Q & C Hotel (New Orleans, Louisiana) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in between the artsy, metropolitan Warehouse District and the one-of-a-kind French Quarter, the Q&C Hotel makes its home in New Orleans’s Central Business District. Operating out of what was once the headquarters of the New Orleans and Northeastern Railroad, this boutique hotel occupies both a 12-story tower and a smaller neighboring building. Inside, its original exposed brick walls contrast with modern, industrial-style furnishings and nods to NOLA history, in the form of historical photographs. Q&C’s bar has earned local recognition for its happy hour, serving inventive cocktails, light bites, and local brews in a space that’s a dead ringer for an estate’s cozy library." - Tablet Hotels

We had a lovely stay here. The staff is so so friendly - especially Gianna and Ariana (I think those were their names) at the front desk. The room was immaculate and the whole vibe was so specific to New Orleans. I loved the location - close to the French quarter but away from the madness. So many excellent restaurants in walking distance and also a short walk to the WWII museum.

Google
Fantastic hotel. Good location to explore the city, within minutes walk of Canal Street and French Quarter, but just far enough to avoid the craziness of Bourbon Street when you want some peace and quiet. I love the decor, a mix of traditional southern charm with a modern and moody flair. Very quiet inside, the rooms are on a smaller side but sufficient to be functional. Same with bathroom space, definitely a one person at a time type of space. The whole place gives out a very sexy vibe without being over the top. Also...Ms. Sonya at the bar, during breakfast time is a hoot and just a joy to talk to. She makes the start of your day so much better! Over all the staff is pleasant and accommodating, rooms are comfortable and stylish, and the location of the hotel is within walking distance to most attractions, but at the same time easily accessible and a bit away from all the noise and party people. Definitely will stay again and I am giving them high recommendation.

Google
This was a good boutique hotels with a very rustic feel to it. Some may think that means it's a bit outdated, and I'd agree with that as well. However, the ambiance is very nice and the people are amazing. I had a slight problem with the lights in my room, and the front desk immediately sent someone to fix it, gave me $20 in a refund, and they were super understanding about the whole thing. ||The location of the hotel is a bit awkward. It's close enough that I didn't want to waste money calling an uber but far enough that it's like a 10-20 minute walk from anything that I wanted to do in the French quarter. The car traffic there is really bad, so I wanted to avoid taking cabs as much as possible. ||As for the the hard product itself, the room was very small. It was a simple desk and bed. It was however a pretty nice bed and comfortable enough for two people. The breakfast was nothing special but solid. I got $20 in food and beverage credit daily for being a Marriott Platinum member. I got 4pm late checkout as well.

Stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves! Nice hotel with two buildings that gives you access to both which includes the gym, restaurant and bar. The food was amazing!! Our family had a delicious breakfast here and really enjoyed it!! Special thanks to SONYIA!! SONYIA was so kind, friendly and just all around a wonderful individual who made our experience all the better!! I hope the Q & C hotel knows what an asset SONYIA is!! KENNETH, who helped me at the front desk was fantastic too! KENNETH was Friendly, smart & helpful & went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. The rooms are very well kept and the beds/linens were super comfortable! They only heads up you may need… They keep the place freezing so You may need to ask for extra blankets! Other than that, you will LOVE it here!! can’t say enough about our stay here at Q & C hotel - from the valet guys to the hardworking housekeepers; the entire staff at their on site restaurant/bar; everyone we encountered during our long weekend… Were really awesome !

Google
All staff members we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many popular spots. Valet parking is available, but we opted to self-park in garage on Camp and Poydras for $30/day as we weren't needing to drive anywhere during our stay. As with most older buildings, there is occasional plumbing problems but maintenance arrived at the room quickly and professionally to resolve. I have stayed here a couple of times and will stay again.

