The 20 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim | Eater LA

"Is it a candy bar? Is it a baked good? Who cares. This tremendously delicious, superhero-sized dessert at Pym Test Kitchen in Avengers Campus has layers of chocolate brownie, nougat, caramel, and peanuts that is then dipped in milk chocolate. The end result is something like a Snickers bar, but big enough to share among a few people (or to take home to enjoy later)." - Julie Tremaine

All the Best Things to Drink at Disneyland - Eater LA

"The tasting of the California beers on tap is served on a cute souvenir supersize ruler tasting board topped with mini stein tasting glasses that make one feel like a giant taking pinky-out sips. The lab has about nine beers to choose from, such as Elysian Brewing Space Dust IPA and Garage Brewing Marshmallow Milk Stout." - Caroline Pardilla

The Best Food at Disney’s New Marvel-Themed Avengers Campus | Eater

"A playful, Pym-particle–themed quick-service restaurant that leans into oversized and undersized presentations without sacrificing creativity; the panko-crusted chicken schnitzel stuffed into a too-small brioche (finished with spicy Sriracha mayo and citrus teriyaki) is a standout and even has a kid-friendly version. The menu also includes the PB3 Superb Sandwich (a warm PB&J served on swirled blue bread) with unexpectedly delightful candied “snacking bacon,” a custard-style blue French toast breakfast served with a quail egg (the turkey bacon that comes with it was criticized), and a decadent foot-long candy bar that’s already cult-fave material. The Impossible Spoonful — an oversized spoon of herbaceous Impossible meatball — is moist and excellent, though it’s let down by a pedestrian marinara; the Caesar Salad’s colossal crouton (made from PB3 bread) is widely praised as one of the best bites. Overall, fun, inventive concepts and several must-order items balance out a few uneven executions." - Carlye Wisel

The Marvel-themed Foods You’ll Be Eating at Disneyland’s Avengers Campus | Eater

"A companion bar sharing the restaurant’s seating area that focuses on beer-based cocktails, hard seltzers, and pre-batched specialty drinks served in themed lab glassware. Offerings include the marshmallow-forward Molecular Meltdown (milk stout with vanilla ice cream and mini marshmallows) and the Regulator (Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale with Patron Silver, lime, and habanero-mango syrup). A reverse-tap system mimics cinematic props for beer presentation, souvenir flights arrive on oversized-ruler platters, and a limited full-bar service is signaled by the pre-batched format. Snack Molecules — mixes like caramel popcorn with mini-pretzels, peanuts and Sriracha or strawberry-cheesecake popped sorghum — pair with the drinks. The bar embraces the same tongue-in-cheek lab theme as the restaurant and uses mobile ordering for convenience." - Carlye Wisel

Disneyland’s New Avengers Park Opens Next Year With On-Brand Food Options - Eater LA

"Disneyland is doubling down on revamping its Orange County park, with plans to add an entire campus dedicated to all things Avengers, beginning next year. As TimeOut notes, the sprawling new area at California Adventure, which takes over the former A Bug’s Life space, will not only include new rides but also new food, including a spot called Pym’s Test Kitchen (a nod to Ant-Man’s Pym Particles) that reportedly will work on making food either ridiculously small, or ridiculously big. Expect the first leg of the new Avengers area to open next year." - Farley Elliott

I went to the bar side and the wait wasn’t too long. I went on a Thursday the day before a major holiday and it was a great. I loved their X drink and espresso martini. Their mini pretzel snack was delicious. Overall it was a nice stop over for adult drinks and some food. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Google
We got the Not so little chicken sandwich and my son said it’s the best thing he’s eaten in the parks. Potato bites were delicious and crispy. I got the taco salad and I loved the spice and flavor but the tortilla was too greasy for me but that wasn’t a big deal. The giant pretzel was perfect and soft, feeds a crowd. The giant candy bar was really the perfect finish to our delicious experience. I was surprised the reviews weren’t better here and almost didn’t come because of it. Don’t miss out on this good food!!!!

