12 Best New Bars to Try in San Francisco Right Now

"QBar is another space that’s finally come back after it shut down due to a fire in 2019, opening back up to the Castro crowds as of November 2024. As Hoodline reports, the bar has gotten a much-needed remodel, with new art installed into the space. Themed nights and parties are back, too, keep an eye on Qbar’s Instagram for the latest events." - Dianne de Guzman

Bartenders never asked me if I wanted a drink or even spoke to me…I don’t know if it was because I was black and I didn’t fit the demographic but I found it also disrespectful that instead of attending the patrons the bartender/manager were to busy fondling each other and playing with each other below the waist which they did multiple times within a 25 min time span….no one washed their hands.

Google
I been meaning to write this review, we went to the Qbar last Saturday 3/22. It was our first time back since they reopened. We had been looking forward to it. My partner and I have been together for over 10 years we met at the Qbar actually so we thought it’d be fun to spin the block and see what they did with the renovations. We went around 8/9 pm not too many people were there yet. The bartender attended us pretty quickly but what threw me off is they were playing literal porn on the TVs which was off putting and uncomfortable. We’ve seen their new advertisements for the nights they have like Vice on Tuesdays, but now they have Puta Sucia which is wild if they’re going to be a porn bar then be that. It just made us feel really uncomfortable and we won’t be back also after the bartender served us once he never came back around to see if we wanted another round it was just an unpleasant experience.

Probably one of the best music you’ll get in the Castro. A hint of Pop music with remixes and edm. Very fun!

I’ve never experienced such rude security before. Yesterday, on a Monday night, I nicely asked if I could park on the street—a simple yes or no question—but instead, I was met with a nasty attitude. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Won’t be returning.

This place was pretty chill. I went on a Sunday night and it was Latin Dance night. There was a good combination of males and females, which for a gay bar was good to see. The location is right in the Castro district a few doors down from the Bear bar. Lots of people dancing and having a great time. Was super fun to be a part of. The prices were good, too... especially for being in Cali and S.F. I pay the same in Boise, Idaho; however, there you got a chip for a free drink, which was bad ass! 2 for 1 drinks... good drinks, too! The only thing that I didn't like was that there wasn't a toilet. There are urinals, but I couldn't find a toilet. Where are the ladies gonna go? Or they guys that gotta go go :)~

Google
This is my husband's favorite place to start a Saturday night, if for no other reason than happy hour. It's a great place to end the night, too, after the crowd has cleared some. The two-for-one during happy hour is good, and the music isn't bad either. The Andrew Christian ads on the TVs can be a little much, but we do enjoy the amount of seating available — even after tables and high tops have been cleaned away. I'd be careful about ordering the well rum, though; it's terrible.

Google
Honestly, when I went here with my boyfriend, I was already tipsy, but remember a couple of things that I didn't like: 1. The music 2. The super strong drinks The music that they were playing in here wasn't really music that anyone could dance to. There was no one in the dance floor. I was reading some reviews, and when we went here on a Friday night, it was surprisingly empty. In regards to the drinks, my boyfriend got me a Moscow Mule (my favorite drink), I expected what I expect from a mixed drink: thoroughly mixed. Not this one, it tasted like straight up vodka shots. Since my alcohol intake isn't as high as my boyfriend's, I ended up giving it to him. Would I come back here again? I mean, yeah, I'd give it another shot.

Google
Great music, nice atmosphere and nice promotions. Only complaint is that on Monday nights they offer "$1.00 well drinks". I ordered two WELL long islands and two WELL whiskey and cokes. The whiskey and coke was $1.00 but the long islands were $7.00 each! I asked the bartender why my bill was $16.00 and he said because long islands weren't a part of the promotion. Excuse me? I ordered all WELL drinks, they should have been $1.00 each! I guess don't order anything with more that one type of liquor in it?

Yelp
I came here 420 weekend (well 4/19) and had a great time. The security guards (one guy early on and a woman as well later) were very friendly, helpful and didn't give us a hard time for going in and out to smoke (cig and vape). The bartenders (particularly the cute long haired guy) was super friendly, made good conversation and made great tequila sunrises. The bathrooms were clean. The water station was convenient and always stocked. The go go dancer was super friendly too! We went on a tribute night (Kylie M ) but I could tell the music otherwise would be fun, pop and dance types. It was a bit dead until around 10:00 PM but that's no surprise, I personally prefer that because when it gets crazier at 12 AM there's still room to have fun/socialize without feeling like you're going to be crushed. Was a fun night out. Plus side, the pizza place next door makes a great snack halfway through the night.