Stayed here because of status with Marriott and found it to be a beautiful hotel but with several downsides.||1. No assistance/ baggage assistance at check-in- and it seems the front desk can’t/ won’t leave their desk, so be aware if you arrive after hours (I noticed during the day there is a valet and they perhaps assist?)|2. Checked into a freezing cold room at 11pm at midnight that took more than 2 hours to resolve. Essentially, got into room and it was a BRISK 55 degrees F. I figured someone had just set the thermostat super low so turned off the whole unit, went to the gym, and came back at 12:30MN but the same temperature (though the unit was off). I went back down to the front desk (my phone was accidentally unplugged apparently at the wall though the light was showing as on, so couldn’t call down also), and someone showed up eventually. He had to open up the whole unit in the ceiling to turn it on at least to heat, but he indicated the thermostat was not working at all on the unit. So I just had to leave it at 72F. The front desk didn’t seem to apologetic about this at all, I did complain to Marriott to ideally inform the GM that the least they could do (especially late at night) is to check that basics like AC and the phone are up to par.|3. No attention paid to DND sign on knob: the following morning after AC-gate, I had left the DND sign on the door only to have not one, not two but three knocks on the door in the morning. Even though I had told the front desk staff I’d just stay on the current room at 72F, I got a loud banging on my door (despite the DND sign) at 0830 (5-6 hours of sleep only, of course I ignored). Then the cleaning staff ALSO knocked on the door about an hour later. And again an hour later. 🥲 The second night I wrote on a piece of paper and stuck it on the door not to knock as I hadn’t slept. They did not knock. (But please advise the staff to acknowledge the DND sign! Otherwise, what else is it there for?|4. Was delighted they had a gym (selected for that reason, and even a Peloton! Big plus) but if you’re staying in the “Queen” building, you have to leave the building and cross a small road/ lane to get to the other building where the gym is located on the second floor. It’s more of an inconvenience and especially ? unsafe if working at odd hours. Plus I saw many a car speed down on to that lane trying to avoid traffic on the Main Street (they could benefit from possibly putting up a sign on behalf of guests).||The breakfast staff are very warm/ friendly and food was tasty.||Wanted to love, but giving a 3/5.

Google
Great location, extremely walkable. AMAZING service from front desk, valet, and bar. Unfortunately, our room was a bit on the smaller side and our window blinds ended up breaking, so we couldn't roll the window up or down our entire trip. That being said, front desk handled the situation very well and treated us well. The maintenance man was also extremely professional and a pleasure to talk to! :)

My new favorite New Orleans hotel from here on out. Love the atmosphere. In a safe neighborhood. Great food. Great drinks open late. Service was great and the rooms are eclectic. Location is an easy walk to everything

Yelp
We stayed at the Q&C HotelBar for two nights in July. The Yelp reviews and great cost brought us to this location. Essence Festival was also taking place, so we were able to experience some of the Friday festivities also. We flew in from Atlanta pretty late, so I called the hotel twice on the day of arrival (in the morning and evening after we arrived to the airport) to advise that we were coming, but not checking in until after 11 PM due to the land time for our red eye flight. The customer service was great from both employees that I spoke with prior to arrival. They took the time to make note of our arrival and this resulted in a smooth quick check in process when we arrived around midnight. The front desk clerk was friendly and gave a detailed overview of the property and it's amenities. We appreciated this greatly after a late night flight. Upon entry, I was immediately impressed by the hospitality and the decor of this boutique hotel. From patterned wall paper, to art throughout the public areas, it gave me a home away from home vibe with southern charm. Note: There are two buildings. The building on the left is where check in and the restaurant are located. The building right next door has the space for private events, vending machines, a lounge and 24 hour gym as well as hotel rooms. Our room was located on the fourth floor of the building where check in was located and was small as expected, since I booked the "smaller king room" option. The space was perfect for two people (there was no sofa, sofa bed, or chaise, and one chair and table). It felt cozy like being in a home instead of a hotel (think guest bedroom at a friend's house). The AC blasted cold for us. The king bed was true to size and comfortable. I slept well and slept in both nights and enjoyed a good nap before the essence festival concert. This was truly a perk for me because I do not like hotels with uncomfortable beds. Additionally, the noise level was little to none. There was not free breakfast, but there was a restaurant on site. There was free ice water infused with lemon or oranges located near the elevators on the first floor with fresh fruit (apples and oranges). We used both to stay hydrated. The hotel was in an ideal location in the business district within walking distance to Canal street! It was very close to Caesar's Palace casino, The Sazerac House, Ernest's Cafe and Mother's, Hot Bennys, and Willie's Chicken shack (we walked to all). There were also vendors set up right behind the hotel so you could eat or shop! I loved that our hotel was close enough for Ubers to be inexpensive to Bourbon Street, without being in the noiser areas. I appreciated not having the noise of Bourbon Street, while still having proximity to it and Canal street nightlife and restaurants. I loved this experience and would stay here again.

Yelp
This place is due for a renovation and new ownership. While staff is nice, this hotel is bad. For starters, our TV welcomed the previous guest...not us. For something as automatic as the name being switched, not sure what happened here. Our floor boards were partially torn up in our room entrance and hurt to step on! The headboard of our bed was not secured. The soap was bolted down in the bathroom like a Holiday Inn would do. Valet took over 15+ minutes and had no intention of being quick. No free coffee in the lobby - it is $4. Also, street racers at night shook our thin windows. Positive reviews seem sponsored...