Google
Got the Not so little Chicken sandwich, red gamma gulp, giant candy bar. The chicken sandwich was very flavorful and crunchy. Something to note with the chicken sandwich is that the bread is small, which makes the chicken bigger than it appears in the image. The red gamma gulp was alright. It tasted good, but it's got some strange thickness to it. The candy bar was very good.

The Baseline: For a sit down Dining experience establishment the food flavors must represent the theme of the environment, there must be unique offerings to the restaurant based on the theme, and the experience must be immersive to the theme park experience. Food: The food at Pym’s Test Kitchen is fun and themed. Size portions are distorted and really brings out the theme that Hank Pym’s life’s work has used his Pym Particles to enhance my dining experience. Way to go Antman! The food is okay in taste (except for the Humongous Taco Salad which is awesome). The Reactor Melt was good and tater tots will never be bad. The Beer Mimosa was surprisingly really good. The Mystic Taro Mocha is not on my top sweet drinks (looking at you Galaxy’s Edge Black Caf). The Neutron Nachos would be great with real meat but vegetarians need to eat and impossible taco meat provides them the best fake meat alternative. Honestly Impossible Meat really works into the theme of this restaurant. Overall my main critique is that Pym’s Test Kitchen needs to bring back the Deadpool and Wolverine Chimichanga. Bring back the Chimichanga, Disney. Bring… it… back! Service: The service is quick and efficient and the cast members are always friendly. Compliment you cast member on the Disneyland App please. Ambiance: It is big and small themed and science is king at Pym’s Test Kitchen. One of the best themed fast casual eating establishments in the park. Very clean environment and extremely safe. Final Critique: Bring back the Deadpool and Wolverine Chimichanga. Bring back the Chimichanga, Disney. Bring… it… back!!!!!!! Bring it back and I will 5-star my review. Please bring it back!

Google
The burger was decent — the chicken breast was tasty and a good size, but the bun was quite small. The fries were very good. The service was excellent; the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Google
Eating at Pym’s Test Kitchen while watching the Avengers show outside was honestly one of the highlights of being at the park. I ordered the Pym-ini chicken sandwich, and while the portion was decent, the real fun was the theme—oversized buns, tiny pretzel bites, and food that looks like it’s been hit with a Pym Particle. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, not too greasy, and surprisingly satisfying for quick service. Sitting outside made it even better. We sat at the barstools just outside the shade and waited for the show to start. It turned the meal into an experience. The background music, energy from the crowd, and that classic Disney immersion made this way more than just lunch—it felt like I was eating in the middle of a movie set. Pro tip: Sit near the main Avengers HQ building if you want a good view of the show while you eat. Food-wise, it's a bit pricey (theme park standards), but the creativity and atmosphere make it worth it.

Delicious lunch/ dinner and good breakfast. We enjoyed all the food here. They also have a coke free style machine so there’s a greater variety of soda choices- including Pibb!

Google
The food was nothing spectacular, we chose to go here for the entertainment that came with the food. My son enjoyed watching the pretzel grow and shrink above him when we were ordering the food and also enjoyed the show he was able to catch outside in the seating area. We got the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich, Humongous Taco Salad, Pepper Particle Pasta & Bite-Sized Grilled Cheese. The chicken sandwich was dry as the cutlet was super thin & over cooked, The taco salad had a very flimsy outer shell which made it very flaky & hard to use as a scoop for the toppings. The pasta was not bad but you can really taste the pepper in it and the grilled cheese had no issues with my son. Not a bad spot for the entertainment but would not recommend over other options

Yelp
Been here a few times -- avoid the breakfast options! Lunch/Dinner is where it's at! The humongous taco salad is a great option for healthy/light foods if you don't want to feel heavy all day. It's fresh and filling. The Pepper Particle Pasta is flavorful but really heavy from the cream! They also have a great impossible meat pasta. For breakfast, we got the French toast and it was okay. Overly sweet and soggy. Their breakfast menu is a bit underwhelming. There's plenty of other great breakfast options around the park!

