Google
We stopped by Q Grill after seeing the fall foliage nearby, and it completely lived up to the hype! So many of my friends had recommended it — now I totally understand why. We started with the live octopus , beef tartare, and marinated raw crab. It was my first time trying freshly prepared live octopus — the tentacles were still moving when served, which was both fascinating and delicious! The raw crab was also perfectly marinated and incredibly flavorful — you can just gently suck the meat out. The beef short rib soup came with two huge bone-in ribs, and the broth was rich and comforting — highly recommend! For the main course, we ordered the Premium Meat Set for Two, which included a massive cut of Japanese A5 Wagyu . Honestly, I’ve never seen such a generous portion of A5 beef at a BBQ place before. The Korean ajumma grilled it for us and even showed us how to enjoy it without feeling greasy — like pairing it with pickled radish for balance. It was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The set also included American Wagyu and marinated short ribs, both tender and full of flavor. The BBQ sauce was just right — not overly sweet. Their side dishes, seafood tofu soup, and steamed egg were all on point too. We left completely full and happy! The food here tastes super authentic, and the staff (especially the Korean aunties) are so kind and attentive — they make sure you’re enjoying everything properly.

We enjoyed a satisfying feast with friends at Q Grill last weekend. The decor may be a bit outdated, but it’s cozy, clean, and has a lively atmosphere. Their menu offers a wide variety of options—from steamed seafood and BBQ to traditional Korean dishes. We ordered the Beef & Pork Combo for four, Grilled Parmesan Oysters, and Bone Marrow Kimchi Fried Rice. Everything was delicious, and the portions were more than generous.

Google
The grilled Parmesan oysters are my favorite — so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The rest of the food is also as amazing — everything from the BBQ to the seafood dishes tastes great and comes out hot and well-seasoned. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe make it even better. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

Google
I live in the area and probably go to Korean bbq at least 1-2x a month. Overall, this place is on par with other Korean bbqs and seems to cater more to non-Korean clientele. The good: Variety of banchan which were all pretty solid. Service provided by the employees was good. The beef was about average for the area which is still good. The bad: The egg that came with the meats was burnt and the jigae was way too thick and salty. We also ordered bone marrow which had almost zero marrow in the bones. When we pointed that out to the waitress, she agreed and spoke to her boss who did absolutely nothing, which was pretty disappointing. I didn’t make an issue of it but there is way too much competition in the area to let the marrow issue slide and won’t be going back as a result. I don’t blame the employees as they were all very nice and accommodating but I can’t support a business that does that to its customers.

Google
Honestly, I always have such a good K-BBQ experience every time I come here. Meat always tastes so good but what I ALWAYS get no matter what is their 백합 조개 수제비 (seafood/clam soojebi) because the broth is so light but full of flavor with a nice kick to it. Everyone was super nice and the interior has a nice atmosphere for dinner.

Google
Quality food and awesome service. A bit pricy but worth it! A good choice for important days.

Google
We ordered the Bone Marrow appetizer and maybe that was wrong decision on our part but it was really bad. No marrow to speak of on the Bone, burnt baguettes on the side. I made a comment to the waitress and she completely agreed and took away our plate. The meat was decent but the accompanying soup was so salty and thick - it was inedible and the steamed egg (basic staple for all k-bbq restaurants) had an overpowering burnt taste. In the end they sent us a different waitress to bring the bill and no acknowledgement of my complaint and nothing taken off the bill nor service given. Our original waitress was nowhere to be seen, probably told to avoid us so they didn't have to acknowledge my complaint. We paid the bill and gave the 20% tip without saying anything additional but will NEVER go back. Poor poor service to ignore a complaint and fully charge for it without an explanation or comment from the manager. Left the restaurant with a horrible taste and overall bad experience. I suspect this place will close down within a year.

My friends and I love this place! We love the beef here and also grilled butter oyster! Friendly service and upper scale vibe!