Yelp
We recently stayed here in our latest New Orleans as our regular hotel was pricing out at over $1K per night. There are two buildings (adjacent to each other) and we stayed in the original property. This is an older boutique hotel that is priced right. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This is not the JW but the price is right and it has a lot of character. Everyone is very friendly and service was exceptional throughout our visit. Oh, and the location is perfect a block from Canal, Magazine St, and the business district. The bar is the star here! It is very well stocked and the bartenders are mixologists serving up some fine craft cocktails. We enjoyed some righteous old fashioneds and espresso martinis. Do check out their bourbons I enjoyed some of Kentucky's finest here.

Yelp
Great boutique hotel located minutes from the French Quarter. Beautiful, clean, friendly staff and adorable room with very comfy beds! I'd stay here again especially because it's part of the Marriott family - easy way to collect those loyalty points!

Yelp
The Q&C is a lovely hotel in the heart of New Orleans. While not in the direct hustle and bustle of the French quarter, you're still within a short walk which honestly I much prefer as it's definitely quieter! There is a restaurant & bar, as well as a valet service should you need. We were able to find street parking each night so that's also an option! The interior as you walk in was beautiful, lots of brick and felt very New Orleans esk. Dallas at the front desk checked us in and was super kind & helpful. My room was lovely, similar feel to the entrance of the hotel with lovely brick and wood. The bathroom was stunning and I was equipped with a good sized closet, desk, and a large TV. Everything was very clean! The bed and pillows were comfortable which is usually hard to find! Coffee maker with coffee and tea pods. Gym for use but in the building across the street - had multiple cardio machines and free weights. The only complaint would be the noise levels. The first night I had someone next door and not sure if it was just them particularly or the hotel but I could hear the door slam all night until midnight as they came & went. The next night they must have checked out because I didn't hear anything and slept just fine. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Such a swanky feel! There's something that's said about cozy, swanky, and friendly! Most def the place to go for a change of scenery, familiar faces in a new place, and paired with some amazing cuisine! Everyone there is to be cherished and adored!!!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite hotels in New Orleans French Quarter area. They always get it right my room is immaculate and clean. The hotel services were spot on and the people are pretty friendly.

Yelp
Q&C Hodtel is located in a great locationon, short walk or UBER ride to most attractions and party spots in New Orleans. The staff was great, everyone I interacted with from valet, front desk bar and wait staff was friendly and accommodating At check in I received tokens for free glasses of wine, which were perfect for a night cap. The king room I stayed in was small, well decorated and clean if you plan on spending most of your time to of the room and exploring New Orleans, the room was perfect, if you plan on spending a lot of time in the room, then it will be claustrophobic. Water in the shower was hot; but the water pressure leaves a lot to be desired. Noise level was high, I stayed on a weekend and the noise from the hall was noticeable, note to Q&C, soundproof the doors, after midnight things did quiet down inside the hotel. Outside was a different story, the windows need soundproofing also, you could hear people shouting in the street and a 4:00 on Saturday morning I was waken by the wound of what sounded like a weed whacker and I was on the 5th floor. Not the hotels fault, except for the fact that the windows could be thicker. Would I stay here again, yes if I was in town for a short period of time to party and walk through New Orleans, no if I needed rest and I was visiting for work.

Yelp
This is a 2 building split hotel. Main building houses the restaurant/bar and some guest rooms while the 2nd building directly across the street houses a more relaxed lounge area, the gym and more guest rooms. The second building also houses what they consider a "vending area" not very accessible as it's in a hallway of dirty ceiling piled high towels and linen carts. Not sure if this was an overflow type of situation but it was a bit gross to see. I would not recommend this hotel for families with small kids simply because the atmosphere is not there, but for adult couples wanting a more relax non-hectic stay this is perfect. No pool available. The hotel has an old world vibe to it most suitable for a more mature crowd. We had dinner and breakfast here. Both we're actually very surprisingly delicious. Bar personnel is interesting. At night our bartender Tammy seemed overwhelmed and was not personable at all at first. She seemed different with others (assuming they are regulars) but towards the end of our dinner she changed it up a bit and actually smiled at us lol. Wow Tammy you should smile more often babe! Morning bartender/server was an older gentleman, very respectable and worked at his own pace. We had breakfast at 9 so it wasn't busy. Bonboy members because they don't have a complementary lounge like other Marriott hotels they offer a 750 points or free complementary breakfast on top of your 1k point. We got our 1k points and opted for the breakfast simply because we wanted to try out their food. Not dissatisfied at all. Location wise it's fairly close to a lot of things away from Bourbon Street. We walked to the casino with no issues and the area was actually pretty clean which is a surprise for Nola streets lol. Parking is the big one here. $42 for valet parking but my regular Nissan titan is considered an oversize vehicle so it would have been $62! My truck isn't even lifted but they said it was too big. We opted to self park in the same exact garage across the street where they park anyways for $30 and yes it includes in and out options. All in all, this hotel is good for an older more mature and relaxed crowd. I would not recommend for bachelor parties, or girl trips, or a family with small children simply because the vibe is not there. Romantic getaway? Yes this hotel would fit the mold.