Yelp
For being EMPTY on a Tuesday night, you'd think the bouncer (bald African American) would be doing his job well and with respect. Makes perfect sense that all their reviews since re-opening have all been 1-star Two of us came by while waiting for the rest of our party (15-16 people) to celebrate a handful of milestones I peeked in to check out the "new" q bar since we haven't been back since it's re-opening. I say hi and ask the bouncer a question. He ignores me and I repeat my question, "when did you guys reopen?" He looks down on his phone. He looks at me as if I had just done something wrong, I realize that he had his AirPods on so I ask "can you hear me?" He is now obviously agitated. I say "sorry, can I ask you a question?" He takes off his AirPod and angrily says "NO HI? A HELLO WOULD BE RESPECTFUL" Seeing that maybe he probably just hates his job and it's not worth bringing my party into an EMPTY bar with a terrible bouncer, I refused to waste anymore time and say "I hope you have a wonderful rest of your evening" and walked away. We went to the lookout instead and spent $4k altogether. where we received wonderful service and made sure that the staff was well taken care of

Yelp
Listen, I've been anxiously anticipating the return of Qbar since 2019, thrilled they finally opened back up, BUUUUUUT 3/4 times I've tried to go they have been closed. The one time I did get in it was dead, the floors were very sticky, and the "glasses" smelled badly, my cocktail was undrinkable. Supposedly they spent a lot of time re-doing the inside after the fire, but I have to admit, the budget must have been low and put together by a straight guy who pocketed most of the money then said everything should be sf themed (?) very odd. Not the vibe.

Yelp
2025 Never open, like cmon yall use to be open daily pre Fire. Been "open" two months and still never open, just close fr if y'all won't be open consistently.

Yelp
Fun dancing bar with a great mix of sexual orientations. Decent drink prices. Highly recommend this bar.

Yelp
$8 cover on weekends, the bar is ugly ugly ugly (...whoever "redid" it ooooof), and opens AT 9pm. Go elsewhere. Waste.

Yelp
Went on Saturday and, after paying a cover, spent an hour listening to the DJ yelling, "White people watch and learn how to dance!", "Latinos in the house show the white people how to dance.", "Let's get a white person in the middle and see how you dance.","It's my birthday!", and continued to ridicule white customers over the sound systems while not mentioning anyone else. Didn't expect racism, intolerance, and exclusivity in a bar in the Castro in 2019. The atmosphere became extremely uncomfortable and threatening. We could only deal with it for an hour and my friends and I decided to go to a bar not promoting racism and hate. Bartenders, security, and door guy were all nice and didn't appear to have racial problems and treated everyone equally.

Yelp
All I can say is, if you want to party like it's 1 AM on Saturday but it's only 10 PM on Monday, look no further. As for the clientele, cute young guys (maybe 80/20 split, the latter being straight, the former being, in this hetero dude's honest impression, better dressed and in better shape) but 40/60 the other way for girls (fewer of them overall though). Not to be left out of the mix if you aren't the type of guy to frequent the Castro. you are missing out on a great time. Also seems like a good place to bring a really cool girl you met at one of the less poppin' Monday night locations around town. (or, of course, a really fun guy if you're batting from the other side of the plate) From now on, I think it's Emily Anne at Rickhouse followed immediately by a 10 min. cab ride to Q-bar along Market Street. no question. PS: good luck at work on Tuesday, the drinks are strong. I suggests downing something greasy and filling at Sparky's circa 1 AM before you head home. (they always have South Park on the TV when it's that late too, laughing helps stave off hangovers... FACT! last time it was the tri-pod and wheels episode. Classic.)

Yelp
I came here by myself on Monday night. I had a couple drinks , price is reasonable! No ripped off . The disk jockey was great , he played all my favorite songs . The place itself is cozy, not too much space to dance . Imagine on the weekend , it would be too crowded but fun. The entrance fee is $5 . Not bad at all when comparing to West Hollywood. By the ways, this is a mixed club ! All kinds of people here :)

Yelp
Of all the gay bars in the Castro, Qbar is up there being one of my favorites. It is pretty small inside, but can definitely pack a good dance party. I love the dj booth, the screens on the wall, and that everyone there is always ready to have a good time. If you are going bar hopping in the Castro, or want to go dancing, then Q Bar should definitely be a spot to stop on your journey!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love Q Bar! Drinks are cheap..oh so cheap. Before 9pm, they also have happy hour deals. What else? great music, no frills, not grimy, just fun times. I think after a certain time there is cover, but common, get this. I order 4 shots of tequila and it was less than $30 with tip..that's unheard of at any other neighborhood besides the Castro. They have a decent size dance floor and gogo dancers to keep the partying going. Now, with $10 minimum, they also take card. Win win for sure.