Yelp
service: great! :) beer mimosa ($14.00 USD) pretty disappointed to be honest.. it wasn't as sweet as I'd hoped and had an overall bitter taste. the orange juice flavor was faint, with the sierra nevada hazy little thing IPA overpowering it, leaving the drink unbalanced.. atomic pretzel: apple-bacon soft pretzel ($10.49 USD) honestly not a big fan..the cinnamon-sugar salted pretzel was a bit too hard and slightly dry. while it's topped with apple-bacon compote, cranberries, caramel sauce, cream cheese, and candied pepper bacon, the flavors didn't come together as i'd hoped--leaving the overall taste a bit bland

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, and this time was pretty enjoyable. There was a little bit of a line but we decided to wait it out since mobile ordering was 20 minutes. Once we got to the cash register, the service was fairly quick. Something I'd also like to point out is Disney's diverse and inclusive staff, with two workers in wheelchairs on both registers. Our humongous taco salad was delicious. Fresh ingredients (it was 11am) and great taco-to-filling ratio. The taco was super flaky and buttery as well. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but our beer mimosas really hit the spot. I mean orange juice makes it breakfast right? We also didn't struggle to find a table to eat at. All the workers were super friendly too. Will definitely come back as we have so far.

Yelp
If you find yourself looking for some quick vegan eats at California Adventure in Disneyland, without wanting to sit down at a restaurant and wait for servers to feed you, you'll find Pym Test Kitchen ( https://disneyland.disney.go.com/.../pym-test-kitchen/... ) to be a perfect option. There's plenty of seating, the lines tend to move pretty quickly and you can even place a mobile order so there's no waiting as you arrive to pick up your food right when it's ready! If you're first starting you day, you can pick up an amazing sounding vegan breakfast, the Impossible Garden Quantum Breakfast from 8am - 10:15am. I didn't have the chance to try this at any of my visits but it sounds really good, plant-based folded omelet with Impossible Breakfast sausage, crispy potato bites and focaccia toast ... yum! While I wasn't lucky enough to try their breakfast, I did try their Lunch/Dinner option, the Impossible Spoonful which consists of Rigatoni and Ditalini Pastas, Plant-based Meat-balls, Tomato Sauce, Dairy-free Parmesan and Micro Basil. It's a good and hearty dish, you'll likely feel quite satisfied without feeling bloated, just seems like a perfect amount. Great quick meal to keep you going to hit that many more rides (or in my case, watch braver people than myself go on the rides lol)

Yelp
4+ very fun place to eat inside the avengers campus. The concert obviously borrows from the theme in Ant Man where things are either tinier or oversized. For example one of the desserts is a giant candy bar (if they still have it). Another thing I've seen was a large chicken parm in sandwich form with a tiny bun. The people are really friendly as expected with anything related to Disney, but the service style is more cafeteria / fast casual style where are you standing in line to order and get your food and find a seat. It's Ashley been a while so I can't remember if you get your food before you sit down or you have a number and they bring it to you. Overall, the food items are fun. But nothing really stands out in terms of me craving it when thinking about going back. But that's not a knock on their food. I definitely would hit this place up when I'm here.
google avatar

Yelp
The giant pretzel was pretty good but the amount of cheese super small. For even a small dip for each bite you'd need about 2.5 ramekins of the cheese. The taco salad was pretty good, but the taco shell tasted off, it didn't taste like corn or flour.

Yelp
Haiku: Pym Test Kitchen Crazy creations Unique and colossal foods A fun spot to dine. --- Pym Test Kitchen offers innovative and novel eats like massive one-pound pretzels, giant-size chicken patty sandwiches, and fully loaded taco salads. The food here is pretty solid, but just a lot of fried foods. They do offer unique, but appetizing flavor pasta and feature an Impossible plant-based meatball dish. I'll have to try those next time. They even have the viral dessert--a celestial-sized Candy Bar: Choco-Smash Candy Bar. It's as if a Snickers bar and brownie had a baby (dark chocolate, peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate brownie). We did mobile order and pick up was convenient.

