quickly and fresh ! I've passed by several times over the years and finally gave it a try. First bite i wondered why i had never given this place a chance ! Everyone at my table agreed !

Yelp
The margarita was fantastic! PAMA makes everything better! The chips and salsa were delicious. I could've eaten the whole basket by myself. Definitely have to order the chips and salsa. This is a fun, casual place to grab a quick bite.

Yelp
Cool lil spot. Went on a Taco Tuesday around lunch time & I was surprised it wasn't a wait. I sat on the patio for a good view.. good service!

Yelp
I visited here on a Friday evening with two friends. We ordered guac and chips for the table and for meals we ordered pollo taquitos, vegetable burrito, and birria tacos. The chips were so crisp and I believe are made fresh daily and you could really tell with the flavor. The guac was good, but nothing extraordinary. I had the pollo taquitos and I would say they were okay, don't see myself ordering them again. There were a lot of options on the menu which was a little overwhelming, but maybe something else would have been better. The place was not super busy, but a bunch of people were at the bar. The waitstaff was super attentive and helpful. The restaurant and area was super cute and welcoming. There's a parking garage a couple of blocks away that had free parking.

Yelp
I had a great time and experience at Pure Taqueria. I decided to try their enchiladas and house margarita - yum! The service was on point and the restaurant was super clean, as well as beautifully decorated. What a lovely addition to the Inman Park area.

Yelp
Not much to rave about except the nice waitress . Food needs more work and improvements . Nothing that stand out in my mind and stick. Wish it could have been better . Drinks are decent not much to go on about it.

Yelp
We decided to come to Pure Taqueria for a late lunch. The place was pack, but very cute. The music was pretty good too; mix of 90s & 2000s pop. They mixed in a few Beyoncé tunes, so I was happy & vibin. My sisters had been telling me about a salmon appetizer at pure for a few weeks now, so of course I was excited. Unfortunately they were out, so then they said I should try the crab fritters... the waitress informed us they were out of those too. By the way, our waitress was AWESOME!!! We ended up getting the guacamole, which was so good we ordered another. We had a few mock tails, because my sister is pregnant. I later had a strawberry margarita, and it was good. I then had Fish Tacos... I'm not sure what my sisters order, but I did attach photos. The food was really good. We'll be back for that salmon & those Crab Fritters lol!

Yelp
I give PT 3 stars but probably wouldn't come again voluntarily. I ordered the blackberry thyme margarita, it was tart like I liked but lacked depth (it wasn't strong, but still tasty). For an appetizer I got the chips and salsa. The salsas were mild and not quite memorable. The chips were very thick/heavy - would not get these again. In short, bland. For my meal I got 2 Birria tacos and one fried grouper taco. The grouper tasted fresh, not greasy or too thick with batter. The birria tacos were surprisingly very flavorful, and you could taste the melted cheese, but again, the birria lacked depth, and the salsa it came with was also crazy spicy so beware. The service was fast, so that was appreciated, but all in all I probably wouldn't come here again if I'm looking for delicious Mexican or Tex mex. It's always crowded but I'm not sure why. The search for a top tier Mexican restaurant in ATL continues!

Yelp
Not a fan! I had their chips salsa guac and queso- and nothing besides that was good. The chips were perfect in taste -- the guacamole was good. Ordered this shrimp thing they had, and honestly it was pretty bad. Not too impressed but if you want to start your evening here and then move along then for sure it's a great spot to start your evening

Yelp
We've visited this location twice so far since having to adapt to the new covid protocols and each visit I will say we've been pretty comfortable with the set up. Both visits we've opted to sit on the patio and were spaced apart enough from the other patrons. On our last visit there was about a 30 min wait but they have a few tables/ bench set up outside in the front where you can sit and also enjoy a drink from the bar if you choose which we did. Our first trip we chose to stop in for a few drinks and also had a some Queso con Todo with was the perfect amount for a quick bite for the two of us. This trip we dug a little deeper into the menu, of course I was still sure to order some chips and queso as an app because that is by far my food weakness more so than bread. I ordered some Birria tacos whcih were very tasty and flavorful and the bf ordered a Shrimp Cazuela bowl which came with a lot of things in there which was i think a bit much for him. It had pico, avocado, zucchini, onions, peppers, beans, mushrooms, salsa, rice and then also some shrimp in there I suppose lol. But it looked like it was full of great flavors and I'm sure they could've customized it and taken a few things out if he read through it entirely and asked. Overall we enjoyed it and def plan on stopping in again. Parking is a bit tricky especially on the weekends but we were lucky enough to find street parking right across the street from it and it was Sunday so it was free to park. Also, if you're already on the Beltline eastside trail or at PCM its not that far of a walk to stop in and grab a bite. Its right across the way from bartaco.

