Puttshack Mini Golf Opens In Miami, Florida - Eater Miami

"Chicago-based indoor mini golf bar and restaurant Puttshack has made its way to Miami, debuting its fourth location in the United States inside Brickell City Centre. The 27,000-square-foot space boasts three nine-hole competitive mini golf courses alongside plenty of food and drink options. The atmosphere at Puttshack leans more nightclub than a golf course, where players can partake in neon-lit rounds of mini-golf set to tunes by on-site DJs using the company’s proprietary technology that automatically tracks their golf score (aka no “miscounting” can happen in the score). Those wanting to take a break from the action can grab a seat expansive outdoor terrace that overlooks the Miami cityscape. The food and drink menu offers just about something for everyone, with a high-low variety ranging from wood-fired Thai octopus to fried chicken sandwiches. Expect a variety of flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of shareable bites. The cocktail offerings are ample, with a range of signature cocktails, beers, seltzers, wines, and shots available. And as part of its give-back program, Puttshack Miami is pledging $1 for every purchase of the “Miami Tailpipe,” a sharable spring roll dish with chimichurri pork, ham, cheese, black beans, and grilled pineapple served with mustard and sweet chili dipping sauces, to Girls Make Beats, a nonprofit organization aimed at expanding the female presence in the music world. Puttshack Miami is located at 701 South Miami Avenue in Brickell City Centre. It’s open Sunday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Thursday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Reservations for mini golf and dining can be made here." - Olee Fowler

Really fun, cute place it was our fault we came in late around 9:50 pm I definitely recommend coming with enough time, one thing I did not like was that staff turned on the lights early at 10:50pm we had like 2 holes left I wish they let us experience the whole Put shack hype until we finished it Our game. By 11:03 pm we were done and walking out of the building.

We were here with a 4 year old child. We had a lot of fun! We were there on Wednesday afternoon, there were few people and it was very convenient. 2 games went by very quickly, such excitement and many, many positive emotions! Nice staff. I highly recommend it for a holiday with children and for a date with husband 😉 consider parking for at least 2 hours, better for 3. it's very nice to walk around the shopping mall, the place is great! we decided that we'll come here again!

The mini golf section was fun! A bit short but fun. My friends and I had a blast. The restaurant side needs a little work. The waiter wasn’t attentive; it took a while for us to get one once we were seated. Also be careful with the patio at night. The water sprinklers turn and if you’re close to the bushes you will get soaked. The restaurant couldn’t do anything about turning it off. So be careful where you sit!

We wanted to do something different from the bars and decided to try this spot out. It was so fun. My only complaint is i wish the courses would have been a little more in depth and longer. But I understand its a fast paced bar environment. Would definitely come back. Plus the view of the city was so beautiful from this location.

Super fun every time I go. Cute date idea as well with decent food and drinks. Almost everything in one place. I highly recommend 10/10 😊.

We absolutely loved our experience for 9 holes of indoor mini golf. There are 3 course options to play. The golf ball is digital meaning you don’t have to keep score manually. After playing, you have the option to sit down to eat a meal or have a drink at the bar while a live DJ is spinning beats. They have other locations around the US. Please come to Oklahoma City or Norman, Oklahoma as we need one here too.

I went for dinner on Monday, and while the food and games were perfect, the waitress (Janina) was only present when taking the order. We didn’t have plates or cutlery when the food arrived, so we had to ask for them at the bar. She also didn’t bring the bill, and we had to pay at the bar. The place is great, but the waitress provided very poor service.