Yelp
Food here at PYM test kitchen was yummy and fresh. Attached to the Antman bar, it had the shrunk and enlarged play on food like the concept of the Antman movie. Delish! Loved the pretzel and it was big enough to split with 4 people! Extra beer cheese was 89 cents and it was a huge portion.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm pleasantly pleased with the food here! I did a mobile order and our food was ready in 7 minutes. We ate here late during the Oogie Boogie Bash so it wasn't crowded at all and we found seating in the dining area to the left of the restaurant. - Quantum Pretzel: 4.5/5 - it was humongous, bigger than my head! The pretzel was so soft, warm and tasted fresh. The beer cheese was delicious and my only complaint is the huge pretzel needs two cups of the cheese! - Not so Little Chicken Sandwich: 4/5 - like others said, it reminded me of chicken katsu. I love breaded chicken so I enjoyed the heavily breadedness but it is a thin piece of chicken. Because of the bun being small, it was messy to hold and eat. The tater tots were crispy and delicious! - Pepper Particle Pasta: 3/5 - a huge portion as well and it had decently good flavor. But was too spicy to me and just a whatever pasta dish that I'd skip out on next time

Yelp
I love the whole concept of Pym's! I love a good themed bar or restaurant and I love all of the Ant Man Easter eggs at Pym! The concept is built around small and massive food items. I love that it is smack dab in the middle of Avenger's Campus in DCA so you can sit outside to people watch or watch when they do the character shows. I'm not a huge fan of their food - I haven't loved some of the items I have tried so we usually just stick to drinks for the most part, but my favorite items to order are the R&D Martini and the Choco Smash Chocolate Bar. The chocolate bar is close to 12 inches long, but it is so good! I ate about half of it and took the rest home with me to Sacramento. They offer a massive chicken sandwich, pretzel and even a taco salad that looks like a huge taco. Their smaller items consist of a bite size grilled cheese sandwich and mini pasta and meatballs. Staff is always super friendly like most Disneyland/DCA employees are! It's a fun place to relax and have a quick bite! I suggest mobile ordering if you can!
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
I think we all know we're going to overpay for anything in this area. With that in mind, the Ambiance was pretty cool and the food came out fast. Drinks took a while but they do take their time making a fairly quality cocktail. The not so little chicken sandwich is actually not that big. The bun the put it on is just very small. Kids meals are pretty small as well. Overall, it's okay. We've had worse
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
Fun place with something for everyone! We all loved what we order. Lots seating for this busy location.
google avatar

Evelyn B.

Yelp
Fun place for breakfast with several choices, including a traditional style American breakfast with the Pym's twist. We ordered that and the French Toast. Starting with the French toast, it's huge, like the entire length of the base of a loaf of bread. The maple syrup was accompanied by the tiniest blueberries, and it came with bacon. Next up is the American breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, and a tiny (quail?) egg on a sliver of focaccia. It was all very tasty, and a big portion. The small egg and focaccia was very whimsical. Service at Disney is a little confusing, but once you experience it, it's a little bit easier in the rest of the counter service restaurants. So, you order at one register and take your slip up to the counter at the number area that they tell you to wait at. And then you will hand your receipt to the attendant at pick up and she will assemble your order and call out your number when it's ready. One nice perk is that you can refill your water bottle for at no charge at any of the fancy Coca-Cola machines .
google avatar

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ordered the not so little chicken sandwich and paired it with the blueberry matcha ! Not So Little Chicken Sandwich: 4/10 I was sososos disappointed when I ate the chicken sandwich & the tater tots :-( I felt like this was pretentious & the chicken was so dry. The tater tots were super dry as well and I felt like the meal was overcooked ¿ Blueberry Matcha: 9/10 I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the blueberry matcha -- this drink quite litcherally saved the meal ! There was a strong matcha flavor & the blueberry taste was not overpowering :') I would come back for the blueberry matcha Overall super disappointed with the meal :( I'm not sure if we caught PYM Test Kitchen on a bad day or if they accidentally overcooked our meal but I couldn't finish the meal bc of how dry the food was
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
Delicious vegan breakfast! Two impossible sausage patties, a vegan folded egg, tater tots, and focaccia split in half to make a sandwich. The tater tots were perfectly fried so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The focaccia was nicely toasted. Everything was really tasty.
google avatar

Kathi B.