Yelp
Stephanie at the bar RULES! Energetic, charming, and manages always to share a personal moment no matter how busy things are. The hotel is very conveniently located and the public spaces clean and attractively furnished. My room, however, was way below the standard of any Marriott I have ever visited.

Yelp
The hotel is rustic, and the rooms were smaller than I desired. But we loved the location and staff!

Yelp
Q&C Hotel bar is located in the lobby of the hotel. Has a small seating area and bar space for guests. It cycles between been very busy and very chill depending on when you go. Service Our bartender was great and welcoming and did a great job of letting us know what drinks to get - very hospitable. The wait staff was also really good and made sure to check on us to see if we had what we needed. It was really great to have that kind of service. Drinks All the drinks were amazing and compared to what I'm used to DC, affordable - maybe on the higher side since located in an hotel but well worth it. The hotel offered a free tasting of wine and we bought a few drinks and a special drink the bartender liked to make. All were great and I would definitely come back for drinks regardless of if i stayed at the hotel or not. Food I ended up ordering dinner here twice during my stay. The first night I had the burger and fries and the second night the pizza. The burger was hefty and delicious and the fries were plentiful - they didn't hold back at all. The pizza was really really good especially if you like a sweeter tomato sauce. They call it a personal pan on the menu but its enough to feed two people. I would recommend both. Overall For food and drink service this is a great place to stop by if you're in the city. You can't miss with the food and the drinks. The service is good and welcoming. One of my favorite places when it comes to hotel bars.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
Location is great as it's off the beaten path from French Quarter, though the rooms are quite small and "continental breakfast" for $12 (complimentary for Bonvoy elite) doesn't leave much to be desired - a plain bagel, fruit, coffee.... It is better than nothing, but with so many great food places, why waste it on this and keep your points. Notable for breakfast is Daisy Dukes, a short walk away. Would I stay here again... I'd try to get a different location.

Yelp
Cute boutique hotel with a short walking distance to Magazine street, Canal and Bourbon street. When we arrived we checked in and were given some tokens to sample wine at the bar. We got in late so we decided to eat at the hotel bar. The bartender recommended the blackened chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint! We cashed in our token for the wine sample and that was a decent size. The room was a little smaller than we thought but the design is cute. The bathroom was missing soaps and lotion but we asked for them at the front.

Yelp
Excellent location. Excellent value in terms of the room. Comfy beds. Excellent bar and dining options, with commendable service in both. Courteous front desk staff. Heck, even the valet was super-friendly. I have only one reason I can't give this place a solid 5, but it is kind of a big deal. The housekeeping crew piled up dirty linens and collected garbage in the hallways, and left it overnight. I observed this on multiple floors, in some cases piled waist-high. It was there when I first checked in. It remained overnight, in spite of the evening manager being notified. The piled up linen is unsightly, but the accumulated garbage is downright unsanitary. Also, it kind of smells. Do better, Q&C. The interior of the hotel should not look/smell like the streets outside.

Yelp
Hey when you have a team that dedicated their attention to you that is always a good thing. Wonderful beverages the staff were quick to serve and satisfy. This boutique hotel which is a Marriott property is worth the look. Large Rooms, ice machines on every floor, this has been a fun place to visit.

Yelp
Stephanie was so welcoming when we arrived at the hotel bar late nite. She made us drinks and introduced us to the others. It was such a great way to start our trip to Nola! Can't wait to come back tomorrow nite!

Yelp
I was attending a conference and alot of us decided to stay here. The room was underwhelming for the price, shower was lukewarm, charging ports did not work. Breakfast was quite nice, tasty food and Sonia took care of us. The elder lady at the bar was a little grumpy and I had to wait for my drink. I finally gave up whilst waiting to be asked if I would like something else. Probably won't return.

Ashton T.

Yelp
Leaving a review specifically for the Q&C Bar - Stephanie is an incredible bartender with a wealth of experience. I have had one of the best espresso martinis at this bar I have ever had. Also, ask her for her Hibiscus French 75. I asked Stephanie for a Ramos gin fizz, which is my favorite cocktail. Unfortunately, without the ISI whipper, it became a group shaking experience to make the drink happen. My only critique is for this master mixologist to have the necessary equipment to make her drinks come to life.