1.) The golf ball technology was so cool, unique, and fun. Easy to learn and pick up! Went for a first date, and we both loved it. We got to heal our inner child. 2.) Each round was so different and cool and we loved the holes to add or take away points to raise the stakes. 3.) The staff was friendly and helpful. I don’t remember all their names, unfortunately. But Tammy helped us with pointers on playing and educated us about deals we could receive, which was great. Honestly had some of the most fun I had in a while. 4.) Everything was so organized and clean. 5.) On a Tuesday at 2, there was hardly anyone. Not too loud or crowded or anything. It was perfect. 6.) The waiter and hostess were very informative, nice, and just great customer service, honestly. They were so nice. Our waiter always had a smile, positive attitude, and was extremely attentive. To the point where I was surprised, because it’s hard to find that in Miami these days. 7.) The bao buns with the vegan option (Jack Fruit), was AMAZING. It had the perfect amount of tang and spice in it, the crunch from the lettuce and radish was perfect. And the presentation was beautiful. Both aesthetic and tasty. The bun itself was the most fluffy and cloudy bun I’ve ever had. And I’ve had bao buns from many different locations. But this is the best I’ve ever had. 8.) The cookie and ice-cream dessert was amazing. Loved the extra chocolate chips inside and the glaze on top made it top tier. 9.) Pricing is appropriate for the amazing food. Good deal. 10.) The Shirley temple was so flavorful. Not watered down like a lot of others places do. 11.) The atmosphere: We ate outside and it was beautiful. Tables were set and clean. Beautiful scenery for pictures. Overall rating: - 10/10. - Perfect for families, dates, networking, outings, and events. - I will be coming back again and recommending this place to others. - The staff…absolutely amazing. Will not forget their kindness.

Yelp
This place is fun! Specially if you come with a group. I love the tech where whoever puts the ball to start the game, the system automatically detects you and adds/rests your points. You can order drinks as you play and every station has a table to put your drinks on, I ordered the spicy margarita and it was great. There is also space to go and have dinner after or before your game and the food was delicious!

Yelp
Good place for a quick bite and mini golf with a rooftop balcony and outdoor seating providing great and friendly service. Blackened mahi mahi sandwich was delicious, the ahi tostones was a bit too gingery for me, but it would be a good choice if you love ginger!

Yelp
TLDR: Save your time and money and check out other activities in Brickell instead. The service here is practically non-existent. We decided to check out Puttshack in Brickell because it's new and trendy, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. While we did enjoy about 15 minutes of fun on the putt-putt course, the pricing is outrageously high for just 9 holes. To make matters worse, the Emerald section was closed, even though we along with 10 other parties were pushed to this course after booking the reservation. When we arrived, there was something blocking the way to the Emerald section, but there was no guide or signage explaining that it was offline. I only found out it was closed after asking for help, which was met with a dismissive wave--no verbal communication whatsoever. When I finally walked all the way to the other end to speak with someone else, the response was condescending. They essentially told me I should have known better and that the system was supposed to reassign my reservation. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I was told they actually had to manually reassign it, but the entire interaction left me feeling belittled. The lack of organization and poor customer service here is astonishing. For a place that markets itself as a premium entertainment spot, the experience was anything but. It's no surprise that this location has been getting such poor reviews.

Yelp
Can you hear with my little sister for a girls night out. I made reservations on their website that you have to pick up timeslot when we arrived. We just have to enter information at the kiosk and then we were directed to the appropriate area where we needed to start. This is a two level Facility in case one floor is busier than the other. You can go to either floor. The concept is nice and easy to follow and keep track of points. Definitely a cute night for a date night or a group get totgether. I didn't try the food because the server actually recommended this restaurant called Henry's. She did recommend some options from their menu, but we decided to go to Henry's instead.

Yelp
Puttshack is a ton of FUN!!! Located on the 3rd floor of Brickell City Centre. You can't miss it. Look for the big "P" sign. Haha. If you're looking for a fun spot to play high tech and modern mini golf? This is your spot. You don't even have to keep score anymore. This place is so tech saavy, each mini golf ball in linked with your info. No joke! It's that fancy ya'll. Each game is a 9-hole mini golf game. They have several different courses too pending on amount of players or how busy they are. We pre-booked our large group of 9 people. When we arrived, we checked in. We were early so we went and grabbed a bar lounge seating area and ordered food. We got a few different appetizers: * Korean BBQ Bao Buns * Sweet & Spicy Brussels Sprouts * Thai Fried Chicken Bites * Margherita Extra Flatbread * Pepperoni Buzz Flatbread The food was surprisingly tasty! We loved all of the dishes we got. The Thai Fried Chicken Bites were so good and different for chicken nugget style food. Can't really go wrong with the flatbread. Bao Buns are always a good idea. And added a tad of healthy with the brussels sprouts. Ha. That was more for the adults. The mini golf experience was mad cool. We got to play upstairs on the 2nd floor. You go to collect your ball and that's where the Trackaball Technology comes in. The technology is so modern!!! We had so much fun with the kids and they loved it. Everyone was competitive too. Puttshack also offers Happy Hour on Mon-Thurs @ 3-6pm. Select food and drinks. Bonus if you can catch HH. This location in Brickell is HUGE!!! Very fun mini golf experience. Would be great for a girls night out, couples night or family night!