Yelp
We haven't been to Pym Test Kitchen in a few years, and were excited about some of the new additions! Tried the The Chimichanga with ... what else ... Wolverine claw marks front and center! Deadpool (especially) and Wolverine are everywhere these days! The chimichanga itself was good. And it really was, if you like Taco Bell type flavor in a more glorified & fanciful presentation. We were impressed by the size for the price compared to some other options throughout DCA. We definitely weren't disappointed, actually enjoyed it, and would get it again in the future (although the new Humongous Taco Salad is next on the list ;) ). I mean come on...where else can you eat while waving at Black Panther and Iron Man!
google avatar

Juan M.

Yelp
Oh yeah Pym's always hits before hopping on Guardian's of the Galaxy. Nothing like a strong, quick buzz before the best ride in the park. Drinks are short and to the point like this review! Enjoy!
google avatar

Sunny P.

Yelp
wow disappointing. i got a 'reactor melt' but gluten free bc i'm trying out an elimination diet i mean gluten free bread is always disappointing but yea the description made it sound much better. it's a mid-grilled cheese my friend's pb&j was also baffling. so much peanut butter for two slices of bread cut in half i wish there were better less processed food at disney but who am i kidding!
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Pretty good food here and you do get really good bang for your buck here in my opinion! The pretzel is well worth the $15 because it's massive and easy to share among 4 of 5 people. They have tots as a side option not only fries which is a nice change!
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
The wait to get your food is long even when they're not busy, but the food itself is was pretty good for being "fast food" Disney food. There was plenty of space to sit (only outdoors) & conveniently super close to the restrooms. We got the taco salad and the pesto melt. The taco salad I feel like the portions inside of the taco shell should have been bigger and the melt was delicious but was missing something to dip it in like sauce or a soup. I also recommend adding bacon to the melt, although it's like an extra $3. This is an affordable place to go that will still be enjoyable, although their options are limited, I still recommend it
google avatar

Patrick G.

Yelp
How dare you DCA serve me possibly the worst quality cold dry scrambled eggs, dry foccacia toast with some ridiculous quail egg. The bacon was an absolute atrocity in itself flimsily thin and cold. The tater tots were the only saving grave still semi crispy and barely warm but i freakin hate how disney loves them tater tots at many of their restaurants but sadly it's their only consistent thing they can do. There were only a few people eating here and it wasnt busy. Shame on the eggs and bacon hard pass dont come here unless you want the saddest breakfast in the entire park. Side note their workers are exceptionally friendly and attentive always cleaning. Maybe focus on your food please.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
A sweet treat is what I got this time - the Cookies n Creme Cold Brew. It was a good option for a mild adult drink (no alcohol). Coming here is a fun and unique experience! The theme is creative, and the attention to detail is impressive, making it feel like you're part of a science experiment. The menu features some playful dishes that are both tasty and visually interesting. While some items might be a bit pricey, the overall experience is worth it, especially for Marvel fans and those looking for something different. I recommend giving it a try if you're visiting the park. It's a great spot to take a break, enjoy some creative food, and immerse yourself in the Marvel universe!
google avatar

Leah H.

Yelp
The drinks here were so good! I got the R&D which was essentially a creamy espresso martini and it was so good, I'm already waiting to go back. The cereal infused milk foam on top was to die for.
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
This is in the DCA park and my little one loves coming here for breakfast. . He loves how big the French Toast is. So definitely come for the experience and especially if you have kids. This is perfect to share. We also ordered the cookies and cream cold brew. Too sweet for me. But my husband loved it. My husband typically doesn't eat breakfast. So while he enjoyed the coffee. My son and I enjoyed the food. You can order on your Disney app for faster service but we just got inline and ordered and got to pick up our food within 10 minutes if that.
google avatar

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Ordered a Blueberry Matcha Latte with a taco salad. The taco was hearty enough for one person. Matcha Latte was much sweeter than bitter. Line went quick when I visited around 1 pm on a Thursday. When you order, you get a receipt, hand the receipt to the "scientists" and they will prepare your order. Once done, you can head out to the left to get your condiments, utensils, napkins, and sodas if you ordered a soda. Plenty of shaded options provided. You can see the Avengers show from where you are if you stand. Your view is covered if you sit and watch. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I will definitely come back and try their alcoholic concoctions next.
google avatar

Sabrina T.