Yelp
Stephanie's Hibiscus French 75 is the best cocktail I've had in years!!! Kudos! Amazing service by both Craig and Stephanie at the bar, great pizza, and cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Artsy and old world boutique hotel in the business district. Most of the staff were very accommodating and had wonderful energy and bright smiles. From the delightful gentleman who served me breakfast on 12/19 to the manager on 12/18 who was so bright and inviting at 5 am. She went the extra mile to walk me to the next building when I asked the location of the gym. Unfortunately, there was an exception. The bartender that worked on December 18th at 9:15 pm completely ignored me when I sat at the bar. There was only a couple and one other man there. I sat for several minutes, and he did not muster as much as a "Hello, I'll be with you in a minute" or even eye contact as he passed me twice. I find that completely insulting and not reflective of the Marriott customer service I've become accustomed to. So I left. The bartender the night before was completely delightful so the contrast was notable. The room is nicely decorated but I was disappointed in the tight bathroom, small pillows, and no comforter. Only sheets over a thin blanket. When I called for an extra blanket I was informed that they ran out. So there's an area of opportunity for that. Additionally, the room faced the other building and I could see into other rooms and vice versa if the blinds were up. Sheers would have been nice for privacy so I could still let the light in while not having to worry about being seen. I'm on the fence for whether or not I'd stay again but I don't regret my stay in large part because of the truly friendly and welcoming staff.

Yelp
Loved it here!! Beautiful historical building. The rooms were very small but clean and very comfy beds. All of the staff were always pleasant and all smiles. Daily housekeeping was nice to have for our 6 day stay. Don't count on anything from vending. They didn't work. Happiness was found at the small bar with reasonable prices. Husband is pretty sure that the lobby on the 2nd building is haunted. But that seems to be nothing but an afterthought in NOLA, so nothing to concern yourself with.

Yelp
Good stuff happening at this relatively inconspicuous spot. Great pizzas, cocktails, and specials coming from their kitchen. The pulled pork sandwich was slaying with flavor! Super good! We enjoyed popping here for dinner and watching some football. Good stuff and definitely good for a hotel lobby bar.

Yelp
At the Q&C Hotel Bar New Orleans for the week. The good: Room was upgraded before I arrived. Acknowledged when I checked in. Upgraded during check in back again due to an issue that is the process of being resolved - crossing fingers. Food and Beverage credit and breakfast options provided vs points. F&B and breakfast taken. I know, it's NoLA and the food here is amazing but 1000pts vs 5 days of breakfast seem like a no brainer. Update on the good: breakfast was cooked to order, not just continental. Was limited menu, about 5-6 breakfast choices from an omelet, to chicken and waffles, to a breakfast sandwich. Well worth about $30-35 daily, so all good there. They fixed the room rate issue at checkout. Thanks to Vanessa "seafood"! Location is awesome! Walking distance to everything. Just a block from parades and great restaurants, parks, etc. Only a few blocks from river walk, Bourban St and French Quarter. Service was awesome and will be back again. The bad: my reservation was cancelled the day of arrival without anyone trying to contact me. Called the Bonvoy line who was helpful, but could only book a room at the current rates. Discounts were better than what I saw on line, but not as good as my original rates. The hotel cancelled because my card would not process, but why did they charge the full amount upfront before I even arrived? That's a first for me. Ended up my card was being used without my knowledge, so my CC company was doing the right thing. So I booked the more expensive smaller room since I needed to catch my flight, but called the hotel right after. They told me what happened and said they can fix it if I send a new CC number. Ok, no problem, but why didn't they email, chat (already asked for late check out, so was on chat after check in on line) or call me first? Anyway, did that while trying to board the plane and hoped for the best. I arrived at the hotel very late (about midnight) and the person at the desk was very friendly and helpful but charged the higher amount even after he said he saw the original reservation. Once I told him, he said he would fix it and still waiting as I don't see any adjustments on my card. Going to be patient as it's nuts here for Mardi Gras, but the cancellation without checking my back up card or contacting me was a bummer. Update on the bad: I asked everyday and was always told nicely the rate would be handled, but no one said a word and no changes to rates on app/online. Didn't spend a lot of time, just went to the desk when walking in or out of hotel when not busy, but would have been nice to be contacted by the GM who cancelled my reservation to make it right. Thermostat and heat/cooling system would only run cold or hot. Let front deck know daily and was never fixed so it was either too cold or too hot. Thankfully weather was decent enough that it wasn't too big an issue, but still an issue. Rooms are nice and it's a great location. Hoping for the best, but going to enjoy the stay regardless. Will deal with it after tomorrow when the crowd and stress dies down.