Yelp
I had a really fun experience here. When we arrived we were greeted right away and asked if it was our first time. They guided us through the "registration" process. It was a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't very busy but once we walked up to the course there was no one around to give directions on what to do but we figured it out. The technology really is awesome and it's a fun concept for an outing with a small group. Something to do indoors and in a great location! I agree that for the price they charge you should be able to play the 18 holes or be given that option for a small upcharge, we would've been more likely to do that if it wasn't so expensive to do the full 18 on a random afternoon. They had happy hour going on so when we finished the 9 holes we grabbed $7 drinks from the bar. They had a deal that was for Monday-Thursday you can play another 9 holes for half off. And they validate parking! Overall, a fun place if you're looking for something different to do and get a little competitive. Would love it to be a little longer experience by including the 18 holes in the price like some of the other reviews mentioned. Will definitely be coming back though for the experience.

Yelp
So much fun!!! Puttshack is the perfect spot to have a fun night with friends or for a date night. The apps, drinks, and entrees are all delicious. Such great vibes and something different to do.

Yelp
Fun location for a quick mini golf game, but it's only 9 holes to play and goes by super quick. Drinks were ok, didn't eat. Would come back again but would probably want to play 2 rounds

Yelp
We stopped here to kill a little time before dinner. We had a great time here. It's in a great location at Brickell Center City with great views of the city for photo ops. There are 9 holes and each have their own theme. The balls track each players progress and points. The playing area is really small. If there are several groups of people it can get backed up pretty quickly, and you're waiting a while until it's your turn to put. There's a restaurant attached, and a server will bring drinks to you while you're playing. There are bar height tables at each of the 9 hole locations. Great spot for date night, kids and adults.

Yelp
Food: My friend and I came here for mini golf and decided to grab a quick bite after my win. I ordered a Caesar salad and a pepperoni flatbread. My friend ordered the hummus with pita. The salad was fresh and the Caesar dressing was yummy. I enjoyed my flatbread and the portion size was more than enough. My friend enjoyed his hummus. Mini Golf: This place is so much fun, I hate that it took me this long to find it, but it's my new spot. I love that you can order a drink and bring it with you around the holes. There are stands for you to sit your drink while you golf which is super convenient. I must warn you though that it can get VERY crowded so beware of coming on busy weekends as it will take awhile waiting on others to start/finish their holes for you to progress. The quality of the holes is top tier. Updated equipment. We experienced very few glitches/errors (only one) where we needed to reset the ball. All the holes are unique, fun and engaging. This is really nice for a girls night or even a date night. Looking forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Came on a Friday night and unfortunately didn't play minigolf because the lines were really long and we were with a large group. However, we did sit outside to eat and get drinks and it was a very nice ambiance with the brickell skyline. Our server was nice but took her a while to come back to check on us on several occasions. The food and drinks were good but on the pricer side - but of course we are in brickell. Note for large groups, you can only divide by 4 check. Overall, next time I would recommend making a reservation online or coming during the weekday if you want to play mini golf.

Yelp
We wanted to pass the time while in Miami and decided to come here to play some mini golf. Puttshack has multiple locations across the United States and even the United Kingdom. This one is located on the fourth floor of the Brickell City Center near the Miami River Front. They have a bar and restaurant on one side and the mini golf section on the other. To play, register your party on one of the kiosks and then go to the golf course to get your balls and clubs. They only have one 9-hole course called the sapphire course and I wish there were multiple courses. There were a lot of parties all playing on the same 9 holes so there was a lot of foot traffic and waiting around for others to finish playing. The really cool thing is that the balls you use keep track of your score and the hole you're playing in; it's really high tech stuff that I haven't seen in mini golf.
google avatar

Yelp
I was excited to go to Puttshack with some friends. The plan was to have dinner and then go inside to start playing the games. We ordered the Pepperoni Buzz and the OG burger. Both dishes were tasty. The service was very slow, we spent a good amount of our time waiting for our waitress to order. She even forgot to get me my beer. In addition I found vomit in the males bathroom, so I notified the hostess. About an hour later when I went back to the bathroom, the vomit was still there. After our dinner we decided not to play the mini golf games because there was a long line. I was thinking to myself, there is a lot of space but the whole space is not being fully utilized. For example, half of the 2nd floor was closed off, probably for private events. But if it's not reserved then why not open it up for other guests to help reduce the long lines. Overall the location is beautiful, the food was good, and the service not so much.