Yelp
We rope dropped Avenger's Campus and after a few rides, we needed something to eat and decided to try Pym's Test Kitchen. I mobile ordered my food and it was ready very quickly! I picked up my order and decided to eat outside so that I could soak in the atmosphere. I got the Calculated Breakfast = E x 2 + (B+P)/T (Eggs Two Ways with Smoked Bacon, crispy Potato Bites and Focaccia Toast) and it was so good! Everything was hot and fresh!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times but on this visit i came to try the new Cold Brew Infusion: Cinnamon and Spice (Cinnamon caramel cold brew with cardamom cream foam) If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, you'll love this new cold brew. The coffee flavor was nonexistent IMO and a bit watered down. The sweetness of the cardamom cream foam and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal together balanced with the cold brew making it taste like you were having a "cup of cereal" lol I recommend placing a mobile order instead of waiting in line for faster service and don't forget to use your Magic Key Discount..if you have a Magic Key :)
google avatar

Kim D.

Yelp
Ambiance 3/5 ~ The area is loaded with kids and music. So, this is a great place for families. But for a group of women without the kids at Disney, this spot maybe not the best. Food 3/5 ~ The choices are not healthy nor excellent in flavor. The pretzel is a great choice but was too cold. The beer cheese sauce was fake in taste. Service 4/5 ~ The staff are friendly and clear the tables quickly. If you are interested in having a drink, order a kids drink and fill up. The drink dispenser has a great selection and is unlimited. I won't return to eat the food. Darn! Come on Disney, start making better meals!
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
As I've said on other reviews for Disney dining, mobile ordering is the way to go. It's super convenient and you'll avoid having to wait in line. On this visit, I ordered several items, including the choco smash cake, side of potato bites (basically tater tots) and cold brew infusion. I also got a wide of cheese beer sauce thinking it would be good with the potato, but sadly I think it would have been a better accompaniment to their pretzel. The cake was sweet and chocolatey (perfect if you like snickers candy bars!) and paired well with the cold brew. I'll be back again for a meal, as I've been eyeing their breakfast menu :)
google avatar

Priscilla V.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places for lunch. I love the taco salad because they make their taco shell in house and it's perfectly light, airy and crispy everytime I order it! Sometimes the lines do get long so mobile ordering might definitely be faster.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to Pym Test Kitchen. The ordering system was easy, my food was ready quickly, and I believe I got a great bang for my buck. I quickly stopped inside of Pym Test Kitchen during my visit to Disneyland because I was craving a soft pretzel. I only ordered the Quantum Pretzel so I can't speak much about what they have to offer, but I was very happy with what I got. The pretzel is HUGE - bigger than the average human head - and it fed a family of four. And yes, it is as delicious as it is big. Moreover, it is not pricey at all, and keeping amusement park prices in mind, I definitely believe it is worth the money. I also love the location of Pym Test Kitchen. There's a nice seating area right outside the restaurant, and since this restaurant is in the middle of the Avengers campus - you can sit and watch the action while munching on the pretzel of your dreams. Overall, I would definitely stop by again for a pretzel or two. Also, I'm looking forward to trying the drinks at the Pym Tasting Lab, they look phenomenal!
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
This is a good place to eat with plenty of (shaded) seating outdoors & indoors. You have a nice view of the Avengers campus if you sit outside too, in case you wanted to see the Avengers Assemble shows. Food: - The Blueberry Matcha Iced Latte was good - a little too creamy but definitely tasted both blueberry + matcha without one flavor overpowering the other. The popping boba and cream on top were a nice touch as well. - The Reactor Melt sandwich was decent - it was really just a panini sandwich with cheese and tomatoes. Nothing special. - The Not-So-Little chicken sandwich was fun in theory, but the chicken itself was thin and heavily breaded and a little dry, so sauce is really necessary to finish this. The tater tots were really good and perfectly crispy though.
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in Avengers Campus. You can order on the app or in line. When we went there was no line. They actually waited for us to decide our order. Friendly staff. We tried the quantum pretzel, beer mimosa and x-periment. Very cool fun concepts for the theme. The pretzel was tasty but really just a ginormous pretzel with cheese sauce. What I found unique and tasty were the drinks. Both were great. And you get to keep a souvenir plastic beaker cup. The husband thinks this makes a great happy hour spot so if we ever returned it would be a stop in the afternoon to relax vs this visit more of a brunch snack.