Yelp
What a quaint little hotel near the heart of New Orleans! Upon arrival, I felt so welcomed into their hotel, and once I entered my room, I fell even more in love! It is definitely not your typical Marriott experience, which was nice for once! My room was very comfortable. My coworker and I explored the place a bit and discovered the secondary building (building next door) along with the gym in the basement! There was even a Peloton bike in the gym, how cool! I know most people don't really care for hotel food because it's normally your standard meals, BUT let me tell you how delicious the food and drink here is!! With happy hour daily from 4-7 pm, you bet we took advantage of it! We had a couple meals here and breakfast every morning, open from 6:30 -10:30 am, AND IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS! Some of my favorites were: - Margarita pizza - Arugula salad - Omelet with a side of arugula salad and fresh cheese: Maybe THE best, highly recommend - Baked oatmeal with fresh berries The city is easy to navigate by foot from the hotel because of its central location! We had a wonderful server and I am sad I forgot her name, but she was so friendly and made some great recommendations when we were stuck between different dishes and drinks. I am glad we enjoyed her last service right before she went on maternity leave during Valentine's Day weekend! Thank you for a wonderful experience at your hotel!

Yelp
I really had a great stay at this hotel. The location is great and it puts you within reasonable walking distance of the WWII Museum, some of the great CBD restaurants, a supermarket, Canal Street, and French Quarter. And given the noise and craziness of French Quarter, this is a far better location to stay. The hotel is very low-key and calm. Very good and friendly staff. Nice bar that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though I didn't get a chance to have any meals there. The room was sufficiently big with a fridge and safe as well. The armchair was in an odd place next to the TV, which made it impossible to watch TV from anywhere other than in bed. Room service does not clean every day "due to Covid"-it wasn't a big deal for me but it might be for some. The only reason I dinged this hotel a star was the water. Good luck figuring out the water temperature for the sink or shower. Sometimes hot came out of the cold tap and sometimes cold came out of the hot tap. I was able to take somewhat hot showers but not as hot as I'm used to. And I know that's a big deal for some people. All that being said, I'd definitely stay here again and I recommend it.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with an awesome bar located right in the middle of all the things you'll want to see/eat/do while in New Orleans. The staff are friendly and check-in was a breeze. The only issue I had was with the water in the bathroom. The temperature controls did not work so the water was hot hot hot!!!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! From the front desk to the room to the bar itself, everything was great! The building is old and while it shows, it has also been refinished and a tad updated...While still retaining its old world charm. The rooms have the original hardwood floors, albeit refinished, but they still show marks and it makes you wonder if only those walls could talk. The bar looks like a speakeasy and the bartender (Craig) was fantastic. We ended up there for a lot of nightcaps. The breakfast is pretty spot-on. The waitress in the AM was quick with the coffee and the food was tasty. Literally the whole staff here was pleasant to deal with. The one small issue we had was housekeeping kept trying to barge in our room even with the DND sign on and even after they would knock and we would dismiss them. Invasion of privacy, much? The hotel is split into two buildings. We stayed in the main Queen building but saw games and whatnot in the other building. Since we were here for NYE the hotel provided a free bottle of champagne, flutes, noisemakers, and a hat. Nice touch! The location is central to nearly everything and since we come to NOLA so often we were able to find our way back from nearly everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Very stylish and comfortable beds. Was happy to see their restaurant and bar was actually operating- several hotels that I looked at had all of their amenities closed. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is using their parking. You basically park your car at the open parking lot across the street. They charged me $31 plus tax to leave my car unattended in a lot and there's several places in the area that are cheaper and at least covered.

Yelp
This hotel was super cute. Very old fashioned but with a modern twist. It used to be a train stop if I'm not mistaken. I was here for 4 days on the 6th floor and I felt right at home. All of the staff were friendly to guests and to each other. Probably because it's a small staff. There are two buildings, the one across the street is the Crescent building, which is where the fitness center is. The building I was in, the Queen building, is where the bar/restaurant is. The lobby has really comfy, plush seating. The area where you eat has high tops and low tops. I enjoyed dinner and happy hour here a few nights. The room was nice. I had a huge window and a huge King bed. The photos on the wall of Sachmo were a nice touch. The marble and hardwood floored me, no pun intended. I didn't like how small the bathroom was but it worked for just me. No curtain on the shower either but they do have the sliding farm doors. There were plenty of outlets all over the room and a refrigerator. The weird thing was, no microwave in the entire building. So why refrigerate if I can't microwave? Any way, I was pretty close to Canal street and walked frequently to Bourbon, Jackson Square, etc. I'd stay here again. Probably is a great low key spot for Mardi Gras. Or maybe not because nothing is low key during Mardi Gras LOL!

Yelp
Delicious coffee and breakfast. I had the salmon bagel and some eggs. The bagel was so yum with cream cheese and capers and lots of salmon! Great price too!