Yelp
I like going to the Castro and I like good house music. This place is centrally locates and features a dj Booth that's filled with good local players often. The bar staff does a good job, the security aren't abrasive or unfriendly, and the crowd is mostly fun people drinking and diggin the tunes. Never had a bad time here once in my 8 or so visits. My friend lives right up the hill and has his studio there. Our other friends that produce music visit with him often. Heading down to this place after a session and some sushi is standard for our group and people look forward to it. It's not an amazing sounds system or a bunch of production. It's just a bar with good people, good DJs, and good vibes. I recommend it to anyone who needs a stiff drink and a lil a** shakin' with some sexy friends of all genders and orientations. Party on party people.

Yelp
This Q bar is up beat with an allure of a sports bar with all the TV's! The drink specials are pricey but the service is impeccable. It's darker than expected but offers special nights such as Lesbian night and a DJ playing the latest hits with a retro mix at times. As one of the as one of my Yelp friend said yeah be careful with your phone n your wallet as I was sitting there as my cousin went to the restroom I heard someone saying be careful cuz a few people came in to try to take someone's phone,There's is no security during the day they don't check your ID so I'm assuming they will at night.

Yelp
I had a fabulous time here, but maybe because it was Pride weekend and I was super drunk already before ending up here! The music was fun, lots of throwbacks and EDM.

Yelp
Less than impress with this bar. Out of all of the ones on Castro I will walk past this one and just pretty much hit up any other one. Their service was okay, the drinks were good though. The dancing space was average and the fact that there's a cover charge when there could literally be tumbleweed rolling around is actually crazy. None of the music there was like OMG, but overall okay.

Yelp
I sometimes even dance to commercials. It's true. I've boogy-ed to gum ads, mouthwash commercials. And I'm sure at some point I've even broke it down to AT&T's jingles. If I detect the slightest of beats - I can't help it. My body leads the way. So walking into Q Bar is beat heaven. Their DJ's always seem to be spinning quality beats seamlessly. Jamming "on point" music that you really have to seek out - in the rest of the city. Current radio stuff that will have you hip-rolling well into the night, sandwiched with some commendable throw-backs. I've been here a handful of times with friends during the week - and I tend to go earlier on in the night. Since I rarely stay late - the dance floor and seating booths are always pretty open and easy to navigate. I'm not sure what Q Bar is like on the weekends and how crowded it can get - but as of now - it's prime dancing territory with talented DJs and a friendly crowd. If you're bored of jamming to Pepsi commercials - throw on some sneakers and get your groove on at Q-Bar. Trust.

Yelp
"That must be a fire hazard." "Someone better call the fire depo." "Oh good lord it was like 20 degrees hotter in there." Q on Saturdays is the place to go if you'd like to die swathed in bodies and sweat. There is LITERALLY not one foot of space to move around in because they let anyone and everyone in. Other nights Q is tons of fun. I was here for the Pink Party a few months back and had a seriously awesome time. The drinks were fiery yet drinkable and the music was fab. Later after seeing the train wreck that is Badlands I'm much more partial to Q. The fact they have no cover is just the brandy on Alexander.

Yelp
CHEAP DRINKS + CUTE BOYS MAKING OUT = AWESOME HAPPY HOUR Yesterday, 4.26.11, my friend and I needed to kill some time before meeting up with our other friends for dinner at Bisou around the block. Trigger was closed--BOO! And two other nearby bars which will remain nameless was just not our scene. My friend noticed a sign that said, "Q Bar" and with the word "bar" in its name, we decided to give it a look. Boy, did we get lucky... *2 FOR 1 HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS (4 PM- 9 PM): $7 for two STRONG Tanqueray Tonics (Cash Only) *Free Goldfish Crackers *HOT AND FRIENDLY Bartenders *TONS OF EYE CANDY (Too bad they wouldn't give me a second look.) *Plenty of Seating with Outdoor Patio *Trendy Silver and Pink Décor *Thumping, not Blaring Dance Music Will I return? You betcha! I hear "Bootycall Wednesdays" C-A-L-L-I-N-G my name... except I probably won't be getting any booty that night. P.S. - I think I have figured out WHY I'm single, ALL the cute, charming and down-to-earth guys are in The Castro. *sigh*