Yelp
I recently experienced the upscale, tech-infused mini golf at Puttshack, and it's no surprise it's been a craze. Before playing, my friends and I had to pregame a bit with Puttshack's various food and drink options. The Atlanta hot sandwich was a standout, with perfectly cooked chicken that was tender, crispy, and bursting with flavor. My Very Berry Mule cocktail also added a tasty touch. The food and drinks set a fantastic tone for an enjoyable round of mini golf. Although I'm absolutely terrible at all things golf, I had such a great time at Puttshack. The course was entertaining and the incorporation of technology into the game is so cool. The vibrant atmosphere, complete with a DJ playing good music, adds an extra layer of fun to the experience. For $18 per person, I'd 100% recommend if you're looking for a budget-friendly and entertaining activity.

Yelp
Puttshack has been on my list to try for awhile and I finally got the chance to check it out! It's located in the Brickell City Center on the top floor so it also has quite a view of the surrounding area from inside. I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon just because I saw it gets very busy at night. It's completely indoors and I had no idea it would be two floors as well. They have a bar downstairs and a smaller one upstairs as well as a nine hole course on each floor. Once signed up, which they ask for some information to be filled out, you are designated to go to a specific course. We were assigned the ruby course which was on the second floor. You begin by putting in your name and are assigned a specific ball to play with. That ball tracks your movements on each hole. I loved the technology behind each hole and the game overall, I just wish the holes were longer! Or there were more holes to play! For the price you pay it should be both courses included or longer holes. It's truly a great concept, just with each hole being so close to one another because of them being so small, it almost feels like you are playing with a bunch of other parties too so it loses it's group independence. For what it is, I think it's a great start though. I didn't opt for any food or drinks there either because it just didn't seem that many people were doing so, and there are a bunch of other options around the Brickell city center.
google avatar

Cheyanna A.

Yelp
I went with my boyfriend on a date night and while the whole complex is a cool concept with great views, the putt putt was underwhelming. The course is small and we continuously had issues with our points not registering with little assistance from staff. Would only give this one star but the drinks at the bar were unique and made decently.
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
Service was definitely top tier. We were approached by several management team members who asked if things were going well. I wont rate the food off the first visit but decent for the most part. I'll be trying other items in the future. Drinks were great! Ambiance exceptional, location and all.
google avatar

Yelp
Puttshack is so fun! But beware this can get pretty packed, so either reserve playing times before hand or plan to eat if you want to sit and wait for your turn to play. Puttshack is an indoor mini golf experience with crazy, creative holes that give an immersive playing experience. They have various different types of courses that have different holes on each course. This is great with friends or family. They offer traditional bar types of food and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). The food was great, and we had a great time playing.

Yelp
Best minigolf place in Miami! This place was super fun and I enjoyed it a lot. It's a great place to go with a group of friends and family, have drinks, eat, and play minigolf indoors. After a certain time, it's only for 21+! It's set up in such a cool and interactive way and is very organized. I would definitely come back again to play here. The environment and location is also great as well. Great food and drinks too!
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I had a great time playing 9 holes. The experience was well organized. It wasn't busy at the time we went, so we did not have to wait at all. Afterwards we went to eat at their restaurant. The rooftop patio was beautiful. The service was not that great. Our waitress was training another young girl who accidentally spilled a drink on me. She just stood there frozen while I cleaned the table and myself. The food was actually pretty tasty. I had the Korean BBQ Bao buns. It was delicious that I ordered a second plate. Besides, the accident in our table we had a great time.

Yelp
I went to puttshack on a Wednesday night and it was a group of 5 of us and the course was super fun and the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had pertaing to anything we needed. The food for dinner was good the falafel is a great appetizer and the flat breads and Cobb salad were a hit for me! I love how fun and interactive the course is and how you can also enjoy good food and play and have fun o will definitely be back it's a great place for groups to go and collaborate and have fun and eat and drink!

Imtiaz G.