Yelp
No great. Room was below average. The floor in the bathroom was disgusting and the shower wasn't much better. The window was blocked out so it felt like we were in a cave. Seriously just one day of some fixes would make it much better. Can't believe the prices they can get for a room that needs so much little repair. The staff was so so. No eye contact and taking phone calls before even acknowledging people in front of them. Was hoping for a lot more cleanliness.

Yelp
The Q&C hotel... only a 5 minute walk to Bourbon street gives you the good times of Née Orleans but also the distance for some quite and relaxation! The Q&C hotel staff goes beyond just giving you a key to a room... they provide an experience! A couple of weeks ago, about 20 of my closest friends stayed at the Q&C hotel to celebrate my birthday. From start to finish the Q&C hotel staff did all they could to ensure that we had an amazing stay! Major shoutout to the sales team - specifically Claudia - for going above and beyond for me and my guest! Thank you hosting a welcoming reception that included king cake, lemonade and even a bag of goodies for me! Shoutout to ms. Sunshine at the bar for taking take of us every morning with breakfast and libations! Thank you to the front desk for ensuring all my guest were safe and even supplied me with some lotion when I a little ashy! Huge shoutout to the housekeeping staff who were soooo friendly and hospitable. Even when I didn't ask for a room cleaning they knocked just to check on me and to offer fresh towels.

Yelp
What a great event space! We held an event in the Library and Den. Claudia was absolutely instrumental and amazing with the contract, set up, and event follow-up. I would highly recommend organizations work with this space. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about the food that we ordered, which is made in house. The space was gorgeous and great for photo ops. Not having to set up or cleanup was a huge bonus to renting this space. The entire process seemed very easy from initially reaching out, receiving prompt contact follow-up, signing documents / making decisions, showing up up to a great setup, and then having an amazing event! Huge thank you to the bartender, chef, and Claudia. There were two downsides that may impact how you hold your event; the bar itself was cash only and the space remains open for hotel guests to walk through. We did not have an open bar and they do not have a point of sale system set up in that space right now so guests had to have cash, walk across the street to purchase at the main bar, or walk a block to an ATM for cash. There were quite a few hotel guests that walked through the area heading to the elevators and what not. For the most part they were courteous, and it wasn't an issue. There was one group that ended up being rowdy and loud during our talk/presentation, but they were asked to quiet down and they left.

Yelp
This place is the perfect needle drop, set in the middle of New Orleans. You go one way and walk to the Superdome/SKC and WWII Museum or walk the other way and find yourself in the French Quarter, Congo Square and Riverfront. Only used a Lyft once all weekend as everything was walking distance from the hotel. The staff is friendly and amazing, hotel was busy but we got a room in the non lobby/bar building - which was nice, chill and quiet. Rooms were clean and trendy. Art work and NOLA inspired themes everywhere. Only bummer is kitchen closes early but it's New Orleans you can find great food every where. Definitely coming back to this wonderful city and for sure staying at the Q&C again.

Yelp
Great choice for a quick stay in New Orleans! The location is right on the beaten path for all things authentically Nola and the staff is awesome! I really felt like I was staying with family while staying there. The bar is also a great place to hang out and have a drink while relaxing or before hitting up the French Quarter. The only downside I had to this hotel is the size of the bathroom. It was quite tiny. The rooms are great and have such an old school flair. From the authentic hard wood floors to the wooden framed windows, there's a lot of charm here.

Yelp
This hotel is dark and creepy the pictures were no where near the room I received. The hardwood displayed in the pictures are actually concrete and the bathroom was a closet. No complaints on the staff the night auditor did an excellent job trying to make me comfortable. This hotel needs to be closed for updates and renovations. Lastly the hotel doesn't have a clean smell it smells wet I wasn't impressed at all and I usually love AUTOGRAPH hotels.

Yelp
The hotel is centrally located and the staff are nice. There is free, unlimited bottled water and I received a goodie bag upon check-in and two wine tasting coins. That's where the good stuff ends. The room was so small, you'd run into the bed trying to get in/out of the bathroom. The bathroom has a sliding, barn-style door that doesn't close all the way or lock. It even got stuck a few times, so I am glad I had guest with me. The toilet didn't flush well, no matter how many times you flushed. The shower had a half glass, so the rest was open, leaving the floor susceptible to the water. The pressure was like a fire hose! The water never really got hot, even when turned up all the way. There were mounted bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They were WAY to fragrant for me. When it came to bedtime, the curtains were only for decor. Two shades were in the windows, but didn't help keep the light out. The pillows were so uncomfortable, my guest and I were unable to sleep the entire stay of 3 nights. We even told the front desk. I would have liked a comforter or duvet, as all the bed had were three pillows and a set of sheets. Overall, I couldn't wait to leave and would not book here again.