Yelp
I have been to Q bar plenty of times and had decent experience since its always packed. last night was definitly the WORST experience me and my friend EVER had. What happen? you might ask. here is What happen! My friend and I wanted to relax on a Wednesday night and taken an advantage for the happy hour in the Castro since it ends at 9pm. we walked in since it wasn't too pack. We stood in the middle of the bar trying to wait for the bartender to come. we stood there for at least 5 to 10mins, NO ONE CAME or even look at us, well at least the person who was cleaning the cups. then we patiently wait a little bit longer and some guy came after us, stood next to us, and guess what? THE BARTENDER TOOK HIS ORDER INSTEAD OF OURS!!!!!! we were like did he just take his order and not ours? so we decided to leave!!!!! We were pissed off and guess what, we went to Toad Hall instead and we get served RIGHT AWAY WITH A BIG SMILE!!!!! i have never feel so rejected or what not in a bar. I would understand it was busy and you can't tell who's first or whatever. For goodies sake, it wasn't even FULL and you gonna treat us like that!! OH HECK NO!!!! I have been working as a waitress for a very long time and you NEVER EVER piss a customers off!!! because you know why? BECAUSE BAD EXPERIENCE TRAVELED FAST!!!! all i can say is... WE WILL NEVER EVER STEP BACK TO Q BAR EVER AGAIN!!!

Alfredo C.

Yelp
They disrespected and kicked out the one person in the group who actually liked this place after a good 2 year run. After everyone paid cover charge mind you and they took our drink money but did not give us our drinks that were paid for. They charged the card and are commiting fraud, probably every night. Fantastic. Hopefully someone investigates them with secret shoppers and whatnot. And some of us are still trying to figure out why we come here, except for the few cool people who actually got tipped which means you have to pay the employees to be nice to you here. That's fine. So they call their patrons b****es and a$$holes in front of the entire crowd for not paying them to be nice? Ok fine. And if you still don't tip after being intimidated and insulted by the customer service peoples then you will be kicked out. But if that happens to be what you are looking for then this could be the place for you... If you want to be trained as a human being to be ok with being harrassed, abused, and assaulted then go here. It is great for that. Checkout the other reviews on Yelp for more experiences of racism and discrimination... Buex down on Market was way more chill and much less hostile and filled with fun loving people, minus the drunk latino heat, well then again he probably loves dryhumping...and I'm guessing real humping straight women at the gay bars. Aaaand I digress. I hope we never have to go to QBar again. Please please please don't let us back in ever again for our entire lives so we could save at least $26,000 on cover charges plus $130,000 in drinks plus tips of $65,000 in our lifetime or more... In other words: We Will....Survive.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
We originally came here because we were told that this was a Lesbian bar - on the night we were there, not the case. We went in with the expectation that this was one of the few lesbian bars in Castro but were greeted with nothing but men and their straight female friends. Nothing wrong with that, just not what we were looking for. Drinks were cheap and strong, cover was low to moderate depending where you're from. Bartenders, Go-go dancers and the person taking cover were all friendly. They played a nice mix of hip-hop. What I would be interested to know is where the LGBTQ, POC party in and around Castro because I sure didn't find any :(

Yelp
First time visiting this bar. We were here for the weekend. Good music. Good vibe. Good dancing. During happy hour we ordered a jolly rancher & corona. We got a few dollars off..? Then for the rest of the night we ordered a jolly rancher & a brew on tap. Each time our bill was $17. I thought drinks were expensive.

Yelp
Q bar, Q bar, Q bar... Where to begin? There are a couple of things that I love about Q bar, but also plenty of things I don't love about Q bar!!! Loves: 2-for-1 well drinks on happy hour, the videos they play (hey a girl can still look, no judgy judgy), the music. Not-Loves: The bartenders: Every time I go here, it's someone new and they always have a 'tude! The temperature: Unless you just go for happy hour, this place is a sweltering jungle and condensation drips from the ceiling. Bible!!! The bathrooms: 1 disgusting stall in the women's bathroom... Need I say more? The Jerk at the door: who always makes you wait, just to make you wait! Go here for happy hour and later only if you are drunk enough to not care.