Yelp
The day of the visit to Q Grill was for a solemn reason as we were gathered for repass. It was my first visit with my family, and we were welcomed in an usher to a special section towards the back with pre-determined menu to choose from. There as one older waitresses in particular, whose name I did not catch, but she was exceptional in her service -- to not just our section, but to everyone. She seemed to understand well how to cater to the restaurant patrons, taking into consideration that we were grieving a loss of a family member/friend. The food was excellent. The "banchan" side dishes were fresh and savory with continuous refills. They provided us with appetizer of the two types of "jeon"s - when was seafood and one was kimchi. I ordered the super sized "galbi tang" (갈비탕 - Short Rib Soup). I say "super sized" as it's quite larger in quantity than any I have ever had in any restaurant! . They had already pre-sorted the meat from the bones which usually are included in this particular dish. The amount of meat was incredibly abundant and absolutely savory and soft to chew. The meal was so big that I packed most of it to go and it sealed up almost to the top of a quart container! Other guests tried the "oohguhgi galbi tang" (Short Rib Cabbage Soup - 우거지 갈비탕) and "bibimbap" (Mixed Rice with root vegetables - 비빔밥) which looked delicious and ample in quantity as well. The restaurant is located off-shot from Lemoine Avenue In Fort Lee (soon after you cross Main Street) and turn into their driveway right before Charim Restaurant/Paris Baguette Cafe. Parking is plenty for free and the entrance has stairs and ramps for wheelchair/walkers. The bathroom is to your left as soon as you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Service is prompt and courteous (with exception to one younger waitress who was a bit curt and ignore requests but the older waitress I mentioned prior really saved the day! ). The managers were professional and helpful in directing the guests to the right places. Overall experience in food and service was 4.8/5.0. Q Grill was recently named top 10 KBBQ spots in NJ/NY. Will definitely visit and enjoy their other menu selections!

Yelp
The restaurant was very bright and clean. It is in the heart of Ft. Lee but in a quiet spot and could be easily missed. We celebrated a birthday with Family on a Friday evening. Overall experience was great! Meat - Great! Seafood - Great! Service - Great! I would definitely go back again. After eating at other Korean BBQ, everyone knows because all your clothes reek of smoked meat. Not so with Q grill! They utilize an exhaust system that comes down right over the grill so you're not enveloped in meat smoke throughout the meal. We ordered the beef combo and selection of seafood (squid, shrimp, clams), plus the seafood jungol. All the beef selections were tender and juicy! The seafood was also cooked perfectly - the squid was very buttery and the clams were so succulent! Sometime the squid and clams come out rubbery and I end up with a sore jaw from all the required chewing - you know it's happened to you too! Not so at Q Grill! We had one grill dedicated to beef and another dedicated to seafood, each one overseen by a dedicated server. They were very attentive and made sure each piece was cooked to perfection. I was pretty full with all the grilled meats, but then we had to tackle the seafood jungol. I wish I had a second stomach because the jungol was also very good. The broth was so flavorful! It had chunks of pollack (I think), lobster, more clams, and radish. I think it had shrimp too, but by that time, I was delirious from overeating so I can't remember! I need to refresh my memory by going back!

Yelp
We had a lunch combo meals which are offered weekdays 11-3pm. The combo meals had choice of tofu soup, kimchi stew, miso stew, bibim naengmyun and mul naengmyun. We ordered marinated galbi, grilled mackerel and sizzling galbi stone bibimbap. Every dish was very delicious and galbi was tender and marinated well. The banchan was also fresh and tasted good. The servers were friendly and the interior was modern.

Yelp
This Korean BBQ spot is different than the rest-QGrill serves both seafood and meat. I absolutely LOVED the garlic parm grilled oysters and short rib stew! It's definitely worth to come try the delicious seafood, beef and pork K BBQ! The service is also amazing and there's free parking in the back! -Butter parm oysters -Galbi -Dweji Galbi -Galbi Jjim

Yelp
Came here back in July for a birthday lunch. It was quite empty when we got there and they had a long table to accommodate our group of six. At times, it made it harder to share the food since the table was quite long. Service was quick and they cooked the meat/seafood for us. We got an assortment of appetizers, à la carte items, beef combos, grilled clams, and butter parmesan oysters to share which was more than enough food. Highly recommend the grilled clams and butter parmesan oysters. One thing I wanted to point out is, we were looking forward to the steamed seafood box, however they brought it out so early and left it at another table to sit while we were busy with all the other food at our table. I think they could have assessed the timing better because when they finally brought the box over, everything was overcooked and mushy which was quite disappointing. We also brought a cake and they were able to store and bring it out later for dessert. Good thing was they didn't charge a cake cutting fee. The ventilation was strong and we didn't come out smelling like kbbq!