Yelp
Nice hotel in the heart of New Orleans, walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. Classic, historic hotel with a rich history. I would recommend.

Yelp
Tammy at the Q&C Hotel Bar made the best White Russian (Caucasion: Big Lebowski). The book end to our trip to New Orleans!

Yelp
We had a terrible experience at this hotel. There is no way the bedding is washed in between each guest. As I was getting into the bed, something told me to check out the sheets. I noticed a grease stain with black lines in it and on other areas of the sheet. After going back and forth with the lady at the front desk and being told there were no available rooms, we were given new sheets to put on the bed ourselves. After finding other stains on the new sheets we were finally moved to a new room. We inspected the new sheets before getting into bed and there were rips in them! We were going to ignore it for the night, but after reading other reviews about people finding hair in the bed, we decided to check around the pillows and sure enough, there was quite a bit of hair. This being the last straw we demanded to be put at another hotel. So at 130 am after a long night of traveling, we hopped in an Uber and went down the street to the JW Marriott. It was like a difference between night and day. I am so disappointed in our experience here. First time in New Orleans and this is what we have to deal with. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

Yelp
Great experience here at Q&C. First of all, the customer service is amazing. Every single person was so friendly and helpful and lively. Shoutout to Vanessa at the front, give that girl a raise. John in the cafe, also great. The room was on the smaller side, but cute and quaint. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to canal street, 5 minute walk to french quarter, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet at night. No complaints at all! If I come back, I would probably stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel is adorable but the rooms are VERY tiny. There's no closet to store your things and I've never seen a smaller bathroom--I had to turn sideways to squeeze between the sink and shower to get to the toilet, and I'm 5'3" and very petite. When in the bathroom at all, I couldn't really put my elbows up; it's that cramped. I also didn't find the room that comfortable: the choice of hard floor without carpeting (made to look like exposed concrete) was pretty weird. And the last weird thing is the staircase (at least on the side I'm on) leads to an emergency exit only (alarm will sound), so you must wait for the very slow elevators even when you're a floor or two up.

Yelp
Very mixed review. Some super friendly and helpful staff and other .... Well the opposite end of the spectrum. Very inconsistent is probably the best way to describe the entire experience. Most like wouldn't return to this hotel.

Yelp
I came here for a work happy hour last Friday evening. They have a nice set up off to the side of the lobby area. They also have a small room on the side of the bar for a more cozy and intimate setting. We had at least 20 people show up for our event. We congregated around the large, over-sized rectangular table and did fine there. They have 2 large screen tvs and played decent music in the background, too. The drinks were very slow to come out, but they were tasty. We also ordered 4 of their foods on the happy hour menu (and got a few rounds more of them, too). The French Fries were great. I think the consensus would be that enjoyed those the most. They were seasoned well and accompanied by ketchup and another spicy dip that was delicious. The Margherita Pizza was pretty good, too. The Boudin Balls were yummy also, but you only get 3 per order, so not really great for a big group. The Provoleta (melted Provolone, Garlic and herbs in a skillet, served with Focaccia Toast) was ok. If you order it, make sure to eat it as soon as it comes out. As it cools, the cheese hardens into a glob and is too hard to serve or eat. Overall, a cool place that I would definitely enjoy coming back to.

Yelp
The customer service here has been too notch! We don't remember the First Lady we spoke with for an early check in, her name started with a " J", she was so kind! On our check out, we spoke with Vanessa about a late check out and she was so gracious and kind as well! Everyone we spoke with while here has been amazing!! Phenomenal customer service! We will be back and for sure staying here again! Even the engineer was amazing. I was drunk one night, I walked back back to my room without my husband, drunkingly locked the door behind me. I had my fair share of daiquiris lol. The engineer was like no problem! Was able to unlock the door super easy. The rooms are so charming! Very clean. One down is that the doors don't close like a traditional hotel door. So you have to make sure you close the door behind you. Other than that, no complaints!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Q&C in early March during a visit to NOLA to attend a convention. What's nice about the Q&C Hotel is that it is a nice walk to the convention center and it has a lot of quaint personality. My husband and his colleagues have stayed here in the past and really love the bar, plus the updated/vintage decor. It's a city hotel, so there is no view out the window and there is a lot of ambient noise from the street and other patrons. During our stay we had free breakfast coupons so we ate in the small restaurant every morning. The food was disappointing and the service ponderous. I guess this could be attributed to Covid. Anyway, I would suggest skipping the breakfast and saving your money for the bar at night. I didn't have a drink at the bar, but by 4 pm everyday there was a lively crowd enjoying happy hour.