Yelp
An extremely clean & disinfecting establishment with a friendly team of employees throughout the restaurant. We sat on the patio with the necessary space between the tables, a downloadable menu & Hand Sanitizer readily available. I was more for company oppose to eating, although they will accommodate dietary needs somewhat. You can't go wrong with Chips/Salsa/Guac, or you shouldn't especially at a Taqueria. My Gal Pal enjoyed her Pesco Tacos & Margaritas, so a cool patio outing in the heart of "downtown" Inman Park. I was disappointed with the wine offering & the pour, no fault to our Server Ali who was great. Decent prices for the portions & windows galore to enjoy the scenery. Dogs are allowed on the patio.

Yelp
I had such a crazy morning that by the time we got to this restaurant I was completely over the day. I just wanted some food in my belly because we were so hungry and to go home and go to sleep. We ordered margaritas (because we had a long day and needed something to take the edge off). It didn't come in the huge glasses that are at more traditional taqueria's but they were pretty good. I ordered queso immediately without looking at the menu, but when I saw they had empanadas I had to order those as well. The queso was the perfect consistency and texture. It wasn't too watery or too thick. I promise it was just right and the chips were fantastic as well. The empanadas of the day were chorizo and I could've only had those and been satisfied with the rest of the meal. The taste was exquisite! My mouth is watering all over again just thinking about it. After having the queso and empanadas, the cazuela bowl was too much to eat so I did have to take it home but my first few bites of the bowl were excellent. Extremely satisfied with the food and the service at this restaurant. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Went here for dinner on a Friday night to catch up with a friend. It was pretty busy at the time. We got a table and ordered a couple drinks along with 2 orders of 3 tacos. I got the lamb, she got the pulled pork. For 2 tacos its about $12, 3 tacos for about $15, so its totally worth it to go for the extra. The taco places come with rice and beans, you can choose from black, re-fried, or charro beans. I asked for double beans so we could try all of them. Charro were my favorite flavor wise, sitting in a dense "soup." but quantity the refried beans you get the most, topped with a bit of queso fresco. The tacos were awesome. The lamb was rich and succulent, served with a dipping sauce and little side salad. The pork was a sweet savory combination with cheese and pineapple and just enough spice to make it interesting. Cocktails were reasonable priced and were not full of sweet/sour mix. Will likely be heading back to try more.

Yelp
Really good food, fast service, reasonable prices, and fun atmosphere. I have been here many times and will continue to come back!

Yelp
This place is awesome! We came here during 4th of July weekend and were able to be sat within about 20 minutes. The service was great (our waters were always full and she was not buzzing around us constantly) The food: We started with queso and chips which did not disappoint whatsoever. Super cheesy and great chips. I got Fried Grouper Fish Tacos. They were gone within about 5-10 minutes as they were incredibly delicious. There was a lot of fish as well so they were not skimping you of any of the main ingredient! I also thought the rice and beans was exceptional. The beans were very different than other refried beans I've had. In a good way that is. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here and would come back to try other dishes. Highly recommend giving Pure a go!

I was in the neighborhood and was looking for somewhere to have lunch after noon then I attend it. I will send it quickly. Their menus are digital. I'll order chips and salsa which is a charge. It's not like most Mexican places when he does bring me chips and salsa. I believe it was four dollars for the chips and salsa. But I will say that the chips and salsa were really good. I liked the chips, I just think they needed maybe a little more salt on them but I enjoyed them. And the sauces were good. My lamb burger was really tasty. I know it's weird to go to a Mexican restaurant and get a hamburger. But when I saw it on the menu and how it was described it just sounded like it was going to be so delicious. I even asked my waitress what she would choose and she said the lamb burger. The burger was cooked exactly how I asked. The feta cheese would melt it perfectly on top. The fries were OK. I could take them or leave them but the burger was the true star of the show. And it did not disappoint. It was good but nothing I would say I have to go back to over and over again.

Yelp
Don't eat here unless you like literal metal screws. I was eating a chicken taco when i bit into a screw and almost broke my tooth. I spoke with a manager and they seemed like they didn't care/ didn't do anything about it.