Yelp
Ruby course was fun and had a lot of movi g parts. I think the staff working looked disinterested is the only thing. Kinda weird, considering the process is mostly hands-off automated. Otherwise, they didn't serve food upstairs so that kinda was a bummer too. But we got food downstairs outside on the patio, which was great and the server was good there. We enjoyed the experience. Likely won't do it again but I'm not super big into golfing either.

Yelp
Came here on August 9, 2024. It was pretty nice and the drink I had from the bar was made well. There was a DJ setting the vibes with nice music. The course is a 9hole course and once you complete the course the game is over. I love that the scoring is digital. The person explaining how everything works kind of rushed through it but I just figured out what needed to be done.

Yelp
Food 11/10 Experience 11/10 Service 11/10 Johnny was an absolute angel and made our experience amazing, first time in Miami and first time to PuttShack and took care of our entire party. He was the sweetest person and really cares about the business and customers. So personal and an incredible human. I recommend 100 times.

Yelp
Went here for an event and was honestly very surprised with how awesome it was. I've been to some of these adult mini golf places before but Puttshack is the best. The way they digitally track your ball and your score was very cool to me and I could not get over how unique it was. The course had some very interesting obstacles too. The food was delicious (loved the loaded tots particularly!). The vibe in general felt very upscale and it was very spacious inside. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Had a blast at a UM alum event here at Puttshack! Have never been to such a hi-tech mini golf course- it definitely had that "wow" factor from the moment you set your call down and it recognizes who's playing. Bites were tasty - loved the tots (super spicy peppers in the mix!) and the flatbread was very tasty. Since it's a bit new and hi-tech, there are team members there to help you get set-up and navigate the course if you need help. Awesome place for a party, fun date night, and/or a rainy day option!

Gabriela P.

Yelp
I recommend coming here, this is great spot for a date night or just to hang out with friends or family! The food here is also amazing and great service!

Yelp
This is no doubt a fun experience with a trendy twist with your friends and family. This Puttshack location is tucked tightly in downtown Miami/Brickell's City Center. You can find somewhat nearby parking just keep in mind it is downtown so plan accordingly and be prepared to pay higher than usual parking rates. I reserved and prepaid online for a party of 7. Once we've figured out the where to enter, upon entering we're immediately facing a small course that was very busy and a tight line that you're automatically sliding into. None of us have been before so when we initially thought this line is to confirm your reservation and tell you where to go. It's so compacted and tight you don't really know what's going on. It wasn't until one of us went to the bathroom that you discover the layout of the bar and lounge and that there's even additional floors and courses! Being that we were already invested in the line for the course at the entrance I felt cheated by not knowing the layout. To alleviate this issue it would be helpful to have an entrance attendant. You can certainly tell that staff are asked a lot of questions by the tone in their responses. Moving on, once we got to the end of the line the attendant registered our 'balls' and the interactive technology does the rest. It tracks your ball and keeps your score on the monitor throughout the course. It's not perfect as the kids find ways to work around the mulligans, however it's a fun spin to this activity. It's a cool adult vibe with the beautiful full bar and lounge. Servers walk around to take drink orders, and there are lots of high top tables throughout each course to rest your drinks/ food. My rating is simply for the lack of communication by staff and the fact that I would've liked to see the other courses instead of settling based on not knowing the layout as well as the price, it's not an activity you can do regularly but is a fun experience.

Yelp
Amazing!! Perfect location in Brickell.. best to travel Uber/Lyft. Puttshack located on 3rd floor. I made reservations online so check-in was a breeze. The price for 2 adults for one round $38. Food was amazing.. ordered at the bar and food came quick. Overall, fun time for family, friends, even date night! I would recommend this place for a good outing with a beautiful scenery of Brickell!