Yelp
"Hot, fresh, and flavorful! The sizzling dishes were amazing, especially the bibimbap.

Yelp
Amazing place. I come here every time I'm in Fort Lee, which is maybe once or twice a month. Food - excellent. I always go with the marinated meats. The servers grill everything to perfection (almost every time). Meat always still juicy and never too dry. Oh and the oysters are great too beyond just the meats. Service - amazing. Very sweet people. Always smiling and super friendly. Ambiance - just right for me. It never gets really loud. I can have a normal volume conversation. Overall I think in Jersey this has got to be my favorable kbbq. Will keep coming back whenever I'm in the area.

Yelp
We came when it was empty on a Tuesday food was delicious nice and hot many flavors and new things to try. You need to try the corn with cheese was very yummy. Please try the peach sake it's very yummy. The staff were friendly. The bathroom was beautiful very clean loved the way it was decorated. Just be mindful it's a bit pricey but you get a decent amount I think it's worth it.

Yelp
More like 4.5 but what the heck. This recent add to the area was surprisingly good. I had the galbi lunch set and the meat was absolutely spot on. Perfect tenderness and cut/marinated just the way I like my short rib. The meat was also super flavorful. The banchan was decent and refined Their spicy tofu soup that came with the meal was also super flavorful and very tasty I was very pleased with the meal and also thought the service was quite good. There is a small parking lot which is also a nice benefit. I suppose the only drawback is how smelly it gets in here when the grills get going, it seems more intense than some of the other bbq joints nearby but otherwise I think this place is a really good choice for bbq lovers.

Yelp
Before going to the city we had dinner at Q Grill in Fort Lee, the restaurant has a very welcoming decor with large tables equipped with the traditional grill. We ordered the beef combo, which arrives with the typical assortment of pickles, salads and kimchi, there is a nice variety, but there were some hits and some misses. But we soon focused on the main attraction, the meat! As is customary everything is grilled table side to your requested wellness, first was the skirt stake, that was one heck of an opener, this isn't the easiest cut to prepare well and this was definitely the unsung hero of the combo, it was flavorful and cooked to perfection, unfortunately the hanger and picania were just OK. As the meal progressed we also received the egg and kimchi soup (there are a few options to choose and we went for the kimchi soup), these were really great, with the kimchi soup being one of the better ones we experienced recently and def a notch above some of the k-bbq places we frequent Service was great, and overall we enjoyed the experience, though compared to some of the other k-bbq places around fell a bit short, at least as in regards to the beef combo.

Yelp
Lots of fun and attentive service! They grill the meat at your table. I chose the bulgogi and parmesan oysters. Very delicious! Lots of banchan to add to the fun! The kimchi is slightly better than BCD and Myeong Dang in the neighborhood ( Fort Lee). The meat also came with an egg souffle that looked and tasted so good.
google avatar

Steven F.

Yelp
I felt like a king eating there, with their service of cooking all their meat to perfection beef on my left and pork on my right. Afterward, they would place the meats on a little plate, and I would use minimum strength of using golden chopsticks to grab little meats to shove into my mouth. With little effort of chewing, the meat melted in my mouth. That repeated for about an hour with some amazing bon chon and soup before and in-between meat bliss. Just wow
google avatar

Yelp
My party of 4 arrived around 12:15pm on a Sunday and were promptly seated. There were plenty of tables available for walk-ins, with only a few tables occupied. We ordered the large seafood pancake to share along with the beef combo 5, which comes with 5 different prime cuts of beef. The seafood pancake was torched tableside to ensure the pancake was crispy. The server served the pancake to each of us along with a side of dipping sauce. The beef combo was accompanied by an assortment of banchan, steamed egg, and a miso tofu soup. The server cooked each of the meats on the grill and asked us how we wanted the meats cooked. Our favorite cut was the ribeye steak. There were a couple cuts that were cooked with rosemary on the grill, but we found that taste to be a bit overpowering. Overall, a good spot for kbbq, but some items were on the pricier side. The restaurant could also improve its ventilation, as the restaurant got a bit smokey from the grilling.