Yelp
Amazing time at Pure! No wait on a Saturday night, which was surprising and great for our party. Our waiter Nate was top notch and so kind! He helped some of our more undecided members with their orders. The margarita with Tajin rim was the perfect mix of spicy and acidic. Plus $4 tequila shots! Can't beat it

Yelp
I usually don't give reviews but I really wanted to like this place...only to be sadly disappointed. I figure it's my duty to share a realistic review of this establishment with others so they're not deceived as I was. Here it goes: PROS - The packaging...the best I've seen in delivery packaging so far! I was thoroughly impressed... so much so that I was prepared to give this place five stars based on that alone. Look...I even took a picture of it! That's how much I loved the packaging. But like the saying goes...You can't judge a book by its cover. CONS - The seasoning... What seasoning? This is probably the first time I've ever had a proclaimed authentic restaurant be blander than the food at the hospital. Furthermore, it's probably the first Mexican restaurant that I've patronized that was so under seasoned. I actually had to add a little bit of seasoning to "liven it up". - The plantains...They were a bit undercooked. On the outside it tasted like an actual ripe plantain but the more I bit into the center, the more it tasted like I was eating a raw plantain. I was able to digest it by throwing it in the fryer to cook a little more. - The sandwich...I had the torta Cubano that look appetizing but when I bit into it it was a grave disappointment as there was no seasoning on either of the meats on the sandwich. Additionally, the bread was the chewy used ciabatta bread I've had. I wound up throwing it away. - The oil...An abundance for absolutely no reason at all...especially considering the lack of seasoning. Again, I doctored it by adding some seasoning to it so that I could just eat it since I paid so much for this order. As I got to the bottom, I was astounded at the amount of oil that was at the bottom of the bowl (Check out the pic). Needless to say, I have no plan of ever returning to or ordering from this restaurant ever again. Two stars were given just for the packaging but this was definitely the biggest waste of $50 that I've spent in a long time.

Yelp
Beltline is on my mind...the reviews will continue to tell you how it is, based on my actual experiences. So...within 1 minute I was greeted...given a menu and was asked for my drink order (wha?) and it was busy! So ordered a skinny margarita. Add on their version of chips and Salsa. Had a chicken quesadilla. Nothing simple or average about any of these items. The quesadilla is unique in the fact that it eats more like a corn empanada. The chips? Best in town and the salsas are fresh and independently flavorful. So far my pick for #1 for service (hands down) and cuisine on Atlanta's Beltline. Kudos to Pure Taqueria! Delicious Dinner.

Yelp
I thought the food was alright. I had tacos - one fish and one steak. The fish taco had a large piece of fried fish and the steak tacos had a generous portion of meat, as well. The flavors definitely taste on the "Americanized" side. My friend and I also split a guac - I liked that the tortilla chips were freshly fried. The guac itself lacked a lot of flavor in my opinion, and needed more of everything - lemon/lime juice, cilantro, salt, etc. I'd probably come back and try other things, mostly because I liked the music and atmosphere.

Yelp
I really want to give Pure Taqueria 5 stars but I just can't. This was my second time giving them a try after a previous bad experience and I just wasn't happy! The service was awesome, but the food just can't compare to their competitors. During this particular visit we had margs, guac, tacos and a burger. The drinks were good, but the guac was blah. It was watery, not well blended and just didn't have enough seasoning to win me over. The burger was okay, but again the seasoning was lacking which threw me entire taste for the sandwich off. I have nothing against this place, I've just gathered it's not my style! They have a great menu to choose from, but after trying it out a couple of times it just doesn't work for me! I must say that the service at this location was much better and the ambiance is awesome! They are also conveniently located on the belt line so it's easy to leave here and hop over and take a scenic walk!

Yelp
I am a regular here at Pure! I come at least twice a week. Today; Sunday January 7th, I came in to watch the football game and have a few tacos! Upon entering I was greeted by the host with an eye roll and never asked how many I was with. I was seated and sat for 30 mins while the server who was suppose to greet me kept looking back at my table laughing with a colleague as she continued to vape which reeked of marijuana as well! I had to get up to ask the host if someone was going to serve me today; at which point the host took my order and continued on about her day. The manager then came over and attempted to address the situation; her resolve was she comp'd my coke and my dates sweet tea lol! This place is a joke and has been going down hill for quite some time! Here's a suggestion... hire some staff that actually cares about providing good customer service - rather than just blowing vape smoke in customers faces!! Update: after this review initially posted; the manager then came back to my table to advise that our meals were comp'd however after being accused of lying on this review.. all makes amazing sense right? I was accused of lying about the time I waited.. which I was 4 mins off. I waited 26 mins instead of 30.. my apologies for rounding up. What type of manager that's trying to address a mishap comes back to the table to make more of a scene!? After I was accused of lying - no other employee came back to the table to serve me in any way shape or form. Rather than continuing to try and make this a good experience for me considering the poor initial impression; it was made sure of by the manager that my experience got worse by having no service given to me for the duration of the time I was dining! Not for nothing; It is clear that the employees and management of this place have a little bit more than a customer service issue.. more like borderline discrimination problem. Great way to start off 2024 Pure Establishment and I definitely did not expect to walk into this level of employee chaos considering this used to my one of my favorite go to taquerias!