Yelp
S l o w like MOLASSES. Get ready to wait, and wait some more! I came here with my husband and father to grab a drink and an app. We didn't realize we had to check in with the hostess to grab a seat since we came when it was empty but a server let us know so we left the table and went to the hostess. The hostess was quick and asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating, we chose outdoor since it was so nice outside. There were two waiters servicing the outside, one was the waiter that told us we had to see the hostess for a table. He saw us but ignored us. Funny how he immediately came to us when we sat without seeing a hostess but when we saw one we are ignored lol. It took about 20-25 minutes of waiting just for a waiter to come and get our order. He never brought water. Two out of three of us got drinks so it was awkward for my husband who was not drinking. The crab dip we ordered was okay. The server came by to check on us two more times, brought water after we asked and then forgot about us. In the meantime we saw many people come, sit down and wait, and wait, and wait until ultimately leaving because no one came. Id like to try the mini golf inside but with the service and bad reviews it's a little off putting. The mezcal margarita was really cute and flavorful and the drinks that came out seemed very nice. It seems like they're understaffed or just slow service? I can't tell but it was Mother's Day weekend so you would think it would be better staffed. YIKES!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at Puttshack this past weekend. I've seen this place advertised through influencers and thought it looked really cool. They are located in the Miami City Center in downtown Miami, which is a beautiful place in itself. Parking is easy and is on the lower levels of the plaza. I was impressed with the layout. As I walked in, I immediately noticed a beautiful bar in the center, as well as the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. The space is very open, trendy and comfortable. Although there are three putt putt golfing areas, only two were open when we were there. We took advantage and did both courses. They do offer deals online if you buy one, you'll get a second game for half off, so check that out before going. There are two floors so don't forget to go upstairs and check it out. Two courses are on the second floor and one on the first floor. They also offer food and beverage. You can bring your cocktails with you as you putt around the courses which is an added bonus. I had a great time here and would recommend anyone checking them out. Fun, trendy and great for pics.

Yelp
Do not host your party here! The food you paid for must be eaten on premises. I threw a $1400 corporate event happy hour. Food was included. Half way through the event, I needed to leave for the airport and asked for a to-go box. I was informed by my waiter, the manager, and the MOD/GM that letting people leave with the food they paid for is against their policy. They would have to make me a to go order (in addition to the food already ordered and plated -- charging me for it). They cited food borne illness. The food was on the table, and people were still eating it. My leaving with it and eating it on the way to the airport is the same as someone eating there. Moreover, I left after 90 min. This is no longer than a long dinner and asking for a to go bag. Net net, we threw out tons of food, locals couldn't take it home. I didn't get dinner I paid for. Why are we wasting food like this when people are on the streets and starving? I would have been fine at least donating it. I do these events often at multiple venues and have NEVER had this happen. In fact, most organizations will literally box the food for you without asking. This includes their darts brethren at flight club boxed my food not 6 weeks ago. Nutty.

Yelp
This past weekend, the family and I, went to Brickell City Center. To our surprise, we discovered Putt Shack. To begin, Putt Shack Brickell is a great choice for families looking for a fun and entertaining night out. With a variety of mini golf courses, arcade games and a restaurant on-site, there's something for every member of the family to enjoy. The mini golf courses are well-designed and offer a mix of challenging and easy holes that will keep both kids and adults entertained. The arcade games are also a hit with families, with a wide range of options to choose from. The food at the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced, making it a great spot to grab a bite after round of a golf. Also, the vast bar is an added bonus if you are in the mood for a well crafted cocktail. Overall, Putt Shack Brickell is a great choice for families who are looking to spend quality time together in a fun and engaging atmosphere! My family and I will definitely be back‍

Yelp
Hello Yelpers!! Puttshack Miami is a cool concept and it was a great night mostly because of the company I was with. This place is very nice and they had a nice bar and even have food service and plenty of waiters walking around taking drink orders. However, want to be clear we did not eat or order drinks. The first thing I highly recommend is that you must make a reservation for the time you're wanting to play. I do not recommend showing up and taking a chance. It is very busy inside and the first thing they ask you is "what time is your reservation". Here is the reason I brought it down from what would have been a 4 star experience to a 3. Puttshack allows way too many reservations at the same playing time. What happens is that you're standing in a huge line just to get from hole to hole. They tell you at the beginning "oh you can start at any hole just not the 9th hole because it keeps your ball". However, there's really no way to accomplish that and then try to go back to a previous hole when everyone is trying to be respectful and following the natural flow. Just make sure you come with patience. It took us an hour to get through 9 holes and overall had a nice time. If you're visiting and want something to do indoors then check them out.