Yelp
I've had my fair share of Korean food and kbbq and this is definitely one of the best spots in the area. I came here when they first opened and it didn't disappoint. The service and quality was great and the staff was attentive and cooked everything perfect. Fast forward a few months later and I came here for my mom's birthday dinner and the quality of food and service was even better than the first visit. The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy and they did not try to skimp out on the seafood part. The beef was tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Definitely a must try if you are looking for good Korean bbq. High quality food for an extremely good value

Yelp
The food were amazing, looking forward to try other dishes. The service is superb, the staf were really accomodating and entertaining too. It was the last hour of their opening time for Mother's Day, yet they were so enthusiastic in helping us and was very attentive to our concerns. It was a happy experience with my family for sure.

Yelp
Newly opened Kbbq place in Fort Lee. Clean modern with extensive menu. Super friendly staff who are very attentive and provide great service. Delicious food served esthetically.

Yelp
Stumbled upon Q Grill while looking for a KBBQ restaurant and was surprised by the lack of customers. Despite this, the service and food were excellent. Our server was amazing and very soft-spoken. We ordered the beef combo 1, which was more than enough for two people. The teokbokki appetizer was a bit salty but still good. The ambiance was great with a fantastic song selection. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend.

Vadim B.

Yelp
This is the shortest review I have ever written. The food is not bad, The service is very accommodating. Lunch price is a steal considering the amount of food. In addition, the biggest attraction for me is a great deal Mon-Thursday: $1 oysters, including 3 types of mignonettes. Here comes the twist: They started serving oysters lukewarm, which makes them inedible. I suspect the restaurant keeps them frozen. In order to quickly defrost the oysters, upon receiving an order, they wash them with lukewarm water and serve. If the management read these reviews, please make sure that your oysters are cold when presented to a customer. Otherwise, the attraction is gone, at least for me.

Yelp
Second visit to this place was just as good as the first. Banchan were very good, but not exceptional. We started with grilled, fresh abalone. I eat out a lot and I've never seen fresh abalone before. Absolutely delicious. We had barbecue last time and decided to change it up, dolsot bi bim bap was excellent. Our server was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. The ambiance was a step up from most of the local barbecue places. I'll definitely visit again.

Yelp
Ft. Lee NJ is perched high on a cliff on the Hudson River. But the main drag could be mistaken for Seoul Korea with any number of stores and restaurants lining the business district. HH and MJ suggested tax deduction #3 and I join them for Korean BBQ while we were in town. Always a fave we jumped at the chance. Q Grill is a sleek place with a long narrow dining room lined with BBQ tables, nach, with small efficient and thankfully quiet exhaust fans for the smoke. Our barrel shaped seats doubled as storage lockers with the seat lifting for storage. Pretty cool but really not a great chair for any length of time. Think chair futon. Now the key part, the food. HH and MJ had been before so we left the ordering to them. And order they did. Fantastic starters, awesome Ban chan sets (although no fish cake?!) cold Korean beer, distill my heart I'm in heaven! Food. Food and more food. Bulgogi, spicy pork, chicken! It's like we had a tip on a famine! Tax deduction 3 ate like he was going to the chair! A special of boxed seafood stacked on the grill looked great but would have to wait. Service was a bit spotty but not an issue as the venue and company were fantastic. So if Korean's your jam, take a date or the fam, and go hungree.... to Q-Grill in Ft.Lee. Q-Grill....Go!

