"Inside Brickell City Centre I visited a 27,000-square-foot indoor mini golf bar and restaurant that features three nine-hole competitive courses and an atmosphere that leans more nightclub than golf course — neon-lit rounds are set to tunes by on-site DJs while the company’s proprietary technology automatically tracks scores so there’s no miscounting. When I wanted a break from the action I could sit on the expansive outdoor terrace overlooking the Miami cityscape. The food and drink menu spans wood-fired Thai octopus to fried chicken sandwiches, plus flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and plenty of shareable bites, with a broad cocktail list and beers, seltzers, wines and shots. I appreciated their give-back program: $1 from every purchase of the “Miami Tailpipe,” a sharable spring roll with chimichurri pork, ham, cheese, black beans and grilled pineapple served with mustard and sweet chili dipping sauces, is pledged to Girls Make Beats. Founded by Adam Breeden and Steven and Dave Jolliffe, Puttshack now has four locations in the U.S. and four in the U.K. It’s located at 701 South Miami Avenue in Brickell City Centre and is open Sunday–Wednesday 11 a.m.–midnight and Thursday–Saturday 11 a.m.–1 a.m." - Olee Fowler