Yelp
Great music and mixes, great DJ friendly diverse environment for ALL! Mini coat check available, even a smoking room (O_O) and gogo dancers. How much can you pack in this efficient space? The neon light shines on the dance floor, with bar tables (more like bar platform attached to the wall). If there's a bar in Castro that I will take friends of all kinds, visiting outside the country or out of town to, and to experience the culture of San Francisco is probably this one. Lol, there are a few folks who are completely conservative and unfamiliar with the SF diverse scene that felt awkward here. Lolz It's is a part of the SF experience afterall. Blows a lot of people's mind The Georgia's Peach blew my mind. Note "the" No one makes it quite like QBar. I am a big champagne fan, and won't go for normal sweet champagne cocktails. But this secret recipe with Wolf Blass Brut, Stoli Peach, Peach Schnapps, Fresh lemon, sugar rim (according to the web, portion undisclosed) is fabulous. The touch of sugar rim (powdered sugar!) is ingenious!! Never thought the smooth powdered sugar would go so well with smooth and bubbly champagne (duh. only clear after this experience). I am a fan! I am inspired to use powdered sugar on champagne now. it's literally like the icing on the cake

Yelp
Came here on a Monday for the 1dollar drinks everything was fine until I get into a discussion with a girl there . Security had no idea what was going on and just grabbed both of us and kicked us out. I understand if we were fighting, but we were just having a discussion. I tired giving the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he was trying to prevent a fight. Which I'm ok with. But NO ONE should ever grab on you really hard that you have a BRUISE the size of TEXAS on your elbow. VERY VERRYY ROUGH UNPROFESSIONAL MAN. I'm 5'1 there is no reason a 6'1 man needs to grab me so hard that I still have a bruise 5 days later. Only person that actually had good intentions and wasn't rude while doing here job was a female bartender with long black hair. She's awesome but never ever going back ....... maybe it's cause I'm straight ? Idk fuck qbar though and THANK GOD FOR YELP & PS BARTENDERS IF U DEMAND A TIP, YOU WONT GET ONE

Yelp
I was trying to give this place a chance but after I buy my first drink and the bar tender complains because I'm not leaving him a tip. Really who does that?

Yelp
This bar is amazing I feel very comfortable all the staff are amazing and the owner is great also I love each and everyone of the Qbar family
google avatar

Yelp
Went on a Tuesday with a bunch of friends. It was super packed. The line - or scattered gathering rather - for the girl's bathroom was like a 20 minute wait. I didn't try any drinks here though, so I can't judge that. It was okay otherwise, and I was glad we made it in before they started making people wait outside in the rain.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is actually pretty fun for younger people. I go to the Castro every so often and I can't help to notice that the majority of the people who go are an older crowd . Which there's nothing wrong with but this Q bar tends to have a younger crowd , at least the times I've been. The music also seems to be more relevant to music that I know and can get down on the floor to. I think this is a cool place to check out at the Castro with a friend if you're around the area. It's kind of small, that's the only thing I'd change but other than that I think the music and staff are great .

Lupe L.

Yelp
This guy was extremely rude. He didn't want to serve us because someone we were with wanted water. He Tried ripping my phone from my hand when I took this photo of him. Rude as hell.

Yelp
Yes, super cheap happy hour surprisingly on a Saturday (until 9 pm) with buy one get one free drinks, but who knows what they're using because I felt like shit afterward. The bar is cash only. There's an ATM toward the back, but obviously there's the annoying $2 fee. I was definitely ignored for awhile as all the boys next to me were served first. The dance floor is tiny, and you have to constantly walk through the middle of it to get to the bathrooms if you're in the seated area toward the front of the "club". Online it said Saturday nights are supposed to have 90s hip-hop and r&b but they were playing cheesy 80s rock and early 2000s top 40 instead. The only positive things I can say is the doormen were super nice and the crowd is attractive and friendly.

Yelp
Horrible bar and experience!!!! I had just walked in from paying the cover charge. I was holding my cardigan (tiny ass sweater), set it on the empty bar where no one was ordering, to tie my shoe and the bartender pushed it on the gross sticky floor and yelled at me "no shit on my bar".Before leaving that night, I approached him and told him, in a nice tone, I'm sorry if my sweater was in the way, but I would have appreciated if he would have asked me to remove it instead. Now this guy was very tall, I'm a 5'1.. he replied to me saying It wasn't him who did it, it was a customer and that I'm coming at him very aggressively. HE LIED! I saw his whole body fling my sweater at me from the floor and make eye contact with me! And then told me I was being aggressive.. idk his name but that guys is a piece of shit. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS BAR. It's the same man with the dreads that has been mentioned in the other posts!