Yelp
Good food and staff. Only reason I am giving this 1 stars is because of the parking situation. EPS manages their parking lot. I parked in a spot for Pure Taqueria customers, ate at the establishment, and I was booted. Manager was nice enough to talk to me but couldn't do anything. I submitted a dispute and will update my review after I hear back from EPS parking services. I was booted for no reason. Doesn't make me feel great about going to an establishment like Pure

Yelp
Basic as basic can get. I would only come back of I wasn't starving and happened to be in the area but couldnt get in somewhere else on the same street. I had the fish tacos and it was just very lime tasting. Beans and rice were pretty bland. No chips and salsa unless you order and pay for it. (Who does that???). The house margarita was decent though.

Yelp
Was craving tacos after a walk on the Belt Line so we came here to try it out. This was my first time here so I didn't know what to order. My friend said the fish tacos were really good and when I checked Yelp a lot of people said the same. I didn't really want fish even though it sounded really good. I ended up getting the Camarón o Pescado, for which I chose the Camarón. It has fried shrimp, poblano slaw, chipotle mayo, cruda tomatillo salsa. I usually get flour but I forgot to change it so I got it with corn and for once I didn't mind it! I added the green salsa and it was absolutely delicious! I'd definitely come back for these tacos.

Yelp
Pure is pretty solid...the food and drinks are consistently good. They have pretty healthy choices. I've gone to this location and their Alpharetta location several times. Since COVID they feature contactless menus which is nice. My last visit was ok although the server ordered something I didn't ask for; I was hungry so I didn't send it back. It wasn't bad for something I didn't order lol

Yelp
I was invited by the Marketing coordinator to give Pure Taqueria a 2nd chance so I did just that! I appreciate that this company cares to make a good impression on their neighbors and other patrons. Thank you to Pure for the opportunity to try the restaurant our again. This time around, I had a much better experience with the food! I ordered the shrimp empanadas for a starter and it was probably the best empanada that I have ever had. Tacos were pretty good. I really liked the fried fish taco (not pictured) The steak dish was a 3/5. it actually tasted better the next day when I brought my left over for lunch. I think that it was missing chimchurri that was listed in the menu description. The refried beans here are NEXT LEVEL. I really really really like whatever recipe they use The service on this visit was still below average. Our waiter was not attentive and moved very slow even though we were one of the only tables in her section.. not impressed but you win some, you lose some when it comes to severs.

Yelp
Stopped randomly into the restaurant based on a quick search of their menu. I set myself up thinking they'd have mojito options that I'd like (my favorite drink) but their menu had lots of generally good Mexican options that would add one ingredient I didn't want or like. Example - queso w/ pickled jalapeños. Didn't try the pickled jalapeños so queso was fine but nothing spectacular. Actual chips were literally burnt and left a taste in my mouth so wasn't pleased. Didn't have another batch so maybe that's just how the nachos come. Tried chicken taco with plantains. Loved plantains. My guest liked the tacos. And I tried a seasonal margarita that was very lime-y despite it being flavored with blackberry. Overall it was something to try on a stroll through Inman Park restaurant area. Wouldn't go back for anything.

Yelp
Drink: Frozen Skinny Pomegranate Margarita Food: Guacamole, Salsa, Chips, 3 tacos (Shrimp, steak, and chicken) They have a free parking lot, but it is very small. I waited about 30 mins, but it was national margarita day so I expected that wait. At first I was at the bar and the bartender was very forgetful. He did have a lot of people to deal with so I will give him a pass. I decided I would rather take my chances at a table to get better service. I wasn't impressed with the drink. It was missing the pomegranate flavor for me. I prefer sweet. The guacamole was really good. It had great flavor. The chips were good also. The green salsa had absolutely no taste so I wouldn't get that again. The server even gave me fresh chips and salsa to take home. Great flavor. I was disappointed that I couldn't order one lamb taco separately. I was told that you had to order two or three lamb tacos. I wanted to try out a few options so I decided to get one steak, one chicken and one shrimp. I only ate one taco and that was the steak because I was full. The steak taco had good flavor. I was told that the fish taco was good also. Another disappointment is that it didn't come with rice and beans, but I ordered that separately. The pinto beans with rice was really good. The beans are cooked with bacon. I would definitely come back especially to try the lamb tacos. I do have to mention Raul (I hope that is his name). He provided excellent service.

Yelp
This place was very charming and it has very comfortable seating as well. I sat in the booth at a table and it was so comfortable; there were a bunch of pillows there which we so soft. The food was absolutely delicious as well. I had the huevos rancheros which were excellent. Their chips are AMAZING! Also had a mimosa which was tad strong for my liking. Nice service too- didn't have to wait for a table.