Yelp
Puttshack is located on the 3rd floor of Brickell City Center. I could not find any signs indicating where the place was inside Brickell City Center so it took me like 10 minutes to find it. Inside Puttshack, there are 3 golf courses. 1 on the first floor and 2 more on the 3rd floor. It would've been nice to have known this when we first arrived as we could've chosen the course that was lest packed or liked the most but when we asked the hostess what to do she just directed us to check in for the course of the first floor. As a fist time visitor, it would be nice if the staff explained how the facility operates. The sapphire course was nice and challenging. As you wait in line a server walks around taking orders for drinks and they take them to you. Pricing is very reasonable given the location. $8 for a beer and around $16 per player for a 9 hole course. Initially I was not sure if 1 game would have been enough but given that you have other parties in front of you playing, it took us about 1hour to complete the 9 holes. I paid for 2 games but ended up playing only 1 since we were a bit pressed on time. After the 9 holes, we wanted to grab something to eat. We asked the hostess to sit outside but she insisted for us to sit inside because it was "too busy" outside although there were plenty of available tables to sit. We ended up sitting inside and we're greeted by Jeremiah. He provided us with excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He checked in with our table every so often to make sure everything was good and refilled our waters without us even asking. We ordered the chicken skewers with the pita bread which was mouth watering. Along with the skewers, we ordered the crab dip. The dip was very flavorful but the chips were absolutely terrible. Some of the chips were soggy and mostly saturated with greased (see attached picture). Overall, we had a great experience at Puttshack. Now that I know the dynamics of the place, I will know how to plan my next visit a little bit better.

Yelp
New putt putt place in Brickel City Center. The balls are electronic so there is no keeping score. They do all the math for you. There are some reviews saying they waited a while to play, but on a Sunday night, we waited no more than 10 minutes for our turn on the course. We were directed to the Emerald course on the 2nd floor and given all the directions as to how to play the course. It's definitely not your average putt putt but I was a big fan of the fun challenges. Not sure what the pars were supposed to be but most felt like a par 3. They keep it interesting with moving objects and different ways to earn extra points. We were a party of 2 sandwiched between two large parties. The party ahead of us was very kind and respectful. Just there to have a guys night and drink some beer. The party behind us crowed us the entire game and really rushed us off each hole. At one point I was waiting 2 seconds for my score to come up and I realized it wouldn't because the next party had already put their ball down initiating their turn to start. So in regards to that, you're going to have to make the experience what you want it to be. So not sure how you fix that or space people out a bit more. I definitely will go back though. It's a drive for me, but it was worth the experience for sure.

Yelp
Very cool concept - but they definitely have some issues to smooth out. My husband came in with reservations on a Sunday evening and it was packed! We checked in at the front and were told which course to go to - we asked if we had time to grab a drink to take with us and they said yes. (My very berry mule was delicious!). When we walked over to the course, the line is a bit confusing (largely because it is a very tight space, which made it difficult to understand exactly where to go. My husband and I definitely had fun - but they definitely need to figure out something with the flow of the game. We stood at one hole for over ten minutes waiting out turn - that wouldn't have been a huge issue if they also had servers in the game area to order another drink. But it seems like they overbooked certain times - or don't have a great method for flowing traffic for large parties vs. parties of two. Additionally - the space in between the holes is a bit tight - which again, wouldn't be a huge issue if the line/crowd control were more even. The game itself was fun and the technology worked - I think my husband and I would like to try it again one day! But hopefully, they figure out how to make the experience a bit smoother - until then, maybe just try to go during non-peak hours.

Yelp
Came here for the first time in Brickell City Center and let me just say... WOW! Seriously! This place offers so much. The mini golf we played was so much fun. It was at first confusing but eventually you get used to it and understand what to do. I just don't like how overpacked it's gotten and how you have to wait for your turn because like I said it can get crowded in one space so fast. There are different levels and areas you can choose to play. I also like how they let you know which spaces are available for those with a disability to play. The view outside is beautiful as well

Yelp
This spot was hard to find!!! If you use the Brickell City Center North Parking garage you should be find, just go straight up to the 4th floor. As soon as we got there we checking in with host and then at the machine to receive our stations. If you are in a group and you get different stations you can ask them to put you together. Customer service is good. Since it is a new place I noticed some of the staff was tense especially with all the high demands. Most of their bars are staffed with either two or three bartenders. Overall we had a great experience. I do recommend the outdoor dining experience it's nice to have the city view while you much out. Food is regular bar food with a bit of a Miami twist. The games were fun, the time did go by quickly tho. I enjoyed my drink while playing.