Yelp
Pym's Test Kitchen in Avenger's Campus is a fun and unique spot to grab a bite in California Adventure. Their cookies and cream cold brew is a must-try - despite the name, I didn't think it was too sweet. The menu options are cleverly themed, adding to the overall experience and making it a great choice for Marvel fans. I tried their breakfast option, pictured here. While it wasn't anything spectacular, it was decent and a good place to go in the morning if you're looking for some more basic breakfast items. Overall, Pym's Test Kitchen offers a fun atmosphere and some standout items worth checking out! Also, lots of shady seating for those hot days and if you time it right, you can catch a show while you're seated right across the way.

Yelp
Interesting items to check out. Definite must is the cookies and cream cold brew. Although I do enjoy the black caf cold brew (seems to be everyone's favorite), I'd say this one's even better. Perfect drink to mobile order before waiting in line for guardians. There's a lot of other things I'll be back to try like the choco smash cake, not so little chicken sandwich and reactor melt. The quantum pretzel was a good deal for its size. I was able to ask for a box and take it to go. Mobile order was quick, easy and convenient. Good amount of tables available. Great theme/concept. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Pym test kitchen is located in Disneyland California adventure in the marvel area near Guardians of the galaxy. Pym test kitchen is a must stop! We always love the food and drink here as is is unique and flavorful, not something you would expect in a theme park! I would suggest ordering ahead on the app as the line can get long during meal times. Make sure not to skip on the drinks!

Yelp
Great food that stands up to Disney's standards. Although they have a mobile ordering option, we got in line and ordered. It was laater in the evening so the line wasn't bad at all. The kids got the PB&J Flavor Lab - super cute! You assemble your own experiment with peanut butter, strawberry Jelly and bread, served with a mandarin orange, yogurt and choice of milk or botted water. Quantum Pretzel bavarian-style, with sharp cheddar cheese-beer sauce was really good! Impossible™ Spoonful was a good plant-based option too. Love Disney! And love themed restaurants like this one.

Yelp
Avengers Assemble! And fuel up lol I've gotten the pretzel from Pym Test Kitchen and it was huge lol It tasted good. I would get that again. But I really want to go back and try that impossible pasta! That looks super delicious and is vegetarian friendly! So I am game lol I suggest doing the mobile ordering because it can get really busy. It's a laidback place to eat at DCA.

Yelp
One of the best eating options in California adventure park! Their menu is so fun- especially for kids. A favorite is the make your own pb&j (which includes a side of yogurt with popping boba and blue swirled toast) and the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich has a German cutlet sized piece of fried chicken with the smallest bun imaginable! The pym particle pretzel is a favorite as well. Recently, they offered a chicken salad in a giant fried flour tortilla shaped like a taco! Holy cow, it was good. But more than that, the photo ops for all these unique foods is the best! They offer mobile ordering. The seating is limited and it is always difficult to find seating here. Pro tip, take your food over to the seating between guardians and the theater. It's usually less crowded.

Yelp
Catfished & horrible noise.... The photos don't quite look like what the food looks like, portion wise, see attached photos. The chicken sandwich looks HUGE in their advertising. Super thin slice of chicken & the bun is tiny. The line inside there is an extremely annoying loud sound that goes off every few seconds, it's their pretzel decor (also seen in photo). I felt bad for the workers having to listen to it all day long when I just had to listen to it while waiting in line. The line took forever with only two cashiers. The outside seating area isn't nearly enough either, it's PACKED with no open tables available. This was during the weekday too, they should expand to be larger to fit everyone, and hire more cashiers!

