"An unsung restaurant tucked into a nondescript Lawndale strip mall, this completely ordinary-looking place might actually have some of the best Indian food in the South Bay. The butter chicken, palak paneer, dal makhani, and specialty fish curry with coconut milk and lemongrass are all very good to excellent, best paired with the fluffy steamed basmati rice or garlic naan. Most people will want to take the food to go as the dining room is more functional than actually pleasant.
