Yelp
Fluffy and puffy garlic naan, so soft you'll swap your My Pillow for it. Really good naan, but be careful because if you eat too much of it, you'll ruin your appetite.
I ordered via Yelp for a 6pm pickup and like clockwork my order was ready. Easy in and out of the parking lot and swift and friendly service made the transaction super efficient.
I'd much rather dine in, but this little joint isn't set up for a crowd and since the stay at home order hasn't been lifted, takeout or delivery is it. Let's get this state going again!
Everything I ordered was good, fresh, nicely spiced all as expected. We of course could have gone much more spicy hot, but that doesn't change the rating. The food is good, but I did notice some of the portions were smaller than some other places. The basmati and lamb biryani portions were decent, but the amount of lamb was minimal, I recall seeing just one chunk of lamb. Raita was a good amount...and though two of us were nicely filled, had the 3rd joined us (and we controlled ourselves and not over indulged on garlic naan) we typically have about leftovers for 2-3 more meals. Not critical, just an observation.
The chicken in the Chicken 65 and Tikka masala seemed dry to me, but the sauce made up for that. The sauce in the Lamb Bhuna was a new one for me, lovely ginger and garlic and yummy with the rice. Lamb was tender.
The onion bhaji was tasty, but didn't travel well as it was soggy...which is often the case with dishes fried with chickpea flour. Thumbs up on the mint and tamarind chutneys, I could eat the chutneys by themselves, so delish.
The food is decent and the location is super easy to navigate. With so many Indian options around we would likely try them before giving this little place another try, but I am not ruling it out. Everything was good, albeit a tad bit pricey ($103 including a 20% tip)0 for the portions, but maybe that's just me...and I need to get out more. We all do.