Yelp
@foodie_starry perfect korean bbq for both meat lovers and seafood lovers 5 star food quality 5 star service ‍ corn cheese haemool pajeon (seafood pancake) beef combo 1: rib-eye steak, brisket, marinated flat iron steak

Yelp
New kbbq spot in town and it was delicious! Meat quality was great and service was quick but phenomenal! We got our meet at 8pm and she was done cooking them all in 10-15 min. Quickest kbbq service but I also love it when they cook everything for you! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Their seafood pancake was thin and crispy just the way I like it too
google avatar

Irene H.

Yelp
This is my new favorite kbbq place in town. We have been here at least 4x since they opened. - Clean and modern - Nice, attentive service - Love the chadol bagi and seafood pancake the most (it's extra crispy, just the way I like it. - Toddler friendly - Easy parking - Extensive menu. I like the current menu, there is something for everyone.

Sarah K.

Yelp
The hanger steak, jigaes & side dishes were delicious~ Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Excellent food & service. Best part? First time I left a Korean restaurant without wearing the smells!!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Excellent KBBQ place. I actually prefer this to many kbbq spots in KTown and Jersey, beating out the likes of Jongro, Cote, Obaltan and Wooga. I have been here 5x, between the afternoon and into midnight, every time, the service and food quality is top notch. I would say the only thing I wish they served is daechang/large intestine. Their seafood pancake, ban chan, and meat combos are all spectacular. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Johnny Y.

Yelp
Great Korean food with good service and comfortable atmosphere. The raw crab was really nice.
google avatar

Von A.

Yelp
There are a lot of options for KBBQ in Fort Lee - but this place is one of the best. I really like the atmosphere here, with their comfortable seating, super friendly staff, and grills with excellent ventilation (so you don't walk out smelling like smoke) - Oh, and best of all, they have their own private parking lot! The portions are big here, despite not being an AYCE. The meat qualities here are really good, with focus on quality of meat over overly flavored and marinated meats. This place also has one of the best seafood pancakes - you've gotta try it out!
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and high quality food. We enjoyed the usual attentive table-side services that are commonly available at Korean restaurants. Always nice dining experiences whenever we went. We have brought friends and family there several times.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Food: The meat combo options weren't too appealing, so we got marinated galbi and sliced brisket. Both were fine but felt like a small-ish quantity for the price. Banchan dishes were all ok, nothing great. Service: Was fine, nothing outstanding Ambiance: Place seemed pretty new and modern. Overall, with so many KBBQ options in the area, probably will not be coming back as price to value equation just didn't feel right.
google avatar

Isabel C.

Yelp
Service is great here but not sure the price to food quantity/quality ratio matches up -- there are certainly other establishments in the area that could offer a better value. With that said, it's always nice to walk into a new(er) restaurant where things are clean and comfortable.
google avatar

Bergen F.

Yelp
A thin slice of pickled radish, half a teaspoon of the special sauce that arrives at the table piping hot, and a morsel of tender marinated kalbi might just be New Jersey's best bite. It's that good. And the other food here is darn good as well, from the flaky seafood pancake to the spicy sauced cold noodle, with numerous side dishes in between. Everything is delivered with a smile in a clean and modern space that dispenses with the stereotype of "my clothes smell like airborne beef fat when I leave". Actually, the only thing that could use improvement is the kimchi - too sour, but that may just be a matter of taste. Q is definitely a cut above the rest in an area where Korean barbecue places are thick on the ground... or anywhere, for that matter. And we've tried them from Seoul to Los Angeles. We'll be back.
google avatar

Kat W.

Yelp
Amazing good great customer service. Will def come back. Korean bbq is one my f my favorite.
google avatar

Darren C.

Yelp
The food was amazing me and my family enjoyed this place very much. The service was amazing serving us a lot of delicious foods. The ambiance is calm a lot of people but they do have good music.

fangchin c.

Yelp
Great service and easy parking. All the servers smiling attentively throughout the meal. Food was plentiful, tasty and nicely presented. The place is well lit. The ventilation was great, I left without any BBQ smell on our clothings. I left feeling full, and satisfied.
google avatar

Glenn L.

Yelp
Food was so good. Super fresh and the service was excellent. We went with the pork combo.

Abby L.

Yelp
Last experience was so good. My family wants to go again. This time, we took all the photos to share. Everything is perfect.. we really enjoyed

michael b.