Yelp
Wow.. everywhere else in the castro is dead on a Tuesday night... except Q bar- and they're charging a cover! Badlands, the Cafe, totally empty. It was crowded and the dance floor was happening. Lots of friendly people, not the skeezy ones from Badlands. It was fun and everyone seemed in good spirit. Thank goodness for coat check. It gets super hot in there and SF weather is always super cold. Much better music selection. Doorman has a motorcycle with the license plate easy access... if you ask him nicely he'll let you pose for a pic.

Yelp
Great 2 for 1 happy hour! They also take credit cards which is rare in the Castro as most bars are cash only. Bartender Angel is the best! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ah, another gay bar review by yours truly. In it's former, this venue was pretty disgusting...meaning when it was the former BOC before she rose to "stardom" over on Church and Market. Now, the venue has taken on a whole new life altogether, and I can't tell you how great it is, personally. It's still the size of my closet, but the new lighting effects, plasma screens behind the bars and what sounds like a new and updated sound system, give this place a completely NEW feel. I usually only frequent this place two nights a week. Wednesday nights for Booty Call and Friday nights because there's no cover all night. The drinks are always cheap and power packed, and I like their arry of specialty cocktails. Although once I had a blueberry mojito and tasted like something from under the kitchen sink. Live and learn, kids. Live and learn.

Yelp
Honestly, this bar was one of the best places I try with my friends. The people are really friendly and it wasn't very expensive if we consider the localisation. If I can go back to San Francisco, it's very sure I'll be there again with my friends. The music was good too. Clearly it's the bar of you want take the dancefloor with your squad!

Yelp
This place is fun when you are 18 with a fake ID living your Lady Gaga fantasy in 2008. This place has served its purpose but alas, I'm late 20's and can no longer come here.

Yelp
This was stop #2 on our night of bar hopping. There was a short line outside.. the bouncer didn't seem all too friendly (must've had a bad night". Cover was $2. It's a quaint place. They had two male go go dancers... I thought they were alright until someone placed a drink on the table/area they were dancing and one of them kicked the drink all over me. The music was pretty decent... I wasn't a fan of the people that tried to grope me. I heard Britney Spears also made an appearance here the day after I was here. so that's some plus points right?

Yelp
Another great bar to go to while in San Francisco. This place gets packed pretty quickly. The cover is $10. There is a coat check for $2 which is really nice for dropping your purses off. There are go go girls dancing who really know how to move. The music is a great selection. You won't regret it. The only downside is its small.

Yelp
They steal money from customers, refuse to give you your change and then accuse you of lying. I have never experienced worst customer service. This place is absolute trash. I would never recommend someone go here. I'm so disappointed and disrespected by this sham of an establishment. Terrible. Trashy. Garbage!

Yelp
I waited about 20 minutes to go to the bathroom (there's only 1 bathroom for women)and just when I was next the security guard stood up in front me and said the bar is closed you gotta go so I said I really need to go please! And he pushed me and yelled me asking me to leave the place! Who does he think he is to treat people like that! I'll never go there again and of course I won't recommend it

Yelp
Two for one drinks! Friendly bar staff. Great music. Just remember to not let your guard down in the Castro. Wallet? --front pocket! iPhone?--the other front pocket! Jacket?--pockets zipped and wearing it! Alcohol buzz?--mellow but still have my wits about me. Sad but true --this is what it has come to in quite a few bars here in the Castro.

Yelp
I went there yesterday for my Bday, such a good place! $1 cocktails, pretty good music, you can even dance! I had a great time! It's such a great idea to have this kind of happy hour on Mondays. The place is pretty crowded, but we had enough place for dancing. The location just near the Castro station and the F Line is ideal. Since it was my birthday and my friends paid everything for me, I couldn't check if they accept credit card or not. The cocktails were not too soft, not too strong, just enough.

Yelp
Music was okay very 2009 for my taste but hey I can dance to it so I can dig it! Downfall of this place is the guy that ran up and STOLE MY MONEY from the ATM while I turned around for a second to give my gf a kiss be careful use the atm there. I told the security guard and they did nothing not cool.