Yelp
If you're looking for fun and unique weekend plans this summer, then add Puttshack to your list. I recently checked this spot out and couldn't wait to call my friends and tell them that this is where our next hang out will be. From the bar and yummy bites to the vibes and service and views, this spot is such a vibe. Upon arrival you get to check in the kiosk and create your account, then your high tech mini gold experience begins. It's cool to see these innovative ideas come to the 305! I came here with only a few friends but would recommend for all size groups. I only got to try the downstairs golf course but that was enough for me. Luckly, when I was there it wasn't too packed so all in all my experience was such a breeze. I truly think this is what Miami was missing when it came to rainy day plans!

Yelp
This place was so fun! We went on Father's Day m, and we're expecting it to be on the busier side, especially since it was a rainy day. Despite some hesitation we had after reading reviews about long waits, we decided to take a chance. It was a little busy, but the wait wasn't long. The crowed moved at a reasonable pace for mini golf and we enjoyed ourselves. The course was fun and interesting, unlike any other mini golf we've been to. Plus it's smart, so it tracks your putts for you! Definitely a good time.

Yelp
Revisited this location over the weekend, and had a even better experience than before!! We went with another couple from out of town who had never been before. We played the Sapphire course, which was much better than the Ruby course (in my opinion).. Drinks were delicious and strong for a very reasonable price! Definitely recommend going with a group of 4 to make it more competitive yet quick.

Yelp
Went here on opening weekend, it was slammed! But the concept is super fun! The music was on POINT and the drinks were great! Loved the waiters coming around taking orders making sure we constantly had drinks on deck. It took us a long time to go around the room due to how packed it was but I'm sure on a regular night it's still fun! Even just hanging out at the bar was fun with the great music! This is a perfect date night or hangout with friends

Yelp
Mini Golf for adults is here and its Puttshack! This is a great date spot or a place to hang with friends. Upon arriving, we were first greeted at the bottom of the escalators by a host and what appeared to be security. Here, you will be asked for your reservation. If you don't have a reservation, it will be difficulty to experience the mini golf portion of the venue and also will not be guaranteed a table. I suggest you book ahead of time via their website. The website is super easy and walks you through the different desired tee times and an option to reserve a table for food and drinks after. Once we finally entered the venue, we went to the self check in monitors where you'll be able to check in and find your reservation which it will direct you to the course you'll be playing at. They have 3 different courses, all which are 9 holes. The course itself is super interactive and love the virtual scorecard on the tv monitors at each hole. It will keep a live updated score as you go throughout the course. Each hole presents its own challenge and fun theme. The only downside when dealing with technology are obviously any tech issues which we experienced at one of the holes. IT support was needed which created some delays and a build up of people throughout the course. You're able to skip around each hole and come back if you missed any so no need to go in order if you don't want to. Helpful Tip - you can take your cocktails with you throughout the course or have it delivered to you by a server which is pretty awesome. The 9 hole course goes by fairly quickly. It takes about about 20-30 minutes to complete. We were a party of 2 and attended on a Friday evening during peak hours. I wish the course was a bit longer but Puttshack does have 2 working bars and outdoor seating area to hang out afterwards. There is also a live DJ in house setting the energy. On this particular night we only came to check out the venue and play a round of 9 holes. We elected to get food and drinks elsewhere. We will have to return to give the menu a try. Overall, Puttshack was a lot of fun and offered a cool experience. Other than some tech issues and a fairly quick 9 hole course. I would give Puttshack 4 stars for its entertainment and atmosphere.

Yelp
Fun. Best mini golf courses I have ever played. Great scoring system. Place is really nice inside. Cool place to hang out with kids at daytime (Brickell has very few indoor options) or to party with friends at night. Gets 4 stars because of price. $50 for 9 holes - 2 Adults, 1 Kid. Food was good and well priced. Drinks were also well priced but I wasn't drinking. VERY BUSY but has a great online reservation system for golf and tables. Food service was very slow because of how busy they were.

Yelp
Wonderful experience. Played all three courses, very fun. Can get a little loud so if you want to dine and talk outdoor seating is preferable. Drinks were delicious and the food was yummy. However it is a little pricey. The games are 18 per adult and drinks ranged from 14-18. Our food was relatively inexpensive and the outdoor seating made it worth it. Would absolutely come again!