Yelp
Every elements of this place is outstanding! They knock it out of the field. Because I love this place so much, there's just one little thing I wish for. It would be GOLDEN if they would let us enjoy the bbq at just a little slower pace. I am not looking to sit there for hours, just want to be able to enjoy the food and conversation at reasonable pace. With that, this place is epitome of K BBQ!
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
A new Korean Bbq experience in the fort Lee area. Had a pleasant experience. Food was fresh and high quality. Service was very pleasant and attentive. Only a language barrier with one of the servers but she was super sweet and hospitable. Place is clean and spacious. Is great for big groups. Is open till late and offers parking. Definitely going back to try the rest of their menu.
google avatar

P K.

Yelp
I'm glad I came to this place, especially since is probably the only place I know that offers meat and seafood on a grill. Quality of food was excellent, fresh and tasty, the side dishes were really good too. This time we only tried the seafood on the grill, but next time I will definitely try the meat on the grill. As an appetizer we ordered the scallion pancakes and it was great too, definitely will order again next time. Of course, being a new restaurant, place is super clean, and service was good too. I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Supposedly they have live octopus, which I'm a fan.

Rafael A.

Yelp
Before I writing this review, I just want to say I am new to Korean BBQ. I came here on a Saturday night in March and the interior was certainly very interesting. I liked how we could store our jackets under our chairs. I also thought it was very cool that they cooked the food right in front of you. I have not seen many restaraunt like this. Service was quick and I never waited for too long. The restaraunt chiefs came and cooked right in front of us and they prepared good food. The only thing I would say is they prepared the food with onion and I don't eat onion and it was hard to separate it. Also the food was a little too spicy for me and I would have preferred if chief would have asked how spicy they can make the meat. For desert, they had mochi and served one mochi per person. The mochi was very good. Overall, this was a good restaraunt and the experience was interesting.
google avatar

Arooj M.

Yelp
Very nice and clean restaurant. Service was top notch. Food came out very quick. Banchan tasted good. Kimchi fried rice was very well cooked and miso soup was very rich in flavor. Will definitely recommend! Menu is very diverse with high quality meat option. They do have happy hour, will definitely be checking that out next time!
google avatar

Ed L.

Yelp
food was good but server overcharged our bill by $50, which was especially distasteful given the bill was in korean and the majority of our party were foreigners. please do better and treat your non-korean customers like you treat your korean customers going forward.

Miyuki M.

Yelp
I was in the area by myself so I ordered a Bibimbap for take-out. I thought Bibimbap would come with rice on the bottom with vegetables and a fried egg on the top but there was no rice and it was on top of lettuce like a salad. I checked the receipt and it sure said Bibimbap. I was disappointed since I wanted to eat rice. Maybe the rice was supposed to come separately but was forgotten? Otherwise, food was fresh tasting and I liked the good portion of sides like kimchi and miso soup included in the $20 order.

Yelp
We usually go to a local place, but I found this new restaurant. We absolutely loved it! Beautifully put together, clean, attentive service! LOVE that they have storage for your coat and purse so it doesn't stink when you leave . Not large portions but we all left full and extremely happy! Definitely returning

Yelp
We went here for the first time for my mom's birthday and it was an amazing time. Just great food great customer service and overall great quality. I would highly recommend this.

Yelp
Came in this restaurant and the atmosphere was a nice quiet and calming restaurant. The waiters of this restaurant were fantastic and they were really nice and the jobs they were doing were really amazing. Once we ordered side dishes came out almost at an instant and after these side dishes came out the meats came out and the waiter put them on the grill immediately. The food was honestly really amusing, I'd recommend the steamed egg, the egg is nice, fluffy, pillowy soft, and puffy, non marinated short ribs are really nice with that smokiness right after putting it in the grill. There are other amazing dishes to try and I'll keep this response short. All in all a bit pricey but I'll definitely come back here soon.

Yelp
The meats were so delicious! I'll have to come back to try the variety of other different things they had. Seafood pancake appetizer was delicious with big pieces of seafood. A great place for dinner.