Yelp
I have always seen photos of the chicken sandwich here, so I had to try it. Note that the alcohol line is separate from the food line; so while we got drinks, I made an online order at Pym Test Kitchen for the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich ($15.49). The concept of this place is pretty cool with the decor of the regular size-pretzels becoming enlarged. Honestly, I kind of wish we got the Quantum Pretzel instead, but we already had a pretzel for the day. Anyways, the order didn't take long and we found some seats outside. The sandwich is made with a mini bun, so that the chicken cutlet looks huge. I felt a little decieved because I thought the chicken was going to be even bigger. It actually made it a bit difficult to eat because you're barely holding onto the sandwich by the buns as you're only biting into fried chicken. I did enjoy the tater tots though, which were nice and crispy. Overall, decent good and cool concept, but nothing that stood out. You're better off getting a regular chicken sandwich.

Yelp
While in DCA, take a moment to grab some munchies and drinks from the Pym Test Kitchen. They have an assortment of fun cocktails, beer, and some out of the ordinary food concepts to choose from. The surroundings give off that test kitchen lab vibe, and the layout of the restaurant is pretty cool. I actually loved the taste of the "not so little chicken sandwich." It was very reminiscent of a chicken katsu, if you've ever had that. I didn't get to try the cocktails but definitely will on the next trip out.

Yelp
Love the creativity! Love the concept! Love this quick serve! We used the mobile order but you can walk in too. Vegan options!!! I ordered the Impossible meatball meal. My only but major complaint was my entire meal was cold. I would have returned it for a warm one but I just ran the Disneyland Half and I would have eaten anything that ended up in front of me at that moment. Ha! My companion ordered the gianormous chicken sandwich and it delivered. It was huge and delicious. Win. We also ordered the cake and holee smokes it was the best Disney dessert ever. Double win. Some downside is there is limited seating and people are sitting at seats not eating. Cast members should help move them off so eating guests can use the tables. Also, when we did find a table I had to clean it myself. The decor and ambiance is adorable. We loved it and I would most def return.

Yelp
I think this is the best place for alcoholic drinks in Disneyland. I've tried a good handful of alcohol in DCA and have either a) not been too impressed with the flavor or b) the drink was so weak that it may as well not have been alcoholic. I don't expect the drinks to be strong at Disney or anything, but you should still be able to feel a little something. So I think Pym is pretty good on those two fronts. The honey gin drink and the mango tequila one are really tasty. The prices are high, but hey it's a theme park drink and it's not nearly as bad as stadium prices.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places for food in the park! No matter what time, all the meals they serve here are super worth your money. For breakfast, I've tried everything on the menu and every single thing is good. Howww cute is that little egg too!!! For later in the day, I love their impossible spoonful even as a non vegetarian. They always have seating and there is barely a wait, always use the app to order.

Yelp
This restaurant is a take on having large items from the movie ants. My friends swears by the cookies and cream microbrew coffee. He gives it a 10 out of 10.

Yelp
Tried a few things here and the most notable item is hands down the quantum pretzel, not only is the pretzel good with the beer cheese but it's also a lot of food for only $12.99, $12.99 doesn't get you much in a lot of other places in Disney so this one is worth it if you want something tasty and filling all at once. The Pym-Ini Sandwich is not good at $14.69 and the Bigger than Buffalo Turkey Leg is another pass in my book at $16.49 The inside of Pyms Tesr Kitchen since you can see the Quantom Pretzel "grow" right before your eyes.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to stop here for a quick snack before going on the Spider Man ride next door! The inside is super cool. The servers even wear lab coats to fit the theme. We shared the Quantum Pretzel, which is a GIANT pretzel served with beer cheese. The outside coating was pretty much identical to the Mickey pretzel that is served in the parks. The dough was sooo soft and warm. It tasted like it was freshly made. Because of the soft inside, I actually liked it better than the Mickey pretzel! It really is gigantic though, so I definitely recommend sharing between 2-3 people. Only reason I give it 4 starts is because of the beer cheese! The cheese was a bit grainy. It tasted like real cheese but honestly just prefer the cheese that is served in the parks. I liked dipping the pretzel in mustard the best.

Yelp
Pym kitchen is slowly becoming my go-to for food at California Adventure. The food is always very picturesque and it's a good bang for your buck at Disney. This visit I grabbed the oversized chicken sandwich and you can literally feed (2) with it. It was nice grabbing a nice shaded booth area and watching the Avengers show as we ate lunch. The line progressed quickly and even though the food was ready immediately it was still very warm to touch, not like it had been sitting at all.
